I have the following questions and need help:1. Can this transistor be used at a frequency of 900kHz? Can it only be used in frequency bands above 1MHz?2. The data sheet provides a test circuit under 30MHz conditions. We do not fully understand the functions and principles of the FB2 and T2 components. Can you explain it to us? We guess that the function of this component should be for impedance conversion. Can the FB2 and T2 components be replaced with a simple and easy-to-understand transformer impedance conversion form (FT-43 core) like the previous stage?3. Is the output of the 30MHz test circuit given by the data sheet sine wave? L1, L2 should play a low-pass filter, but I see its winding method did not understand, can you explain?4. We want to imitate the 30MHz test circuit and apply it directly to the production environment. Are there any other issues worth noting during this process?

Hi, everybody. I am repairing a machine that uses the IC TH2008-01 from STMicroelectronics, but I need the data sheet. Can you please send it to me? Thank you.

I'm looking for some instructions on how to develop firmware for the Portenta H7 using the Portenta Breakout Board with the STM32CubeIDE. Before ST Microelectronics comes back and says they can't help because the H7 is not their product, that is unacceptable. If this is the case, it may be time to look at other vendors (Nvidia). STM can only benefit from helping developers write software for the Portenta H7 using the STM32 suite of development tools.

I'm using a custom board with the STM32WL5MOC. I've noticed that the last three 32-bit words of the OTP have been written to the values: FF FF FF FF FE FF FF FF 02 00 10 38 D1 DB AF 46This makes the OTP 16 bytes shorter. Is this intentional, or is it a bug?

I am pretty new to STM32CubeIDE and am trying to build the example project for I3C_Controller_Direct_Command_DMA using the STM32Cube_FW_H5_V1.2.0>Projects>NUCLEO-H563ZI>Examples>I3C>I3C_Controller_Direct_Command_DMA project example and following this example document.Following the document, i needed to have this code in the desc_target1.h so i started there. At first, this header was not in my project, or i couldn't access it, so i imported it manually which fixed that problem and this is the code that was in it by default. The problem I'm facing is the errors I am getting. "unknown type name 'TargetDesc_TypeDef'" "'DEVICE_ID1' undeclared here (not in a function)" "excess elements in scalar initializer" etc.Am i not including this header file correctly? Am i missing more files for my project? Am i not following the example correctly? Please if anyone has any insight i would greatly appreciate it.

Hello everybody, in the latest CubeMX ver 6.11.0 I found that it's possible to generate a CMake project. What are the steps to run the build of the code from Windows shell or VS Code ? Is there a tutorial ? If I open the CMake project from CubeIde (v 1.15.0) then I'm not able to build the code, the Build command is disabled. Instead, if I follow the doc AN5952 I'm able to build the code also from CubeIde, it seems that the CMake generated files are different if I generate the CMake project files from scratch by using the AN5952 and if I generate the CMake project files from CubeMX 6.11.0   Thanks   Max

Hello,According to the datasheet PB7 can be used as  ADC_IN11.Is this an error in datasheet? ADC_IN11 is already used by PB10 and cubeMX doesn't seem to allow me to use PB7 or to remap this pin. How can I use ADC_IN11 on pin PB7 as mentioned in datasheet? Thanks

Hello everyone! I'm a novice and I've never used an STMicroelectronics component before.I just downloaded the ST BLE Sensor application to connect to my SensorTile.Box Pro. It recognizes it and everything seems fine so far. I also noticed that there's an option to connect it to a Mosquitto broker, so I entered the URL, port, username, and password, also selecting the features it should send. I noticed that the topic is deviceid/Features, so I created a new node on Node-RED to visualize the data. The app ST BLE Sensor tells me that the connection to the broker was successful, but I'm not seeing any data on the dashboard. Can anyone provide me with some further clarification? Thanks :)

Hello everyone!I would like to ask you for some advice on how to configure the STEVAL-WLC38RX board in the WPSTUDIO GUI so that it receives 5W power. The STEVAL-WLC38RX board is placed on the STEVAL-WBC86TX at the distance shown in the photo. I would like to obtain 5W power to simulate wireless charging of a smartphone for example.I am supplying the board with 8V (WBC86TX) and I have connected a 5 ohm resistor between VOUT and GND of WLC38RX. In addition, I wanted to know if it is possible to display the power received by STEVAL-WLC38RX via the CHARTS of WPSTUDIO, as on the receive side there is nothing unlike on the transmit side.Via the GUI I can only graph the trends of RX PWR and TX PWR on the transmission side. Is this normal? Thanks for your help

Hi,I am trying to implement STemWin v5.22 for an F4 MCU. I made sure to provide a path to the static library and included all the other necessary files. However I still get this error:../Lib\lib_STemWin522_CM4_GCC.a(GUI_Core.o): In function `GUI__Config': GUI_Core.c:(.text.GUI__Config+0xc): undefined reference to `GUI_X_Config' collect2.exe: error: ld returned 1 exit statusGUI_X_Config is defined in GUI.h of the STemWin library, to which there is a path provided.I don't really understand why there is still an unresolved dependency. Are there other files necessary for this STemWin version? I only got the static library from some online repo, not the official ST website. I don't think this version of STemWin is available anymore

I am using the latest version of the STM32CubeProgrammer (v2.16.0) and am connected to a STM32F405RGT6 via an ST-LINK/V2.The problem is finding the nBoot0 and nBoot1 settings under the Option bytes tab in the software. Does anyone know where I can find this? I have seen other people having these settings under the User configuration but I dont seem to have does. See image.Thank you.

In the STM32CubeIDE I have several yellow triangle warnings. I have read in some other posts this is just that some features of that cannot be enabled due to your current settings. However, in my case I have very many and on all Timers. I am struggling with the UART connectivity and maybe thought these triangles could cause it. See image below: Thank you

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out regarding an urgent matter with my STM32 CubeMX v6.1 project. I have encountered an issue with the I2C functionality that I cannot seem to resolve despite trying various approaches. The specific problem arises with the following function: I have attempted to implement this function across different STM microcontroller units, including STM32WB10, STM32F750, and STM32F103, but unfortunately, the issue persists consistently across all of them. It's worth noting that I have verified the hardware compatibility by successfully testing it with Arduino and ESP32 platforms.Given that I have a project deadline looming, I urgently require your assistance in resolving this matter. Any guidance or insights you can provide would be greatly appreciated.Thank you very much for your prompt attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.

I'm encountering an issue with NFC functionality on iOS, specifically related to reading multiple areas. I have an NFC tag that stores data across three distinct memory areas. Using an Android device, I can effortlessly access all three areas with just one tap. However, when attempting the same on iOS, I receive a message stating, "Read of several areas or capacity limit: not yet managed." I'm curious to know if this limitation is inherent to iOS or if it's a feature that hasn't been implemented in your test app. Thank you in advance for your assistance

All:Setup - STM32H723 with VREFP = 3.00 VI have connected internal temperature to ADC3, and I am able to display degrees C on "Live Expressions". With VREFP set to 3.00 V, I am seeing lower readings than ambient. Using __HAL_ADC_CALC_TEMPERATURE( ), I am seeing internal temperatures of 21 - 24 C, vs. ambient temperature of 25.8 C.Is there a variation based on VREFP? (Earlier on Nucleo board, I was seeing internal temperature of 30 C with VREFP of 3.3 volts.)Regards,Todd Anderson

Hello,I have made a custom RFID reader board design which is similar to the X-NUCLEO-NFC08A1. However, it powers antennas in single ended mode with a cable through a u.fl connection. I am running the example code for the X-NUCLEO-NFC08A1 on this custom reader and it is not working. How would I get it to work? The code seems to be running fine on the arduino IDE however the TX pin is not lighting up at all, suggesting that a reader field is not being generated. I suspect the reason for this is that the (#define ST25R3916_REG_IO_CONF1_single   (1U<<7))  register in the st25r3916_com.h file needs to be changed from differential to single ended however I don't know how to do this. Help would be appreciated. Thanks,William

I am using MX25 NOR flash memory 256Mbit (https://www.mxic.com.tw/en-us/products/NOR-Flash/Serial-NOR-Flash/Pages/spec.aspx?p=MX25L25645G&m=Serial%20NOR%20Flash&n=PM2075#Technical-Documents) and I am mounting a littleFS file system on it. The memory communicates through SPI with an STM32L562 microcontroller. After writting and reading files multiple times (more than 100) I get a hard fault. MX25_CMD.c is provided by the memory manufacturer and calls HAL_SPI_Receive(). It seems that the hard fault occurs in SPI_WaitFifoStateUntilTimeout().I am really blocked by this issue and I don't know towards which direction to look for solutions. Does anybody have any suggestions? The function calls (from recent to older) before the hard fault:SPI_WaitFifoStateUntilTimeout() at stm32l5xx_hal_spi.c:3’989 0x80338f6SPI_EndRxTxTransaction() at stm32l5xx_hal_spi.c:4’101 0x8033ae2HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive() at stm32l5xx_hal_spi.c:1’535 0x8033566HAL_SPI_Receive() at stm32l5xx_hal_spi.c:1’020 0x

Hey there,i want to reach my flash memory through UART. I can do this with ST-Link device but now i want to do it with UART. I use STM32F091CC MCU and as datasheet says i configured the UART pins(PA9-PA10) as Asynchronus UART in CubeMX.My baud rate is 9600 bits/s- word legth 8bits - parity - even and stop bit is 1.In boot mode configuration. I try to use all configurations but i cannot reach the flash memory.I coded all options(set and clear bitss) in main.c program and when i click connect button in cube programmer it gives me an error like that:Please help me how to solve this problem. Hello guys!I'm using USB custom HID on STM32G0B for an application alike the mouse demo on "STM32G0C1E-EV" HAL package. But instead a button sending the Report, a PC software sends a 64 bytes Report to get another 64 bytes as answer. In fact, this same code worked flawless on STM32H750 but on G0, I'm always getting a "loopback" answer after "USBD_HID_SendReport()" function, with some garbage bytes. I'm suspicious of the "USB_WritePMA" function, as it put a byte pointer to word buffer...Do you guys have any tip about this? Thanks again!

Hi, I'm interested in using Timer 1 on my STM32F439ZI to decode the quadrature signal from an encoder but TIM1->CNT doesn't appear to change. I'm not sure what is missing, the TIM1 config looks like: static void MX_TIM1_Init(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN TIM1_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE END TIM1_Init 0 */ TIM_Encoder_InitTypeDef sConfig = {0}; TIM_MasterConfigTypeDef sMasterConfig = {0}; /* USER CODE BEGIN TIM1_Init 1 */ /* USER CODE END TIM1_Init 1 */ htim1.Instance = TIM1; htim1.Init.Prescaler = 0; htim1.Init.CounterMode = TIM_COUNTERMODE_UP; htim1.Init.Period = 65535; htim1.Init.ClockDivision = TIM_CLOCKDIVISION_DIV1; htim1.Init.RepetitionCounter = 0; htim1.Init.AutoReloadPreload = TIM_AUTORELOAD_PRELOAD_ENABLE; sConfig.EncoderMode = TIM_ENCODERMODE_TI1; sConfig.IC1Polarity = TIM_ICPOLARITY_RISING; sConfig.IC1Selection = TIM_ICSELECTION_DIRECTTI; sConfig.IC1Prescaler = TIM_ICPSC_DIV1; sConfig.IC1Filter = 10; sConfig.IC2Polarity = TIM_ICPOLARITY_RISING; sConfig

Hi, In my application, I'm using SPI (SPI1, a full feature set instance) with CRC enabled, on STM32H563ZI, with the configuration as:I have a CRC implemented based on CCIT standard, which I call 'software CRC'I see different CRC values for the same bytes of input from the micro and software CRC. Fig1. Software CRC which is 0x8B2C (the last 2 bytes shown in Logic Analyzer, with msb first configuration)Fig2: CRC from ST which is 0x5D0C for the same input. My software CRC calculation is not wrong and is verified using this calculator (https://crccalc.com/) which yields 0x8B2C. Kindly help in understanding why the 'hardware' CRC is different from 'software'.

Many customer face dongle driver issues, most because Unable to load DLL 'HidDongle.dll'.  @sjones i post your request in the forum. Key points: This eval board has an on board FT260, which should take care of the I2C to USB (HID) interface without a dongle The FT260 doc by FTDIchip says: The FT260 is a full speed USB device which supports I²C and UART communication throughstandard USB HID interfaces. The USB HID class is natively supported by most operating systems.A custom driver is not required to be installed for the FT260 So drivers should not be needed. Hello, I am trying to understand how and in which order exactly events are dispatched to drawables in the draw tree. I was not able to find any information regarding this topic on the touchgfx documentation website. I have two use cases for which this would be relevant:1. I have a scroll list of custom containers which contain several clickable items. Drag events on the scroll list are intercepted by the touch areas of the clickable items. This makes the scroll list difficult to scroll as you have to hit the tiny spaces in between the clickables for the drag event to register.I saw two posts on this forum regarding a similar problem:Thread 1 Thread 2 The accepted answers in both of them did not fix my problem as my application does not allow me to override the touch handling on the view level. The answer given by @GMeur in thread 2 was closer to what i was looking for but only works for me when the scroll list template object itself is clickable. In my case only the chil

Dear All,I am developing an application on the STM32F746 that uses TouchGFX. I am able to load some images from my SD card to the primary cache and I am able to display the images individually on the screen. But when I try to display them together I am struggling. One of the images has unknown size at compile time, since it is loaded from the SD card. This is what does my screen look like in the TouchGFX designer:Both DynamicBackground and DynamicIcon_1 use the same configuration:At times, in my application I need to be able to show one of them or both of them. The location of the image is supposed to be passed by the application. What I am experiencing is that if I try to draw one image, while the other is already being drawn, I am getting a hardfault at this point:From what I have seen so far, if I set the alpha of each image less than 255, then I am not experiencing this issue. But I am trying to understand why does this happen and if there is a fix that does not require to change the
