STM32CubeMonitor (MCUs)

Good day, everyone. I am developing an application that uses the STM32 Nucleo F303RE to collect data from a machine every day. I employ STM32CubeMonitor for data processing on the data collected by the STM32 Nucleo F303RE. Since my application needs to run every day for 8 hours, my PC (with STM32CubeMonitor installed) automatically starts up and shuts down daily. However, I've noticed that the probe in node of STM32CubeMonitor fails to detect the debugger wire after a PC restart (as shown in the figure). I have to unplug and replug the debugger wire for the probe in node to detect it. Any method for me to let the probe in node detect automatically without physically unplug and replug the debugger wire?I've even tried disabling the "Allow the computer to turn off the USB device to save power" setting and turning off the USB Selectively Suspend Setting, but neither of them works. I am trying to measure DMIPS on a STM32 microcontroller. Can I use STM32CubeMonitor? Is there any other tools to measure DMIPS on a STM32 MCU?

The cube monitor frequently disconnects while capturing data. How do i solve this problem i want to log data continuously. The other problem is when i am saving the data as belowi do not know the location where the csv file is stored. Please help.

Hello, I followed the tutorial with just one variable (extracted from an elf) there was no problem the variable showed in the chart. But when I added another variable to the code and got a new elf. I went to the variable node to add the new variable but there's none (the first variable also gone). I tried with other elf files from other projects but it doesn't work either. Thank you in advance! (I'm using the CubeMonitor in Window10)

Good day. So I am busy with my final year project, where the goal is to control the speed of a DC motor by reading the armature voltage and current, and then estimating the speed of the motor. I am using the STMCubeMonitor to provide a reference speed, and then the estimated speed is plotted vs the reference speed in the Cube Monitor. I have 1 USB port available on my laptop, therefore I tried using a USB Hub to connect my external mouse and the STM32. When I have this configuration, as soon as a reference speed is entered, the motor does as expected and increases the PWM to reach the desired speed by varyng the voltage, but then the STM disconnects and the monitor stops. I then tried unplugging my mouse, and pluging the STM32 straight into the laptop's USB port. The STM then does not disconnect anymore, but as soon as I set a reference speed, my trackpad stops working and jumps around like crazy and therefore can't enter another reference speed. can stm32cubeMonitor recognize IAR IJet probe?I saw in one of your pages that it should but I tried it with 2 different computers and even though it recognized st-link, it didn't recognize the IJet probe.

I am using the STM32CubeIDE on Fedora linux and I would like to try the STM32CubeMonitor. However only .deb package is available. Is there (or is planned) the release of RPM package?I tried to convert the .deb package using the "alien" utility, unfortunately without success.

Just powered up the  X-NUCLEO-LPM01A with a L432KC mounted in the Nano socket but without having software to cycle thru test modes I have a flat line. In other words, blinky don't cut it for power monitoring.

I have Dell laptop with 4K display (XPS 15).A solution to handle this - to reduce the display resolution to 640x860 by the OS. please use updated JRE which can handle such displays.

I instrumented the code with the supplied code, and it works fine in STM Studio, but when used in CubeMonitor, after started, the dashbord just displays 'Acquisition started, waiting for value'. I've checked the data flow from STLink and found that only 'x' value present in the data payload, but without 'y' value.Is there a way to trigger the data sample manually? Or supporting trigger is mandatory in snapshot mode?

Trying to monitor a 'C' variable of type bool results in the errornot connected ! bad parameter (7)and the probe connection drops. It then comes back all on its own!!Changing the variable to any other type and the monitor runs fine.

But after install this software on the my Windows 7 I seen unreal picture:Installator of STM32Monitor putted its Icon on the my descktop and after I double clicked it was destroyed and removed all installation files and directories. After, I tryed next two Installs of this software - nothing. I want to in corporate conditional data logging in Cube Monitor Flow, since i intend to monitor the behaviour over many hours.My requirement is to log all the 4 fields:ms_enDeviceOrientationms_stStAccelDataXms_stStAccelDataYms_stStAccelDataZonly if ms_enDeviceOrientation changes from value of 1 to value of 2.I tried to tie this to the trigger threshold in data acquisition but this option was disabled.Could not find any examples to do this any other way.Looking forward to clear and specific description or example.Thanks in advance.

After rebuilding an ELF file, going into the Edit Variables node indicates that those variables alphabetically near the top are retained but those further down the list have been dropped requiring them to be re-selected. Is this a memory overflow and is there a way of allocating more memory so this doesn't keep happening?Thanks.

Hi Everyone!​I just started my first STM32F4 project and I was wondering if there is an IDE that can show the content of a range of memory in form of a data plot.​I ​tried to find someting on the web but had no luck so far.​This means for debug I am currently sending data in 8bit blocks via the serial port to the PC. Stitch it back together and plot it in Octave/Matlab.​Is there an easier way, ideally in the IDE? I am using AC6 at the moment.​​
