How can i program stm32wle5ccu6 with st-link which is on the nucleo stm32g474ret6 or is it possible?
Is it correct that the WirelessFwInfo_t.MemorySizeSram2A/B members describe the wireless stack occupied areas of SRAM2 in terms of 1k units (growing downwards)?I am noticing there is memory being written to at 0x20031000 onwards, but that doesn't line up with what the docs say and what the wireless information says.I only noticed this because there is our data in that space which was getting corrupted - work around is to reduce our memory usage and not go above that address, but why is this happening? There is nothing to suggest it is my own code that is writing to those addresses... but of course it's hard to rule it out completely. A write watchpoint on that address also doesn't trigger.I notice the memory starts getting written to after the first and subsequent HW_IPCC_MAC_802_15_4_SendCmd() are called - ie: suggests CPU2 is responsible for this.We are using the 802.15.4 MAC wireless stack, v1.16.0.Wireless info: Memory view:
I have developed a device that joins lorawan in OTAA mode. I am testing the device and i am having some problems with conectivity.Device joined succesfully to Lorawan Network Server, i saved the NVM Lorawan context and i reset the device, after reset NVM Lorawan context is restored, but when i send a uplink message it is ignored by Network Server because the Device frame count is less than Network server frame count. My question is is there a way to save frame count in ROM memory and restore it in the LmHandler? Thanks in advance
recently I received STM32WL development kit. it based on STM32WL55.This is my First use case of Dual Core STM32 and I don't know how it working. My project didn't need Dual core. so I try using only one core but it seems not working my expectation. is there reference of data about how to use multicore STM32?
My development environment is stm32cubeMX and IAR.First of all, the configuration I programmed is like this.1. Init (write Status Register WP-E set 1)2. Block Erase (to the address where i will store the data)3. Write data to buffer4. Program Execute5. Load data (load data in physical memory page to data buffer)6. Read dataIf Delay is not used between 2 and 5, HAL_QSPI_Command_IT function is passed to Error_Handler.I want to make it work without this delay. If a delay is inserted or executed line by line, it operates normally without going over to Error_Handler.Are QSPI commands not usable consecutively?void Flash_Init(void){ sCommand.InstructionMode = QSPI_INSTRUCTION_1_LINE; sCommand.AddressSize = QSPI_ADDRESS_24_BITS; sCommand.AlternateByteMode = QSPI_ALTERNATE_BYTES_NONE; sCommand.DdrMode = QSPI_DDR_MODE_DISABLE; sCommand.SIOOMode = QSPI_SIOO_INST_EVE
Hello,I am using the STM32WB55CEU6 chip and while trying to check the functionality with the STM32CubeMonitor-RF I am getting the following error: "Device under test not responding COM port closed"Upgraded "stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_full_extended_fw.bin" and "P-NUCLEO-WB55.Nucleo -> BLE_TransparentMode"Normal operation was confirmed when the P-NUCLEO-WB55 board was powered up using the same procedure. Please advise if the procedure is wrong
However, when I ran the code on my custom board, I am not getting any data from the BLE. I am stuck at line hci_reset().I initialized the SPI and BLE but when I ran the debegger, I did not reach the line before hci_reset(); when I set the interrupt to PULL UP the CS pin always remains in the LOW state and when I set it to NO PULL the CS pin always remains in the HGHT state. I have attached my code below. Can anyone help me diagnose this problem?static uint8_t Sensor_DeviceInit(void){ uint8_t ret; //uint16_t service_handle, dev_name_char_handle, appearance_char_handle; //uint8_t device_name[] = {SENSOR_DEMO_NAME}; uint8_t hwVersion; uint16_t fwVersion; uint8_t bdaddr_len_out; uint8_t config_data_stored_static_random_address = 0x80; //Sw reset of the device static uint8_t Sensor_DeviceInit(void){ uint8_t ret; //uint16_t service_handle, dev_name_char_handle, appearance_char_handle; //uint8_t d
I know that "CFG_TASK_SW1_BUTTON_PUSHED_ID" was set in the header file (/app_conf.h), but just set, no morein the Datasheet the button for Nucleo board SW1 connected to a PC4 pin, but in CubeMX for project "p2p_server" I didn't find any mentions about the button SW1 so, How I can in the custom project to set the variable - "CFG_TASK_SW1_BUTTON_PUSHED_ID" for input PC4 or PC5for example, see the code here https://github.com/DavidStdio/STM32WB55_MEMS/blob/3036daab25fe711a5f2f7b37b1537f762bb832ea/Src/p2p_server_app.c
I design a custom board including a stm32wb15ccu where I want to use the I2C bus. I have for SDA and SCL 10k pull up resistors. However when launching i2c the signal of SDA and SCL remain at 3.3V, no bus signal. Hence I could not communicate between the MCU and its slaves. pin 5 is SCL and pin 6 is SDA. What I did so far to get the cause:Connected an external nucleo to the i2c pin headers , this worked perfectly fine. Resoldered the MCU chip multiple timesDesoldered the pull up resistors, if somewhere 3V3 is shorted to the i2c. What I found interesting when desoldered the pull up resistors the voltage of the i2c is still at 0.2V instead of zero. What I suppose a possible cause:Partly damage of the MCUDesign error, wrong pin selected for I2C on the WBTThanks in advance for any help
In the middle of function returns HAL_ERROR.stm32cubewl_v1-1-0 - the function works well.
I need detailed informations about registers and timers but i can't find the reference manual of the stm32wb5mm discovery board.
Hello, I'm practicing the "Point to Point Phy layer application lab" in the "MOOC STM32WL workshop" series. After downloading the material and opening the project with CubeIDE and building the project, everything is fine. however, when I try to add a peripheral like the I2C and generate the code, I always get a Board-Spesifications error. For example, The Macro "RF_FREQUENCY_ERROR" was defined before the regeneration of the code.I tried to delete the redundant files but it still doesn't work. i went around this by defining the peripheral manually and so far it's working, however it would be nicer and faster to have CubeMX working since the project is getting bigger.Thank you
I have flash Matter code from [ stm32-hotspot/stm32wb-matter-device-over-thread ] into STM32WB55 board.I have Matter Hub Device with OTBR, Command Line Chip-Tool and Android Mobile Chip-Tool Application is ready and functioning with other Matter End Devices. But I am not able to do commissioning with STM32WB55 device.I am attaching my Matter End Device console log.Kindly support me on this.
In my opinion there are two bugs HAL_RTC_SetTime(..) (p. 776) and HAL_RTC_GetTime(..) (p. 881)./* Check Binary mode ((32-bit free-running counter) */if (READ_BIT(RTC->ICSR, RTC_ICSR_BIN) != RTC_BINARY_ONLY)should be RTC_BINARY_ONLY instead of RTC_BINARY_NONE.
Hi, I am very new to this topic and facing some problems with my P-NUCLEO-WB55 i couldn't solve by myself...After previously flashing it with a simple program i've powered the board over the Vin and GND with an external power supply (max. 7-12V). Then I put the Jumper back on USB STL and connected it via USB to my Computer just as i also did earlier where it worked..after running even an empty program it says: "Target no device foundError in initializing ST-LINK device.Reason: No device found on target.Error in final launch sequence:Failed to execute MI command:target remote localhost:61234Error message from debugger back end:localhost:61234: Connection timed out.Failed to execute MI command:target remote localhost:61234Error message from debugger back end:localhost:61234: Connection timed out.localhost:61234: Connection timed out."I've already reinstalled the driver of the St-Link.Trying to connect via the STM32CubeProgrammer leads to the following error: " Error: No STM32 target foun
We have human interface board based on STM32WB55CG with planned possibility to communicated with other nodes via ZigBee. Now we have to pass the RF certification for which specific driver communicating with coprocessor was implemented. Most of commands sent to CM0+ running stm32wb5x_Phy_802_15_4_fw.bin are executed without any issues, but after sending "RX_start 1" UI and other threads start to respond with significant delay (e.g. UI scrolling works like 3x times slower). This behaviour continues even if send "RX_stop" or "InitLLD" to CM0+ core. Note that there is no CM0+ response printing (like it is done via UART in PHY CLI sample), driver dealing with coprocessor only sends commands and parses response. What can cause such a behaviour? Is it possible to configure IPCC or stm32wb5x_Phy_802_15_4_fw itself to avoid this side effect?
I have a project which has the requirement of BLE and USB in CDC mode. The implementation is done with the FreeRTOS. BLE and USB are working independently, but when I integrate both of them in a single project then there are some issues which are being faced mentioned below.Whenever the controller is programmed, then the USB is enumerating and it is working properly. During this, the BLE is not advertising. When there is a reboot triggered, the USB device is not recognized but the BLE is advertising.APPE_SysUserEvtRx callback function is not triggered from the shci_init function. The event to trigger this function is not generated.Microcontroller - STM32WB55VGYXUsing the BLE full stack v1.15 with the FUS v1.2.0USB is using the PLLSAI1Q clock source with the frequency of 48MHz.CPU2 is operating with the frequency of 32MHz.Main core is operating at 64MHz frequency.
I am using the STM32WLE5CC ship on a RAK3172 module.I am not using the HAL but writing directly to the PKA RAM and registers, to perform a standard Modular Exponention (normal mode) as described in section 22.4.6 of the manual. The PKA clock has been enabled for normal and sleep mode.I write the exponent and exponent length, the operand and operand length, and the modulus to the PKA RAM, ensuring I am ending with a 32 bit word set to zero as described by section22.4.1.I set the PKA Control Register "Start" bit, after ensuring that the "mode" has been set to zero (Montgomery parameter computation then modular exponentiation) and the enable flag is still set. After setting the start bit in the CR, the "Busy" bit in the status register goes high, as expected.I poll the status register every 10 microseconds, waiting for it to change - the Busy bit should go to 0 and the PROCENF flag should go high, but it never changes, even after several hours.I can read back the registers and RAM and they
HiI am testing SUBGHZ with STM32WL55I activated IPCC of System Core and SUBGHZ of Connectivity.and then I enabled SUBGHZ_PHY of Middleware and Software PacksI generated code and compiled. When I run the program, it halted. It enter the Error_Handler in the if statement ( if (OptionsBytesStruct.IPCCdataBufAddr != (uint32_t) pMb_RefTable) ) of the MBMUXIF_SystemInit function.I don't know why.Can you explain why the program go into Error_Handler.and can you tell me how to make the program work normally?I attach the ioc file.
Hi,in my application on STM32WL55, when the CPU1 (CM4) is on STANDBY mode, and the CPU2 (CM0PLUS) is in Run mode, how can i ask the CPU2 to wakeup the CPU1 ?Thank you.

If you Download the System view Desciption fo the stm32wb series there is no file for the STM32WB5M. Will it be added later or how could I find it?
Hello,I want to send a message from the STM32WB55 Nucleo-64 development kit to the ST BLE Toolbox smartphone app using BLE, something like "Hello World", but so far I haven't been able to find many resources for that specific task. I'm wondering if this is even possible, and if so, would someone be able to give me any guidance on achieving this task?
HiI want to do FSK communication using STM32WL55.Each version I have installed is listed below.Firwmare : STM32Cube_FW_WL_V1.3.0.STM32CubeMX : 6.8.0STM32CubeIDE : 1.12.0It seems that the settings etc. have changed a lot from when firmware version 1.1 was used. Previously it was a single core setup, but the current version is a dual core setup. Please find example code for fsk communication with dual core configuration.Thank you.
Hello,I'm trying to create a test application based on the SubGHz_Phy_Per RX example that will go into stop mode after initialization and wake up on EXTI line for an Rx window and then go back to stop mode.I want to base my test application on the Sequencer, LPM, Timer and Trace utilities that come with STM32Cube_FW_WL_V1.3.0I'm looking for a similar example or guidance as I'm not succeeded to implement such a functionality.
