VL53L5CX High current draw in HP idle.

Hello,

I have a X-NUCLEO-53L5A1 board wired up with SDA, SCL, 5V, PWR_EN and GND only. The sensor works and current draw is as expected in its ranging and LP idle states. However, when first booted up it will draw a normal 6mA in its HP idle then will do its ranging and afterwards draw 22mA. There is ~15mA on IOVDD and 6.35 on AVDD. The same issue occurs when I set it to HP idle directly and give it nothing to run. Do you know the reasoning for why it draws so much current?
