I try to make a TouchFGX demo for a self designed STM32F750 board. The board hardware is verified, it works with my "hand made" simple test image graphics. The board does not have any kind of touch input, but some hardware-buttons.And the memory layout is a bit special. There is the internal FLASH and SRAM of the STM32F750 extended by 32 MB SDRAM and 32MB SPI flash. In the internal STM32 FLASH a bootloader exists that provides the QSPI as a USB-Memory to an USB attached PC and can use it as a read-only FATFS for itself as well. At startup the bootloader looks for the application file in FATFS, verifies it and copies it to internal SRAM for execution. The SDRAM is for frame buffer, constants, variables and heap. The QSPI FLASH can be used by application to load assets. This mechanism allows very easy firmware updates by just drag-and drop the firmware application in the PC's file explorer. The mechanism is fully verified and operating well with other firmware applications. Now I set-up a
Hi, I remember that in the past I've seen in the TouchGFX documentation a function that was like the 'moveTo' function but with the possibility to have an animation from the initial position to the final position of the object. I don't remember if it was a function of the Circle class, but I can't find it anymore and it would be really useful for my project.
Hi, I followed the touchGFX workshop today and at a certain point we had a discussion about the problem of using state preserving low power modes of the cpu in combination with running touchGFX.The example that triggered the discussion during the course was one where the touch display is constantly being polled over I2C for input which of course prevent long low power times if you want to wake up from someone touching the display. I got the feeling from the responses (and also from another participant who told me he just does a reset of the entire cpu after sleep/low power) that it was more problematic than just this as the i2c touch issue could be solved by using an iqr from the touch peripheral. Is that correct, is there some fundamental problem in using touchGFX in combination with eg stop mode of an STM32F429 to reach +-1mA power consumption but instant wakeup times (to give a very concrete example)? If so in where lies the problem exactly ? I can imagine is that maybe the touchGFX
Touchgfx does not work for me, I get the pixelated screen I use stm32cubeide 1.4.0 it does not work for me download version 1.2.0 and also download TouchGFX V4.14 and nothing, change the version ==> V4.13 and still some help friend , I hope you can help me ??I made a simple program in touchgfx and there it works, but the detail is that I use LWIP in my program, I need to use it from stm32cubeide

Received my GFX01M1 board to use with the Nucleo-G071RB. First, tried to load the precompiled binary in the project workspace with no luck. I get the 'Failed to execute the MI command LOAD ***.elf'. Re-compiled the code with no issue but resulting in the same message. Some sort of debugger issue, it seems, but there is very little about this 'MI command' or what causes the error. There are lots of posts about this same issue but nothing recommended in these posts have resolved the problem. I've tried changing debugger and debugger settings but the error continues to be unresolved. Also tried code with and without debug settings and tried loading the code with STM Programmer instead of the IDE with no improvement. Same error.Any suggestions on resolving the issue? Thanks, tjm
Hi,I'm trying to build and run the examples from TouchGFX Designer 4.15.0 on the STM32H7B3 Discovery kit and all I'm getting is a blank screen. The programming appears to be working (prior to flashing there is a working application is in the device which no longer runs after flashing). The example applications run in the simulator.I've tried a number of the example applications including, most recently, the button example with the up/down buttons to increase/decrease a number in a text box which doesn't work. If I create and compile an example straight out of STMCubeIDE 1.4.0 (instead of TouchGFX Designer) and program it with STMCubePRogrammer 2.5.0 it runs without issue.I have selected the correct board and example when creating the project.I have tried both directly using the Run Target button and also Generate Code followed by Run Target. When using Run Target the progress indicator on the bottom bar seems to be doing everything I would expect including compilation and programming. So I
I need to use a custom display for my undergraduate thesis and I want to do my GUI with TouchGFX. However I could not use the custom display. I could not make the settings or necessary definitions of SPI (I done SPI settings in CubeMX but couldn't done in frame buffer integrations) and I want to learn about this subject in detail. I am using STM32F429 and my tft driver is FT800 or I have FT812 (I have both) and 4.3" resistive display. I really a need help!
I want to use swipeContainer. It can only slide horizontally. Can it slide vertically?
Hello,I am really new to the STM32 und TouchGFX World. So I bought a board STM32H747I-DISCO, the first thing I saw: not supported in STM32CubeIDE :(I generated a new Project with TouchGFX, I selected the Application Template (16 Bit) with a Blank UI. I placed a Button With Labelk in the left upper corner:- Generate Code: "Code generation complete"- Run Target: "An error occured during flash. Please make sure you have the right target connected."I used the STM32 ST-LINK Utility and downloaded the File "...\My Application\TouchGFX\build\bin\initflash.hex" - the result can be considered in the appendix :(I am sad.
This was created after saying "Yes" to the following question:I assume it is so one doesn't lose any modifications made to the framework or other files? Do I need to maintain this directory?
I saw this bug earlier today. I am not sure how recreatable it is....In the TouchGFX Designer (4.15.0), I adjusted the alpha level of a shape and it correctly went to that level of transparency. Sometime later that shape was solid (no transparency) and any adjusting of the alpha level did not change the visible alpha of the shape in the Designer.I closed down the Designer and reopened it and the shape's alpha level in the Designer was correct.
The program crashes in Framework/source/touchgfx/containers.cpp . I can find the where the error is generated here but haven't a clue why. At this stage, I am working in the simulator and building the gui with the idea of getting the gui built and then start adding the functionality. I am not sure what part of the project to zip up and send as I am sure you don't need the entire folder. I tried zipping just the "TouchGFX" folder which wouldn't properly open on another computer.Any guidance would be much appreciated.
Hi,Is there any Hardware / Development Board with 7" inch TFT RGB with Resistive Touch Screen with SDCard and USB mass storage that support TouchGFX 4.15.--Karan
Hello.I got a STM32l-Discovery and I tried lots of examples with HAL, But I can't get the LCD on this board working. Examples from ST page use some strange library and don't want to compile in my IDE. Have anyone working example for this lcd using HAL?Sorry for my English, I'm from Poland
Hello everyone,I'm working on using the LCD-TFT screen of the F769I-DISCO board but working without HAL/LL libraries. I managed to turn on the screen and display the bars of the DSI pattern-generator, however the screen slowly turn black, starting from the corners as you can see in the attached picture. To get the screen to become bright again, I need to power off the board for few minutes and power it on again. The LCD is fine as in it (still) works perfectly fine with the ST demo for F7 discovery.I would suspect an issue in the screen configuration (maybe some voltages are wrong) but I got all parameters from ST BSP files from the STM32CubeF7 software package.Would someone know why a LCD screen would do that (for me to go look further into the driver documentation) or had this issue and fixed it somehow ?Best regards,Julien FAUCHER
There is a DynamicGraph inside a Customer Container with an interaction triggered by a Graph clicked. Screen1 contains this Customer Container. Then, when you run simulation, a compilation error appears: redefinition of the function. The Software generates twice the callback function in the CustomContainer1Base.cppI created a new project, with only this interaction, and it fails.
Hello,When to add speedometer and pointer apps to touchgfx appcan you look at the linkhttps://www.syncfusion.com/blogs/post/speedometer-using-flutter-radial-gauge.aspx/amp
After my lost battle with H750 and H745, I wanted to have a small win. However, it doesn't work like that. I took my F769 disco board and flashed the most basic sample project in touchgfx - directly from touchgfx, no modification on the interface/code. The display went black and did not want to work even I reset/unplugged the board.Tried with the sample demo for F769 from ST site- black display also -- both tried to flash from ST utility and CubeProgrammer( I have 2.6.alpha cube programmer).I then tried the Embedded wizard demo for F769 and to my surprise, running their flashing master demo works.I have TouchGFX 4.15.0 & Cube Programmer 2.6 alpha. What am i doing wrong?
Hi everyone.I have built many screens, and in every screen I have many single data and array data.About single data I can transfer them to other screen, by save them to model when I close screen. But I don't know how to save Array data (like Time [10]) to model when I close screen and get them when I active scree. So Anyone can give me some advice to solve my problemThanks and best regards.
I used the STM32F746G-DISCO board to test the ST Application USB FS HOST MSC function (FreeROTS Version). As a result, the USB memory that was normally recognized was not recognized at all. I can't understand why this is happening.Do you have any examples using USB FS Host Msc with TouchGFX ?
Hi everybody,This message is to inform users who wish to work with the new STM32G0 nucleo application template (or online application demos) available in TouchGFX Designer. If you wish to debug or run on target with STM32CubeIDE, you will need to manually add the external loader to the STM32CubeIDE installation folder. This step is necessary to have CubeIDE aware of its existence. Here are the steps:- create a project from TouchGFX Designer with the STM32G0 application template (or an online application template with a G0 demo)- generate code in TouchGFX Designer- open the project folder and go the gcc folder- copy the external loader: MX25L6433F_STM32G071B_NUCLEO.stdlr (can be a different stdlr but the MX25 is preferred)- go to this folder: C:\ST\STM32CubeIDE_1.4.0\STM32CubeIDE\plugins\com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.cubeprogrammer.win32_1.4.0.202007081208\tools\bin\ExternalLoader- paste the external loader in this folder- open the CubeIDE project- select the "Run" tab, go in t
Hello,I changed my CubeIDE version from 1.1 to 1.3 and cant get the LTDC running i got always a picture with white and black stripe on it.hardware:-custom board but its similiar to the STM32F746 discovery kit-STM32F746 controller-extern RAM and extern ROM are the same like in the STM32F746 discovery kit-Display is a RGB888 with 800x480 resolutionWhat i do is:-loading a perfect running fw in cubeide1.1 into the cubeide 1.3 so all pins and periph. are configured like in the working project than i init a array with the framebuffer start adress and filling it with 0xFF so the display should show a white picture but it doesnt work can anybody help?for more specific informations pls ask i will add them fast i cani uploaded the not working project here
