I'm using STM32F769I-DISCOVERY + B-LCDAD-HDMI1 + 7' HDMI LCD (800x480) + TouchGFX(4.10.0).I used the TouchGFX designer(4.10.0) to select the STM32F769I DISCOVERY KIT and created the demo project. For use 7'LCD I added adv7533.c and USE_LCD_HDMI definition symbol to the project. In "Init" function of LCD, I set Red, Green and Blue background color. After compile code in IAR and upload that in board, the background color is set but widgets of touchgfx project don't show! Please help me.Thanks.
Does LTDC access memory outside the scope of each layer?Example Screen: 800x600 Layer 1: (100,100)-(699,499) Memory access : (100,100)-(699,499) or (0,0)-(799,599) ?I want to reduce the memory access of SDRAM as much as possible.Best Regards
just simply read the code in /touchgfx/target ,for not all HAL function ,could not find a respond one in STD Lib
Hello friendsMy problem is I can not widgets load to 25q256 via qspi I do not know what the problem is in my program, I put the project for you to find the problem, thanks
Good morningI'm a newbie in TouchGFX and C++.I'm developing the TouchGFX tutorial 3 and I'm in the step 2. When I run simulator, the Designer output return some errors. In file included from gui/src/model/Model.cpp:1:0: gui/include/gui/model/Model.hpp:16:19: error: 'int16_t' has not been declared void saveHour(int16_t saveHour) ^~~~~~~ gui/include/gui/model/Model.hpp:21:21: error: 'int16_t' has not been declared void saveMinute(int16_t saveMinute) &nb
I want to use the external flash in order to save some images at runtime ( the images are coming from Sd card) . Is there any Example code that i can see ?
HI I get this error when I tride to run the simulator. "Please change your regional settings in the control panel to English and restart Designer."Can anyone help me with a hint?
So total rookie here. I thought that if I delete a widget and generate code any code related to the deleted widget would also be removed. But in the .cpp file of the screen where the widget used to be, I'm seeing methods called on the object that doesn't exist! Here's the errors I'm seeing Here's some of the code that shouldn't be thereDo I have to delete the unneeded code manually?
I need to generate font binaries for all characters, because the device accepts external inputs which is unknown at compile time and can use any characters, including chinese and japanese.TouchGFX seems to generate font files only for characters that I use in software at compile time? Is this correct? How can I generate full font files? Thank you!
Hello. Is there a better way to rotate image by 90 degree than just decompress into pixel array and then rotate it by for cycle? I’m trying to play mjpeg video from sd card by using hardware jpeg codec and dma2d. I’m successfuly done it. But if I want to rotate image using the way I mentioned, it’s slow and not possible to play it by 25fps but much less. Maybe is it possible to combine hw jpeg and libjpeg to do so? Also a thing that would be useful is to crop image.
I have build application using TouchGFX and STM32F746 based on kit STM32F746G from ST.Because in my screen, i have some data setting when screen startup, so i want to these data don't lost when power off, it look like i can save data in eeprom of STM32F746,I have test with example in folder STM32CUBE but it not success.last time i can using flash of STM32F103C8 for eeprom, but on STM32F746 it using TouchGFX and area of Flash very different with STM32F103C8, so i don't know what should i do.Anyone can help me for this case?Size of Data i want to save it about 100-200 byte. Thanks and best regards.
Is it possible to draw a line on the graphic memory using the DMA2D unit of the STM32 microcontroller?I want to write a function that draws a line on the LCD with high speed and high performance. Can this be done using a DMA2D unit?
Hello, I'm using STM32F746 Discovery Kit with Touch GFX.I want to Write and Read data from N25Q512A External Flash using QSPI. I have tried the ST's Example on Github but it's not working for me (https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeF7), I found that my program has a bit different from the example. The different come from TouchGFX. When using TouchGFX, QuadSPI has been enabled and using for this library and the hqspi.Init.ClockPrescaler = 1 ( the ST's example is 2).(I think the different clock is not affected)Below is my functions, anyone can tell me what is wrong? Many thanhs,Hieu.static void MX_QUADSPI_Init(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN QUADSPI_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE END QUADSPI_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE BEGIN QUADSPI_Init 1 */ /* USER CODE END QUADSPI_Init 1 */ /* QUADSPI parameter configuration*/ hqspi.Instance = QUADSPI; // HAL_QSPI_DeInit(&QSPIHandle); //User Code hqspi.Init.ClockPrescaler = 1; // hqspi.Init.ClockPrescaler = 2;//User Code
Hi,I'm trying to fade a group of images that are superposed, grouped in a container, but I have issues.I tried using setAlpha for each component of the container, but then we see the images under that are part of this container.I want the group of image to behave as one. Then I tried to use the cacheable container, but when changing the alpha, the part that was transparent is now fading out, and we see the limit of the container : Any idea how we can achieve what we want ? A nice fade in/out of multiple images as it was one image, keeping the transparency around ? Thanks
Compiles OK.I set the GFX screen to blue.Loads the black screen into the STM32F746G-DISCO.Why?
I am working on a project with TouchGFX on STM32H7 with 240x320 RGB Display. Framebuffer is in internal RAM.I calculated the RGB565 framebuffer size to 240x320x2 bytes and allocated this amount in the linker file with "TouchGFX_Framebuffer" atttribute. So far everything works fine, but I found a source line in TouchGFXGeneratedHAL.cpp, that makes me wonder: uint32_t frameBuf[(240 * 320 * 2 + 3) / 4] LOCATION_ATTRIBUTE("TouchGFX_Framebuffer");What ist +3 used for?Do I have to allocate 3 more bytes?
Hardware :STM32F429 + LCD_1024*600Software: FreeRTOS + TouchGFX The system consists of two tasks, one LED task and one TouchGFX task.TouchGFX task mainly do a few simple interface, no complex interface drawing, the image resources are stored in external SPI-flash, power-on all cache, now the clog appears in the page switch, click the button to trigger the interface switch, need to wait 3~5 seconds to switch, sometimes even unresponsive. A, B, C three pages, page A as the start window, through the a button can switch to the B window, through the b button can switch to the C window, now click on the a button, about 3-5 seconds to cut through, but click on the b button but no response! There are no problems with the functional implementation, as it works fine on touchgfx designer. Since I'm just starting to learn touchgfx, I don't know where to start analyzing and solving this problem, so I hope you can help point me in the right direction, and I'd like to thank you all first.

I got TouchGFX integrated into the STM32CubeIDE and successfully compiled. When I get into debugging and start it all I get is white blank screen.I got it integrated using template method where I create a configured, but a garbage template to use it only once to get files as shown in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12KXreXaLp0&t=177sBoard: STM32F429I-DISC1STM32CubeIDE version: 1.4.2TouchGFX version: 4.13.0 and 4.14.0At first, I started with version 4.10.0 of TouchGFX, and when I changed to 4.13.0 and 4.14.0 there was a lot of difference in generation of files. Here is the important part I was able to edit all gui files like "Screen<number>.cpp" , "Screen<number>base.cpp" or any View files in Keil MDK-ARM in version 4.10.0 but now the generation has become very complicated and not included in MDK-ARM. Kindly, make it easier to use on any platform so that any beginner like me can understand and keep on with the development. I am just very curious about the poten
I wonder if anyone was aable to port lvgl to stm32 mcu (preferably stm32f429ig).Any help would be appreciated.
I have found these steps to solve it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12KXreXaLp0&t=350sBut, is it not an easier way to do it? Thanks for your help!!!
Hi thereI have been experimenting and creating simple TouchGFX GUI applications on STM32 touch screen dev kit.Is there a simple start guide to creating as simple touchGFX GUI and controlling an LED on the STM32F429i Disco board? I tried some online examples/Youtube but they never seem to work properly.TouchGFX websites contains good tutorials but they don't include HAL integration and control (as far as I have seen)To keep it simple, I use ST32CubeMX, TouchGFX designer, and ST_link Utility to flash the board.Any simple code would be a great helpThanks
Hi all. I am currently working on a project using my STM3220G board with a 3.2 " TFT and STemWin. I have made a custom font with only the hebrew alphabet in the font. The font .c file is below: /********************************************************************* * SEGGER Microcontroller GmbH & Co. KG * * Solutions for real time microcontroller applications * * www.segger.com * ********************************************************************** * * * C-file generated by * * * * emWin Font Converter (ST) version 5.32 * * Compiled Oct 8 2015, 11:58:55 * * * * (c) 1998 - 2015 Segger Microcontroller GmbH & Co.
