Hey everyone,

We're thrilled to announce a contest focused on custom containers!

Custom containers have been a hot topic on our forum, and we love seeing the enthusiasm and creativity from all of you. This contest is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills and collaborate with fellow developers.

To make things easier, we've put together some educational videos on how to create custom containers. Be sure to check them out on our YouTube channel for all the tips and tricks you need to get started.

You can find the terms and conditions, as well as the registration form, here. Please review them before you start developing your container to ensure it meets the contest rules.

No contest is complete without amazing prizes. You have the chance to win a STM32U5G9J-DK2 board (valued at $73.50) or a NUCLEO-H563ZI board and a RVA35HI display (total value $66.82), shipped directly to you.

Even better, the contest is open to everyone with an ST community account and is completely free to enter! Plus, each participant can submit up to three projects, so let your creativity run wild.

Mark your calendars! The submission period starts on March 18 at 12:00 a.m. GMT and ends on April 18 at 12:00 a.m. GMT. Be sure to submit your projects within this timeframe to be considered.

We can't wait to see your amazing creations! Let's come together, share our ideas, and support each other. This contest is all about the collaborative spirit that makes our community so special.

Happy coding, and may the best container win!

I tried to register but I cannot complete the registration form.
The field "Github repository to the custom container" is mandatory, but of course I have not made it yet!
I'd like to register but I don't have anything to submit yet.

  1. Is there a dedicated registration form or is the registration form the same as the submission form?
  2. Is there a limit to the number of submissions? Can I create 2 containers?

Hello @unsigned_char_array ,

Thank you for your interest to the contest!
There is only one form which is used as submission form. Registration is automatic as soon you complete le submission form. And yes, you need to put a link to your GitHub repository. Please read the rules carefully as we mention in it that you can submit up to 3 custom containers :)

Ok. If I have more than one submission do they all need to be in the same github repo or can they be 2/3 separate repos? Can I submit more repo URLs in the submission form, or do I do 2/3 separate submissions?

1 submission = 1 repo
So if you have multiple containers to submit, make they all have a different Github URL, and then you can do another submission through the form :)
