Hi, I am trying to setup the Hightec toolchain in the SPC5Studio. I got the license error as shown in the image. Can someone help me to figure this out, as this is the first time I am using SPC5Studio. I followed the steps given in the Hightec website, and still got the same result.

fill the form , mac address and so on ..
and copy the licence in :
c:\SPC5Studio\licenses for 5.8.1
c:\SPC5Studio-6.0\licenses for 6.0

Hi,
PLS is the debugger used to debug the SPC5 MCUs. The error you get is for the license of the Hightec toolchain. This toolchain that could be used to generate the SPC5 application. However you could use the GNU GCC toolchain which is already available with SPC5 Studio and free to use.
