Hi ST experts.I used the pingpong sample code to test RSSI and SNR. I set SF=12, BW=62.5Khz.I used SX1261 calculator tools to calculate, under this condition, its RSSI can reach -140dBm.But during my actual test, our RSSI reached -120dBm and the SNR was unable to receive data after it reached -20dBm. This is a module we designed ourselves. Is this normal behavior?

HI,I am using a STM32F446RE which is the 64pin package.AN4760 states that "LQFP64 supports only Bank1 and Single-SPI/Dual-SPI only"Does this mean that I am unable to use the QSPI on this chip to be memory mapped? When configuring the chip in CubeMX, QSPI comes up, but obviously only uses NCS, IO0, IO1, and CLKI have searched as much as I am able to, but have been unable to find anything definitive. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks,Josh

I am trying to use the cryptographic hash processor on the STM32h723xx, however, I cannot find the registers like HASH_CR defined in the device header files. Can someone please advise If I should be using the register definition from another MCU device file, Do the hash features exist in this MCU?If they do not exist what other MCUs from the same H7 family would have this feature? Thanks

I want to use STM32F407V in USB device MSC mode. The device has battery to run the MCU. To fetch data from device, it will be connected to LAPTOP by USB cable. Please confirm below configuration for schematic1) Connect PA9 to VBUS on USB connector,  perferably by voltage divider so voltage never exceed 5V. But whats the purpose of PA9 connecting to Vbus , I am not sure..2) Do not need any pull up on USB_DP, as MCU has internal pull up as mentioned in datasheet. I hope I am not missing any point.  Thanks

I'm configuring the LTDC and I'm not sure where/how I enable the ltdc_aclk. I've enabled ltdc_plck in RCC->APB3ENR and I've configured PLL3R for the kernel/pixel clock but I cannot for the life of me find any info on how/where to enable ltdc_aclk so I'm unable to modify any of the registers in this clock domain. I'm using the STM32H745i-DISCO dev board.

Hello,I'm working with the nucleo_h563zi board and Zephyr (3.6).  I'm trying to build using MCU Boot and firmware update. I  have been able to successfully build MCUBoot and flash it to the device. That boots but fails with the "Unable to find bootable image" which is expected as there is no application flashed at this point. Next, I am able to build and flash my application to the board.  I'm using the Zephyr Blinky sample as a minimal test.  I've made sure to configure the partitions and MCUBoot options correctly. When I flash it to the board, however, I get the following error:Memory Programming ...Opening and parsing file: zephyr.signed.hexFile : zephyr.signed.hexSize : 20.02 KBAddress : 0x08010000Erasing memory corresponding to segment 0:Erasing internal memory sectors [8 10]Download in Progress:██████████████████████████████████████████████████ 100%File download completeTime elapsed during download operation: 00:00:00.674RUNNING Program ...Addre

I'm having a bit of trouble talking to the VL53L5Cx... I'm appearing to download firmware ok, by all accolunts vl53l5cx_init() is returning with VL53L5CX_STATUS_OK and vl53l5cx_start_ranging() likewise. However, the response on the I2C bus to vl53l5cx_check_data_ready() is 0xFF, 0x05, 0xC5, 0x81 - thus the check fails and is_Ready returns 0.Any help what those bytes being returned mean, and therefore clues as to what I've done wrong? The device consumption is in the order 28mA, and I cannot see any light with an IR camera...ThanksKevin

Hello community,An automotive client that i'm working with wants to devolope his own bootloader basing on ST bootloader on SPC5 product. my mission is to validate this bootloader on SPC5 eval bord of ST.So , im asking if there is a specific HW and SW tools to validate CAN UDS bootloder. Also any documentation about CAN bootloader could helpThinks in advance Farmer ST engineerZied ben Amira

HelloI am encountering an issue with a code running on an STM32F4xxx board. The code is designed to perform a measurement, and I aim to transfer this data to a computer. While I can successfully receive the measurement using various terminal programs, I require the data to be imported into an Excel sheet. To facilitate this, I've developed a macro that extracts data from the serial interface. However, I've encountered a problem where the data from the ST Link Virtual COM port isn't being received by Excel VBA, despite ensuring that all settings such as baud rate, parity, stop bits, and flow control are correctly configured.Concurrently, I've conducted a test using an Arduino, where I've programmed it to transmit identical data (excluding measurements, which remain constant). Interestingly, when I switch the COM port to that of the Arduino, Excel successfully receives the data. This leads me to speculate whether there's a discrepancy between the virtual COM port of the STM32F4 Nucleo boar

How does one go about setting main() to address 8?Or any address, but I thought I'd be specific so I can see what the mechansim is to set things to specific addresses.  If you have a map input file (I see the out.map).Also, getting error:c:/spc5studio-6.0/eclipse/plugins/com.st.tools.spc5.tools.gnu.gcc.ppcvle.win32_4.9.4.20200908161514/toolchain/bin/../lib/gcc/powerpc-eabivle/4.9.4/../../../../powerpc-eabivle/bin/real-ld.exe: build/out.elf section `.bss' will not fit in region `ram'c:/spc5studio-6.0/eclipse/plugins/com.st.tools.spc5.tools.gnu.gcc.ppcvle.win32_4.9.4.20200908161514/toolchain/bin/../lib/gcc/powerpc-eabivle/4.9.4/../../../../powerpc-eabivle/bin/real-ld.exe: region `ram' overflowed by 3792 bytesNo idea where to look for the problem or how to correct.  Not new to embedded software and this is usually in some sort of linker file etc..usually can fix these things by a descriptive output file that fully describes the location and sizes of the code...but where...hmmm w

Hi Team,I am working on SPC58NN. Can someone help me in creating a motor control project in SPC5 Studio. If anyone has the documentation, Please share the link. Thanks and Regards,Akhilesh

Hi everyone,I am currently designing my own PCB board using the bluenrg-332ac chip. I want to use the ufl/SMA port to connect my antenna without connecting the PCB antenna. So I wonder how to remove the PCB antenna from the PCB layout with only UFL port? as the PCB guideline didn't show me how to configure the matching network for the UFL port. Also, the current ufl port on the eval board is only for testing the chip's functionality and has a very low RSSI, which makes the signal too weak to be used. Thank you.Reference files: AN5526  STEVAL-IDB012V1

The Discovery kit with STM32H745XI MCU outputs a triangle wave, but how can I make it output a sawtooth wave instead of a triangle wave? Please let me know the specific improvement and source code.Looking forward to your answer.

HiI'm working with SPC570 and SPC5 Studio, version: 5.8.1 with installed the SPC5Studio patch for DMA in SPC570S DSPI lld running on Windows 11. Very often I have a problem with Generate SPC5 Application because at the end of generation (that seems terminated with success), when I try the build SPC5 application I have these error: make -j4 allCompiling boot.sCompiling crt0.sCompiling vectors.sCompiling ivor.sAssembler messages:Fatal error: can't create build/obj/boot.o: No such file or directorymake: *** [build/obj/boot.o] Error 1make: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs....Assembler messages:Fatal error: can't create build/obj/vectors.o: No such file or directoryAssembler messages:Fatal error: can't create build/obj/crt0.o: No such file or directorymake: *** [build/obj/vectors.o] Error 1make: *** [build/obj/crt0.o] Error 1Assembler messages:Fatal error: can't create build/obj/ivor.o: No such file or directorymake: *** [build/obj/ivor.o] Error 115:51:05 Build Finished (

Dear Friends at Community;I am looking for the Excel file containing the register map for the L9961. I noticed it was not attached previously, although the revision history in the datasheet mentions that it was reattached in the latest version. Unfortunately, I cannot access it. Can you provide any assistance?Best Regards,Mohamed Smaili

Hey. I tried to setup `printf` using the following forum post. I am using the `NUCLEO-L4A6ZG`.Here what I've tried so far. I connected the `USART2` to the Pins `PA2` (RX) and `PA3` (TX):(By default LPUART1 was configured and connected to PG7/8, since the forum post used USART2 I used it as well.)After the configuration was saved, and the code generated, I used the code from the previous mentioned forum post. Here a shorter and with comments removed version:  /* Includes ------------------------------------------------------------------*/ #include "main.h" #include "stdio.h" // ... /* Private variables ---------------------------------------------------------*/ UART_HandleTypeDef huart2; // ... /* Private function prototypes -----------------------------------------------*/ void SystemClock_Config(void); static void MX_GPIO_Init(void); static void MX_USB_OTG_FS_PCD_Init(void); static void MX_USART2_UART_Init(void); /* USER CODE BEGIN PFP */ #define PUTCHAR_PROTOTYPE int _

Hello,  I am trying to compare a third party libraries size on my STM32 project.  Methodology  Firstly, i build a project without including a third party library and build it.  Secondly i build a project after including a third party library and compare memory usage with build analyzer and surprisingly i get the same result. How i can know the exact memory size used by library?  i used below libraries.   No. 1 Micro CBOR JavaScript 2 NanoCBOR C 3 QCBOR C 4 TinyCBOR C 5 libCBOR C   Without Library build project.

I couldn't look at the registers while using Keil. The chip model is STM32U575VGT6. I remember the wrong package to install stm32U5, he said there was a file error, but I could still compile the U5 series chips. Is it because of this? now how do I install the package correctly. Attached are some picture descriptions

Hi,Why does this enum (in rfal_nfcv.h) do not contain the command code for some commands (eg:- Write AFI, Lock AFI etc )? I also do not see an api to do this -  If I need to write to AFI, Am I supposed to use directly api rfalNfcvPollerTransceiveReq() with 0x27h command code ?@Brian TIDAL

Hello,I am using the NUCLEO-G071RB and the X-NUCLEO-DRP1M1 with the X-CUBE TXPP Software Bundle.I created my project via the instructions from https://wiki.st.com/stm32mcu/wiki/STM32StepByStep:Getting_started_with_USB-Power_Delivery_Dual_Role.Everything works fine.I have a case where my device is always a sink but has to change Data Role. Is there a way to read the data role via the stack? I know that there is a defualt power role, which basically sets the Data Role ( Sink = UFP). And if there is a Data Role Swap Request I could just chnge my variable.Depending ont he Data Role I need to set a ID.But is there a "nicer" way to read the Data Role from the Stack? Thanks in advance.

I am trying to run BDMA on STM32H7B3 in double buffering mode. During debugging, I can see that some registers are missing in BDMA->CCRx. According to the documentation, DBM should be located at position 15 and CT at position 16. Where can I download the corrected STM32H7B3.svd file?

I am working on custom display board. created project using touchGFX I would like to know to how to confirm what is the tpa version touchGfx used to create this project.any interface to get tpa version or BOM file which includes all package version. ?
