Hello everyone!I am a person who is learning about GUI programming, my project requires interface design on touchgfx software and using STM32F429ZI kit.I am doing reading a signal from a kit's button, the purpose is to use this signal to trigger another action.I referenced a sample project from the developer following the link below (From GUI Task -> A working example for STM32F429):https://support.touchgfx.com/docs/development/ui-development/touchgfx-engine-features/backend-communicationHere I see a sample project that uses the STM32F429I-Discovery library (added in the BSP driver) to use a function that reads data from the kit's button.I have created a new project that also uses the STM32F429I-Discovery library to read data from the kit's button using the STM32CubeIDE software. I followed the instructions in the link below to add the STM32F429I-Discovery library:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5gCNhFbwrLU&t=214sBut then I got the error "undefined reference to `BSP_PB_GetState'
use Stm32CubeIDE 1.6.0,create TouchGFX project, when i build the project, the error is :undefined reference to `touchgfx_init',but the touchgfx_init function is there, please help me.
Windows 10, TouchGFX Designer 4.17, CubeIDE 1.6.1I'm trying to make custom elements on my screen, not created through the Designer. So, for every screen the designer creates ViewBase and View files. I want to have other files for the screen where I will have more definitions and functions, because I don't want to have a View file of 2000 lines, it gets impossible to work with.I want to separate stuff and include these files into the View file. So that my variables are declared in several header files and so are the functions that declare or draw stuff or have callbacks and stuff. My ideal is to have a subfolder in the screen file with more .c/.cpp/.h/.hpp files in there, which are included into the View file, so I can call functions from those files while on screen.Except that nothing I do compiles, and I don't really have any clue about how to include those, if I fix one error, another one shows up.The screen in TouchGFX designer is ENTIRELY EMPTY. In the View files, I only want to in
Thank you for helping.Japanese font is set in Typograpyh of NAME text of TEXT AREA of CustomListElement. There is a CustomListElementBase touchgfx :: Unicode :: UnicodeChar textBuffer [TEXT_SIZE].const char * = "麦?ら";Unicode :: snprintf (textBuffer, TEXT_SIZE, title);Even if I display Japanese with, the characters are garbled. What should I do?
Hi,I need a development board with the rgb 666 interface to use a TFT display.Looking through the Nucleos, I found the NUCLEO-F429ZI and the NUCLEO-F439ZI which should include that interface.Reading the documentation of theese boards and their MCU, I saw that the LQFP144 package of the STM32F4 of theese Nucleos should support the rgb666 interface (not the rgb888), and that's ok for me, but I found in the datasheets that the LCD_R0 and LCD_R1 pin are not present in the MCU (and Nucleo) pinout.. So, how can I connect the LDC_[R5 to R0] pins of my LCD?Should I map the display LCD_R/G/B[5..0] pins to the Nucleo LCD_R/G/B[7..2] pins?Thank you in advance
Project created in: TouchGFX Designer Board used: STM32F469I-Discovery BoardGenerated code in TouchGFX Designer TouchGFX Designer also creates STM32CubeIDE applicationReplaced the name in .project folder. "<name>STM32F469I-DISCO</name>" with my Project name "<name>MyApplication</name>"In STM32CubeIDE workspace: Opened MyApplication using open "Projects from file system".Configured QSPI suitably. Able to see QSPI in build analyzerDebugger configuration: Debug Probe: ST-LINK(ST-LINK GDB server) Interface: SWD ST-LINK S/N: scanned Frequency: 8000 kHz Access Port: 0 - Cortex-M4 External Loader : "N25Q128A_STM32469I-DISCO, 0x90000000, NOR FLASH, N25Q128A_STM32469I-DISCO.stldr" However, now I have run into an error called "No rule to make target" I am not too sure what it means. Can you please guide me in the right direction?Thank you in advance!
Hello,I'm using the Mikromedia 7 Capacitive with the STM32F476ZG MCU. I'd like to make an application with TouchGFX. I followed the Generator User Guide but as soon as I tick Graphics Application from X-CUBE-TOUCHGFX, it generates two errors in app_touchgfx.c (undefined references to touchgfx_init and touchgfx_taskEntry).Did I forget an important step or is there normal ? Thanks,Maël
I have touch gfx but i am not able to connect to the server it seems. Can anybody help me.
Let say I define a 'Scroll List Container' in my Screen1 view. Inside the container I insert many items to the point they don't fit to the container view size. Is there anyway we can have scrollbar say on the right of the list and user can move up and down the list?
So assume there is a container that should react differently in either of the following conditions:Short press (i.e. single click)Long press e.g. > 1sSwipe (e.g. swipe left or right). Is this doable? Could someone maybe post the pseudocode?I know how to handle single click, by checking in the 'Click Listener' of the container. Then in the screen handleTickEvent() I can differentiate whether the container still pressed or not to differentiate between short press and long press. But now, how to detect swipe event?
Hi guys... I am trying to udpate an external flash during the booting process. We already developed an external loader which is working fine when we use it with stm32cube programmer. I developed a code for loading a file from a usb key and calling a routine which is already present in the external loader for writing the external flash. The poin is that I am able to write in the external flash but the pictures a bit wrong. You can see them in the attachments... Whst colud be wrong ? you can also find the .hex file that I am parsing.. Any idea or help ? thanks a lot ..I The external flash memory map is shown in the attachments... I discovered that I am able to write correctly only the first 16 Sectors... then I start to see differences in the memory that I expect... uint8_t CSP_QSPI_WriteMemory(uint8_t* buffer, uint32_t address,uint32_t buffer_size) { QSPI_CommandTypeDef sCommand; uint32_t end_addr, current_size, current_addr; current_addr = 0; //
Hi I'd like to change screen from Model.cpp, regardless the screen I'm currently in.Is there a solution without implementing a method that changescreen in each screens ? Thanks !
Hi,Is it possible to implement VC++ Unit Test for Simulator to test and verify the workflow ?Best regards,
Hello everyone,We are facing an issue related to the TouchGFX Package server. The URL currently in use by the designer is broken. The temporary fix is to make the following changes to the Designer exe.config to have access to all the packages. There will be no images available (since they are retrieved from the broken URL).e.g.D:\TouchGFX\4.16.1\designer\TouchGFXDesigner-4.16.1.exe.config <setting name="PackagesUrl" serializeAs="String"> <value>http://sw-center-st-com.s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/touchgfx/pacman/packages.json.zip</value> </setting>Sorry for the inconvenience! Working as hard as we can to get it back to normal./Romain
I have STM32F429I Discovery board and am using TouchGFX 4.17.0. I tried creating a blank project on it as we are going to use the same ic on the final hardware. However the display used will be 3.5 " 320 * 480. I cannot change the resolution of the screens, Can someone help me.
Hi everybodies,I have just a simple question:How can I convert a graphic project created with TouchGfx Designer 4.16 into 4.17 version?I updated the tool in the project. but graphic project is open always with 4.16.
I have set up only three screens with some images, and it wont flash the target (simulator works fine) and I get two errors:Error: " 'Extflashsection' will not fit in region 'QUADSPI' " Error: " 'QUADSPI' overflowed by ... bytes "
Hi,For one of our project, we need to display more than 300 screens by using TouchGFX.Is there limitation for the maximum number of screens that can added in TouchGFX Designer? Thanks and Regards,Bala
What third-party companies or resources are in the industry to evaluate the effectiveness of a TouchGFX user experience? Any feedback or input is welcomed and appreciated! Thanks again! Paul
Hi Everyone,i´m new to TouchGFX and have some problems implementing a library for AT24C256 EEPROM.Under the following link I found a library that someone makes available. I would like to use this and have integrated it into STMCubeIDE accordingly. If I want to call up the functions in the Screen1View, I get the error that there is no reference to this function. I suspect that I have packed the header file and the source file in the wrong folder. Where must even integrated files be stored correctly so that touchgfx can find them? Thanks for help.BestDominik
I am using STM32H745 with touchgfx, I found list layout example for scroll list, but there it the buttons created as only one type. I mean the delete button is same for the all the elements of the scroll list. Instead i need to have few toggle button and few push button and few text box etc. Just to look a like android app settings screen. Can some one, suggest me how to create multiple type widgets/buttons in same scroll list from the designer / from the code ?
BSP_TS_GetState inTouchGFX Return Hardfault and the i2c4 state is always Reset in the BSP_TS_Init. i use STM32H735 Discovery Kit.
Using letters or numbers to create events, all works fine by selecting "Run simulation". If I want to use the joistick using the key 0 ,2, 4, 5, 6, 8 , nothing happened. Thanks in advance
Many TouchGFX generated font bitmaps contain pixel errors (understandable)What is the recommended way to manually fix these pixels into correct location?
Hi there. I have a custom development board which uses a STM32F207ZG. The board uses an ILI9341 display driver and used uGUI for the UI previously. I understand that Touchgfx does not support an STM32F2 MCU, but is there any way to import the UI in anyway?
