Hi team, We have used TESEO-LIV3F Receiver in our design. We are planning to use Active Antenna with this module. Active Antenna Part No. is ECHO27/0.1M/IPEX/S/S/15. Please suggest us how to interface the active Antenna with this module. Regards Faize

You can look at the X-NUCLEO-GNSS1A1 as an example, where, in addition to the inductor L2 (56nH) and the block capacitor C9 (56pF), a bidirectional single line ESD TVS protection diode is used. You can find all information under the tab CAD Resources: schematics, bom, etc.

Please have a look at UM2832, section 8.2. where the coupling of an active antenna is shown. It is a different TESEO module, but the principle is identical. The DC supply of the antenna is fed in via an LC element, decoupled from the received signal. In addition, the UM2832 shows how Ant_OFF can optionally be used to switch this DC.

Good luck!

Thanks, Peter!

Please suggest us how to select the values for the DC coupling components (inductor & bypass capacitor & AC coupling component(capacitor in the RF line).
