Why is it not possible to insert a button instead of adding this button with add() ?I need to place it in a specific Z position
..
I am building an adapter board to go from the 48-position, .7mm pitch ZIF connector on the STM32F429I-DISC1 Discovery Board to a 41-position, .5mm pitch ZIF connector on my LCD. With this adapter board I can quickly prototype using the Discovery board and a different style LCD.I need the part number and a place to purchase that 48-position ZIF connector. Can someone look up the bill of materials for this board and share that part number? Thanks,DLH
I am using the STM32F469 discovery board to learn about UI, so I am not very experienced. I have followed tutorials which allowed me to successfully build a project using STM32CubeIDE along side ToughGFX. Next I use the debug tool and the process seems to be successful in terms of STM32CubeIDE as no errors occur and the phrase "Download verified successfully". However, the board does not display anything on the screen. The board just turns on LED1-LED4, and the COM LED on the back flickers green and red.Does anyone know what the source of my problem is, or the general area I should be looking into? Cheers
Hi I buy a STM32F4 discovery board, and I run example from ST offical github. The Project in STM32CubeF4-master\Projects\STM32F429I-Discovery\Examples\BSP (IDE: MDK-ARM), I think the LCD will show some string, but I got some salt noise.Other LCD examples, ex DMA2D, it works good.Any suggest? Thanks
I see that in G0 G4 Folder STM32Cube\Repository\STM32Cube_FW_G0_V1.3.0\Middlewares\ST STemWin is missing. I wonder if there is a reason for that, ie does it still work? (CRC hardware lock ok?)
Hi, I'm getting transfer error from DMA interrupt by the attempt to get image from the DCMI. Already lost some days on that and don't know what could be the problem. I've tested successfully the camera and the initialization code in STM32F429-DISCO and NUCLEO-F207 boards. But as far as I have researched the H7 have some challenging diferences in comparison with "F" families (now using an NUCLEO-H743ZI), like DMAMUX wich the CubeMx and the HAL library already generates the corresponding code. I've found some similar questions (bus matrix/routing) and implemented the solution the but still not working. I've disabled the ICache and the DCache too. And these are very important links indeed:https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X00009cfCGLSA2/dma-transfer-error-in-stm32h7-dcmi.https://community.st.com/s/article/FAQ-DMA-is-not-working-on-STM32H7-devices The program pass only once for the DMA1_Stream7_IRQHandler and returns indicating
Hi,I am using STM32F778AI with FMC SDRAM and MIPI-DSI for screen. Before adding touchgfx SDRAM, DSI , Systick worked. After adding touchgfx it stopped working and stuck on HAL_Delay because Systick don't enter to interrupt.Any help ?David
I’m creating a waveform widget in TouchGFX, but unsure how best to loop the waveform back to zero at the end because there are three frame buffers so you have to invalidate over an area three times or you get flickering . How would you handle looping the array back to start (x=0).The main issue is my code originally assumed there was only one frame buffer. I think my code needs to be refactored for three framebuffers or add the ability to write directly to the frame buffer. Any hints would be greatly appreciated. bool Graph::drawCanvasWidget(const Rect& invalidatedArea) const {if (numPoints < 3){ // A graph line with a single (or not even a single) point is invisible return true;}else{Canvas canvas(this, invalidatedArea); for (int index = 0; index < (numPoints-1); index++){ canvas.moveTo(points[index].x,points[index].y); canvas.lineTo(points[index].x,points[index+1].y); canvas.lineTo(points[index+1].x,points[index+1].y); canvas.lineTo(points[index+1].x,points[index].y);
I have searched around this forum and the internet, without finding a solution. The Alignment setting in the designer does not help. I want the text (5 digit integer) to be right justified with no leading zeroes. Latest version of ToughGFX and Cube. Thanks
After compilation, I cannot program STM. An error appears. Why?make: *** No rule to make target 'Middlewares/STemWin/GUI_X_OS.o', needed by 'sterownik.elf'. Stop.19:15:33 Build Finished (took 6s.179ms)
It appears that not all declared methods are implemented in the provided header and source files. Some methods like HAL::flushFrameBuffer, are apparently implemented only in the core static libraries. Is there any plan to release the source code of these libraries?
Hello.Run Target Keyboard Example with TouchGFXIn the case of F746G Discovery, it is displayed normally. In the case of F769I Discovery, the keyboard is displayed small. Is there a problem with TouchGFX?Thank you.
Hello.STM32F769I-DISCO has two QSPI FLASH.What are the roles of U12 and U250 in the circuit diagram?Thank you.
Hello,I'm trying to setup a simple example on my STM32F429I-discovery board, but i'm experiencing issues with some graphics (images).I had setup CubeMX using this guide : https://touchgfx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021620431-Configuring-STM32F429I-DISCOAs you can see on the picture above, the text is displayed fine, but the background image and the button are corrupted. However, LCD seems to work properly, because the text is correctly rendered.I'm using EWARM 8.22.2 and the lastest versions of TouchGFX and CubeMX. The project compiles fine.
Hello there,I have a custom board for STM32F429BIT6 and want to setup a 7inch AT070TN94 LCD in STM32Cube. I checked all the manuals and learning on the web, almost all of them are about Discovery boards with some special LCDs and drivers. So I started on my self to see if I can make it work, but there is no response. Here what I did:FMC configurations for SDRAM (W9825G6JH-6) as picture.DMA2D configurations as picture.LTDC configuration as below:Finally I did enable CRC and set the clock on 180MHz.I haven't enable STemwin or TouchGFX yet, I want to setup the LCD itself first and I expect LCD turn on in Red (as background set), but it's not working like that.Tanx for you answers
I am planning to interface a STM32H753XI to a 1400x480 display. Here is the reference manual. Now, the maximum resolution given for the STM is 1024x728. I understand that this is the maximum frequency the device can actually output. Now my desired horizontal resolution exceeds the controllers 1024 pixels. I checked with the registers and they support 11 bit values (so everything up to 2047). Has anyone tried to interface a display with a larger horizontal resolution to an STM? Are the horizontal and vertical pixels a hard limit or is the combined pixel clock frequency the actual limit?
My touchgfx task is often frozen. I need to add a watchdog to the touchgfx task. When the task is frozen, the system can restart automatically. How to add a watchdog in Touchgfx task? Thanks.
Hi,I have a question when trying to change screen by click different buttons. There are 5 buttons on Screen 1, and Screen 2 have 5 similar but different styles. When Screen 1 - Button 1 was clicked, goto Screen 2 and showed in style 1.My mind to do this is define a variable member in Model, and set the value by Screen1View->Screen1Presenter->Model->setValue, and then in setupScreen of Screen 2 to get value by Screen2View->Screen2Presenter->Model->getValue, and then initialize the style. It worked OK!But the buttons in Screen 1 is to simple, I want to add some other elements (text, icon, background, ...) to button. So I used user container. The container includes all elements I want, and a button with tranparent image on the top level. Set a button clicked callback method, in which, set the value in model. The problem is that model mothods can only called by presenter, and presenter can only accessed by viewer. So I can't set the style value in container method.Any
Hi, I encounter a problem to continuously display a physiological waveform through the subclass of CanvasWidget class developed. The dots on the line were added to an FIFO buffer in the subclass within the handleTickEvent() function of the view, then invalidate the corresponding rectangular area with InvalidateRec() function, the drawCanvasWidget() virtual function was reimplementation in the subclass to draw the lines with canvas render class. But as show in the picture, the lines near to the right border of the widget would flicking continuously. Is there a good way to solve the flicking problem ? Suggestion is needed here.
hi everyone. I have a screen what has a many elements inside. Therfore, screen has very long kode that difficult to control. I want to group some of this code in another cpp files. This new cpp file should be like original screenView.cpp. I want to write code in this file for configurate widgets that in the screenbase. I should be access everything inside screenbase.hpp. Especially, I want to override action functions in screenbase.hpp with this file.I create a new class that based on screenview class. I thought it would work but it didn't.I'm pretty new at c++. Maybe this is too easy or impossible. I don't know. Forgive if i'm wrong. Thank you for answer already. :)
