Hi Team,Do you have a library of UART for motor control application, which we can readily use for our project and debug.Regards,Akhilesh

ST25R3917 doesn't commnicate on the I2C (Address 0x50) it seems like the chip doesn't start. Maybe a problem with the crystal?- Drawn current is 50uA- Signal on MCU_CLK is a 32.5kHz Squarewave- IRQ line stays lowI assume that the capacitance on the 27.12MHz crystal might be a problem (10p) an has to be lowered. Before changing the capacitance I would like to ask if there might be another reason for the problem. As far as I understand one should get a high signal on the IRQ line once the chip started correctly. What should be the frequency on the MCU_CLK pin after a cold start and how much current should the device draw if its unconfigured?

Is there a way to make STM32Cube Programmer controls a pair of pins in a CH340 or similar USB to TTL converter, to be able to control BOOT0 and NRST pins of an StM32 micro? I would like to make  a simple circuit that permits entering and exiting a bootloader automatically, without having to press reset and boot0 switches to program a STM32F030F4 controller.

Good morning,I'm using STM32F405 for my embedded project and this PCB version showed itself a real MCU killer... So far, it has already burned 4 MCU. Here's my situation. It's not my first time designing using an STM32 (I've already used STM32F103), but it was my first time using a PCB with this particular MCU, so it was my first time dealing with VCap pin. During project phase, I misread the datasheet and connected the VCap to the VDD 3.3V source power, so whenever the MCU was soldered to the PCB, I had 3.3V and GND short-circuit. To get around this situation, I bent up both VCap pins so they didn't touch the pad, leaving them floating. It worked, the MCU turned on, sink recognized it and it was working as expected. But something weird started to happen. My PCB acts like a central communication board that interconnects other PCB peripherals (via UART) with the computer via USB. Two PCB peripherals controls motors, so I have to power then with 24V and 5V, besides the communica

Currently try to configurate settings for register I2C_CRI. Not sure which value should I set for bit NOSTRETCH. I am using I2C as master. This bit only effected when using I2C as slave. But in manual mention must kept cleared in master mode.  Meaning that if I2C use as master mode need to set 0. Which seems like "clock stretching is enable".... Please advise. should I set 0 or 1 in my case. I cannot understand the explanation. ----------explanation from STM32h7 reference manual----------------------- ・Bit 17 NOSTRETCH: Clock stretching disable ・This bit is used to disable clock stretching in slave mode. It must be kept cleared in master mode. ・0: Clock stretching enabled ・1: Clock stretching disabled Note: This bit can only be programmed when the I2C is disabled (PE = 0). -----------------------------end-------------------------------------------------------------

Hi,This is the first time I am starting a post, sorry in advance if it's not in the correct place.I have a Blue-Pill with original STM32F103C8T6. I have Vbat hooked up to a 0.33 F super cap via 100 ohm. Vdd is connected to V bat with a BAT54C Schottky diode. Vbat is decoupled with a 100 nF MLCC capacitor of good quality.I am using the RTC clock and the backup SRAM. It all works well. However, when powering down it appears that Vbat drops rapidly while drawing somewhere between 2 and 3 mA (depending on the charge level) of the super cap.At first I thought that I had broken the chip by accident and therefore I ordered another Blue pill, but the effect stayed the same: high current consumption.I checked the decoupling capacitor. I checked the diode, even took it out during Vbat operation. I also let the program run in an empty while loop. I disconnected the programmer. Nothing seems to help. The AC level on the 32.768 kHz crystal in V bat and normal mode is about 300 mV, measured with a 1

Dear St,I'm developing a cluster with a client and server, where I have a client to write on the cluster of the server. I can write with the function ZbZclWriteReq() on the server, but I'm not always successful. When I do the first write, I have success, but in the next ones, I have some failures. Especially when I put a Hal_delay of 10 seconds because I just want to send a message every 10 seconds. When I don't have the delay, the communication works better, but I don't understand why.I also have another case where when I'm writing to the server without delay, I always have been successful until I touch the switch SW1. The SW1 on the server has the function of making a local read of the attributes of the cluster. In my project, I'm developing with the Nucleo Board WB55RG.Do you know what can be my problems?Best RegardsJorge Alves

Hello All,I'm using custom board that has STM32H753BIT6 microcontroller for this i need to integrate Touchgfx that should use cmsis_v2 OS along with LTDC feature.I tried in display 800 x480 that uses LTDC feature, where project code is in baremetal  (Not OS) and i had used c code array to fill frame buffer just to check display is up and display is working. Now i need touchgfx project that uses cmsis v2 and LTDC.Can someone help me in this for getting solution.

I am probably missing something obvious but the NUCLEO-H755ZI-Q is listed as compatible with the X-NUCLEO-GFX02Z1 but within Touch GFX when I "Create New" and search for the GFX02Z1 there are only two options, the Nucleo-H563ZI and the Nucleo-U575ZI.I have searched here and googled but haven't found anything useful. I have checked the manual UM2905 and whilst that lists the pinouts there is nothing about TouchGFX.How do I generate a new TouchGFX project for X-NUCLEO-GFX02Z1 and NUCLEO-H755ZI-Q combination?

Hi there!I am using a STM32F413ZH-based custom board, and I am a beginner to LCD and TFT interfaces with the STM32F4. I was looking into the option of GUI applications and found TouchGFX. But I don't know how to use that and integrate it with my custom board. Please tell me how to integrate TouchGFX on my STM32F413ZH-based custom board. If it can't be used, then let me know about any other applications.

... This is more a bug report, not a question. Background:I want to use OCTALSPI as QuadSPI (QSPI), esp. with VDD set to 1V8. I want to get (at least) 30 MHz SCLK working on QSPI.But I cannot go faster as 12.195 MHz, which is associated with a OCTALSPI clock divider set to: 13.Symptoms:VDD = 3V3:down to clock divider = 13 - all looks fineclock divider lower (for faster speed): looks different on SCLK but might be OK (still reasonable, even with gaps)the minimum for clock divider with VDD = 3V3 is: 6 (resulting in 27.778 MHz - I want to see 30 MHz working)anything faster (smaller clock divider) FAILS: there is no SCLK anymoreVDD = 1V8:all fine down to clock divider = 13 - the same as 3V3clock divider = 12 - FAILS completely! no SCLK anymore!with VDD = 1V8: I cannot even reach the same speed as with 3V3Details on FW:I use the standard HAL functions. My QSPI ends up in calling "HAL_QSPI_Transmit()". This is running in "polling mode": the data is written to FIFO register with looping and waitin

Hi, I would like to migrate a code on STM32F271 to a chip STM32H723 while using IAR EW 8.50.xMy problem is that H723 is not in the target list for  IAR EW 8.50.5I can target H723 with IAR EW 9.20 but in that way I loose compatibility with other software in the project. Is there anyway to make H723 work with IAR EW 8.50.x like updating device library or CMSIS etc...?I'm a rookie in this field, any advice is welcome!

Hi,I have created a project using STM32CubeMX and Keil uVision. The generated CubeMX comes with its own main.c and main function. What I want to do is disable that main.c build in the project and create my main.cpp file, where I can put my main function. The problem I'm now facing is that the compiler is giving the following warning- Object file renamed main.o to main_1.o While going through this documentation it says to configure the linker and scatter file.https://developer.arm.com/documentation/ka004041/latest/But I'm not able to figure it out. is there some other document I can go through?

In Figure 1 of the reference manual RM0433 for the STM32H743 (and STM32H742, STM32H753, STM32H750) no connection between cache and DTCM-RAM exists.  For all I know this is correct since the DTCM-RAM is not cachable.Table 7 on the other hand shows that the DTCM is cachable.Which one is correct? Or is my interpretation of the architecture figure wrong?

I am attempting to bring up a custom board using a STM32U5A9 chip. I modeled the board off of the STM32u5a9j-dk dev kit (the one with a circular screen). I've been able to get our LCD screen to work over DSI and touchGFX currently runs fine. Now I am trying to run the frame buffer off of a PSRAM chip (the exact same chip on that is on the dev kit board - aps512xxN-OBR. Note that the DK chip says aps512xxN-OBRx while our custom board chip says aps512xxN-OBR. This seems to be inconsequential based on the datasheet however.) I am using BSP drivers found on the stm32u5 github page. The board I am using is currently missing the octospi flash from the devkit but in a future iteration of the board I will be using that.I have been unable to complete initialization of the PSRAM on the custom board due to a timeout in the first registerRead after the PSRAM is reset. However when I run this same code on the dev kit it runs just fine and intitialization works. I've triple checked the GPIO

Hi there, I have started looking into writing a test program/script to test the functionality of the one of the SPI bus interface (which in the current board called SPI6). Now when I looked into the kernel (the below is the STM kernel we are using at the moment):# uname -a Linux buildroot 5.15.67 #1 SMP PREEMPT Tue Feb 6 16:12:01 GMT 2024 armv7l GNU/LinuxI can see the following: # ls -la /sys/bus/spi/devices/spi0.spi0.0/ spi0.1/ spi0.2/ spi0.3/ spi0.4/# ls -la /sys/class/spi_master/spispi0/ spi1/# ls -la /sys/class/spi_spi_master/ spi_slave/# ls -la /sys/class/spi_master/total 0drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 0 Feb 7 08:18 .drwxr-xr-x 58 root root 0 Feb 7 08:18 ..lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 0 Feb 7 10:01 spi0 -> ../../devices/platform/soc/44004000.spi/spi_master/spi0lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 0 Feb 7 10:01 spi1 -> ../../devices/platform/soc/5c001000.spi/spi_master/spi1# ls -la /sys/class/spi_slave/total 0drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 0 Feb 7 08:18 .drwxr-xr-x 58 root root 0 Feb 7 08:18 ..I chec

hi everyone, i am suman, just started exploring STM32U5A9J-DK board. So I don't know how to access the led of that board. If anyone know how to do that, it will be very helpful for me. Thank you.

Hi All,Requesting help with below.I am using latest version of STM32CubeIDE. The microcontroller in use is STM32H743BITx.I have concerns with regards to:1. Whether to add ALIGN(4) even inside the FLASH sections present in STM32H753BITX_FLASH.ld (attached)2. The file generated by STM32CubeMX (ran from within STM32CubeIDE) generated a STM32H753BITX_FLASH.ld file in the project folder. It does not contain sections that reside in RAM_D2 and RAM_D3. Attached the STM32H753BITX_FLASH.ld.txt file for reference. Is there a way available with STM32CubeMX (preferably) or with STM32CubeIDE to add the necessary RAM sections in the LD file for STM32H743BITx?3. I observe that macro DATA_IN_D2_SRAM is disabled and hence concerned about how clocks to RAM_D1, RAM_D2 and RAM_D3 are being enabled. I am also unable to figure out any valid assignment to register AHB2ENR which would enable the clock to the three RAM sections. In file system_stm32h7xx.c please refer to below section starting at line number 79.

HelloI am running a NUCLEO-H723ZG board.User data is saved to internal flash from within the application according to the following procedure: unlock the flash, erase, program. None of the operations return errors. When monitoring the memory, everything looks correct. The sector used is sector 7. Starting address 0x080E0000.Here comes the issue: the next time deploying the application/powering on the board, lots of areas in the sector are filled with 0. For instance:0x080E0000-0x080E0040 are only 0, even though I have written (non 0) to them.0x080E0040-0x080E0200 are OK0x080E0200-0x080E0240 are 0.0x080E0240-0x080E0400 are OK. And so on. This pattern repeats over the entire sector. The size of the 0-areas seems to vary every time deploying and re-run the application. I have found a workaround that seems to work: Delete 2 sectors, starting sector 6. Sector 6 will now be corrupt as described above, while sector 7 can be used. Does anyone have a clue what might be the issue and a s

Hello,I have been experiencing a problem with the usage of the internal ADC on my STM32L476RG Nucleo64 development board. Unfortunately I have not been able to find similar problems online or in the forums.I would like to use the highest possible sampling rate (5.33 MSps according to https://wiki.st.com/stm32mcu/wiki/Getting_started_with_ADC). However, this wiki article uses the clock divisor of 64x and sample time of 92.5 cycles. For testing purposes, I am generating a 1Hz 3.3Vpp sine wave with an Agilent 33250A waveform generator and measuring the signal on the wire to the ADC pin with an oscilloscope. As sample rate increases, the signal is distorted immensely. The signal at 64x clock divisor. The signal at 8x clock divisor. The signal at 1x clock divisor. It seems odd to me that the ADC is strong enough to overpower a waveform generator.I am using DMA sampling across five channels (though this signal is only on the first one) and writing into a 500x5 buffer. void OptionReadAllRaw()

I want to know if the OV5678 image sensor will support STM32L496AG.? https://www.ovt.com/products/ov5678/

Hello,I am using a Nucleo H755ZIQ development board and want to test the network communication with the M4 core in combination with FreeRTOS and LWIP, but I am running into a problem. For the setup process I have used the network tutorial from "Adam BERLINGER".https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus/how-to-create-project-for-stm32h7-with-ethernet-and-lwip-stack/ta-p/49308 The problem is, that i cant build my project and i will always receive the following error message for the M4 project:../LWIP/Target/ethernetif.c: In function 'HAL_ETH_RxLinkCallback':../LWIP/Target/ethernetif.c:906:3: warning: implicit declaration of function 'SCB_InvalidateDCache_by_Addr' [-Wimplicit-function-declaration]../LWIP/Target/ethernetif.c:906: undefined reference to `SCB_InvalidateDCache_by_Addr' To my knowledge the function is part of the cache handling for M7 processors. But in my case i am using the M4 core of the H7 which does not have a D-Cache. Has someone an idea how to solve this issue?

Bonjour,J’ai un composant qui est détruit sur une carte mère, l’ancienne référence ST est ASC 108 6S FQ41.Pouvez-vous me donner la nouvelle référence qui correspond à ce triac.Je vous remercieBonne journée

I am lost and confused between the wireless charging topic when it comes to development boards. Which ones should we order in order to test the working principle of the wireless up to 1W charging? Is ST25R3911B-DISCO the one to use as the WLC-Poller? Or is there something better? As for WLC-Listener development boards, we are unable to find any suitable options, all of them only mention energy harvesting, not charging. At the same time, do you have app notes on both poller and listener blocks? We would be interested in building our own system as soon as possible.
