Can't create new or open existing projects after NanoEdge AI Studio 5 update

After upgrading to version 5 of NanoEdge AI Studio, I’m unable to create new projects, and I also can't open projects originally created in version 4.6. Has anyone experienced similar issues?

Hi Julian,

I really appreciate your help in resolving both problems. And many thanks to your team for providing such a powerful and user-friendly development tool, thank you!

Have a good day,

Hi Julian and ST team,

One more thing I’d like to say—the interface in version 5 looks really cool!

Hello @winmanchen,

Thank you very much for your kind words. I will make sure to transmit them to the dev team!

Concerning the bugs, this is a temporary fix, I hope the dev team deploy a fix soon. It is patch internally but I don't know when they will deploy it. One thing that is for sure is that in the next version/patch, it will be fixed, so you will be able to deactivate the UTF8 compatibility if you want, as another user said that it makes some of its document behaving strangely.

The other user is using a virtual machine, so it can be another solution if you encounter struggle with this current solution.

If you need anything else let me know!

Have a good day,

Julian,

Hello Julian,

Thank you for the update and your support.

Indeed, some of my documents have been affected by the new UTF-8 setting, so I truly appreciate the team’s efforts and look forward to the upcoming patch.

Additionally, I would like to suggest that if NANOEDGE AI STUDIO could support GPU acceleration in the future, it would be a fantastic improvement and greatly enhance performance.

Thanks again!

Best regards,
