Is it possible to save only 8-bit from 32bit DCMI Data Register in internal SRAM?

What do you mean by save only 8-bit ? to transfer data using DMA ?

You have this AN5020 Application note Digital camera interface (DCMI) for STM32 MCUs that may helps you on the DCMI configuration.
