Hello,
we have developed some custom boards with S2-LP transceiver and BALF-SPI2-01D3 balun coupled.
We notice a non-linear behaviour between the output power set to s2-LP and the measured output.
By direct connection between signal analyzer and S2-LP, we measured that from 0 dBm to 14 dBm with 1 dB step, we have measured a constant step of 1dB with 10% tolerance.
When the balun is connected, we notice that the power step is quite similar in the range from 1 to 10 dBm ( about 1 dB), while from 11 dBm to 14 dBm we notice a significant increase from 1.2 dB to almost 2 dB measured instead of 1 dB set. We notice this on 3 different board layout.
What can be the cause of this step increase when the balun is present in the circuit?
