Hi all,I am struggling how to force a LTR text direction from a certain point onwards. For example in the image the version is written backwards as the first text has a RTL direction. I saw that it exists a specific LTR Marker with a code U+200E but I am not sure how to use it with a buffer. Whatever I tried was not working. Any Ideas?Here is a also a copy of this code that places in text and version number.// Convert to touchGFX and display it Unicode::UnicodeChar appVersion[verAndMacLen]; Unicode::strncpy(appVersion, verAndMac, verAndMacLen); Unicode::snprintf(infoAreaBuffer, INFOAREA_SIZE, "%s\n%s", touchgfx::TypedText(T_DEVICE_FW_VERSION).getText(), appVersion);
I'm having some troubles migrating a project from 4.16.1 to 4.17.1.My board is NUCLEO-H743ZIWhen linking a project after migration i get some errors like:"undefined reference to `touchgfx::TextArea::setTypedText("This error come from some auto-generated files.After some check I found some difference in:....\Middlewares\ST\touchgfx\framework\source\touchgfx\widgets\TextArea.cpp.In version 4.16.1 it was...void TextArea::setTypedText(TypedText t)In new version 4.17.1:void TextArea::setTypedText(const TypedText& t)Currently i had to step back to version 4.16.1 becouse I don't know how to solve it.Any suggest?ps. i'm still having also trouble with Designer 4.17.0 that the top of window hides under the Title BarRoberto.
Hi,I am trying to drive 454*454 px amoled lcd with stm32l4r9 mcu and the image cannot be displayed properly. I am using the cubemx settings and the desired settings according to lcd datasheet. Any advise ?
Hi everyone,I’m working on a custom display board with a STM32H7A3 MCU and a MX66LM1G45G 128Mb OSPI flash. I have build a custom external loader following ST tutorial, with H7 params. I use JTAG to flash.When it comes to use my .stldr custom loader in CubeIDE or CubeProgrammer (v2.7), it fails.Here’s what’s CubeProgrammer says when I try to flash my .bin app (touchgfx project) using the external loader:[…]w ap 0 @0x90000000 0x000D083C bytes Data 0x00000000 // Error: failed to download Segment[1]With CubeIDE using the external loader, it also fails at Segment[1] (see full logs attached)When I try to read a data at 0x90000000 with CubeProgrammer, it also fails (see file log_cubeprogrammer_ReadData.log attached)I have successfully tested my OSPI functions in the main.c of the external loader (writing/reading/erasing) on my board (without the external loader linker modifications). In my TouchGFX applicative project I implemented the same OSPI functions and was also able to read datas in me
I recently upgraded my project from 4.16.1 to 4.18.1. After integrating the designer files in to my project build environment, I am facing build error with a designer generated file. See attachment. Obviously I cannot modify the generated files to address issue. Please suggest what I am missing.
I know that the touch screen is reversed in one direction from the Disc to the Disc1. Are there any other differences? I want to use a couple of I/O pins for a project and need to know which ones are available.
I want to create a custom Touchghx project for the STM32F746MCU it has an LCD TFT screen based on the MIPI-DSI interface.
Hi everyone,I have the following "flickering" problem using TouchGFX with an STM32H755 board. The problem occurs when performing a "fade in" effect by varying the alpha of an image from 0 to 255 in a certain time.Everything else seems to work fine, but the problem only occurs when I apply alpha transitions to images.At the moment I'm experimenting with DMA2D Input Color mode L8.Below you can find all the settings used.What do you think is the problem?Thanks to all those who want to contribute to the discussion.VIDEO OF THE ISSUEhttps://drive.google.com/file/d/160AH0cQSda6t6FoSJ-u-yQKXbn7Dx5vw/view?usp=sharingCONFIGURATIONTouchGFX DMA2D LTDC CLOCK
My TouchGFX project is originally created with v4.16.1. I just downloaded latest version of TouchGFX i.e. 4.18.1. The latest version tried to convert my project and threw below error. So, I opened the project with v4.17.1 and it converted fine. But when I try to open with 4.18.1, it throws error. Please let me know.
A lot of images are uploaded in to my TouchGFX project. I would like to removed unused images from there. How would I know if a particular image is used in the project or not? For example, Texts -> Typographies tab shows how many uses a particular font has. Similarly, is there a way to know if a particular image is used or not?
We are considering a custom PCB design similar to the STM32H743I-EVAL.However, we just discovered that when creating a TouchGFX project for this board, many configured pins are set different (shown in STM32CubeMX) than given on these schematics:https://www.st.com/resource/en/schematic_pack/mb1246-b0x_schematic.pdfhttps://www.st.com/resource/en/schematic_pack/mb1246-e02_schematic.pdfA few examples of signales routed to other pins for the SDRAM: SDNWE,SDNE1, SDCEK1. There are also a handful of pins for the LCD which are routed elsewhere. The TouchGFX project runs fine so obviously these schematics must be invalid..Is there a newer schematic version than MB1246-E02 dated in 2019?Many thanks in advance
Hi, Is it possible to change the content of a scrollwheel by a button in the same screen.For example I have 3 options Menu 1, Menu 2 and Menu 3 in scrollwheel when the screen appears for the firs time. I want to change these options to Menu 4 ~ Menu 6 by clicking a button in same screen.Is there any other solution?Thank you everyone.
I am using below development toolsMCU: STM32H7B3IIT6IDE: STM32CubeIDE Version: 1.8.0GUI: TouchGFX Version: 4.18.1SDRAM: IS45S16800F-7CTLA1-TRFLASH: MX25LM51245GMI00I work on external FLASH. Because I have few pins I use QSPI, I am not use OSPI. STM32H7B3-DK develeopment board use OSPI it connected MX25U51245GMI00. There is OSPI example but dont have QSPI. How can I adapt the OSPI example made with MX25U51245GMI00 to QSPI.
Hi,I use TouchGFX 4.16, CubeIDE, STM32F429ZI.Screen shake occurs when text is written on the screen and when a slider is selected.In the case of text, it is designed to be written every second.I added a reference to "https://community.st.com/s/global-search/screen%20shake", but it didn't work. /* * Initialize TouchGFX */ hal.initialize(); hal.setTouchSampleRate(5); hal.setFingerSize(20); hal.setDragThreshold(20);How can I get rid of screen shake?Best regards,
Hi guys,I have trouble with setting up TIM1, I am already using TIM2 and TIM3 to generate PWM signal and ADC conversion. I need TIM1 to generate and handle interrupt so I can display some messages on LCD. For some reason, I can't do that. I am basically using the same code as for other timers but this one just won't work. Here is my current code:void TIM1_UP_IRQHandler(void){ /*code*/ TIM1 -> SR &= ~TIM_SR_UIF; //Update Interrupt Flag } void timerispisa1(void){ RCC->APB2ENR |= RCC_APB2ENR_IOPAEN; RCC->APB2ENR |= RCC_APB2ENR_TIM1EN; TIM1->PSC = 799; TIM1->ARR = 10; TIM1->CCR1 = 100; TIM1->CCMR1 &= ~TIM_CCMR1_OC2M; TIM1->CCMR1 |= (0b110 << TIM_CCMR1_OC2M_Pos); TIM1->CCER &= ~TIM_CCER_CC2P; TIM1->CCER |= TIM_CCER_CC2P; TIM1->CCER |= TIM_CCER_CC1E; TIM1->CR1 |= TIM
Hi ST Employees,When I build apps using cube I have the option of generating pairs of peripheral files '.c/.h"I do this because if I want to create a custom startup I can simply delete the CubeMX generated versions and add my own without having to edit the generated file. I do this a lot as I create a folder with all of the necessary stuff in it; peripheral intialisation, interrupt routines DMA initialisation, wrappers, FreeRTOS functions which I can then import and use in any other project. In other words all of the code the peripheral requires to do the job all in one place, not spread out over many common files. i.e. modularise the system.The .f/.c file pairs are a lot easier to manage. When you don't check this box your main.c ends up being as long as your arm and the msp file is as long. A nightmare to maintain as well as being extremely cumbersome to edit.The TouchGFX code generator doesn't give you the option of splitting out the initialisation files which means you end up with
Let me preface this question by saying I appreciate the new L8 (indexed) color support for many of the widgets. This includes the support for L8s in dynamic bitmaps.I attempted to use an image formatted to L8_ARGB8888 in a shape widget. The code compiled, but when running on the simulator I received the following assert:The painter for the shape is not instantiated as an L8_ARGB8888, but a PainterRGB8888Bitmap as seen in the gui_generated Screen1ViewBase.hpp file:Does the shape widget support the PainterARGB8888L8Bitmap? If not will it support it in the future?
Hi,I am using touchGFX4.16.I copied the project folder for backup.When I tried to use touchGFX in the backed up project folder, an attached image warning appeared.1) What does it mean?2) What should I do to get rid of the warning? Best regards,
Hi,At this stage I have tried everything but the LCD is not showing any graphics.I have created the project in the STMCubeIDE and configured the LTDC & frame buffer parameters as shown in the pics.I have also added the fmc initialization code in the main loop.Could anyone kindly direct me in the right direction? Really thanks

TouchGFX does not recognize if changes have been made into this file externally.Reproduce: make changes in assets\texts\texts.xml file -> regenerate with Designer -> texts/src/LanguageXXX.cpp source files are not regenerated properly.Fix: make changes in Designer -> regenerate -> files are now regenerated properly.Hopefully will be fixed. We edit assets/texts with scripts, and this workflow is not good.
I use MX25LM51245GMI00 flash. But I dont have few pins so I use 4 pins for OCTO SPI. Does it work 4 pins OCTOSPI? What do I it for 4 pins OCTOSPI. What changes do I need to make
