Teseo-ELE6A NavIC standalone mode

Hello, i am evaluating Teseo-ELE6A module and i would like to know if NavIC can be configured as a "standalone" constelation, without being combined with GPS,Galileo,etc....

In the documentation it is mentioned:

NavIC (IRNSS)
The module is designed to receive and track the L5 (1575.42 MHz) signal provided by the indian NavIC (IRNSS)
satellites system.
The module can receive and process NavIC (IRNSS) concurrently with GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and
QZSS.

But it is not clear if it can work without GPS, Galileo, .... Could someone tell me if this mode is supported and if there any statistics (time to fix, hdop, vdop, etc....) regarding its "efficiency"

Thanks in advance for the help

Hi Theodoros,

The module is designed to receive and track the L5 (1176,45 MHz) signal provided by the indian NavIC (IRNSS)
satellites system.
The module can receive and process NavIC (IRNSS) concurrently with GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and
QZSS.

And, YES, NavIC can be configured as a "standalone" constellation, without being combined with GPS, Galileo, etc...

The advantage of TeseoVI family, is you can use the same FW for all applications: positioning, multi-constellation and multi-band, Dead reckoning and can run L5 independently of L1. The FW is fully configurable.

Hope it helps.

Best regards
