Hi ,When i use the scrollwheel/scrollList , i found that the last item would go to the top. Can ScrollWheel/ScrollList items always distribute on the full scrollable display page?As the following picture shows : Normally when dragging to the buttom , the house icon will go to the top position "NO 1" , how can last item always sticking on the buttom position "NO 3"?
Hello There,I am trying to connect OV9655 camera (WaveShare) module with STm32f4 discovery board. After generating files from CubeMX and importing ov9655 drivers (ov9655.h & ov9655.c) I am able to get HAL_DCMI_LineEventCallback and HAL_DCMI_VsyncEventCallback event but not able to get HAL_DCMI_FrameEventCallback.I am using Snapshot mode BSP_CAMERA_Init(RESOLUTION_R320x240); HAL_Delay(1000);HAL_DCMI_Start_DMA(&hdcmi, DCMI_MODE_SNAPSHOT, (uint32_t)CAMERA_FRAME_BUFFER, GetSize((uint8_t *)RESOLUTION_R320x240));Please suggest where I am making mistake. Hello!I repost my question here as I posted it in an answer yesterday and it didnt get effective.Thank to hansd empty project I manage to begin my project and conceive my GUI:https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X0000AntXX2SQM/simpliest-ide-to-configure-with-touchgfx-and-stm32cubemxIt seems that using the integrated or standalone CubeMX doesn't mess up the project. Also, I succedeed in importing the project under AtollicTrueSTUDIO in order to see the difference between the IDEs.I followed hands56's link in order to configure the QSPI:https://touchgfx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360019884752-Configuring-STM32F746G-DISCOI followed as well this tuto to configure the linker under CubeIDE (I think that is it the same as AtollicTrueSTUDIO):https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X0000AIeS5CSQV/stm32cubemx-touchgfx-atollic-how-to-setup-the-qspi-external-flash-All is building perfectly and when I look at the Build Analyzer, I can see the ExtFlashSection and my assets under QUAD
HelloI have a TFT_LCD 5.7 inch. I want start up it with STM32F429Discovery but I have a problem according to the LCD datasheet I have to set Vsync (Front-Porch) = 4.5 TH (Hsync Period). But I can't give float numbers to the LTDC registers. LCD datasheet attached. Please help me if anyone can.

Hello,ST announced, they will not attend to Emdedded world 2020. What about touchgfx guys? Will you participate the exhibition? if no, is there any person from touchgfx as a visitor. if yes, can we meet them at exhibition area to answer our questions?Best regards,Murat
If I call the function with the button from the STM32F746G-DISCO screen, e.g. a counter, do I have to use FreeRTOS to display the value of the counter on the screen?
Dear all, After I made a project with CubeMX 5.5 and checked a Graphics Application to use TouchGFX. Other all settings was good, I think. And then I did "GENERATE CODE" and I got ApplicationTemplate.touchgfx.part file. But this file cannot be open with TouchGFX 4.13.Error Message is like "Object reference not set to an instance of an object". ( I translated it in English.)Could you let me know about the reason and give me a right solution?(The attached is a .part file.)Thanks in advance.
I am having difficulty integrating STM32CubeIDE and TouchGFX to run on STM32F746GDiscovery. I have (I believe) all the SW loaded. I can run IAR EWARM, Atollic TrueSTUDIO, STM32CubeMX, STM32CubeIDE, TouchGFX. I have read and followed too many articles and updates until my head spins.I believe ST needs to do a total revamp on their IDE and software support products and naming practices. For example, a clear distinction of TrueSTUDIO, STM32CubeX, STM32CubeIDE, X-Cube-TouchGFX, etc. would be nice. How about what is the difference between TouchGFX Designer and TouchGFX Generator? I read the description four times and I am still clueless.I read that Middleware>Graphics has been dropped. Nice. Where is this documented? Then I have to go to Help>Manage Embedded Software Packages. Where is this documented? How about a single product tree that shows how all of these modules are connected? How does one know which ones need to be installed and which ones are already embedded? How about a singl
I'm trying to use a function from a .c file (that I am trying to add to my project) in another .cpp file (touchGFX project screen.cpp), I included the header file, but I get an "undefined reference" error. I have figured out that this is a linking error, but I don't know how to link the .o files in the Makefile. I thought maybe putting the .c file into the same directory as the .cpp file would link them during the compilation process, but all it does is put the .o files into the same directory without linking them.I'm not too familiar with Makefile syntax, especially not how advanced it is in the ToughGFX Makefile, so it's hard for me to discern what is actually going on. Any advice?
Hi all,I am working on a project that requires a GUI with high resolution. I created a very simple TouchGFX project on a Sharp XGA LCD with a STM32H743 evaluation board. I got glitches between screen transitions. According to ThouchGFX specification, the maximum resolution it supports is 1024 x 720. My questions are, is the glitch caused by the limitation of the resolution? Is it possible to make TouchGFX support higher resolution? Thank you very much.Zhao Li
Hello, I'm compiling a custom project with STM32M7 using TouchGFX library on it. Recently, when I started to play with more advance functions from TouchGFX I get this error during the linking process:.........../libtouchgfx-float-abi-hard.a(Math3D.o): In function `touchgfx::Matrix4x4::concatenateXRotation(float)':(.text._ZN8touchgfx9Matrix4x420concatenateXRotationEf+0xc): undefined reference to `sinf'(.text._ZN8touchgfx9Matrix4x420concatenateXRotationEf+0x18): undefined reference to `cosf'I check some of the flags -lm is included in the case that uses the default math.h functions, but the error is in a different place.I'm using libtouchgfx-float-abi-hard.a library and -mfloat-abi=hard.Can anyone help me with this?Thank you.
The STM32CUbIde dont support TouchGFX yet to build a project based on STM32L4R9AII6, so I build my own project . I faced a very serious problem when I try to put a FramBuffer into an external RAM configured as memorymap (OCTOSPI) . When I do this a vertical lines are displayed (see attached image) and the image quality is degradedPlease can you give me a possible solutions.Thank you.
I am attempting to interface an OV7670 camera with an STM32F4 discovery board via DCMI. Upon image capture, I am receiving an overflow error. I believe (but am not certain) this is due to the method I am using to store pixel data to the buffer. I am trying to capture a single QVGA (320*240) image with RGB565 resolution. There are two bytes per pixel, and thus two pixels per word exerted by the DCMI. My current method is to store to an array; however, I feel that I am ignoring a critical component on how to properly address/configure memory buffers for DMA storage. My ultimate objective is to move this data from the DMA memory buffer to an LCD and PC (via UART).I have attached my DCMI/DMA configuration code, in addition to screenshots of some of the errors I am receiving, these errors were recorded by reducing the buffer size to 100. Could this be the cause of my observation of this error (would occur only in the case where the data transfer length < frame transfer length)? From my u

I am very intrigued by the new STM32H7A and STM32H7B value line microcontrollers. I think these will be a great success for ST. However, I am dissapointed to discover that I cannot configure an STM32H7A3ZIT in an LQFP144 package to use a camera, a display and a USB port simultaneously. It seems like a natural combination. However, if I enable the DCMI and LTDC interface together . . . then the USB interface is no longer available. Seems like a big oversight to me. Any workarounds for this? Thanks for your help,Max
Hi Community,I'd like to use textureMapperAnimationStepCallback.I read as;https://touchgfx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021417192-Texture-Mapper-Animated-Texture-MapperHowever, I don't know how to use it.Do you know good example about this function? Please give me your advice. Thank you.Best regards,Kotetsu
I have a static LCD, a couple of other GPIOs configured as output and SWD which are all working fine. PA12 does not work when I configure it in output mode and i toggle the pin. I have tried using PA11 also with no success. The .ioc file of my project is attached. Thanks.
Hello! Sorry for my bad English...I have board STM32F746-DISCO.I generated project with CUBEMX and TouchGFX Designer. It works very well - I can see background picture and buttons. Pictures are located in "ExtFlashSection".But today, while uploading firmware to DISCO by Keil, I look to left bottom corner, there programmed adresses are displayed. And I saw, that programmed adresses are 0x8xxxxxxx only. Adresses of qspi (0x9xxxxxxx) are not programmed.I looked at configuration of automatically generated project. I opened .SCT fileLR_IROM1 0x08000000 0x00200000 { ; load region size_region intflash.bin 0x08000000 0x00200000 { ; load address = execution address *.o (RESET, +First) *(InRoot$$Sections) .ANY (+RO) } RW_IRAM1 0x20000000 0x00030000 { ; RW data .ANY (+RW +ZI) } } I added next codeLR_EROM1 0x90000000 0x01000000 { ; load region size_region extflash.bin 0x90000000 0x01000000 { ; load address = execution address *.o (ExtFlashSection) } } I added flash algoritm STM3
Trend Micro thinks TouchGFX\4.13.0, is a virus. It then instantly deletes the TouchGFX.exe file. This is the second time it has happened. The Violation is flagging as 'Unauthorized File Encryption' I know you said software doesn't use any file encryption. However the software "copies-, creates-, deletes-, modifies- and generates them" . Both times the software was flagged as a virus I had opened TouchGFX from inside STcubeIDE in an attempt to edit the tool and generate the code in cubeIDE. My assumption is it has something to do with TouchGFX writing to a file that is open in the ST IDE. I attached images of the program it is deleting and the target it thinks is the virus, which is a .png file I made inside the program. target is located in my C:/user/documents/etc... Thank you

I cannot seem to get an Application Template to run from STM32CubeIDE.Using the following versions of tools:TouchGFX 4.13.0STM32CubeIDE 1.2.0Windows 10Here are the steps that I follow:From within TouchGFX:1. File->New2. Select Application Template STM32F746G Discovery Kit3. Select UI Template -> Blank UI4. Name the project STDemo and Click Create5. Add a white box that fills the entire canvas.6. Add a button that I can tap7. Click Generate Code8. Click Run TargetThis does work, and I get the desired white box and single button that I can tap. Yay!NOTE: To get TouchGFX designer to "Run Target" I did have to install STM32CubeProgrammer. I don't recall reading this anywhere in the guides that have been posted, but is made apparent by the error message that TouchGFX Designer throws when STM32CubeProgrammer is not installed. Now I want to put this into STM32CubeIDE so I can link the button with some code. Here are the steps that I follow using the project that was created above:1. Navi
