Hello SPC5 Community,
I'm using SPC5 Flash Programmer since few years to transfer binaries on SPC564B74L7 as it easier for OEM than JTAG and because there is no access to JTAG on some device we created.
On my last licence request (to:apgtools-license@st.com) I got an answer (from:antonio.martinez@st.com) telling that SPC5 Flash Programmer will be deleted from ST website because "it has not been updated for Windows 10 – 11".
I'm surprised that there is no other available solution over UART/LINflex. And it works fine on Windows 10 and 11.
Can provide more info and suggest other solutions how to load binaries in Flash memory?
Best Regards
Aurélien

There probably are, but the Automotive Industry has long been closed and proprietry.
No doubt other engineering teams with depth of SW/HW guys have written tools to do firmware updates and diagnostic on their own equipment, and vehicles.
Perhaps get/understand the underlying protocol so you can create the tools you need/expect. Or find open source projects you can get behind and support/fund?

Hello Aurelien ,
There is a Firmware updater component for SPC560B
I am checking with application team if there is an alternate solution
