will it measure liquid level in mm accuracy?

we can get mm accuracy in diesel level measurement?

Hello,

To answer your question, yes we can detect diesel within the same performance as outlined in the VL6180X datasheet. As diesel is not 100% clear the VL6180X will report a distance. If the liquid is clear or slightly clear then we cannot guarantee the measurement readback from the VL6180X.

Hello,

We noticed that it depends on the reflectivity of the tank bottom.

We could measure with precision the black body tank bottom but it didn't work with the white bottom.
