STM32CubeMX (MCUs)

Last Friday I tested STM32CubeIDE 1.0.0.I used Windows 10, STM32CubeMX 5.2.0 and STM32CubeIDE 1.0.0, and new STM32H7 firmware.I also tested STM32CubeMX 5.2.0, which now has an option to generate STM32CubeIDE projects, but it actually can't generate valid projects for STM32CubeIDE, right now.But the integrated STM32CubeMX in STM32CubeIDE can do it.However these issues came up:I no longer can select "Copy all used libraries into the project folder"I cannot uncheck "Generate Under Root", for STM32CubeIDE it is forcedIt no longer seems to be able to create virtual files (as we could with TrueStudio "New File -> Advanced -> Link to file in the file system")

Hello,I'm currently working of a project based on a CubeMX generated code.I'm currently experiencing something strange.I use a Segger J-link as a programming interface. When I want to debug my program, as I can see, the program arrive inside "SystemClock_Config" function. I check that everything is ok with breakpoints and it don't seem to create error.But after finishing this function the JTAG connection is lost like the board is disconnected.I reproduced the problem at least 10 times to be sure it was not due to a bad contact on my board.I would like to know if is some clock configurations can create this kind of problem.Thank you,

Hello I have configured my STM32F446RE MCU as master mode for CAN communication using STM32CUBEMX version 5.1.0 ..I have generated the code in uVision5-Keil .I'm not able to change the function--static void MX_CAN1_Init(void) where i need to include the following lines...hcan1.pTxMsg=&myTxmessage;hcan1.pRxMsg=&myRxmessage;As shown in below figure, pTxMsg and pRxMsg doesn't show up in the list.After being typed it shows error while compiling .So any help will be welcomed.

After installing Cube MX 5.2.0 I am getting error like cortex cannot debug, "Cannot access target Shutting down debug session." I spent a whole day even reinstalling Keil. Until I found that it is somehow problem with latest Cube MX 5.2.0 I installed back Cube MX 5.0 and it works again. I found a lot references to this problem to earlier Keil release but no fix solved it until I go back Cube MX 5.0

Is the FSMC_NL signal available on the PB7 pin in the LQFP64 housing? I am asking because STM32CubeMX does not have such a function for PB7 pin, and unfortunately I do not have time to test (I have to make a PCB for day before yesterday :( )This function exists in STM32CubeMX, when LQFP100 body is chosen

My company does not allow usage trackers that send information off-site. With the introduction of the usage tracker, I may not be able to use STM32CubeMX V5.2.0, or any version that uses tracking. If I cannot use CubeMX, I may not be able to use any STM32 processors.How can my company be assured that when opting out of tracking, NO information is being sent off-site? Will there be a version of CubeMX with no tracking, or at least tracking that can be permanently disabled by our IT security ​before installation?

Hi everyone,I am currently trying to generate a white noise using my Nucleo STM32L152RE but I do not reach to achieve it.I used CubeMX to create the init functions.You can see attached the settings for the DAC ( using the OUT1 configuration) in cubeMX.I initialized the TIM6 as a timebase, enabled the interrupt, started it with HAL_TIM_Base_Start_IT(&htim6) and in the callback ( it goes in) I call HAL_DAC_Start(&hdac,DAC_CHANNEL_1) to start the DAC, but it does not ouput any noise on A2 it only outputs a DC value such as if I used it to generate a constant voltage.May be I am totally wrong with the use of the DAC but it seemed correct to me.If someone could help me, I would be very thankful.Mathias

In the datasheet page 25, it is indicated that in mode stop 2 LPTIM2 is frozen. But in STM32CubeMx Version 5.2.0 we can see that LPTIM2 Clock mux can choose LSE so the timer is not frozen. Is there an error in the datasheet?

I just tried updating from 4.25.1 and every time I generate code my post-build steps are overwritten by 'arm-atollic-eabi-objcopy.exe -O ihex "${BuildArtifactFileBaseName}.elf" "${BuildArtifactFileBaseName}.hex".I tried with v. 4.27.0 and it's the same behavior, and searching the forum I noticed this post: https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X00009XkWCCSA3/stm32cubemx-4260-break-linux-atollic-900-project which seems to indicate this has been a problem (feature??) since 4.26.0.How do I stop CubeMX from clobering my settings? Or can I add another post-build step?

Hi, I am looking forward using the TIM20 timer as per datasheet says on a STM32F303RE (nucleo-eval board) but the STM32CubeIDE only show timer up to number 17.Is this a bug?Thanks.Cyril.

Hello,I use my own large CAN library, which uses an older HAL library. In the newer HAL Library the CAN APIs have changed fundamentally and I can not use these.So I have to create projects with an older HAL library.However, this does not work anymore with the integrated CubeMX version in CubeIDE.Can someone give me a hint how I can use an older HAL-Library in CubeIDE?

Please help me to deal with the problem with sd cards.  After several recordings and erasures of files on the sd card dramatically increases the recording time of one block of recorded data. And this is fixed only after full formatting in Windows or checking for errors in the program Check Flash (which is interesting, in this case there is no formatting). In this case, all SD card checks in windows on the pc are successful, there are no errors and testing the card for read and write speed is also normal. I can not understand what is happening with the map and how to get rid of this phenomenon.The device constantly records data from microphones in the form of WAV files up to 0-50 MB size and periodically transfers the compiled files (approximately 2-3 GB), after the transfer removes them from the SD card and starts recording new files. Hi, I'm installing USB VCP communication, I generated the project with CubeMx, my board is configured as a device and I loaded the virtual com port as a Class for FS IP.It happens that by compiling the program with GCC (True Studio) the "FS_Desc" structure is not loaded into ram (all pointers are at 0) and consequently when trying to use this structure the program crashes (Hard Fault).The same program compiled with Keil works perfectly ...Does anyone have any idea what happens?I attach the True Studio screenshot with the breakpoint where the crash occurs.

Hi,I have problems generating code in V5.2.0 of STM32CubeMX for 'Other Toolchains (GPDSC)'. If I configure FreeRTOS the cmsis_os file references do not appear in the generated .gpdsc file. Hello. Speaking of more stuff broken with the new update.I tried to update a project for an assignment, just wanted to change some peripheral settings and here comes the warning about downloading new version. Okay then.But now the generator does not include arm_math.h... I'm sick of new update breaking everything, I have something to deliver for college and now I have to go solve problems!

Is it possible to fix the CubeMX so that when it generates the code for STM32 chips it will add __weak declration to the following functions:SysTick_HandlerPendSV_Handlerinside stm32XXxx_it.cWhile intergrating to embOS, the OS api overrides these function and each time I make an adjustments to the cube it will delete the __weak decleration since there is /* USER CODE BEGIN */ in the prototypes
