Where to find Time-of-Flight Arduino libraries

The purpose of this article is to provide the direct links to the Arduino libraries of the ST ToF sensors.

All ToF have its own library and examples available on GitHub, developed by the STM32duino team. You may also find some non-ST Arduino libraries developed by the Arduino community.

Device name with link included

VL6180X

VL6180

VL53L0X

VL53L1X

VL53L1CB

VL53L3CX

VL53L5CX

Disclaimer: STMicroelectronics does not provide support to these libraries.

For any support on these libraries, refer to the STM32duino forum and STM32duino GitHub.

Hi. Just looking for an Arduino VLX53L3CX driver. The article above says not currently available but the repository has one there. Is it an ST driver and fully up to date?

Hello @Neale Hall

Thank you for your question, I let @John E KVAM  and @Julien NGUYEN to clarify.

I found the library source code in the VL53L1X link, but I couldn't find any sample code. Where can I find the sample code?

Hi @m-hoshino, thanks for your question.

I have checked the article and it may seem that ST officially supports these libraries, which is not the case.
This article has now been corrected to reflect this. My apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

I suggest reaching out to the STM32duino forum.

Best regards,
Laurids
