ToF VL53L3CX IO (IOVDD) Standard mode VS 2V8 mode voltage levels.

Hi,

I am using VL53L3X with MPU having voltage level 1.8V. In the data sheet it is mentioned that IOVDD typical voltage level is 1.8V in standard mode and 2.8V in 2.8V mode.

I want to make sure my design is correct to use VL53L3CX in 1.8V standard mode.

Redacted. I was looking at a datasheet for the wrong chip.

Hi John,

Thank you for the help.

I did not find any VDDIO PIN for VL53L3X in datasheet.

Can you tell me specific PIN for VDDIO in below image.

Thank you.

I have connected IOVDD to 1.8V and AVDD to 2.8V.

for an input on GPIO1, min is 0.7 times IOVDD. So that's fine. Input high has to be 1.12v min on I2C. So that is is fine as well. You are not the first. And the others worked well.

So go ahead.
