In file "jpeg_utils_conf.h" generated by CubeMX 4.26.1 in line 23 wrong expression: #elif defined (STM32H743xx)|| (STM32H753xx) || || (STM32H750xx). Code generated for STM32H743XI microcontroller, CubeMX version 4.26.1, STM32CubeH7 firmware package V1.3.0.ST please fix this in next version of CubeMX.

I am trying to measure the vibrations from a motor. I am using an accelerometer to measure the vibrations of motor. The output from accelerometer is in mV so i have amplified the signal using LM324 opamp and output is coming in Volts which is helpful for me but At the moment I could able to see the values of vibration data in keil( debugging window). My concerns are the following; When taking vibration data, when there are no vibrations there is a dc value that is driving to the input of ADC terminal which is affecting my acquisition data. If i add a capacitor at the ouput of amplifier then too it becomes complicated becuase of capacitor present in ADC terminal. will there be any opamp that gives only ac as output by eliminating a DC ? If there is any IC like that I will use that opamp?In general how is the ADC conversion takes place ? what are the stages in them ? How DC signal can be nullified. Is there any way I can bias the input of ADC in a way it works only after specific voltage

STM32CubeMX V4.27.0 release note states that STM32H7 uses firmware V1.4.0. Whereas in reality it uses V1.3.0. Is it possible to download STM32H7 firmware V1.4.0. I could not find it anywhere. Is firmware update planed?

Posted on April 07, 2018 at 08:49Hello,I'm having trouble setting up the SAI peripheral clock on an STM32L476RET6 using Stm32CubeMX (Version 4.25.0).I want to use the SAI2A as Master Receive on a MEMS MIC ICS43434 with I2S with FS = 48KHz. and SCK = 3.072MHz.FS = MCLK / 256So I put 12.288 in the field ''To SAI2 MHz'' and press enter but CubeMX suggests 12.235...12.235 / 256 = 47.79KHz would be a bit out of the way I want. So I put 12.288 * 2 = 24.576 and CubeMX suggests 24,571 which would theoretically give me a FS of 47.99 ... KHz which I think is good but when compiling on Keil (V5.24.2.0) and measure with my oscilloscope:FS = 58.7KHz insted 47.99 KHzSCK = 3.74MHz insted 3.07MHzMCLK = 15Mhz insted 12.285MHzthe microphone responds okay but obviously with an incorrect sampling rate for my application.I also configured another pin so that I could measure the clock generated by the HSI and measure 16Mhz as well as expected.on my board I have a crystal of 16MHz but when using it I have t

I've only been able to load demo code on the STM, not anything original. Here's why:Pc is Windows 10 64bit Error #545: Required gpdsc file "C:\Users\Emiko Suydam\Documents\MDK\Boards\ST\STM32F030-Discovery\Keil_test_project_1\RTE\Device\STM32F030R8Tx\FrameworkCubeMX.gpdsc" is missing.This error was generated by Keil while creating new project there, under Manage Run Time Environment, and selecting Buttons and LED. Keil expecting STM32cubeMX to generate this Framework file, but apparently it hasn't. Clicking Generate Code on a new project in STM32cubeMX locks up GUI, GUI can only be closed by ending the java service which is "Suspended". Both 32bit and 64bit JRE versions installed.

Hi All,I am trying to set up an ADC channel on a specific pin on the STM32F207ZETx; PA0 (pin 34) and I have come across a pretty "big" problem.When I set the pin and go to configure the pin, the "ADC1" button does not respond to a click and doesn't "look" like it usually does. I have attempted this on different STM32F2 MCUs with the same result. Everything seems fine with the F1 and F3 chips when I set them up. There is no icon, so to speak, on the button and nothing happens when I click it. To make things worse, once a project is saved like this it cannot be re-opened - it becomes corrupt.I am using version 4.26.1For reference this is what it is supposed to look like when there are no issues:I wasn't sure where to post this, so if it is in the wrong thread I apologise in advance, any solutions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,I'm trying to write some code using STM32CubeMX And HAL H7_V1.3.0.I was trying to use the Receiver Timeout feature of USART6, but there are a few places where it was missing:CubeMX did not allow me to configure this option, but this was easy enough to change in the user codeWhen I wanted to use the interrupt associated with this feature, I found that there is not way to define it with the __HAL_UART_ENABLE_IT function. There is a list of available interrupts, and the Receiver Timeout Interrupt is not one of them.Does anybody know if this feature will be supported in future versions of CubeMX and HAL?Is there a way to bypass this?Thanks in advance,Yan

I migrated CubeMX 4.25 to 4.26.1 and after migrating my project I cannot access the project anymore. I have the sandbox running I can access the generation code (did not try to generate new code).I have attached the .ioc file.

Hi guys i want to install cubeMx in my linux machine and i search it on google then it pop up results and shows some steps but it is showing me in .exe format and is not installing.Any Suggestions?

I am building a USB driver based on the USB CDC library code generated by CubeMX. The MCU is configured to support 64 byte USB messages through CubeMXSending messages from a host computer and parsing them on the MCU works fine when the USB payload is 8 chars (i.e. 8 bytes) or smaller. I can see in Wireshark that such messages are padded out to be 64 bytes on the wire.When 9 chars are being sent the MCU stops execution (without going to the hardware fault handler) and without hitting a breakpoint I inserted at the start of the CDC_Receive_FS function.I can see the USB message (padded out to 64 bytes, just like when having 8 chars as payload) going out from the PC using Wireshark and the hardware acknowledges the message, but the MCU halts without reaching any breakpoints.My main questions:Does anyone know why this would halt? Perhaps some simple setting I am missing?Is there any lower level code I can place breakpoints in to really try and figure out what is going on? To me it is not cl

I have to develop a product which makes use of STM32. So I was wondering if anyone makes use of STM32 CubeMX in actual product or is it just meant for prototyping.

I welcome do not regenerate main() in new CubeMX, this is very good for bootloaders. My main is also boot_main, I had to rename it everytime after project was regenerated.My suggestion is please add this functionality for every MX_*_Init function. Not generate function call already present, but I mean this for function.Eg: Somewhere I have uart initialized with baudrate loaded from flash, and I would not like to everytime replace newly generated init function with my edited one. Same applies for RTC when somebody uses backup register in MX_RTC_Initfunction.Any thoughts?

I cannot find the corresponding pins on MCU to the I2C Grove connector located on the fanout board. Currently I have an acceleromater connected to the Grove connector and would like to collect data from that. I have tried to open a new CubeMX project but cannot find the STM32L4R9I-DISCO board. I only see the STM32L4R9I-EVAL board. Please help.

When a TSC is selected, CubeMX populates two lines of the same source file in the Makefile. In other words, there are two lines of:Drivers/STM32L0xx_HAL_Driver/Src/stm32l0xx_hal_tsc.cin the Makefile created by CubeMX. To reproduce, create a new project with a L0 device, select TSC with some channel settings, and generate a Makefile project.Another bug is that CubeMX failed to update existing Makefile. To reproduce this bug, simply open up existing Makefile project file (*.ioc) and try to regenerate it.

Hello I am using CubeMX successfully for some time. Now got into strange situation when after configuration is done and trying to generate project files it actually does and reports successful generation , generated code is there but the project folder is missing .project file and .cproject file so it is impossible to open it in IDE... what can cause it?

1 The code was generated by STMCube and the MCU is stm32f030k6t62 I use 8M HSI RC as clock source .3 If I set SYSCLK to 8M (use HSI RC directly), the code can work on the board correctly 4 if I set SYSCLK to 48M (use PLLMUL). the code didn't work at all . 5 I just toggle a LED based on the generated code . 6 why did we can't use PLLMUL with STMCube?

I download demonstration firmware.\STM32Cube_FW_F4_V1.21.0\Projects\STM32F429I-Discovery\Demonstrations\STemWin​Run that . feel so good .ST-LINK is active and I can see USB Mass storage. but not responsed when USB USER connected(CN6).and freeze when I chooose FileViewer in top nemu.​I think 1more mass storage confirm when USB USER connect.Is it misunderstand?​I checked device manager in windows.it is host of USB.unknown device was detected.Need I get driver for that device??​Pls help me. Hi,I have an unpleasant experience with NEW CubeMX 4.26.1. I had project for Cube in veriosn 4.20 or something like that. But unfortunately, when I updated the CubeMX to vesrion 4.26.1. Then I opened my project in it, and then after generating code in CubeMX the all my own files (***.c, ***.h) in the projects was deleted. No waring, nothing. All my files in my project for TrueSTUDIO are gone.Is there any solution? When the new fixed version of Cube will be on ready?Thanks, Jan.

Previously posted to the STM32 "community", but it appears this might be the more appropriate forum...?Perhaps I'm a bit thick and am missing something, but it appears that in the most recent versions of the STM32L4 HAL that FIFO support has been added in the USART extension driver. Specifically, there are functions defined:HAL_USARTEx_EnableFifoMode()HAL_USARTEx_DisableFifoMode()HAL_USARTEx_SetTxFifoThreshold()HAL_USARTEx_SetRxFifoThreshold()HAL_USARTEx_RxFifoFullCallback()HAL_USARTEx_TxFifoEmptyCallback()However, the documentation for these is minimal at best, and there are "#if defined(USART_CR1_FIFOEN)" statements throughout the driver code, and I can find no definition for USART_CR1_FIFOEN anywhere, or how this should be defined. Can anyone shed some light on whether this USART FIFO functionality is supported, and how I can get it working?

Posted on June 04, 2018 at 07:10I'm trying to generate some working code for a STM32F746-DISCO board using STM32CubeMX Rev 4.25.1What I was expecting to happen is that I select all the peripherals, configure them how I'd like them to work, hit 'generate code' and it would make me a project that had everything initialised properly, ready to go. I could then write my application to use the peripherals as required.So I go 'new project', select the STM32F746-DISCO board, say 'yes' to 'Initialise all peripherals with their default mode', disable camera, sound, ethernet and USB (I don't need them and it chokes at startup if the Ethernet isn't plugged in), generate code for EWARM and open the project in IAR. I then turn off compiler optimisation and change the debugger to J-Link (I reflashed the board with the Segger firmware because the ST/Link one wouldn't work properly).I then program the board and let it run - the screen starts off white then goes black.If I go to memory adfdress 0x
