Hi,When using the 'setAction' function of the class Button, why can't I pass a callback object taking one more parameter than just the "const touchgfx::AbstractButtonContainer&"?Here's my CallBack object with its corresponding handler function:Callback<NumpadBis, const touchgfx::AbstractButtonContainer&, const int> _keyPressed; void keyPressedHandler(const touchgfx::AbstractButtonContainer& src, const int); And this doesn't work:aKey->setAction(_keyPressed);While it works just fine if I remove the "int" param.
Hi Guys,I am referring this application note on your website for understanding Octal spi interface on STM32L4R9I-EVAL board.I have an EVK with the LCD display and wanted to know if there are any example codes for Sections 4.1.1 or 4.1.2.I can stitch different pieces of codes codes if there is no ready made examples.Any help would be appreciated. I want to evaluate the benefits of using HyperRAM in these applicationsRegards,Nilesh
Hello!I try to create project with CubeMX 5.0.1 and TouchGFX Designer for Keil 5I have done all steps as written in this tutorial https://touchgfx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021620431-Configuring-STM32F429I-DISCOBut when I try to complie project in Keil 5, I have many errors*** Using Compiler 'V5.06 update 4 (build 422)', folder: 'D:\Keil_v5\ARM\ARMCC\Bin'Build target '429'linking...429\429.axf: Error: L6654E: Rejected Local symbol .text7 referred to from non group member Application.o(.iar.stackusage)429\429.axf: Error: L6654E: Rejected Local symbol .text9 referred to from non group member Application.o(.iar.stackusage)429\429.axf: Error: L6654E: Rejected Local symbol .text11 referred to from non group member Application.o(.iar.stackusage)429\429.axf: Error: L6654E: Rejected Local symbol .text13 referred to from non group member Application.o(.iar.stackusage).......102 errors totalThis is the project filesHelp me to make project (compile and linking)
I am starting a project from scratch using STM32CubeIDE (new STM32 Project), I select my 32F429Discovery board and select Initialize all periph to defaults. When the project opens in cubeMX, there is an error in the clock settings, and the graphics middleware is disabled. So I fix the clock and I enable the STemWin graphics framework on the LTDC interface. Then I try to generate the code, it tells me I have errors in the graphics platform settings which I'm still trying to figure out why I need those BSP settings and what they are, when the board is using the LTDC. I had a project in a previous version of CubeMX that didn't have those settings, and my project worked just fine.So I just ignore this part and I generate the code, but when I build, I get a bunch of undefinded references to the STemWin Library functions in the STemwin_wrapper.c file. The old project had a ".a" file in "/middlewares/st/stemwin/lib" which is missing in the new one. The lib file is also missing from the linker li
Hi,I'm not sure how I should go about designing a widget class that can be reused in various projects? Say I want to create a keyboard class (container?) that can be easily imported in all my projects that need one, how should design it?Thanks in advance.
I am setting new LCD screen with parallel 8080 protocol ( screen controller is SSD1351 ), I am using ST CubeMX to generate code for fmc ( attached picture of the configuration ). My problem is when I try to write command my D0-D7 is always 0 and my D/C, WR and RD behaving wired, I think it is related with some configuration or incorrect way to send the command.ST CubeMX configuration: https://i.stack.imgur.com/LFwSG.pngFMC init code:/* FMC initialization function */static void MX_FMC_Init(void){ FMC_NORSRAM_TimingTypeDef Timing; /** Perform the SRAM1 memory initialization sequence */ hsram1.Instance = FMC_NORSRAM_DEVICE; hsram1.Extended = FMC_NORSRAM_EXTENDED_DEVICE; /* hsram1.Init */ hsram1.Init.NSBank = FMC_NORSRAM_BANK1; hsram1.Init.DataAddressMux = FMC_DATA_ADDRESS_MUX_DISABLE; hsram1.Init.MemoryType = FMC_MEMORY_TYPE_SRAM; hsram1.Init.MemoryDataWidth = FMC_NORSRAM_MEM_BUS_WIDTH_8; hsram1.Init.BurstAccessMode = FMC_BURST_ACCESS_MODE_DISABLE; hsram1.Init.WaitSignalPolarity = FM
Hi,In my system I have 2 devices connected over CAN bus (one on F746, second on F205), and F746 runs a TouchGFX application (800x600x16bpp) with 2 lightweight screens; FreeRTOS and SysTick configured to 100Hz. My problem is that image on screen may suddenly trembling (moves <-->), if CAN bus connected. If I disconnect second device trembling will stop. If I increase size of data transfer over CAN bus then screen picture trembling will increase. Sometimes only the random horizontal part of the screen shakes. The time during which the band is offset is approximately 1 frame or 17-20 ms. I watched LTDC rgb gpio outputs, and noticed that they changes too, so its not a synch lost. I think this is due to interruption priority (CAN and DMA2D/LTDC), but changing priority doesnt make an effect.
Hi,Greetings to everyone here!I am new to STM32 HAL Programming and I have tried some example codes on System Workbench for STM32 (SW4STM32) IDE. Recently I got a STM3220G-EVAL Board and I'm trying to interface Touchscreen LCD with it (It has STM32F207 microcontroller on it). The LCD controller I am using is SSD1963 (864x480) LCD Display Control.Could anyone please suggest me how to Interface STM32F2XX (STM3220G-eval) or STM32F4XX with SSD1963 (864x480) LCD Display Control? As am new to HAL LCD programming so if someone has a dummy code, please do share that with me. That would be a great help.ThanksMohd Tanveer

Since version 4.10 TouchGFX needs the crc clock enabled to check if it runs on a STM32 MCU.This worked fine for us so far.Now we are adding other functionality to the application that require the use of the HW-CRC module.Depending on how we configure the CRC module, we seem to run into some hardfault from within the TouchGFX initialization. Please give us some information what TouchGFX will need to run. Will TouchGFX do its checks only once or repeatedly?
Hi all,I tried to start a new project (from zero) in STM32CubeIDE with STM32F746DISCO board base, but I get errors in TouchGFX Generation Code when I Execute from CubeIDE, in the begginings...I could get working the new STM32CubeIDE and TouchGFX importing my working code from TrueStudio, but starting from zero no..Any tip about this error or about the new IDE?
I want to change my text in a text-area between different languages. My chinese text have an other font as my english text for example.Unfortunately this works not. I can only change text within the chinese font or change within the english font. When i select a chinese text in the text area which was a english text before, then it will be displayed strange symbols (but not chinese :( ).The same problem I have with alignment. When I have a text with alignment left and I want to change the text with now alignment right, then my new text has unfortunately left-alignment.
Hi everyone,i would remove or add a object in a scroll listI try to useparamScroll.remove(*paramScrollListItems.getDrawable(0)); paramScroll.add(*paramScrollListItems.getDrawable(5));but it don't work.paramScrollListItems is a DrawableListItems. How can i do this function in a scroll list?
I have created a simple project. So far only has 3 screens, each a box filling the screen of different colours. I simply use 'Interactions' to toggle between each screen every 2 seconds. On start-up the complete screen is drawn. On each subsequent screen change only the left 3rd of the screen is re-drawn, leaving the right quarter the same as on start-up.The simulator does not have this issue.

Hi, I'm using a stm32f769i_discovery development kit , I made an app with touchgfx and programed it through the st-link(with all the part of the extrnal loader thing) and everything is good , and now I want to try program the hex file application through rs232 bootloader and not through the st-link. Is it possible ? ,how do the bootloader handle the extrnal flash ?Or there is another recommended way to perform application boot through the rs232?thanks Touchgfx 4.10stm32f769i_discoveryIAR
I am trying to use STM32CubeIDE for with STM32F429i DISC1 for generating code with TouchGFX enabled in Device configuration tool. I have configured Touchgfx options as shown below. After clicking EXECUTE button in touchgfx tab, touchgfx window opens. In touchgfx, while trying to Generate code I am getting error. I have attached output_PostGenerate.log fileAfter closing TouchGFX, when i am trying to build project i am getting following errors.18:48:16 **** Incremental Build of configuration Debug for project T2 ****make -j4 all arm-none-eabi-gcc "../Src/stm32f4xx_it.c" -mcpu=cortex-m4 -std=gnu11 -g3 -DUSE_HAL_DRIVER -DDEBUG -DSTM32F429xx -c -I../Middlewares/Third_Party/FreeRTOS/Source/include -I../TouchGFX/gui/include -I../TouchGFX/generated/fonts/include -I../Drivers/BSP/Components/exc7200 -I../Drivers/BSP/Components/ts3510 -I../Drivers/BSP/Components/stmpe811 -I../Drivers/STM32F4xx_HAL_Driver/Inc -I../TouchGFX/generated/texts/include -I../Drivers/CMSIS/Device/ST/STM32F4xx/Include -I../S
Hi all I want to know where should I use QSPI function?TouchGFX has initialized QSPI but it doesn't callFor my demo project my STM32H743eval LCD only onBut image not showing. How to solve this?
FatFS entry does not appear in [data stream management type] in [Libjpeg] in CuebeMX 5.2.Items appear normally in CubeMX 5.1
Hi professors,I am using STM32H743 with my development board, and I am trying to build a Interrupt for the touch function, codes are down below.By the way, the code is generated by TouchGFX and Board STM32H743I_EVAL.Pin definedInterrupt function in C++ fileThis is the detecting pin functionLast is my test interrupt is break in or not.I tried a lot but it didn`t work.Is there any one can help?Thank you!
Hi, I am working on a project where we will be using a STM32F429 device.I am using the discovery board for prototyping and testing a few LCD related routines. I am using STEMWIN library with FreeRTOS to create UIs.As the discovery board has an external SDRAM on it hence the LTDC frame buffers reside on the external SDRAM memory and STEMWIN is configured accordingly. My Questions mostly are regarding STEMWIN which are as follows:1. When I select multiple buffers in cube mx, does STEMWIN allocate all the buffers in the external memory?2. When I use a function from STEMWIN which allocates memory at run time (like JPEG or PNG decoding, or for memory devices) where is that memory allocated? If it is allocated on the internal RAM is there any way I can configure the library to use external memory?3. How should I decide my FreeRTOS GUI task memory requirements? I faced a few issues to display widgets when my task stack size was small (128 Bytes) it was fixed when I increased it to around
Hi all. Here I am started the integration of the Digital Camera interface. I am thinking to start with the STM32L476RG-Nucleo. Is it supportable? Please suggest me with proper MCU to use to do the integration of the DCMI with STM32. Thanks you,
Helloyesterday I heard at the webinar that the touchgfx is for F4 Mcu.Now i want to connect a 3,5" touchscreen to a nucleo-F446Re board.STM32CubeIde with MX 5.2 shows me no touchgfx in the middle ware.(Iam serching a Nucleo64 with mcu that is TouchGFX able and has a Canbus.best regards w
Hello,Is there a way to change the color of a botton directly from the code? Thanks.
Hello,How can I convert a Unicode::UnicodeChar* to a double ? I've only found the function "atoi" to convert it to an 'int'. And also, how can I display a double in a textArea as such :Unicode::snprintf(textArea1Buffer, 10, "%f", 2.5);Thanks in advance!
