Solved

hi...i am using STM32H7B3l-dk discovery kit, in this I need some reference code to read from 8 bit DCIM and show the content into display. i there u have done pls share some ref.thanks in advance.

I have a ADC chip connected via SPI to STM32H7x MCU. MCU is master spi, and ADC sends "Data ready" signal whenever new values are ready to transfer. I need sampling rate above 100000 samples per second。If i listen to external interrupt (Data Ok) and calls SPI transfer to read valus, the cpu is getting interrupted too many times and i can’t do anything else。CSTART is set by software to start spi communication. Is there a way to start tranferring when external event or other event?

Hello! After two week of struggle I understood that this problem is beyond my abilities. I have a NUCLEO-H7A3ZI-Q setted as USB Host. I connect a MIDI Keyboard and the Host start the communication, gets all the descriptor and then start the parsing phase to define the device descriptor, the configuration descriptor, the interfaces descriptors and then the END POINTS descriptors. It works, but it can't parse the last END POINT so the code never get out of a while loop. Before showing the code and the configuration settings, I have to say that I have used an USB sniffer to check that the end point really exist. It exist and is normally read by the PC. So it's not a device problem.Ok, let's see the settingsHonestly except for the buffer size (which is at the maximum 256 byte) i think that there aren't wrong settings here because it communicates.Below I have drew the structure and the values of the device descriptors from the three interfaces to the four end points. (The interface [1] has n

I am working with the STM32F429AGH6 card, at first I had some problems to flash it, I managed to solve it using the boot mode 'hot plug' and I loaded a program that was sure to work and everything was perfect, then I tried to load a modified program which only added a new structure, but the card when I reboot it, no longer stays on more than half a second, and does not allow me to reprogram it if it is not on, so I am looking for a way to delete the loaded program or reboot it.

Dear @KDJEM.1 Whenever, I implement the HAL_Interrupt functions(say HAL_UART_Receive_IT();). What is happening at the backend, to use those interrupt function I should enable the global interrupt (NVIC) in CubeIDE. What are these global interruptsalso can we say callBack functions as ISR,s ?

In the page https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/support/learning/stm32-education.html, the links to the STM32 community is broken.

Hello,Im working on a Project, which i use with it STM32F750N8H6 with external Memory and im trying to interface them to each other.I have so far now done the Configuation of GPIO, TimingParameters..etc but i wanted giving too the Value of the Clock Frequncy for SDRAM in Clock-Configuation, then i have not found the FMC-Clock Mux!Where can i entering the Value in order to make the Interface well working? Thanks,

I'm bringing up a PD source and it will successfully negotiate an explicit contract, but if the source is unplugged and plugged back in, it will still negotiate correctly, but the PE will request a hard reset causing one to be sent 256 ms after PS_RDY message. Timing is consistently 255-256ms (the PE task returns a delay of 255 then resets). The source continues in a cycle of hard resets until power is cycled to the board or it is reprogrammed. I have confirmed that this originates from the PE and not the DPM or the sink. I cannot provide a trace using ST's utility as we are moving to an in house implementation of the DPM. The PE task is suspended and USBPD_PE_StateMachine_Stop is called on disconnect. These USBPD_ParamsTypeDef structure members are reset on disconnect to these values: .PE_SpecRevision = Settings().PE_SpecRevision; .PE_PowerRole = Settings().PE_DefaultRole; .PE_SwapOngoing = USBPD_FALSE; .ActiveCCIs = CCNONE; .VconnCCIs = CCNONE; .VconnStatus = USBPD_FALSE;USBPD_PE_Sta

Hi everyone. I'm trying to build a data logger using a SD Card using SDMMC. I'm using the STM32-H747i DISCO, STM32 Cube IDE and following the example STM32 - Creating a File System on a SD card from STMicroelectronic youtube channel. The program passes the f_mount function, passes the f_mkfs function, but at the f_open function it stops, with the error: FR_NO_FILESYSTEM.I ran out of options of what the problem could be, also I tried several solutions posted about same problem but nothing. Anyone has an idea?

I use CubeIDE 1.9.0MCU packate STM32H7 V1.10.0My project generates separate files for each hardware. In this case "dcmi.c" and "dcmi.h"DCMI is set to Slave 10 bits External SynchroI use DCMI_PSSI DMA1 Stream 2 Perpheral to MemoryCubeIDE generates following lines in HAL_DCMI_MspInit  __HAL_LINKDMA(dcmiHandle,hdmarx,hdma_dcmi_pssi);  __HAL_LINKDMA(dcmiHandle,hdmatx,hdma_dcmi_pssi);Both of these lines fail with ../Core/Src/dcmi.c:161:5: note: in expansion of macro '__HAL_LINKDMA' 161 | __HAL_LINKDMA(dcmiHandle,hdmarx,hdma_dcmi_pssi); | ^~~~~~~~~~~~~ ../Drivers/STM32H7xx_HAL_Driver/Inc/stm32h7xx_hal_def.h:65:43: error: 'DCMI_HandleTypeDef' {aka 'struct __DCMI_HandleTypeDef'} has no member named 'hdmatx' 65 | (__HANDLE__)->__PPP_DMA_FIELD__ = &(__DMA_HANDLE__); \What is the correct way of handling this? For now, I just comment these lines out. DMA seems to work...dcmi.c /* Several peripheral DMA handle pointers point to the same DMA handle. Be aware that there

I am facing performance issues on several PC's I use to work with TouchGFX.Time to start simulation for an example project (dice) is several minutes. A comparison with a private owned PC shows that the same project can be simulated in 27s, so I started to look for reasons of this performance issue. In the known Issues section of the documentation is the following point listed:LOGONSERVER environment variableWe have observed on a few computers that the TouchGFX is very slow (e.g. "Run simulator" does nothing for 30 seconds). It may help to set the environment variable LOGONSERVER to an empty value. In bash, the command is:export LOGONSERVER=Can someone tell me how to work with this environment variable on a windows PC? When I tried to check if this variable is available in CMD, I just get the information that no variable with that name exists

This is one of the big features in 4.12 according to the release notes. How is it enabled/controlled/configured?Any example code? How about just the source code for this:https://vimeo.com/365563335Secondary question: What improvements, enhancements are in the 4.13 version? Thanks!Bob

Hello,I am sending very short TCP paquets (600 bytes maximum) in a PC <=> MCU transfer scenario. I wish the software running on the PC to answer using an empty (len=0) TCP flag ACK packet as soon as it gets every TCP packet.Using an STM32F207ZG and LWIP stack on STM32CubeIDE, TCP packets are sent correctly but PC software answers an ACK after 50ms approximately. This is too much.Using an MCU from another brand with a TCP/IP stack different than LWIP, I can send paquets setting "Don't fragment" flag and the receiving software on the PC answers every packet with an ACK in less than 10us.How can I send packets on LWIP forcing to be set "Don't fragment" flag?

Hello,I am developing a system using VL53L1X.I have read UM2356 (VL53L1X API user manual).I would like to know the background of the recommended conditions for the offset calibration procedure Chart distance: 140mm.Is it a peculiar point that Chart distance: 140mm is characteristic of the sensor? If anyone knows the effects of calibrating at other than 140mm, it would be helpful if you could let me know. Best regards.

I have a project that uses a STM32H743ZITX (144-pins). I want to replace it with a STM32H743VITX (100-pins), and use the same same code. There will actually be a few differences in code, like removing some pins and their functions, but it's pretty much the same code.I've tried just replacing the .ioc file, but after I generate code the build doesn't work, complaining about missing files.

Dear Community, for my application I'm using a STM32H723VGTx to control a sensor via the OSPI interface which is operating in QSPI mode (STM32 master, sensor slave). After I had a look on the bus interface with a Logic Analyzer I'm wondering, if there is a OSPI/QSPI parameter to leave the data pins DIO0-3 on a High level after the transmission is finished as there is for the CLK (HAL_OSPI_CLOCK_MODE_3)?I would like to have a QSPI behavior like this (shown in turquoise):Thank you in advance!Best regards,Jurni_JasteD

Hello every Body, i am investigating the use of ISM330IS with nanoEdgeAI to detect Anomaly situations. Lets take a motor for air conditioning as an example, If the motro  has protection against high current, and a tachometer, What are the benefits of ISPU  against those typical protection.the seconde question is ,is there any industrial project using the ISPU to detect anomality ? thank you very much

Hey, I'm looking for some help with this IC use case datasheet. I'm trying to understand how it works and what it does, but I can't find any clear explanations online. Do you know where I can find some good resources on this stuff? Or maybe you have some experience with this IC and can share some tips? I'm really interested in learning more about it, but I feel like I'm missing something. Thanks in advance!

In my product I use the VL53L1X sensor for more than 2 years. But the last 50 sensors I bought had a problem. The measurement is too incorrect and the peak_signal_count_rate_MCPS and ambient_count_rate_MCPS parameters are too low. I purchased sensors from two different vendors and both had the same problem. The image below shows my test device. The first two lines of the display show data from the new sensor with a problem. And the last two lines show data from a sensor that is working correctly, used as a reference. My doubts are:Have there been any firmware updates recently? As I import this component, could the customs X-ray have damaged the sensor? Is there anything else I can check to try to resolve the issue?

I’ve used the VL53L1X and found it to be very reliable, I obtained a few VL53L5CX the (Sparkfun Breakout version) for assessment to a particular project.A similar issue has been logged on the Spark fun forum a couple of years ago without any resolution.I’m not sure if this issue has been resolved with later firmware and I’m not sure if the issue is with the VL53L5CX firmware or the Spark fun Library? (but there hasn't been an update to the Sparkfun Lib in quite some time).I don’t know of any other mulit-zoned ToF sensors like the VL53L5CX, so I really want to use this sensor for the project. The locations that require this sensor, are large rooms, 4 meters x 4 meters or grater , the sensor would be mounted in an enclosure and sited to a fixed location at low level looking into the room.when the sensor is first initialized the data returned for all zones that are out of range (greater than the sensors max read range) is 0 and this is not a problem. I think its was -1 with the VL53L1X…(In

I am attempting to make a custom bootloader for the STM32L431 series uC.using the st videos on the subject (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OkUQ3iMmiYQ&list=PLnMKNibPkDnEb1sphpdFJ3bR9dNy7S6mO&ab_channel=STMicroelectronics),  I managed to load the hex file from another project (just the data) into the flash starting at an address set by FLASH_APP_ADDR in the bootloader code. I manually verified that the flash is exactly the same as in the original project for this region with all the hex data.My question is, how do I then run this code? The go2App function crashes with hardfault and I'm pretty sure I'm missing something very obvious, but I am very new to bootloaders. My final goal is to allow the bootloader to receive this data via canbus and write it manually, but for that i'll have to understand how to save/run data from a hex file in this bootloader.

Is it possible to have a computer ask the sensor for only certain pixels when it is needed? From what is posted by your vendor Sparkfun, the data array can be 4x4 or 8x8, and repetition rate can be 1, 15, or 60Hz. Are these options set by the approximately 90 KB of firmware sent to the sensor on power up? Are details of the firmware available? Thanks

I ordered / received the P-NUCLEO-53L8A1 development kit to evaluate the VL53L8CX ToF sensor. It includes:X-NUCLEO-53L8A1 Time-of-Flight expansion board based on the VL53L8series for STM32 Nucleo• NUCLEO-F401RE development boardCould someone possibly point me to a quick-start guide? Thanks in advance!

Hello I want to add a glass to my VL53L1X ToF sensor . How should I calibrate for using with glass?I tried to calibrate with the help of the um2510 pdf (I used VL53L1X_CalibrateOffset and VL53L1X_CalibrateXtalk respectively).  After the calibration when I try to move the object away, the result distance is decreasing.  I dont get what the problem is but when I remove the glass ıt gives the correct result. Thanks for your helps.

I am using the Nucleo-F091RC board to communicate with a Motor that allows me to change it's speed with CAN.  I have the nucleo board attached to an Adafruit CAN Pal board which has a TJA1051T/3 from NXP as the CAN transceiver but I have yet to actually connect the motor to the CAN_H and CAN_L outputs from the transceiver.  I am powering the board with 3.3V generated by the nucleo board and the CAN signals attached to PA12 and PA11 and Silent pin connected to PB12 generating a low signal all the time to make sure the transceiver is in "normal" mode.  I have been able to get the nucleo board to output a CAN message every 65ms and I can see it on the CAN_TX pin being output from the nucleo board to the adafruit CAN Pal.  When I attach my scope to the output of the transceiver (CAN_H) the signal is always High...no data. Here is my CAN setup code:static void MX_CAN_Init(void){/* USER CODE BEGIN CAN_Init 0 *//* USER CODE END CAN_Init 0 *//* USER CODE BEGIN CAN_Init 1 *//
