Hi! Is there release date for the new VD55H1 sensor? Does it come with a development set?Best,Wayne

Hi!I have been reviewing the kernel log for the DK2 Kit, and I have noticed that the Ethernet configuration is in polling mode. [ 37.074899] stm32-dwmac 5800a000.ethernet eth0: PHY [stmmac-0:00] driver [RTL8211F Gigabit Ethernet] (irq=POLL) Is there a specific reason for the decision to have it in polling mode?Upon examining the schematic, I can see that the interrupt signal is on PA6(ETH_MDINT).I understand that the configuration for the interruption should be: interrupt-parent = <&gpioa>; interrupts = <6 IRQ_TYPE_EDGE_FALLING>;

Hi!I have been reviewing the datasheet for the stm32mp157c and have seen that GPIO PG12 can be configured in a special function "ETH1_PHY_INTN"I would like to get more information about this mode, as it might be interesting to use it in future designs.I have been examining in the device tree of some of the kit based on this mpu and I haven't seen this GPIO(PG12) being used with this special mode.Thanks!

Dears,I'm using STM32MP157C-DK2 board in production mode.Now I'm debugging the firmware in M4 core. However, when I insert a breakpoint at DMA interrupt handler and wait for a while, it will crash the whole system (A7+M4) and lead to the reset.I also tried the example SPI_FullDuplex_ComDMA_Master. It still has the same issue.Do you have any resolution? Thanks for your help in advance.

Hello.I have a problem with the different optimisation levels.I am programming the STM32F103ZET controller and using SMTCubeIDE V1.13.2A controller pin triggers an external interrupt. This interrupt calls a function that sets a variable. This variable is queried in the main while loop.If I compile this with the optimisation -O0 or -O1, then my program works. With all other optimisation levels, the recall function is still called, but the variable no longer seems to be changed, as no change takes place when querying in the main loop.Here are my functions:void HAL_GPIO_EXTI_Callback(uint16_t GPIO_Pin){  // Interrupt for USB connection  if (GPIO_Pin == USB_ERKENNUNG_Pin)  {    // Check if callback is defined    if (p_eehl_interrupt__callback_usb_connect != NULL) {      (*p_eehl_interrupt__callback_usb_connect)(HAL_GPIO_ReadPin(USB_ERKENNUNG_GPIO_Port, USB_ERKENNUNG_Pin) == GPIO_PIN_SET); // Calling the callback function    }&nbsp

Hi amazing community. I would like to write some data in the flash memory of the following mcu STM32F103I know there are some dedicated pages for such purpose.How can I guarantee or understand that the future code that i will develop and it will be saved for sure alwaysin the flash memory it won't overwrite the pages that i have used for saving the data? Thanks a lot

Hi,My application used ST25R3916B for transmit power for the card only.1. Is it possible to leave the EXT_LM pin unused or exclude external load modulation from my application?2. Can I use the testing point only on the pin EXT_LM pin?Best,Dalik LIM

I have an jetson xavier driving STM32F407G-DISC1 on SPI1 default pins : PA4/5/6/7 .The SPI_FLAG_RXNE flag behaviour is very strange, resulting in wrong values being received.Config used:/* SPI1 parameter configuration*/hspi1.Instance =         SPI1;hspi1.Init.Mode =        SPI_MODE_SLAVE;hspi1.Init.Direction =   SPI_DIRECTION_2LINES;hspi1.Init.DataSize =    SPI_DATASIZE_8BIT;hspi1.Init.CLKPolarity = SPI_POLARITY_LOW;hspi1.Init.CLKPhase =    SPI_PHASE_1EDGE;hspi1.Init.NSS =         SPI_NSS_HARD_INPUT;hspi1.Init.FirstBit =    SPI_FIRSTBIT_MSB;hspi1.Init.TIMode =      SPI_TIMODE_DISABLE;In these plots CH3 is connected to a gpio that tracks SPI_FLAG_RXNE, while CH4 is connected to !SPI_FLAG_BSY .What I expect to see is SPI_FLAG_RXNE firing with the rising edge of SCK on the reception of the 8th bit like this: However with this SPI driver

I want to program turning on/off display backlight to reduce power consumption. 1. how can i turn off / on display backlight led?2. I use dt022ctft on GFX01M2. 3. developement board is NUCLEO-G071RB

Hello,I am using the SensorTile Dev Kit for collecting accelerometer and gyroscope data. I have managed to use the SDK in python for interfacing with the sensor and plotting acc and gyro data in real-time. However, I was wondering if there was a way for me to adjust the sampling frequency which currently seems to be at 20 Hz for me.

1. NFC ST25R95 Can I process if I don't use the MCU to control?2. Can I boot up voltage to 10V for pin TX1 and TX2 for differential pair?Best,Dalik

Hey ,I have a problem getting LWIP NO_SYS to work on a STM32F765IGT6. We have a custom board with a RMII-PHY and have a 50 MHz clk, data on the RXD0, RXD1 and CSR_DV lines. We also have data on the TXD0, TXD1 and TX-EN lines.On boot the device transmits an ARP announcement. And when trying to send a test UDP packet the device sends an ARP request, this request is seen and a response given.It looks like RX is failing in the device i.e. inside HAL_ETH_ReadData() we never enter:HAL_StatusTypeDef HAL_ETH_ReadData(ETH_HandleTypeDef *heth, void **pAppBuff){.../* Check if descriptor is not owned by DMA */while ((READ_BIT(dmarxdesc->DESC0, ETH_DMARXDESC_OWN) == (uint32_t)RESET) && (desccnt < desccntmax)&& (rxdataready == 0U)){ .... }...OWN bit is always set?This is the output from the SWV Data Console:SWV ITM Data Console - ITM Port: 0if: netmask of interface set to 255.255 ?netif: netmask of interface set to 255.255.255.0netif: GW address of interface set to 131.31.128.1

I run MacOS at home, Windows at work and Linux in my workshop. I run STM32CubeIDE on all three platforms with a common workspace: a folder on Dropbox. I was hoping this would allow me to switch easily between platforms on the same project. In reality, this does cause issues which I can sometimes get around but I'm not confident I can work this way reliably. Of course, I could share the source code and have 3 separate projects for the same project, but causes obvious version control issues.I think the problem is to do with the metadata files. Any advice from someone who has faced and solved a similar issue would be appreciated.

Currently, I have two STEVAL-IDB011V2 boards (as shown in the figure). One is to send the signal as a transmitter, and the other one is the receiver. After the channel (between Tx and Rx) modulates the signal, how can I extract the carrier signal without decoding on the Rx? Does anyone know the function of this? Thanks!

Hello,I'm trying to connect SDRAM to STM32 for the first time and I'm having trouble understanding the specs.In the datasheet, it seems the FMC peripheral can not support 32bit memory. Is it right? and could you recommend 64Mbit SDRAM for STM32H735IGT6?I confuse connection interface with STM32H735IGT6 and SDRAM.Thank you

Everything was going well until my compiled code exceeded 64kB.  Now, the programmer says that the code exceeds available space.  But the code is only 67kB and the available space is 128kB.Is there an option that I need to set to allow all flash to be used?

Hi!!!Need assist. 2 boards with stm32F439 (Nucleo boards) direct connect1 board send packet (every 1 sec) using function:HAL_ETH_Transmit(&heth, &txConfig, HAL_MAX_DELAY);ok. packed succes captured and verified with WireShark, no errors.Try receive this packet with 2nd board.When i receive RX_COMPLETE Callback what i need to do?I was try HAL_ETH_ReadData(heth,&ptp_frame_incoming);But it filled 0x00 and after 4 frames (ETH_RX_DESC_CNT) i have ERROR_Callback  with DMA errors;( with every next incoming frames.Please help to receive frames from ethernet with HAL

If I try to log in to myST (Alt-L), I see the throbber throb for a while and then this (unhelpful) dialog pops up So I can't download firmware.

I designed a product that uses the STM32G474 MCU and found that if the BOOT0 pin is left floating, the MCU randomly appears to be running wild code when power is first applied.  In my design, this could cause serious damage to the hardware.  Although, I can program the nSWBOOT0 options bit so that the external BOOT0 pin is ignored, the initial application of power will always observe this pin (i.e., this pin must be tied low to ensure that execution start from the main Flash memory). When the STM32G474 is initially unprogrammed, if the external BOOT0 pin is tied low and execution starts from the main Flash memory, what will the MCU be doing (e.g., executing NOPs, continually jumping to address 0, etc.)?

Configure as a extended capacity SINK(15V/3A)NUCLEO-G0B1RE + X-NUCLEO-USBPDM1Could somebody can share some documents for reference?or if can give some suggestions or advices , it's also graet!

Hi,I was expecting to get x = 23 after following code: uint8_t x ; char* y = "23" ; sscanf ( y , SCNu8 , &x ) ;but I got x = 32.

Is it required to put external TVS diodes along with the ST4485EB RS485 IC on the A and B lines? I see the datasheet and notice that there is in-built ESD protection as shown in the data sheet snapshot below. Please advise.

 Hi,Currently I am implementing the smbalert functionality for ltc4015 based battery charger.But when I am using the below mentioned code(commented section) inside isr it is returning communication error.  //SMBALERT interrupt from ltc4015 to stm32l0void HAL_GPIO_EXTI_Callback(uint16_t GPIO_Pin){HAL_StatusTypeDef ret;uint8_t buf[1];uint8_t read_buf_word[2]; smbalert_flag = 1;//set the smbalert_flag //step-1HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOB, GPIO_PIN_7,GPIO_PIN_RESET);//RESET PIN cleared of PCA9546A//HAL_Delay(1);//put some delayHAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOB, GPIO_PIN_7,GPIO_PIN_SET);//RESET PIN set of PCA9546A//HAL_Delay(1);//put some delay //step-2buf[0] = CONTROL_REG1;ret = HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit(&hi2c1,PCA9546A_DEVICE_ADDRESS,buf,1,HAL_MAX_DELAY);//select channel 0 for i2c switchif (ret != HAL_OK){Error_Handler();} // //read limit_alerts// ret = HAL_I2C_Mem_Read(&hi2c1,LTC4015_DEVICE_ADDRESS_READ,0x36,I2C_MEMADD_SIZE_8BIT,read_buf_word, 2,HAL_MAX_DELAY);/

Is there a way to use timers to trigger an interrupt at between 1.00BPM and 999.00BPM, with a 2 decimal resolution?   I'm currently using an STM32F373 with 8Mhz clock for my timers, and set the Timer Prescaller to 8000-1, and set the ARR register to dynamically set the BPM.    The problem is I get very high resolution at lower BPM settings ( ARR = 60000 ), but not enough resolution at higher BPM ( Incrementing ARR from 100 to 101 results in BPM changing from 594.05 to 588.23. )  I would like to be able to set the timer to generate BPMs between 594 and 588 as well.  Do I need to combine a second cascading timer to create an offset, or do I need to somehow change the Prescaler register as well to obtain a linear change?Thanks!

Hi,I have for dream to be able to create a handheld game console like the PSP when I was younger. It's for this main reason I study electronics.I wonder if there is a kit that help me to understand and learn about the concept of it or something not too far to do something "basic".. like a controller board with 2-3 buttons, a screen or a screen as expansion board. I want to start slowly since I'm a beginner but I also want to work on the projectFor now I just want to learn how to develop a console for pong game. Do you have any recommendation ?
