Hi, What is acceptable ripple voltage on power supply pins on stm32? I am using DC/DC converter and have 100mVpkp at the output (+3.3V). I tied VDD and VDDA pin to one power supply as I am not planning to utilize an internal ADC. I am just planning to use this mcu to read analog signal from an external ADC and generate PWMs. Is 100mVpkp critical for this application? I have attached a snapshot of the schematic! Let me know if I need to clarify anything. Thank you

Hi allI want to create a GUI, similar the Scroll Wheel in the provided examples.The only difference to the Example i need, is that it should always update the Selected value from the scroll wheel. Also when moving around. So I used the scrollWheel.getSelectedItem() which returns the selected item. But as the documentation says:"Gets selected item. If an animation is in progress, the item that is being scrolled to is returned, not the item that happens to be flying by at the time"What i actually want is to the the item which is selected also when flying over. Do you have a Idee, how i can get the selected Item also when a animation is in progress?

Currently using STM32L496.Pressing the button long key enters STOP mode as shown below.HAL_PWR_EnterSTOPMode(PWR_LOWPOWERREGULATOR_ON, PWR_SLEEPENTRY_WFI);Additionally, you can exit STOP mode by pressing the interrupt button.For reference, after exiting normal mode, use SystemClock_Config(); You must enter to return the timer to its original state.When you press the interrupt button, it exits STOP mode and returns to NOMAL mode (TIMER, UART, I2C, SPI, LCD, etc. all operate normally.)However, only the ADC does not work.Is there any additional code that needs to be added after exiting the interrupt?

Hi! I am a student new in this theme and i am searching for components to create a energy harvesting NFC system. This will work only with the power given by a mobile reader though the antenna. Searching for a dynamic tag, i have see that only M24LR and ST25DV Series can use this feature, but i prefer ISO14443-A because it is a mandatory system requirement. Is it impossible to use the M24LR in a energy harvesting system? Is there any other solution using the ISO14443-A protocol?

I made a custom STM32 board based on the schematics of Nucleo-G071RB and X-Nucleo-GFX01M2. On the development board, the TFT LCD works. However, when I program my custom board using STLINK-V3SET, the TFT LCD only shows a white screen.I did changing TFT LCD(DT022CTFT) : new TFT LCD just same.  this is my custom board's MCU.   This is my custom board's SWD pins 1. How can I program using STLINK-V3SET in TouchGFXDesigner?

Hello,  I don‘t understand the Syntax of the Function  rfalWriteMultipleRegister(). After trying and don‘t receive any Data. Can someone provide an example on how to use the function.  Thank you very much Rgds

Hello I want to measure the distance of water in a cylindrical container to the lid of the cylindrical container. I need to find the height of the water by subtracting the measured distance from the height of the cylindrical container. Since there is no pure water in the pipe, we cannot use an ultrasonic sensor. However, the chemicals in the water are not flammable or explosive. What I want to ask is, is there a distance sensor you can recommend to measure water distance? pipe height 400 cm.pipe diameter 100 cm.

Hello all,I developed a board based on the STM32U585RIT6 (without SMPS package) based on the STM32U5 guidelines.I've encountered a problem during tests: When I turn on the MCU block on my board, the MCU draws >600mA of current.My first reaction was to test continuity between GND and 3.3V. Result: no continuity and insulation around 49kOhms. It was very strange. I also tested the possibility of a short between the MCU pins, but nothing.However, I still manage to connect to the MCU with a STLINK. I also used a thermal camera which shows me that the problem is with the MCU.I continued by gradually removing the components around the MCU to exclude a potential external short circuit.=> I tested the MCU in 2 main configs:1) All GPIOs are not connected to anything, but I kept all decoupling capacitorsResults--> Abnormal current  >600 mA consumed by the MCU. 2) I removed everything off the board around the MCU (GPIOs connected to anything)I directly feed the MCU powe

Sometimes, I am reading zeroes from IIS3DWB FIFO. I thought maybe it is because I am using a protoboard (using MKI208) so I connected it directly (with cables) to RPi 4 but it still happens.I guess it is not normal to find these in FIFO, can it be due to SPI communication/electrical issues ?

Hi,I developed my first board with a STM32L431RCT6 (80Mhz) but sometimes I have problems with an external 8MHz crystal (HSE switches to HSI). I configurated the peripherals and the clock with STM32CubeMx.This is a clock configurator page (I enabled CSS):This is a RCC page:The 8Mhz crystal is connected on the pins PH0 and PH1 with two capacitors of 20pF.When I stop the firmware after the System Clock configuration the HSEON and HSERDY registers are set to a corrent value (set to one).Then a few lines of the code after (at the beginning of the while loop) the board switches to HSI clock.Many times the board fail to startup (HSE switches to HSI) but sometime it work fine (HSE without switching to HSI).The CSS interrupt is never trigger..  I don't understand the error. Can someone help me?  I attached the source code and the ioc file.Thanks,Edo

I am using NUCLEO-H753ZI (STM32H753ZITxLQFP144).Using ADC1_IN3 Single-ended (PA6) and DMA (Mode:Circular),I want to perform high-speed sampling. (1MSa/s or more)Calculated: 3.125MSa/s = 50MHz / 4 * (1.5 + 6.5) (Supplement: clockPrescaler=4, 1.5Cycles, 6.5ADC clock cycles)*The clock uses 50MHz of PLL2.However, it seems that the speed is only around 500kSa/s.Please advise if there are any possible causes or places where the settings may be incorrect.

I am using STM32F407 with eclipse IDE. And I want to generate PWM signal using TIMER12. After all the configuration, when I call, "sMasterConfig.MasterOutputTrigger = TIM_TRGO_RESET; sMasterConfig.MasterSlaveMode = TIM_MASTERSLAVEMODE_DISABLE; if (HAL_TIMEx_MasterConfigSynchronization(&htim12, &sMasterConfig) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); }"  inside MX_TIM12_Init(); function, the MCU just stuck and I get no print function. On debugger console I get a the following message,"Wrong parameters value: file ../../stm32f4-hal/stm32f4xx_hal_tim_ex.c on line 1636".And this line refers to the following lines of codes,  " HAL_StatusTypeDef HAL_TIMEx_MasterConfigSynchronization(TIM_HandleTypeDef *htim, TIM_MasterConfigTypeDef *sMasterConfig) { uint32_t tmpcr2; uint32_t tmpsmcr; /* Check the parameters */ assert_param(IS_TIM_MASTER_INSTANCE(htim->Instance)); assert_param(IS_TIM_TRGO_SOURCE(sMasterConfig->MasterOutputTrigger)); assert_param(IS_T

Flash on the STM32WB1M is supposed to be 320K long, as advertised as well as in the ref manual RM0473 and in the Memory Manager in CubeMx. But the default linker script out of CubeMx only gives 110K flash section length. If I try to put an emulated EEPROM section at the last couple of pages (yes, incl. modifying the linker script), say 0x0804E000, I get a hard fault when trying to read that address. Same if I try to read that address from STM32CubeProgrammer. It turns out I can only read (from STM32CubeProg or emulated EEPROM usage) to approximately the 110K past 0x08000000. I could read a page or two starting at 0x08020000 and beyond that I got errrors. Am I missing something here? It's as if addresses beyond about 110-112K in flash are invalid...

Hi.What I want is call model function(C++ function) in C.I dont use rtos.I add simple Queue in model and in tick function, check queue, pop and to do something.in queue just push one data (type int)I want to push Queue in model in C, but I dont know how to get model instance.How can I to do?thank you

Hi,In ST25RFAL library, version 2.8.0, in rfal_isoDep.c, function rfalIsoDepHandleControlMsg(), when ISODEP_S_WTX messages is handled, the code limits how many times a card can request wait time extension, specifically, this line:  if( (gIsoDep.cntSWtxRetrys++ > gIsoDep.maxRetriesSWTX) && (gIsoDep.maxRetriesSWTX != RFAL_ISODEP_MAX_WTX_RETRYS_ULTD) )   By default it limits to 20 (RFAL_ISODEP_MAX_WTX_RETRYS) wait time extension requests.What is the reason for having such a limit?Thank you,D.

Hello,I am trying to create an application that is able to use the ST25R3911B-DISCO to read ISO15693 tags. I read on the forums and understand that the reader does not natively support ISO15693 tags but that there is a RFAL library created by ST which implements all the low level details of ISO15693 protocol so that I don't need to. I was looking on how to implement this on the board and noticed that the firmware already has some of the RFAL library in its files (at least the ones I need). So I was wondering, are some of the RFAL libraries implemented in the firmware already or do I still need to do anything to the firmware to implement them. As well, I was wondering if there is any documentation for the command sets of the RFAL library or more or less how to use the library itself.

Hi,I've just downloaded the STM32CubeProgrammer software in order to build a C++/QT project with it.As I was adding the CubeProgrammer_API.dll into my project, i found that i needed some QT5 dlls dependencies such as : Qt5Core.dll Qt5Script.dll Qt5SerialPort.dll Qt5Xml.dllthe problem is that i'm using QT6 in my project ! is there by any chance a version that dont need QT or at least QT6 ?is there any source code that i could compile on my side in order to update those dependencies ?Thank you in advance for all the support you can provideRegardsSofiane

Hello, I have one STM32F746G-Disco, which works well with TouchGFX (v4.22.1) and STM32CUBEIDE (v1.13.2).However, when I enabled the ethernet and LwIP, then set the PHY to LAN8742 in the LwIP, the display does not work as below. If I did not set the PHY, the display was shown well. After debugging, the application is stuck in the function of low_level_init in the file ethernetif.c.It keeps checking the link statue after pressing F8 to resume the application in the debug mode by STM32CubeIDE. Although the state is LAN8742_STATUS_100MBITS_FULLDUPLEX (2) which is bigger than LAN8742_STATUS_LINK_DOWN (1).And at the same time, if disconnecting the ethernet cable, the PHYLinkState does not changed. May I know if there is anything I should set? Thanks.

Hello,Finally I managed to produce a three-phase PWM in classic DMA mode with the pure HAL-Lib. (Hardware: NUCLEO-H563ZI) However, within the cube produced routine, file: tim.c:void HAL_TIM_PWM_MspInit(TIM_HandleTypeDef* tim_pwmHandle) This wrong call appears: __HAL_LINKDMA(tim_ocHandle, hdma[TIM_DMA_ID_CC4], handle_GPDMA1_Channel3); It should be :__HAL_LINKDMA(tim_pwmHandle, hdma[TIM_DMA_ID_CC4], handle_GPDMA1_Channel3);To get rid of this error when re-generating the code from the Cube MX, I added /* USER CODE BEGIN TIM1_MspInit 0 */ #define tim_ocHandle tim_pwmHandle /* USER CODE END TIM1_MspInit 0 */ Did I something wrong or can this be fixed in the future?Thanks a lot,Andreas Code generated by CubeMx:   void HAL_TIM_PWM_MspInit(TIM_HandleTypeDef* tim_pwmHandle) { GPIO_InitTypeDef GPIO_InitStruct = {0}; DMA_NodeConfTypeDef NodeConfig= {0}; if(tim_pwmHandle->Instance==TIM1) { /* USER CODE BEGIN TIM1_MspInit 0 */ #define tim_ocHandle tim_pwmHandle /* USER CODE END TIM1_

Hello,For the asm330lhhx device, when does the scale value change and get set?  I am trying to determine if the scale factor needs to be checked only once at power up or continually while reading the raw x, y, and z values for both the gyro and the accelerometer.In Linux Terminal, the scale and raw values show up as the following for the x component of the gyro: in_anglvel_x_scalein_anglvel_x_raw I plan to read the scale once and the raw value continuously.  But if the scale value changes, then I need to read both continuously.  Please confirm how they work as the datasheet was not clear on this.Thank you!

Hello,I can't find the measurement accuracy of the 2 sensors mentioned above in your documentation. Could you please provide me with this information?Thank you.Regards,

HelloI just ordered the F4 series board STM32F407G-DISC1. Please let know where I can find the examples codes to work on this board. I tried to search but couldn't find. Thanks

Based on power measurements I infer that using the LSM6DSV embedded SensorHub with a single slave (LPS22DF) costs ~6.4 uA. I can't find the expected current consumption for the LSM6DSV Sensor Hub in the data sheet or application notes. Is this a reasonable value and should I expect this value increase as more slaves (ex the slave current usage) are added?
