Hi,I have STEVAL-MKI109v3 board and steval-mki186v1 sensor. I have connected the sensor to the board and if I connect the board to my laptop, the laptop is not able to detect the COM port of the board which is connected. It is not detecting the board in Unico-GUI also. If I connect the board the power led (D6) is ON and also the D1 LED (green LED) is blinking. But it is not detecting in my laptop. My laptop currently runs on Windows 10. I also tried installing the driver on a windows 7 laptop and tried connecting the board but still the same. Please help !

Hello.I am very new to ST electronics, though I've spent several years working with chips from another popular manufacturer.I would like to develop a board that prioritizes multiple high-speed gpio lines.I do NOT need:-sdcard, usb, external flash, etc.I do need:-maximum number of contiguous gpio lines.-maximum clock speed (550MHz ?)-in-circuit programming/debuggingAm I correct in thinking the STM32H730VBT6 can be run with internal flash and data memory only?To achieve 550Mhz would require external oscillator setup and pll?If so, can anyone point me to the minimum board setup to achieve this?Thank you very much!Rob.

Hi there,I am having issues spinning a BLDC motor using the EVSPIN32F02Q1S1 development kit, and after searching through the data brief and cross referencing the schematics with the values populated in MC Workbench, I found a discrepancy in the current sense gain.In the image taken below of the Current Sensing tab from MC Workbench, the current sense gain is hardcoded to 3.33, and it cannot be changed. I am using MC Workbench version 6.1.2, and have imported the EVSPIN32F02Q1S1 board settings from MC Workbench.In this next image, taken from page 4 of the EVSPIN32F02Q1S1 databrief, if I am understanding correctly, the gain is simply the non-inverting op amp gain of 10k/3k+1 = 4.33, so it seems like MC workbench forgot to account for the +1.I tried manually going into the .ioc file and changing the gain to 4.33 but that didn't solve my issue, so I am still testing out other things to get the motor spinning, which I will likely make a separate post for if I am unsucces

We are communicating with the st25r3916 chip normally.But after about 14 minutes,The value of the IRQ pin is maintained at HIGH.You fall into an infinite loop in the function st25r3916CheckForReceivedInterruptts().What is the problem ?please I'd appreciate it if you let me know.Infinite loop.while( platformGpioIsHigh( ST25R391X_INT_PORT, ST25R391X_INT_PIN ) )  {    st25r3916ReadMultipleRegisters( ST25R3916_REG_IRQ_MAIN, iregs, ST25R3916_INT_REGS_LEN );        irqStatus |= (uint32_t)iregs[0];    irqStatus |= (uint32_t)iregs[1]<<8;    irqStatus |= (uint32_t)iregs[2]<<16;    irqStatus |= (uint32_t)iregs[3]<<24;  }

I saw somewhere in the forum that the TOF sensors see [optical] pings from other sensors as ambient light (meaning they are able to ignore them) but are still able to detect their own bounce. Is that true? If yes, can someone explain how that works?Note, I'm referring to the situation where you have independent devices in an area moving around, each of which have their own TOF sensor(s) for obstacle avoidance. The point here is that there is no synchronization between each device, so there would surely be overlapping [optical] pings.(I accidentally posted this to the wrong forum group, so this is a re-post of the same question)

Hi,I am working with STM32G491RE.I am giving pulse to GPIO pin from function generator. That pulse will be 2 msec on time and 8msec off time.I need to make flag high if the signal from function generator lost.Can anyone suggest me how to do this?void HAL_GPIO_EXTI_Callback(uint16_t GPIO_Pin){if(GPIO_Pin==detect_Pin){if(HAL_GPIO_ReadPin(detect_GPIO_Port,detect_Pin)==GPIO_PIN_SET){ HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart2, (uint8_t *)"rising:",7, HAL_MAX_DELAY); }else if(HAL_GPIO_ReadPin(detect_GPIO_Port,detect_Pin)==GPIO_PIN_RESET){ HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart2, (uint8_t *)"falling:",8, HAL_MAX_DELAY); }else{ HAL_GPIO_WritePin(led_GPIO_Port,led_Pin,GPIO_PIN_SET);} I tried with EXTI interrupt but If input is there from generator its detecting both rising and falling edge and if there is no signal from generator I am not getting  in to else condition.img: pulse input from function generator.1.If I want to make flag high for no signal from function generator,above image offtime also it con

Hello!I'm trying to setup up timer6, i need to use it at different frequencies at different times. To test the timer i toggle an output pin in the ISR and measure the frequency with an oscilloscope, but the frequency is consistently off by about 10%.Any suggestions to why this is? My solution would be to multiply the wanted frequency by some calibration factor.I would like a frequency of 2 Hz, so the timer interrupts should be at 4 Hz to toggle on and off.The timer setup is:32 MHz PLLCLKPrescaler = 125Period = 64000

Hello,is it possible to add a command in the startup tab of the debug configuration, to erase a group of selected sectors, before programming?For example I want to erase sectors [16..63], but not sectors [0..15].I have only found the "monitor flash mass_erase" command, but it erase all flash.Thank you,Carlo

Hello,I want to change the MCU STM32F779AIY to STM32F779NIH6I already checked the pinout in CubeMX and i can use the same config for the peripherals at the same naming of pins (PB1, PA4 and so on).Do i need to change anything at the software if i change the MCU?As i can see so far, the software does not detect the type of the MCU, as long as GPIO stuff is the same (which is) it will work. Am i right here? Thank you.

I'm trying to testing secure boot on a STM32MP157F-EV1. To do so, I planned to use the fuse override command to test secure boot without having to actually burn the OTP 24-31 with the public key hash.But it appears that fuse override command is not working properly: after overriding cache to store publicKeyhash.bin, the read is exempt of the key. Hello.I am testing using MCSDK 6.2.0 on EVSPIN32G4 board.I've checked the operation of the motor using the start/stop button.The problem takes approximately 3 seconds or more to stop during operation at a maximum speed of 16000 rpm.I want to stop urgently, what are the ways?Regards

I have generated the code with workbench 6.1.2 planning to migrate to 6.2.0 but meanwhile i am finding one issue consistently. I am using digital hall sensors and i am constantly getting a gap as below in the rotor angle after every some duration. Is it normal this is the cube monitor logging?I have captured the phase current and i find a small glitch which happens consistently.If it is related to the rotor position. Please help to solve this issue.

I am using a LIS3DH and I have configured a threshold interruption and it is consuming around 3mA while the interrupt is active. I have very strict power constraints and this consumption make it unreliable.I am using the driver implemented in Zephyr and it have all configuration from the interrupt exactly as advised in the datasheet, the INTx_SRC is read after a interrupt to clear it and the interrupt is cleared, although the interrupt only is pulled down after a new sample. It is possible to be noticed in the attached file that it takes around 20 ms to put the interrupt to 0. It matches with the sampling period that is 20ms (freq 50Hz).Why does LIS3DH consumes so much power for keeping the interrupt ON? And is it right to be waiting a new sample to be able to turn down the interrupt?Is it a problem from LIS3DH or am I missing some config?Best regards

Hello all,I have a NUCLEO board (NUCLEO-F756ZG), so with STM32F756ZG.I used the DCMI interface to grab an image (external synchro , PXCL / HSYNC / VSYNC + D0....D13) from an imager component, working fine.With STM32CubeIDE, i see that data's are grabbed through DCMI register.In addition, with "HAL_DCMI_Start_DMA(&hdcmi, DCMI_MODE_SNAPSHOT (uint32_t)FRAME_BUFFER, Im_size);" and "#define FRAME_BUFFER 0x200004ac", i saw in RAM memory that there is some value written.Consistent value because when imager signal video is low satured ; value are close to '0', when imager video signal is high satured ; value are close to '1', and when imager signal in dynamic value are 'o' and '1' :)After this configuration, i want to SEE THE RAW IMAGE to be sure that grabbed image is correct !In "AN5020 -Introduction to digital camera interface (DCMI) for STM32 MCUs" from ST, some example with LCD Display ...In website or ST Forum community, some example with LCD ...But i have no more hardware and no LCD

I did pulled up pin PH3-BOOT high (3.3V). I tried simple code but it looks like it is sitting there and doing nothing. I get this error message. Most chips would have just BOOT pin one function not PH3-BOOT.Multiple errors reported.1) Failed to execute MI command:-var-create - * bError message from debugger back end:-var-create: unable to create variable object2) Unable to create variable object3) Failed to execute MI command:-data-evaluate-expression bError message from debugger back end:No symbol "b" in current context.4) Failed to execute MI command:-var-create - * bError message from debugger back end:-var-create: unable to create variable objectI do not see if I need to change anything. I wonder if it has to do anything how the chip boot up

Looking for a motor control board for test and evaluation of low voltage hub motors 48-80Vdc and 50-100A or at least something in tens of Amperes range; I have found that Matlab/Simulink suggests a combination of Nucleo-G474re Board X-NUCLEO-IHM07M1: Driver expansion board for their example model https://it.mathworks.com/help/ecoder/stmicroelectronicsstm32f4discovery/ug/stm32-parameter-estimation.html that could be a good starting point for a much smaller motor, to get parameters and to get familiar with the use of the software model together with the hardware; could someone point me toward a bigger motor control board, adequate for my motors but with the same interface toward the Nucleo board (with or without adapters like the IMH09 ) so that we can easily upscale the test bench without restarting from scratch both software and hardware? Thanks.

There is this Android SDK (Java) for ST25 Development Kit (https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/stsw-st25sdk001.html), but I am looking for an ST25 SDK For iOS (Swift/Objective-C) So that I can use the SDK in my Flutter Application Plugin. Back then when I asked, the answer only tells me the iOS Application Source Code, not the iOS SDK (https://community.st.com/t5/st25-nfc-rfid-tags-and-readers/st25dv-sdk-for-flutter-s-ios-swift-objective-c/m-p/587701#M9247). So then, is there any iOS ST25 SDK? Thanks before!
