I'm trying to use the SD-Card on the STM32H7B3I-DK with FatFS, but the transfers from the card do not work if the D-Cache is enabled. There are a number of other posts that report similar with this one looking most similar (and has a solution).I have enabled cache management and the scratch buffer:#define ENABLE_SD_DMA_CACHE_MAINTENANCE 1#define ENABLE_SCRATCH_BUFFERHowever, the card still does not work if I enable the D-Cache.What else do I need to look at?

CMSIS need to be updated to the new version. The version 6 changes some register name in header file.(Drivers\CMSIS\Core\Include\core_cm4.h  etc.)Tested on MCU package F3 v1.11.4 and G0 v1.6.2. Guessing all MCU package using CMSIS v5.0.3.

Hello, I am trying to create a simple frequency measuring device using 1 optical encoder and NUCLEO-F401RE board. I want to capture frequency (or period) of impulse, so I was thinking to use input capture mode and capture rising edge of impulses and see Counter value. I don't want to use interrupts or any other method to reset Counter. Ideally, it should be done on hardware and when I need, frequency could be retrieved and read. How I imagine this should works is liek this: Counter starts counting after start function somewhere on main, after impulse positive edge comes it saves the value and resets counter, when next impulse comes, it overwrites the value and again resets the counter. At any time I can  read  saved value and get current frequency. Is this possible to do without any interruptions in program?

I'm wondering with implementation of CMake into stm cube.I tried default project executable and it works for C and I'm able to debug it.But if I change it to C++ I'm unable to debug it. Program always jumps to this line:Infinite_Loop:b Infinite_Loop.size Default_Handler, .-Default_HandlerAt first I separate the sources and asm file byset (PROJECT_ASM_SOURCES# LIST SOURCE FILES HEREStartup/startup_stm32h745zitx.s)set (PROJECT_SOURCES# LIST SOURCE FILES HERESources/main.cSources/syscalls.cSources/sysmem.c)then I set c files to c++ by:set_source_files_properties(${PROJECT_SOURCES} PROPERTIES LANGUAGE CXX)and added these file to executable:add_executable(${PROJECT_NAME} ${PROJECT_SOURCES} ${PROJECT_ASM_SOURCES})I used NUCLEO-H745ZI-Q board. I tried several compiler settings, linker, rename files to cpp, but with no success.

Hello AllI tried searching all over. Is there a  STM32  API for Delphi program developers. The idea is that I am Delphi programmer who would like to design custom programs to read/write to STM32F4 development boards. STM32Cube IDE is fine for running the programs on the board. I need to design a custom GUI which will run on my PC so that I could interface with the boards through the USB. I could then read the status of any sensor etc attached to the boards and manipulate the data accordingly. Any know of such an API?

I'm having issues with the "busVoltageDivider" property in the "VBusSensing" feature. The Wiki says that the "VBusSensing" feature doesn't define any global propery, however the Board Manager is complaining that the property is missing when I don't add it.Furthermore, how is this and the "busVoltageDivider" property inside the "VBusSensing" hardware type (I'm assuming they're identical) calculated? The other properties "busVoltageDividerR1" and "busVoltageDividerR2" are obvious.

Hi all,I am using STM32F769I DISCO Board, STM32 CUBEIDE,X-CUBE-SBSFU 2.6.2 , WINDOWS Environment for checking new features in security i.e. secure bootloader.I am newbie to this topic and I have followed compilation procedure as per the readme file, but I am getting file missing error in MDK-ARM IDE SE_CoreBin.s(19): error: A1270E: File "..\..\1_Image_SECoreBin\MDK-ARM\STM32F769I_Discovery_1_Image_SECoreBin\SECoreBin.bin" not foundand in CUBEIDE :"../prebuild.sh" "../"prepareimage with python scriptpython /prepareimage.py conf ..//../Inc/se_crypto_config.hpython: can't open file 'C:\\prepareimage.py': [Errno 2] No such file or directoryselected../prebuild.sh: line 54: can't create ..//Application/Startup/se_key.s: nonexistent directory../prebuild.sh: line 55: can't create ..//Application/Startup/se_key.s: nonexistent directory../prebuild.sh: line 56: can't create ..//Application/Startup/se_key.s: nonexistent directory../prebuild.sh: line 135: can't create ..//Application/Sta

Does anyone know what is causing this error and how to fix it in STMCubeIDE?  As shown, this is specific to STM32F107VCT as it may be that STM32F4 does not see this. Buildable code cannot be generated.Thanks!@Amel NASRI

Hi, I want to understand, Is it possible to license STLINK-MINI to use on our stm32 mcu based custom evaluation boards(commercial purposes) ? If possible how do we proceed about it to get the licensing cost , terms and conditions. Thank you

Hi,seems like TouchGFX Designer is unable to create a compilable folder structure for TrustZone-enabled U5 projects. So far the workaround is to use a separate non-TrustZone project and then manually sync all the changes made by TouchGFX Designer back to TrustZone-enabled one. This is very inconvenient and error-prone way to do work. The ST stuff has been made aware of it and the answer was "We are working on it". TouchGfx version was 22.0 that time. Is there any progress on this matter?  Seems like recent TouchGFX updates didn't fix the problem.Thanks.

Hi everyone. I set a flag, and checked it in handleTickEvent of any page. I give new location to images when the flag is set. I have a problem in this point. Sometimes(approximately 1/50 flag set), i see random color on some pixels. I research this problem at now. Do you have any idea about this problem? If i can find source of this problem, i will think the solution. I need to ideas about source of this problem. I have take many photos about this problem. You see that in following SS.Info:STM32G0B1EXT FLASH IC Best regards,

Hello, please I need a confirmation about RDP level2 and WRP combination on stm32g031 chip.Based on RM0444.Rev5 Table 19, if I use my own bootloader and I write-protect the flash sectors, I have to avoid activating RDP level2 or I'll loose the opportunity to update any firmware (application and/or bootloader itself) even from inside the microcontroller. Is that correct? If it was correct: so why, generally speaking, one should go with RDP level 2 when RDP level 1 is enough to prevents useful data to be read-out from the main flash?Just to avoid any firmware update from the outside world? Thank you

Hello,Is there any documentation or source code to use ULPL with USB3343? Even I am not cleared USB3343 chip could be used for external High-Speed USB support to STM32F407. Or suggest me any chip with low complexity, I aim to achieve high-speed data transfer from PC to Memory to stream ADC Data and DAC data.

Hi, when I inserted keyboard/mouse to USB host port, nothing happened (log console) and this even cause usb host stop working then. But when I inserted keyboard/mouse to a hub and connect this hub to usb host port, everything working fine. The problem is only happened with hid (keyboard/mouse). When I used USB thumb drive, it works just fine, no need the hub.The chip I used is STM32MP153 and this is custom buildDoes anyone know why or any hint? Thanks.

Hi guys, I'm using RM0421 as reference for my develop work. But find some error in Chapter 5.1 Table 6.The end address of 256KB Code Flash block 4 and block 5 should be 0x0113FFFF and 0x0117FFFF.Is that correct? Kind regard!

For the VL53L4CD,Is there a default ranging frequency that can be set to the highest ranging frequency of 100Hz?How to set ?

Hi.I am using SDMMC1-eMMC(16GB), SDMMC2-SD Card connected on a custom board. Both eMMCs and SD-Cards use FatFS as their file system. Both work fine when used alone. However, if you use f_open or f_write on FatFS on eMMC, you sometimes get an error and the FatFS becomes unusable afterward. My settings are as follows.  I tried to find the cause by disabling all device drivers and features and then enabling them one by one.The problem I found was that FatFS on eMMC often caused problems if the ability to receive UART data via DMA was enabled. void MPU_Config(void) { MPU_Region_InitTypeDef MPU_InitStruct = {0}; /* Disables the MPU */ HAL_MPU_Disable(); /** Initializes and configures the Region and the memory to be protected */ MPU_InitStruct.Enable = MPU_REGION_ENABLE; MPU_InitStruct.Number = MPU_REGION_NUMBER0; MPU_InitStruct.BaseAddress = 0xD0000000; MPU_InitStruct.Size = MPU_REGION_SIZE_16MB; MPU_InitStruct.SubRegionDisable = 0x0; MPU_InitStruct.TypeExtFiel

STM32WB55RGV MCU is in use, and BLE_HeartRateFreeRTOS example is under review. In the example of BLE_HeartRateFreeRTOS, it was confirmed that the STOP2 mode function was included, but I don't know the Stop mode entry conditions. And I wonder if I can set the BLE ad timeout in the BLE_HeartRateFreeRTOS example.Or let me know if you have any documentation that explains this example in detail...This is because I want to know information such as current consumption in STOP2 mode.

Hello. I am trying to modify my s19 file which is generated for stm8 using stvd and cosmic c compiler. Consider an S19 file which starts from 0x4000 address [EEPROM starting address]The first two lines would be : S123400000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000009CS123402000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000007CI want to know what is the meaning of the first characters S123 and the last byte 9C/7C etc. This is important for me to understand the logic to modify the s19 accordingly.

With its latest policy to download Cube IDE, I tried to firstly give my email and received a link via email from STM. But the link turned out to be dead (no response at all). Then I registered an account and logged in. This time clicking "Get software" kept me hanging. (a forever loading page before accessing available software.) Does anybody have any solution on it?

The ST60A3H1 looks very interesting. While I understand an NDA is required for access to the complete details on this solution, would it be possible to say if it works underwater as communication between ROV modules?Scenario:IC A | 1mm air or mineral oil | 5mm plastic | ~5-10mm (sea) water | 5mm plastic | 1mm air or mineral oil | IC BWould this work at all? Even when only working at lower speed (for example USB FS / 12Mbit) this would be interesting.

I have a LSTM model which was quantized using TensorFlow dynamic, full and float16 quantization. After that, I wanted to benchmark these three quantized models on the STM32AI model zoo. But after importing these models into the web UI and pressing "Start", I get the following error message: >>> stm32ai analyze --model dummy_model_0_stateful_int.tflite --allocate-inputs --allocate-outputs --compression none --optimization balanced --series stm32f4 --target stm32f4 --name network --workspace workspace --output output Neural Network Tools for STM32 family v1.7.0 (stm.ai v8.1.0-19520) NOT IMPLEMENTED: Unsupported layer types: READ_VARIABLE, VAR_HANDLE, ASSIGN_VARIABLE, CALL_ONCE, WHILE, stopping. I would be really grateful for ideas or insides on the problem :)

Hello,I evaluated the VL53L5CX and it works pretty well. Unfortunately I cannot use it in my application because it has a RAM based firmware (flash memory consumption and maybe boot time also).1) Is there a way to easily find out which of the sensors are RAM / ROM based?2) Will there also be a ROM based version of the VL53L5CX?

Hi everyone, I'm using a STWINBX1.Some documentation say that RTC can be plug to Vbat. In my case, my board won't be plug to current and will only work with a battery. My question is simple, is RTC can "remember" date and time if the battery run out of energy ?I read that some RTC on modern computer can work without battery, with a crystal. But I can't find a similar information for my board. Thanks

Hi.A custom board was built using the STM32H753XI. The board contains 16MB SDRAM and we want to use it with an LTDC to display a screen on a TFT-LCD.I used the embedded wizard to create the UI and verified that it displays correctly on the LCD screen. However, flickering occurs on the LCD when the screen is switched or parts of the screen change.I rechecked the clock, SDRAM, LTDC settings, etc. but couldn't find the cause.I've attached the datasheets for the parts I used as files. 1.
