Hello,I am configuring ScrollWheel on touchgfx. In order to select an option, I need to click on ScrollWheel. In order to browse all the options, I need to drag on ScrollWheel. So, I need both handleClickEvent() and handleDragEvent(). I also need to differentiate between a Click and a Drag action. But, upon drag action, my program control goes in handleClickEvent() only. It never reaches handleDragEvent() function. Please suggest how can I detect Drag event?
Dear Sir,I am using TouchGFX tools 4.9.3 and 4.10.0.After I download project template, I am tring to build TouchGFX application using Visual Studio Express 2013.On referencing, I changed Platform toolset from v141 to v120 for VS 2013.But, there is problem for tring to building application code on Visual Studio Exress 2013.Error message on TouchGFX 4.9.3 in below;Error 1 error : ../../assets/images/Thumbs.db not supported by image converter D:\TouchGFX-projects\4.9.3\F769DiscoSliderExample\simulator\msvs\EXEC ApplicationError 2 error MSB3073: The command ""..\..\touchgfx\\framework\tools\imageconvert\build\msvs\ImageConvert.exe" -dither 2 -alpha_dither yes -non_opaque_image_format ARGB8888 -opaque_image_format RGB888 -r "..\..\assets\images" -w "..\..\generated\images"" exited with code -1. Hi.I am using the uart on the touchgfx project on the stm32f746-disco board, but when I continue the uart interrupts, I get stuck. There were two cases of stuck state.1. Screen stops but uart is running2. Board is completely frozenThe uart interrupt code I created seems to be wrong and I am not sure how to fix it and I need help.I am currently switching four 480 * 272 screens every 4 seconds using only the resources that the 746disco board has, and I am in the process of testing qspi MemoryMappedMode.Ethernet does not cause any problems when sending and receiving data in 100ms increments. In case of uart, the board is stopped after a certain period of time even though data is transmitted much slower.Below is the uart code that I use.The reason for this is that the interruption of the uart HAL library, which works normally in other projects, is not responding to the projects ported by touchgfx. This is only a problem with rx interrupts. In case of tx, I am using polling method instead
I've configured bank1 FSMC to drive a LCD using CubeMx copying the various example code. I've set up FSMC-A18 to be the pin driving the Control/Data selection on the LCD. All data lines + OE and WR work perfectly but A18 sits continuously low whether I write to REG or RAM. I can't see in the examples how this is supposed to work as I can't find any code that sets whether it should be high for data/low for control or visa versa. The pin itself works fine if I drive it direct. This is my first use of FSMC and I'm clearly missing something - help appreciatedI can attach code and CubeMX images if that helps diagnose
How to implement message notification reminders, for example, in different interface can remind the user.
Porting the basic JPEG_DecodingUsingFs_DMA from Discovery to custom hardware and I'm failing with the hardware JPEG decoder. The image decodes fine with the software decoder in STemWin and although I seem to be getting the HAL_JPEG_IRQHandler interrupt which indicates the header is ready, HAL_JPEG_GetInfo reads all zeros. All initialisation is from CubeMX so of course I'm using the HAL library but I'm wondering if Cube is missing something - maybe initialising in a different order? The same image decodes fine on the Discovery board by the way...Hopefully this rings a bell with someone.
I'm trying to connect stm32f103c8t6 board with ILI9325 LCD display. I have created a driver for it in Atollic TrueStudio and run it successfully. Now, I am trying to transfer the driver to the Arduino IDE, because here it will be easier to integrate my code with the other code for this project. However, the driver doesn't work in Arduino IDE. The LCD is just blank.I have tested the basic GPIO operation in Arduino IDE for stm32f1, it works fine. I have checked the pins on the LCD. They seem to receive command from the board. All the wiring is correct, because the screen works with the code from Atollic without any wiring change. This is the driver code I use in Arduino IDE. It's basically the same as the one in Atollic. All I changed is the functions of initializing and setting GPIO.#define LCD_RESET_Pin 9 #define LCD_CS_Pin 8 #define LCD_RS_Pin 7 #define LCD_WR_Pin 6 #define LCD_RD_Pin 5 #define TFT_W 320 #define TFT_H 240 #define WHITE 0xFFFF #define BLACK
I'm trying to test this Ui example for STM32F469, from this sitehttps://touchgfx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/205074561-Connecting-the-UI-to-your-systemMethod 2 - From other taskthe simulation on my PC works fine, but when I'm trying to run on my screen/STM32F469, the screen goes crazy, My TouchGFX version is 4.10Please help me to fix thisThank you
When we've moved from the development board to our own, custom hardware, we've started to look at the power consumption of our system as a whole. Obviously, the rendering process makes up a considerable part of our power budget. When we've performed some rudimentary benchmarks on power consumption, it looks like the touchgfx application draws power even though we're not rendering any new stuff on the screen (which, by the way, is not using any touch controller HW or SW).Moreover, when touchgfx is running, the power consumption seems constant - regardless of what's being updated on the screen. The only significant variable to power consumption seems to be the framerate.(When blocking the touchgfx application from executing altogether, we save about 50mA on our STM32F769 MCU.)Now, I know touchgfx is only supposed to update the parts of the framebuffer that have changed from frame to frame. But how is the touchgfx backend oriented for power efficiency? Are there any useful rules of thumb in
I didn't find “dynamic_bitmap_example“ in TouchGFX
Hello,I am currently trying to load a very simple TouchGFX (v 4.10.0) project to my STM32F469i-discovery (just a scene with a white background, a text and a button). I created my project using CubeMX (v 5.1.0) and I was able to compile it, the screen just show the scene in the right way, but the problem is that the Touch Screen is not working. So I noticed that the file: {ProjectRoot}\TouchGFX\target\OTM8009TouchController.cpp had some commented code, which I think i need to de-comment in order to let the Touch Screen works. The problem is that I need to include the BSP drivers which I have in an external folder on my computer: C:\users\username\STM32Cube\Repository\STM32Cube_FW_F4_V1.24.0\Drivers\BSP\STM32469I-DiscoveryI tried to add a "#include <stm32469i_discovery_ts.h>" after including the external folder into Project -> Build Settings -> C/C++ Build -> C Compiler -> Directories, but it continued to give me some errors (it could not found a reference to ft6x06_ts_d
I'm trying to get OV5642 Arducam camera module to send data to STM32F429 (Discovery DISC1 board), I am using hardware synchronization. Could you tell me what is the difference between two DCMI interrupts: IT_FRAME and IT_VSYNC? I had trouble understanding this from reference manual: "IT_FRAME - Indicates the end of frame capture, IT_VSYNC - Indicates the synchronization frame". What is synchronization frame, is it connected somehow with embedded synchronization? What does this interrupt mean if I'm using hardware synchronization?Knowing that these two interrupts probably appear after every frame I was expecting to see same amount of them. In fact, IT_VSYNC shows much more often than IT_FRAME. Additionally, amount of IT_VSYNC interrupts seems to be reasonable, compared to IT_LINE interrupts it is consistent with expected image vertical size. But why IT_FRAME interrupt is not shown after every IT_VSYNC interrupt?
Hello,I tried following a few links from ST on integrating Touchgfx with Keil (other IDEs).I am specificaly looking for steps to integrate Touchgfx generated code with Keil.I followed this link : https://touchgfx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360019884752but got stuck at the step " Add missing BSP files and update Linker scripts" . Particularly trying to find the Keil equivalent of EWARM\stm32f746xx_flash.icf. Skipping the step did not work either.Has anyone been able to successfully integrate code generated by Touchgfx with Keil so far?Thank you.
Hi,I am working on DCMI interface of STM32f407VGT micro controller to connect external device(not camera). And i am trying to get data from external device using 8-bit parallel data lines and PIXCLK frequency as 6.3MHz. Also providing H SYNC and V SYNC Signals as Hardware Synchronization.Always i am getting data from external device(Parallel) but initial data is missing .So how can i get proper data from external device without losing initial data. Here is my configuration and Initialization code.//GPIO Configuration/**DCMI GPIO Configuration PE4 ------> DCMI_D4 PE5 ------> DCMI_D6 PE6 ------> DCMI_D7 PA4 ------> DCMI_HSYNC PA6 ------> DCMI_PIXCK PC6 ------> DCMI_D0 PC7 ------> DCMI_D1 PC8 ------> DCMI_D2 PC9 &nb
I have a display with 600 x 1024 pixels (portrait) and some screens with a full sized images as background. For changing screens, I use the in the TouchGFX Designer (4.10) included action "Change Screen", transition "Slide" and transition direction "East".The transitions between the screens is not fluently and jerks. How to avoid this? Are there any examples with such a scenario?
Says in the title, where can i find the flag to remove warnings treated as errors
My current project needs multiple screens connected by sliding, so i'm using swipe container to contains the changing contents through slides, i also need to see in which screen i am, so Page indicator is perfect for that. The problem is i need a button to return to the first page, but i need that the first page is the middle one, like when sliding through pages on a smartphone. So, is it possible to change the slide configuration? Actually i have 5 slides, so layout is 12345 and the button takes me to slide 1, i need something like -2-1012 and button that take me to 0.Thanks in advance for any advice
Is stm32F207ZGTx support TouchGFX.
Hello!I am working on to integrate a BMP180 sensor with my stm32f769i discovery board. The goal would be to read temperature and air pressure values and show these values on the screen. I have written the driver code in C for the bmp180 and it's working fine on other boards that doesn't use touchgfx, freertos, cpp. But it isn't working on stm32f769i with touchgfx on it.I tried to use: extern "C"{ #include "bmp180.h"}But I get the following error:Linking TouchGFX/build/bin/target.elfTouchGFX/build/ST/STM32F769I-DISCO/Core/Src/main.o: In function `main':c:\TouchGFXProjects\HWButton/Core/Src/main.cpp:153: undefined reference to `BMP180_Init(__I2C_HandleTypeDef*, unsigned char)'collect2.exe: error: ld returned 1 exit statusgcc/Makefile:330: recipe for target 'TouchGFX/build/bin/target.elf' failedmake[2]: *** [TouchGFX/build/bin/target.elf] Error 1gcc/Makefile:326: recipe for target 'generate_assets' failedmake[1]: *** [generate_assets] Error 2../gcc/Makefile:45: recip
Hi everybody. It's possible, to use ARM/MBED Library's with TouchGFX.I have one of the STM32F469I-DISCO boards, and i like to use I2C small modules made for arduino, for example ANI219, and this libraryhttps://os.mbed.com/users/maximusismax/code/INA219/1. How can i include this library to Touchgfx 2. How can i call "Display Voltage" , "Display Current"Thank you very much in advance

I'm getting errors (image attached) reporting that characters are not part of the typographics. For both fonts reported i have a range of 0x20-0x7e entered for wildcard range (also shown in attached image)Cant run simulator or target while in this mode, what am I missing?
Hi,all!I'm trying to use touchGFX to index all charaters in a self-make TFT type file.While I found that touchGFX designer trans differnt charater into different "C" code length array as the following ://---------font type in -20_4bpp----that created by touchGFX----Roboto condensed Regular----------- // Unicode: [0x0029, parenright] 0x48, 0x00, 0x00, 0xF6, 0x03, 0x00, 0xC0, 0x0C, 0x00, 0x40, 0x5F, 0x00, 0x00, 0xBE, 0x00, 0x00, 0xFA, 0x01, 0x00, 0xF7, 0x05, 0x00, 0xF4, 0x08, 0x00, 0xF3, 0x0A, 0x00, 0xF1, 0x0B, 0x00, 0xF1, 0x0C, 0x00, 0xF1, 0x0B, 0x00, 0xF2, 0x0A, 0x00, 0xF4, 0x08, 0x00, 0xF6, 0x05, 0x00, 0xFA, 0x01, 0x00, 0xCE, 0x00, 0x40, 0x5F, 0x00, 0xB0, 0x0D, 0x00, 0xF5, 0x03, 0x00, 0x58, 0x00, 0x00, // Unicode: [0x002A, asterisk] 0x00, 0xB0, 0x0A, 0x00, 0x00, 0xB0, 0x09, 0x00, 0x43, 0xA0, 0x09, 0x15, 0xF8, 0xDD, 0xDC, 0x6F, 0x30, 0xF9, 0x8F, 0x03, 0x00, 0xE8, 0x4F, 0x00, 0x30, 0x5F, 0xE9, 0x00,
Which image formats does TouchGFX support? Because if I reduce the size of a PNG image, it loses quality. Or is there a better way to reduce the size of a PNG image other than using Paint?
I have start to interfacing a TFT module which have RA8875L3N driver .Please share its library (API) if anybody have its library or anybody had work on such series of LCD DRIVER.
