I downloaded the 53l3 GUI sw from ST website here PN is STSW-IMG016 . Does it include Maint6 driver ? (It from AN5561 application note)
Pls check picture 1.jpg & 2.jpg.
Second question.
If STSW-IMG016 GUI SW can allow 53l3cx If STSW-IMG016 GUI SW can allow 53l3cx to measure the maximum distance of 5 meters
How to switch between medium (indoor, 5000mm /50%/ 88% white card) & long mode (indoor, 4400mm /50%/ 88% white card )
pls check the picture 3.jpg & 4,jpg
Please 5.jpg, It's my GUI SW using version info, does it incloud maint6 driver ? & can it make 53L3cx bare module to measure to 5m distance ?
Thanks , BR, Angus

The VL53L3CX includes all the improvements in Maint 6. That's how the distance can get to 5M in the best case setup.
If everything is perfect - No 940nm ambient light, and a big, very reflective target - you can get to 5M.
