Hi everyoneMaybe this is an old question but I'm still having troubleI am working on a project on STM2F429 discovery board, now I have to use a larger sized screen for my project. So how do I do it with the correct sequence? What parameters do I need to set?I really need a sampleI appreciate all answersThanks
On a custom screen which contains a VideoWidget, I added a button that calls a callback to go back to another screen. I switch the screen as it's suggested from ST by calling static_cast<FrontendApplication*>(Application::getInstance())->gotoHomeScreen();This way of doing works on all my screens, but on the video screen it crashes the program when the tick event gets called :FrontendApplicationBase::handleTickEvent();When I remove the video widget of my view, the problem disappears. Is there a way to solve the issue ?
Hello everyone :) I've got some problems with the Scrollable Container. I created a small application based on the "Scrollable Container example". If I scroll the text, there are some issues. There is a delay between scrolling and the updated display of the text. It does not run smoothly. It does not matter if I enable scrolling vertical, horizontal or both. But on the other screen is a (horizontal) Scroll List with 12 Icons. There is no problem. It works perfectly. If anyone has a hint for me....Thank you very much

When starting Simulator it always fails even if I start completly fresh new project: I get the same result:In file included from C:/TouchGFX/4.16.1/env/MinGW/lib/gcc/i686-w64-mingw32/7.3.0/include/c++/bits/stl_algobase.h:66:0, from C:/TouchGFX/4.16.1/env/MinGW/lib/gcc/i686-w64-mingw32/7.3.0/include/c++/bits/char_traits.h:39, from C:/TouchGFX/4.16.1/env/MinGW/lib/gcc/i686-w64-mingw32/7.3.0/include/c++/string:40, from touchgfx/framework/source/platform/hal/simulator/sdl2/HALSDL2.cpp:25: C:/TouchGFX/4.16.1/env/MinGW/lib/gcc/i686-w64-mingw32/7.3.0/include/c++/bits/stl_iterator_base_funcs.h:65:10: fatal error: debug/assertions.h: No such file or directory #include <debug/assertions.h>
but the dots are printed with the same color. Is it possible setting different colors for dots in a dynamic graph?Thank you.
Hi there|I start to wrote my tiny first application with touchgfc and STM32G071 nucleo i just put one button with label . I want control a led. my problem is when i touch the button on the display nothingh append i try to put one breakpoint in the btn1() functionbut it look like i never arrive, I follow step by steo the STM tutorial and look a couple of video on youtube i didi the same but nothing work . I hope some one can help me thanks a lot
Hi, I used the STM32F429Zi discovery board. So, I try to change the value to TextArea, but It's not work.I created a project with reference to the following site.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4xxkN9h0HYI*. Use the TouchGTX and make UI*. Make handlerTickEvent on the CubeIDE *. Complie the code on the CubeIDE and execute TouchGTX simulator. I don't know, what's the problem. Can you tell me, how this code work? And, Can you give me an example for TextArea?Thank you
Hello to everyone. I am working with STM32F429 mcu on Touchgfx. I have successfully run the Touchgfx. I am using a 7inch screen and sending images line by line with DMA. I want to use an external flash as I have too many images to use. I am using W25Q128 flash. Normally I was able to write and read, but could not integrate it with Touchgfx. I could not integrate the MB1642BDataReader library in the STM32G0 example into STM32F429. Would you help me with this topic? Am I following the wrong path? @Flemming Gram CHRISTENSEN @Martin KJELDSEN
Hi,I made a STemWin based application for the STM32H747I-DISCO board. The app is a modified version of the STemWin_HelloWorld and GPIO_EXTI examples. The modification is simple. When the user presses the user button then the next LED is turned on and it prints the "Hello World! LEDx turned on? message. If all the LEDs are on and the user presses the user button then all LEDs will be turned off and the LCD should show “Hello World! All LEDs turned off? with white color. The color of the "Hello World! LEDx turned on? message should be identical with the color of the turned on LED.Now the problem is: when I launch the app then all the LEDs are turned off and the LCD shows the “Hello World! All LEDs turned off? with white color. This is the default state. This is good. But if I press the user button then the next LED is turned on but the message on the LCD screen stays unchanged even the LCD screen update code runs fine, it generates the proper message, with the right color. When t
Hi everyone,Some time ago I designed a board with an STM32F746 that captures images from a CMOS sensor (MT9P006) and transfers them via DCMI-DMA to an SDRAM (AS4C8M16SA), it works perfectly.Currently due to the lack of availability of the STM32F746 i used a STM32H743 which is pin to pin compatible and has almost the same peripherals.Using the STM32CubeMX I configured the STM32H743 in such a way that all internal/external peripherals works as STM32F746.Debugging the STM32H743 program i find that CPU is unable to acquire a complete image, the acquisition stops with DCMI_FLAG_OVRRI flag set, after some transfer from DCMI to SDRAM.I can't understand why this is happening, the only way to make the transfer work is to decrease the pixel acquisition frequency (DCMI_PIXCLK) from 56MHz to 33MHz, this seems strange to me because CPU is not overloaded, since the only active peripherals besides DCMI, FMC and DMA are UART and I2C serial which are not active during the acquisition pr
my resistive touch screen looks like this. Why I am seeing this continuous line of my horizantal sliders. There is no such a problem on vertical one. How can I fix this? Is this about screen?
I need some replacement for old STMPE811 resistive touch controller for our board.Investigating the demo boards of ST we saw that this old component has been replaced by theSX8651 on STM32F429-DISCO. However, there are no drivers on the st repository. Can we expect some updates on the drivers of this component from ST?Thanks!
Hi there!i hope some oe can help me, are a couple of days i go crazy to find the problem. I create my own program with touchgfx with STM32G071_NUCLEO , i just put one buttonjust for try, i hopen the program with STM32Cubeide. I compile and try to dowload on Nucleo board but that is what apppend. Please some one can help me ? thank a lot Sergio
How to migrate existing project made with CubeMX and Designer 4.17 to version 4.18?Tried it with selecting 4.18 in CubeMX->Software Packs and got this:#include <TouchGFXGeneratedHAL.hpp> #include <touchgfx/hal/OSWrappers.hpp> #include <gui/common/FrontendHeap.hpp> #include <touchgfx/hal/GPIO.hpp> FreeMarker template error (DEBUG mode; use RETHROW in production!): The following has evaluated to null or missing: ==> data.parameters.tgfx_video [in template "TouchGFXGeneratedHAL_cpp.ftl" at line 81, column 6] ---- Tip: It's the step after the last dot that caused this error, not those before it. ---- Tip: If the failing expression is known to legally refer to something that's sometimes null or missing, either specify a default value like myOptionalVar!myDefault, or use [#if myOptionalVar??]when-present[#else]when-missing[/#if]. HI there!I start to "play" with touchgfx 4.18.1, and i saw a few tutorial on youtube. I just put one button and i create my interaction and i call one virtual function (i call LED9 like in the video. After i complile and my problem is when i compile the file with Keil gave me this error :"no source": Error: #5: cannot open source input file "../touchgfx/generated/gui_generated/src/screen1_screen/screen1viewbase.cpp": No such file or directory../touchgfx/generated/gui_generated/src/screen1_screen/screen1viewbase.cpp: 0 warnings, 1 errorI use the STM32G071_NUCLEoO and i buy the LCDPlease some one can help me to understand ? and whre i can find a tutorial ?Thank you soo much Sergio
HiI need to show Arabic text which is updated from the main function on a wildcard. I bring the string from the backend through MVP to the view. Although I added related typography and wildcard ranges, the screen is blank. when I write English characters and use exp Verdana typography, the text is shown on the screen also it is ok when I write Arabic in the designer using Arabic typography.I've attached my TOUCHGFX project and main.c file. I would be appreciated if anybody can help me through it cause I'm new to TOUCHGFX.
I'm looking for some processors to achieve a couple tasks. First, I would like to get input from two cameras. The interface isn't important, I will find the cameras based on the processor. But then I want to also be able to send that video stream over WiFi, It's okay, if this will require two processor sets, as long as I can transfer the data from one to the other using something like FDCAN or some other internal, fast connection. I did look at the STM32MP line of processors, but they are a bit more expensive, and also much more capable than I require.
Hello everyone,I have a "little" problem with TouchGFX on Windows 11 that running on VM (Parallels). The all tools chain are working properly on Windows 11. But, I have the necessity to import the generated code from TouchGFXDeisgner on Stm32CubeIDE that running on MAC OS. Step that I performed to import the project from Windows 11 to MacOs (STM32CubeIDE).Generate code by TouchGFXDesigner - two screens with two buttons, very easy project. After generated code process, copy all folder on MacOS.Open STM32CubeIDE (1.8.0 version) and Import the project (Existing Projects into Workspace). Select only STM32CubeIDE folder. At this point the project is loaded into IDE. Following issue are present:file .ioc no working, error if I try to open it. Error Message: "Invalid State: Most probably trying to open 'STM32F746G_DISCO.ioc' file from an abnomal previous IDE session exit. Please close such editor and have a new try to recover properly."If I try to build the project following errors are showed:
I am using TGX v4.16.1 and CubeIDE v1.8.0. My hardware platform is the STM32429 Eval board. The code for the hardware backend was autogenerated from either TGX Designer or CubeMx (I do not recall which one at this point). My issue is that the application is crashing (jumping to the syscalls _exit function) when I use C++ strings in the IDE build but not the build generated by the TGX environment using the gcc makefile. In my application I am using C++ string variables in a presenter to create formatted content to use when updating the view. What I observe under the IDE debugger is that the strings have an initial allocation of 16 bytes. If I exceed this when I build a string or if I try to manipulate the allocated size, the application crashes. This does not happen with the build generated in the TGX environment - the dynamic allocation occurs as expected. Below is a screenshot of a code sample and the variable values. T
This is the application code, which I'm writing on GUI_App.c ,for (uint8_t i = 1; i < 5; i++) { GUI_DispDecAt(i, (LCD_GetXSize() - 150) / 2, (LCD_GetYSize() - 20) / 2, 1); GUI_Delay(1000);}can anyone please guide me through this, thanks in advance!
Hello,I have a NUCLEO-L4R5ZI. I try to test data aquisition by ST MCU from external clock at 10 MHz. I use DCMI interface. In my test, I use a FPGA to generate clock and data connected to the Nucleo that includes DCMI interface. I did not succeed in going into HAL_DCMI_FrameEventCallback (I have connect FPGA clock to PA6 pin DCMI_PIXCLK). That means my buffer is not getting data from DMA. Do you why? Is there an error in my code ?I attached my code.Thank you,Best regards,Patrice
I am using stm32h747 with Microsoft Azure. I am using a LCD Screen with LTDC controller and am using stemwin for GUI. I have multiple UI pages. In every page, I am getting the time from internal RTC of MCU and displaying it on the screen. I am updating the time every second. My time keeps on updating for about an hour and after that it stops updating. After it stops, I have to change the UI page to start the updates. I believe WM_TIMER stops firing after approximately an hour. I tried to find the solution for this problem but I have not found anything yet. I tried to update the page every minute instead of every second but still it has the same problem.
