Is there an input field for the used shunt value or offset? If not, where can I manipulate the code?

I have an issue when using both PWMs generated by timers TIM2 and TIM3 to control two motors simultaneously. Specifically, when I call the function DC_MOTOR_Init(0), it activates PWM1, and when I call DC_MOTOR_Init(1), it activates PWM2. However, if I call both DC_MOTOR_Init(0) and DC_MOTOR_Init(1) simultaneously, they don't seem to work together. When I call either function alone, it works correctly, but when I attempt to call them simultaneously, there is an issue. Despite the fact that the two timers do not share common resources.. #include "main.h"#include "DC_MOTOR.h"void SystemClock_Config(void);static void MX_GPIO_Init(void);int main(void){HAL_Init();SystemClock_Config();MX_GPIO_Init();DC_MOTOR_Init(1);DC_MOTOR_Init(0);/while (1){}

When code for LINKEDLIST for STM32U575 will be generated (linked_list.c) with STM32CubeMX 6.9.2 several lines are missing. In the attached ioc file (which is only for illustrating the effect) the commands for e.g. setting DMA_DEST_DATAWIDTH_BYTE are missing before HAL_DMAEx_List_BuildNode(&pNodeConfig, &ByteCopy); on line 151 is called.

Hi, I'm designing a low power tilt and shake detection sensor module using the STM32 blue pill board. I'm trying my best to attain the datasheet values of 2-5µA. I have done the following:1) Set all GPIO pins to Analog 2) Disabled all peripherals manually：3) Enabling PWR_CLK decreased current consumption by a little4) Break PWR LED and PC13 LED5) All serial wires disconnected This is how I enter Standby Mode:I powered my board using a 3.7V Lipo battery and my multimeter triggers 0.404mA.Maybe if I remove the pull-up resistor on the NRST pin, I will reduce by another 0.3mA (3.3 / 10kOhm).So where is the remaining 0.1mA coming from?1) Could it be capacitor leakages? 2) Does USB leak current even when not in use?3) The voltage regulator on my board has the markings "LB33 E1A2". According to a schematic I found online:This regulator has a quiescent current of 90µA. But, I'm powering through the 3.3V pin, so it should bypass the regulator anyways. Not sure where the rema

Hi,i'm implementing our field-update using the A/B mechanism for FIP image.Would like to use the Update Client described on the page as a template:https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/Secure_Firmware_Update#Update_ClientBut no idea where to find it. I didn't find anything promising in the meta- repos from st?Where to get it? I think i will be able to do the metadata things. But it would be interesting how to read the backup registers from Linux:register TAMP_BKP10R ? How to read it?I'm on a STM32MP13xthanks + br,Simon KretschmerDSA Datasystems / comlet GmbH

Hi all, I am triggering ADC conversion from TIM1 and I can't achieve sampling rate higher than 50kHz. I am using STM32G474RE and HAL library. Based on AN5496 and AN5497 I should be able to do it up to 200kHz and my target is 100kHz. I am testing STM32G474 (STEVAL-DPSG474) for a power converter application where i need to sample ADC at 100kHz (Timer TRGO driven). For that purpose I use ADC + DMA sampling without FMAC, and SPI transfering the sampled data.As ADC samples in 16bit format (12bit converter) I am using 2 bytes per data for SPI transfer. A tests would send 2 values through SPI, one comming from ADC (2 variable bytes), and the other a fixed one for debug (2 fixed bytes): // main.c /* USER CODE BEGIN PV */ #define Buflen 1 uint16_t adcValue = 0; volatile uint16_t adc_dma_result[Buflen]; uint8_t SPI_buffer_tx[4] = {20, 60, 160, 200}; /* Private function prototypes -----------------------------------------------*/ void SystemClock_Config(void); void MX_GPIO_Init(void)

Hello,In document UM3009 §7.3  =>Multi-constellation firmware supports the following constellations: GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS, BEIDOUand QZSS. All constellations cannot be enabled at the same time, allowed combinations to achievemaximum coverage, are: (GPS+GALILEO+QZSS+GLONASS), (GPS+GALILEO+QZSS+BEIDOU) and(GLONASS+BEIDOU). Any constellation can be enabled as standalone satellite navigation system.Does that means it is impossible to have GLONASS and BEIDOU at the same time? Best regardsMich

Hi, I want to use the Fast transfer mode on ST25DV64KC. I am using X-NUCLEO-NFC03A1 as a reader. When I write code for fast transform mode in X-NUCLEO-NFC03A1, I get an error. Do I need to make any adjustments in ST25DV64KC? Rgds KU

Hello people, i want to create 4 different PWM signals that has total period of 100 microseconds and working with %25 duty cycle. My timers are working with 50 MHz Speed but it is not necessary to do so. I need them to be shifted 25 microseconds apart from eachother. What i mean by this is actually; PWM1 starts-> 25 microseconds later PWM1 Pulse goes LOW and PWM2 goes HIGH -> 25 microseconds later PWM2 goes LOW and PWM3 goes HIGH and so on. Is there anyway to do this with STM32F411RE/407VG mcu's? I have both eva-boards for those mcu's. I know it will be slight differences between those signals because it is not a FPGA board but i am willing to see what i can achieve with those 2 controllers. Thank you all!

Hello everyone,I'm writing to raise awareness of a potential problem with quartz resonators that could affect clock designs. In your AN2867, you provide a formula for calculating the load capacitances of quartz oscillators. The datasheet for the STM32L431 states that 10 pF can be used as an approximate estimate of the total capacitance of the contacts and board. Does this mean that the quartz must have a nominal load capacitance greater than 10 pF?If the answer is yes, then why is the quartz MC306-G-06Q-32.768 with a CL=6 pF parameter, which is additionally loaded with capacitances of 6.8 pF, used for power consumption measurements in the datasheet? Please share your thoughts in the comments below. Thanks,Maksym

Hi,I have STM32L0x1 svd v1.3, and it seems the PWR_CR LPSDSR bit is missing. Is there a more recent svd file? I can't seem to find it.Thanks

I am trying to update the firmware in the STEVAL-SMARTAG2 using Memory & File editing  in STM32 CubeProgrammer Windows Application., but I get Error: failed to erase Memory. My goal is to install your demo firmware to use the SMARTAG2 with ST NFC Sensor Mobile app.Screen shots and the Log, Verbosity level 3 follow.Note I have Rev A of the SMARTAG2 Thanks,Vince

Hi we're using STM32L412RB controller for our development wanted to know what are preferable IDE that can be used for the software development for the purchased controller.(They've suggested us for Eclipse wanted to make sure is it okay to use eclipse if yes what are the advantages and disadvantages of that)Also need the suitable emulator information/suggestion regarding this?

I've got a STEVAL-SMARTAG1, and i need to build a React Native App that reads the sensor reading stored in the memory via RF.To do so i'm using "react-native-nfc-manager" library to use the NFC sensor on the phone to read TagData but that doesn't contain any data from the sensor, (it contains only the serial number of the chip). Then i found out that i could access the memory using a method of the library called "transceive" that send a command to the chip and receive a buffer response. I actually using 2 commands:Read Multiple Blocks ( NfcManager.transceive([0x02,0x23,{first_block},{number_of_blocks}]) )Extended Read Single Block ( NfcManager.transceive([0x02,0x30, {block_number(LSB+MSB)}]) )they both work to receive back a buffer which consist of an array of uint8 that i think is the memory value of that block. Now i need to know how to interpret that memory value so i can read the sensor readings that are stored in memory. Is this the correct way of doing so?or there is

Hi there! I just would like to report that enabling the MPU for the M7 core on my NUCLEO-H755ZI-Q, CubeMX (6.9.2, with H7 package version 1.11.1) generates 2 functions:MPU_Initialize() andMPU_Config(). While the second one is declared and defined in the main.c; the first one is just declared and never defined nor used generating a compiler warning. It's simple to fix it by cancelling the useless declaration, but the warning com back any time the code is re-generated... iTTy   Edit: Edited by ST Moderator to add right Label "STM32CubeMX"

I have stm3210e-eval board and I would like to know if it supports Autosar and can explore available resources or libraries that can facilitate the integration of Autosar standards into my project

hi, This is question regarding UART reception.UART configured with 115200 8 N1 I have a project where i need to receive a multibyte packet on UART and the length is not fixed. My Queries 1> Which approach should I take to receive a multibyte packet.2> Is DMA a suitable in this scenario, DMA generates interrupt only when the number of bytes are received, if the packet size is not fixed how to handle this situation.3> I'm planning to decipher single byte at a time and build the packet as per my protocol requirement Is there any function to receive one byte at a time.4> Is there any way to receive single byte using DMA ?Kindly provide some inputs

i'm using stm32l4r9 discovery kit and the built in led of stm32l4r9 discovery kit works but led attached to other gpios don't work. no mater if i set or rest it.

I have refferd the following video for configuration:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRQD8JMeg_ki have done every thing step by step according to that video and made changes according to my 1024x600 wave share display properties.after completiing the configurations and cearting GUI in touchGFX im not getting anything on touch Display..im sharing my project file also ... if some one finding mistakes in my configuration ... pleaz help me to correct it ..

HI team,I am using stm32h723/33vgh6 development board. In that i am getting OUT of RAM memory i need to move some of runtime functions in object file to another RAM section from RAM_D1 or merge the RAM partiton into RAM_D1 to overcome from that issue.is it possible to do merging of ram partitions to overcome the issue. i am attaching memory analyzer photo belowplease give some solutions.

STM32H7A3ZIT6QI have a firmware that receives data via UART and responds accordingly at an external side, using a Timer interrupt. When the JTAG is connected, the program works as expected, with all commands being responded to. However, when the JTAG is disconnected, the microcontroller fails to respond consistently or with high frequency. This indicates a possible issue related to the presence of the JTAG interface.I currently do not use WFI() or WFE() in my code, so I assume it won't enter sleep mode. However, I am not entirely sure about this. I am curious to know why the behavior of the system differs when JTAG is connected versus when it is not. I wonder how to approach this situation and what specific aspects I should examine to understand this discrepancy, and How do I prevent this unexpected behavior.

Is there any way to get an overview of the 16x16 (time-integrated) SPAD array signals? I would like to see how the VCSEL spot looks on the SPAD matrix. Clearly, this information must be present on the chip itself, as it knows about its optical center. However, is it also possible to access this data via I2C somehow?

I am definitely in favor of this feature which I am used to with Notepad++ (which they call Smart Highlighting In All Views). If choise Match caseIs it possible to configure CubeIDE to highlight selected text (part of a word), change the Match case of the text? That is, highlight all matches in the text of parts of words?

I am using Riverdi RVT70HSSFWCA0.I am creating a project based on the TouchGFX template. A GitHub repository must be created. After compilation, the project size increased to almost 280 MB.The size of Project_name\CM7\Middlewares\ is 225 MB.What files and folders to exclude from the repository? What will be the recommendations? How to do it?

Hello,I was trying to use USART1 in a project with STM32H742VIT6 but decided to use LPUART1 instead.  I found that using the same BRR computation the baud rate is coming out MUCH slower (it's around a factor of 51 slower).  LPUART1SEL is in the reset state and the prescalers are set the same (D1PPRE, D2PPRE1/2, D3PPRE are all set to divide-by-2) so LPUART1 should be getting the same clock as USART1 was.Is there something fundamentally different in the BRR calculation for LPUART1 compared to USART1?  I can't find anything of the sort in the programming reference...Thanks,-Brian
