I am working on a design that uses a 72F324K4T. I need some additional data memory, about 64k to 128kbytes. I would like to use serial Flash (SPI). However, from the data sheets it looks like I will need to use some diode clamps and a voltage translator because, the ST7 must run at 5V and the serial memory at 3.3V.
Has anyone else had this problem? Can you recommend a serial memory device that has worked well for you or NOT worked well with the ST72F324?
