EVM : NUCLEO-WB09KEPRJECT: BLE_p2pServer_otaI tried to enter Shutdown Mode via "sw3"。The code is as follows: void APPE_Button3Action(void) { PWR_SHUTDOWNTypeDef sConfigSHUTDOWNT; if (bleAppContext.Device_Connection_Status != APP_BLE_CONNECTED_SERVER) { APP_DBG_MSG("Shutdown\n"); HAL_PWR_EnableWakeUpPin(PWR_WAKEUP_PB0,PWR_WUP_FALLEDG); /* Clear all related wakeup flags*/ __HAL_PWR_CLEAR_FLAG(PWR_FLAG_WUF0); sConfigSHUTDOWNT.BORStatus = ENABLE; sConfigSHUTDOWNT.WakeUpPinStatus = ENABLE; sConfigSHUTDOWNT.WakeUpPol = PWR_WUP_FALLEDG; /* Enter the Standby mode */ HAL_PWR_ConfigSHUTDOWN(&sConfigSHUTDOWNT); HAL_PWREx_EnterSHUTDOWNMode(); } else { APP_BLE_Procedure_Gap_Peripheral(PROC_GAP_PERIPH_CONN_PARAM_UPDATE); } return; } #endif /* (CFG_BUTTON_SUPPORTED == 1) */ However, when I lowered PB0 from 3V to 0V, there was no wake-up behavior. And UART TX does not output any message.Please tell me, how to solve this problem! Thanks~
On the WL33 range of boards is it possible to utilise the MRSUBG without turning on the LSE within the RCC section and instead have the MRSUBG utilise the LSI?I have found that if you leave the LSE enabled in RCC but set the clock configuration to use the LSI the program still functions but I wonder if it's still utilising the LSE under the hood.
I'm working on a new design with the STM32WL5MOD and ran across a few questions from the datasheet.The datasheet indicates, "Filtering capacitors on power-supply pins and components for the SMPS are already integrated into the module." The schematic that I've seen for MB1779 shows decoupling caps. Are the decoupling caps required, recommended, or not required?The layout for MB1779 shows vias under the device. Is copper allowed under the LGA92 package?I assume the LGA92 is shielded, so is an external shield not required?There aren't any specifications of the LSE oscillator in the datasheet, but I did notice that the high LSE drive level is required. It would be nice to have a specification on the LSE frequency accuracy (short- and long-term) in the datasheet.
Hi,Shortly. I want to send and receive data from another Transceiver module NRF905.I'm able to send data to NRF905 successfully, but to receive - unsuccess, and don't understand where the problem is.Here is setup: void MX_MRSUBG_Init(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN MRSUBG_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE END MRSUBG_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE BEGIN MRSUBG_Init 1 */ /* USER CODE END MRSUBG_Init 1 */ /** Configures the radio parameters */ MRSUBG_RadioInitStruct.lFrequencyBase = 868400000; MRSUBG_RadioInitStruct.xModulationSelect = MOD_2GFSK05; MRSUBG_RadioInitStruct.lDatarate = 100000; MRSUBG_RadioInitStruct.lFreqDev = 50000; MRSUBG_RadioInitStruct.lBandwidth = 100000; MRSUBG_RadioInitStruct.dsssExp = 0; MRSUBG_RadioInitStruct.outputPower = 10; MRSUBG_RadioInitStruct.PADrvMode = PA_DRV_TX_HP; HAL_MRSubG_Init(&MRSUBG_RadioInitStruct); /** Configures the packet parameters */ MRSUBG_PacketSettingsStruct.PreambleLength = 5; MRSUBG_PacketSettingsStruct.PostambleLength = 0; MRSU
Hi,Where can I find the design files of the MB2032B mini board? Especially the pcb file would be helpful on antenna design.
Hello, I'm a novice at using this forum and programming stm32 boards, so any advice is appreciated. My plan is to use two stm32wl552jc1 boards to collect weather data and display at a remote location. My goal is to learn how to program the stm32 boards while developing this weather data project. At the beginning here I have several questions. 1. Is the nucleo wl552lc1 the right board to use for this project? 2. Which cube ide should I use? There are so many it's confusing. 3. Is there online training available? 4. What is the best way to learn STM32 programming? Thanks for your help and advice, John Allen
We are working with the STM32WB series for Bluetooth communication and need to assign specific Bluetooth MAC addresses to our devices during End-of-Line (EOL) testing. Instead of using the default factory-assigned MAC address.What is the recommended method for assigning a custom MAC address during EOL?
Hi, I was wondering if there's any update on when "Matter Ethernet Examples" might be available. Looking forward to it. https://wiki.st.com/stm32mcu/wiki/Connectivity:Matter_develop_and_prototype#Platforms_supporting_Ethernet_technology Regards
Hello team, I am Manikandaprabu from illuminen technologies. I am working with STM32WB55CGU7 for client, server application.We need to pair the client and server modules and find the distance. Now we developed, client and server pairing is ok but the distance only 1 meter. We need to make this distance will be upto 10meter without connecting antenna. Help me to achieve our goal. Here below we attached our CUBEMX configuration for your reference. Is there need any changes in our configuration to resolve the issue.Kindly find.Thanks in advance.
- MRSUBG is disabled in CubeMX if i disable LSE , - CubeMX allows me to use MRSUBG only if i enable LSE. Is that possible to use MRSUBG with LSI ?
I'm trying to create a ZigBee-only project (no BLE), that will only implement an APS Coordinator with FreeRTOS support for the STM32WB5MMG module. I'm looking at the Zigbee_APS_Coord sample, which is exactly what I need, and I noticed that it has a folder called "STM32_WPAN" under the "Middlewares" folder. I went ahead to CubeMX and tried to add the STM32_WPAN component but I got this: The STM32_WPAN component is grayed out and won't let me add it unless I disable FreeRTOS!! Which is a big fat lie! Then how come the Zigbee_OnOff_Server_Coord_FreeRTOS sample project has both FreeRTOS and STM32_WPAN? It seems to me that it is indeed possible to have both, so, why am I not able to add it?
Hello,Please i have question.for the board : NUCLEO-WB05KZ : Can I program this board with arduino IDE? If you have simple tutorial codes for BLE to get you started, please let me know.Thanks
My supervisor and I have been trying to do some work using the Seeed studio board LoRa-E5 mini using STM32WLE5JC. After struggling a bit with removing the included write protection using the STM Programmer and a ST-Link, we managed to upload a script to the board. While we can, indeed see that the script has been uploaded, see picture attached below, the board seems to be entirely unresponsive. We can neither detect any activity on the connected serial ports, nor does the builtin LED flash (Code included below). We have also tried this on two boards, making it more unlikely to be caused by faulty hardware. The only response we have been able to get is that the RX LED flashes briefly if we send messages to it using the Arduino IDE (v2) serial monitor. Has anyone encountered similar problems to ours? Image showing that data has been uploaded to the controller: (We have also found machine instructions for writing to serial and blinking the built in LED in the system memory)
Hello all.I'm writing an application using an STM32WL33 device, actually facing continuous problems related to the documentation and SDK, that seems to suffer (understandable) youth issues.After having solved many, I came now to several problem I can't solve, related to the embedded bootloader and the startup sequence:- Reference manual (RM0511 rev 3) states: "ST provides a boot loader executed after each CPU reboot. This boot loader has its own documentation. ". Can't find that documentation.- Reference manual (RM0511 rev 3) states about the ResetReason (address 0x20000010): Copy of last reset reason from register RCC_CSR. The register is read, copied to this location by the bootloader code and finally cleared. As a consequence, software reading the register always reads 0. Users should read this location to know the last reset reasonThat address is pointed by the mirror variable RAM_VR.ResetReason..Even if the boot loader should clear RCC_CSR, the first row of Systemi
I have a application where stm32wb5mm is acting like a beacon. I got it to advertise configured data, now I am trying to advertise temperature measurement, for this, I need to dynamically update advertising data packages. So my advertising works ok, when it is just the template: /* Initialize all configured peripherals */ MX_RF_Init(); MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_RTC_Init(); MX_I2C3_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN 2 */ //UTIL_SEQ_RegTask((1 << 0), 0, task2); /* USER CODE END 2 */ /* Init code for STM32_WPAN */ MX_APPE_Init(); /* Infinite loop */ /* USER CODE BEGIN WHILE */ while (1) { //UTIL_SEQ_SetTask((1 << 0), 0); /* USER CODE END WHILE */ MX_APPE_Process(); /* USER CODE BEGIN 3 */ } /* USER CODE END 3 */ }But as soon as I enable the task that i created, the advertising stops: /* Initialize all configured peripherals */ MX_RF_Init(); MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_RTC_Init(); MX_I2C3_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN 2 */ UTIL_SEQ_RegTask((1 << 0), 0, task2);
Hello,I am working on a project using Nucleo-WL55JC1 and the X-NUCLEO-IKS01A2 sensor board. My goal is to read sensor data (temperature, humidity, pressure, etc.) and send it over LoRaWAN to a network server such as ChirpStack.I have already connected the X-NUCLEO-IKS01A2 to the Nucleo-WL55JC1 using I2C (SDA = PA11, SCL = PA12). I have enabled I2C2 in STM32CubeMX. The LoRaWAN stack is configured, and the device can successfully join a network.Now, I need help with the following questions:How do I correctly read the sensor data from X-NUCLEO-IKS01A2 in my STM32 project?How should I format and send the sensor data in a LoRaWAN uplink message?Are there any recommended libraries or example projects for this setup?
Hi,For my projects I use BLE MESH.I did not find any software stack about the BLE MESH protocol for the STM32WBA54 and STM32WBA55 processors?Is it planned on your side to provide them like the STM32WB55? soon?ThanksAlain Romaszewski
Hi If I understand correctly, this table in the datasheet says WB55RC family which I have a 256K flash type, should allow me to have 128K SRAM 64KB SRAM1 and 64KB SRAM 2 But the code that is generated with STM32CubeMX does not grant me all these sections: First of all there are two .ld files which I would like to know what are they and how they are used? One is STM32WB55RCVX_FLASH.ld with the following memory assignment: MEMORY { FLASH (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x08000000, LENGTH = 256K RAM1 (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20000004, LENGTH = 0xFFFC // which is(64K) RAM_SHARED (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20030000, LENGTH = 10K } The other one is STM32WB55RCVX_RAM.ld with the following memory assignment: MEMORY { RAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20000000, LENGTH = 64K FLASH (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x08000000, LENGTH = 256K } What do I have to do to have more RAM ? [Also in the labels that I am expected to assign for the post in the forum, there is no STM32WB family]
Hi, I am using a custom PCB with SM32WB5MM module. I am reading a temperature sensor and I want to update its value to the advertising package in "a_AdvData".For this I made a "shared_variable" in my main.c (for now its just defined to 10, later it wil lstore the temperature reading from sensor).Then I made a "extern int shared_variable;" definition in main.h.Then in app_ble.c I assign this data to the struct of "a_AdvData" package.Main.h /* Includes ------------------------------------------------------------------*/ #include "stm32wbxx_hal.h" #include "app_conf.h" #include "app_entry.h" #include "app_common.h" /* Private includes ----------------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE BEGIN Includes */ /* USER CODE END Includes */ /* Exported types ------------------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE BEGIN ET */ extern int shared_variable; /* USER CODE END ET */ /* Exported constants -----
Hi,i'm trying to work with Sigfox and MB1779B board.I try to connect with cube programmer and V3miniE.here is the log :is there a procedure to connect to board ?thank you
Hi, everyone. This is my first post.I want to build a completely new Zigbee project with my STM32WB55DK. I just want my device can connect to non-STM zigbee devices and STM zigbee devices and send my strings. Can someone teach me how to do it? The example codes is too difficult for me to understand it. Can i use APIs like using APIs on TI zigbee module series?Sorry for my bad English. Thank you.
On page 39 of UM3345 (User manual - STM32WB09 Nucleo-64 board (MB1801 and MB2032)):Note: With the BLE_p2pserver demo programmed in the NUCLEO-WB09KE, the low‑power mode is enabled tooffer the best low‑power performances. Therefore, on STM32WB09KE, the SWD lines are OFF and the toolcannot connect with the device anymore.To reconnect or reprogram the Nucleo board, it is necessary to enter the Bootloader mode. To do this, the JP1jumper on the MB2032 MCU RF board must connect 2 and 1That is, after programming example code "p2pServer" into WB09KE, SWD interface couldn't be used, programming could only in boot mode through UART.When I connect CN3 on ST-Link V3SET to [CN3-35] and [CN3-37] on MB1801D, it was prompted in Prog:13:40:46 : UR connection mode is defined with the HWrst reset mode13:40:46 : RTS low13:40:46 : DTR low13:40:46 : Serial Port COM6 is successfully opened.13:40:46 : Port configuration: parity = none, baudrate = 9600, data-bit = 8, stop-bit = 1.0, flow-control = off13:40:50
Hello,I'm having some trouble using adc with dma and HAL. I noticed that in function HAL_ADC_Start_DMA Length parameter is multiplied with 4. Shouldn't be 2 (16 bit data from adc)?File stm32wbaxx_hal_adc.c line 1760 (checked with versions 1.2.0, 1.4.1)Best regards
I'm developing a low-power device using the STM32WLE5.To reduce power consumption of the peripherals (sensors / display / eeprom) during the sleep of the MCU, all these peripherals are switched off with a P-channel mosfet as shown in this part of the schematicThe enable is driven down by a GPIO when the peripheral is active.To minimize the power consumption of the MCU during sleep, the IO's are configured as Analog inputs. The 1M pull-up resistor keeps the mosfet OFF when it's gate is not driven during sleep of the MCU.But it's not working as expected : when the IO is configured as analog, it's not rising to 3.3V, but remains at 2.5V, too low to properly turn off the mosfet..When I replace the 1M with 330K, it's better, but I'd like to understand why such a strong pull-up is needed ?The GPIO in analog input mode should be very high impedance, same for the mosfet..I could keep the GPIO in output and drive the mosfet gate even when MCU is in sleep, but AN4899 recommends them to be config
Hello,The datasheet for STM32WB55RG (DS11929, 3.6.1 RF front-end block diagram, page 22) states that the output power is user programmable:"In Transmit mode, the maximum output power is user selectable through the programmable LDO voltage of the power amplifier. A linearized, smoothed analog control offers clean power ramp-up."The figure 5 in reference manual RM0434 shows a Max PA level input to the LDO but I can't find the register to set this value. How do I program the RF transmit power on a STM32WB55 ?Thanks for considering my request.
