Hi all. I am aware that this topic has been discussed before here:  https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-products/debugger-hangs-at-scb-enabledcache/td-p/640648 and here: https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus/dma-is-not-working-on-stm32h7-devices/ta-p/49498 and I seem to have run into the same issue whilst debugging my project.The project itself is a fairly straighforward TouchGFX generated GUI on the STM32H750B discovery kit which I have imported into CubeIDE for further development.  Thus far I have added USART and SPI peripherals as the H750B must communicate with other MCUs. I'm using CubeIDE Version: 1.16.1 and the project is imported from TouchGFX Version: 4.24.1I can not be sure whether the addition of these peripherals has generated the problem or, whether the problem is inherent in the undelying architecture but either way, I am perplexed.The debugger hangs in the following function in core_cm7.h:__STATIC_FORCEINLINE void SCB_EnableDC

Hello,I am currently reviewing the S2-LP transceiver for high-bitrate/long-range communication in the 915MHz band. To achieve that, I want to interface an S2-LP with a Skyworks SE2435L front-end, as shown in the FK915V1 Evaluation board. I would like to know if it is possible to use a Balun from ST like the BALF-SPI2-03D3 to match the impedance of the transceiver with the front end. I am asking this question because in the FK915V1 schematic, the RX and TX paths are distinct, whereas using the Balun implies connecting the PAIN and TR pins of the front end together.Can this approach yield good result or am I wrong?Also, what is the recommended balun for the S2-LP, BALF-SPI2-03D3 or BALF-SPI2-01D3 ?Thank you,Robin

Hi,I use the memory management function to generate a custom ld file, but the generated ld file is wrong.

Hello All,I am getting this error while compiling the project " The float formatting support is not enabled ".I have checked use float with "printf from new lib-nano" in MCU/MPU settings save and recompile the problem didn't go!!I have added manually "-u_printf_float" in MCU/MPU GCC linker with no success.I am using the latest version of stm32cubeide 1.16.1 the MCU is stm32g031f6p6.my code in while loop: HAL_ADC_Start(&hadc1); HAL_ADC_PollForConversion(&hadc1, 20); voltage = (HAL_ADC_GetValue(&hadc1)/4096) * 3.3f; printf("Voltage = %0.2f\n", voltage); HAL_Delay(1000);

Hallo to everybody.Still working on SPI&Display  adapting a code for M4 (see Different data after the 1st transfer using SPI via DMA ).I need to write only one byte at a time due to control pins of display.Starting from a NUCLEO-H563ZI and LL example "SPI_OneBoard_HalfDuplex_IT_Init" (it work!) I'trying to do it without interrupt. So, the code is like this:Spoiler (Highlight to read) LL_SPI_SetFIFOThreshold(SPI1, LL_SPI_FIFO_TH_01DATA);LL_SPI_SetFIFOThreshold(SPI2, LL_SPI_FIFO_TH_01DATA);LL_SPI_Enable(SPI1);LL_SPI_Enable(SPI2);while(!LL_SPI_IsActiveFlag_TXP(SPI1))    {}LL_SPI_TransmitData8 (SPI1, 0x55);LL_SPI_StartMasterTransfer(SPI1);//(wait for RXP flag)val = LL_SPI_ReceiveData8(SPI2);  //or belowwhile (!LL_SPI_IsActiveFlag_TXC(SPI1))    {}val = LL_SPI_ReceiveData8(SPI2); //other place! LL_SPI_SetFIFOThreshold(SPI1, LL_SPI_FIFO_TH_01DATA);LL_SPI_SetFIFOThreshold(SPI2, LL_SPI_FIFO_TH_01DATA);LL_SPI_Enable(SPI1);LL_SPI_Enable(SPI2);

  I am facing an issue connecting the STM32F4 NUCLEO-F429ZI board to an HMI screen that uses RS232 and RS485 communication standards. The HMI can communicate successfully with my computer, but the STM32 board cannot communicate with the computer except through UART3 and using a direct cable connection. This prevents me from establishing communication between the STM32 board and the HMI screen. Could you please help me identify what might be causing this issue and how I can resolve it? Thank you!

Hello,I am interested in implementing a static version of the NanoEdge AI Anomaly Detection for the ISM330ISNTR. That means I would like to us the trained knowledge from NanoEdge AI Studio for the library and not have to run a learning cycle after each power up, because my application requires many short uses, where a learning sequence each time would be very hindering. Is this at all possible?Many thanks in advance :)

Hi,is it generally possible to program/read/erase an external connected Flash-Memory (e.g. Quad-SPI-Flash) with STM32CubeProgrammer via USART bootloader? I'm using the STM32L496-DISCO board for test.External loader MX25R6435F_STM32L496-DISCO selectedBOOT0 connected to VddCOM1-RX/TX/GND (3.3 V level) connected to MCU USART3 bootloader pins PC10/PC11/GND With upper configuration MCU-Flash program/read/erase is possible, but no access to Quad-SPI-Flash (address = 0x90000000), see picture. With selected ST-LINK probe access to Quad-SPI-Flash is possible. Thanks in advance,Karsten

I'm using the L6981C33DR bug converter to convert 24V (from an SDR-120-24 power supply) down to 3.3V. However, I've had instances where the regulator overheats and "exploaded".The circuit only needs to supply around 100mA at startup, so the current draw isn't excessive. My suspicion is that there might be a voltage spike at startup that occasionally damages the regulator, but it happens infrequently and I haven't been able to capture it on an oscilloscope.Has anyone encountered a similar issue or have any insights on how to troubleshoot this?I've attached a picture of the schematic and PCB layout for reference. Any guidance or suggestions are greatly appreciated, and I'm happy to provide additional information if needed. Chris Salimans

hello,  Currently I use nfc5 demo to read T2T card, but the read often fails,The code is as follows.When NFC-A is detected, the type is 0, and the card is considered to be T2T static void demoT2t(void){  ReturnCode err;  uint16_t rcvLen;  uint8_t blockNum = 0;  uint8_t rxBuf[16];  err = rfalT2TPollerRead(0, rxBuf, sizeof(rxBuf), &rcvLen);  printf("err %d\r\n", err);  platformLog(" Read Block %d: %s %s\r\n", 0, (err != ERR_NONE) ? "FAIL" : "OK Data:", (err != ERR_NONE) ? "" : hex2Str(rxBuf, rcvLen));} These cards are detected in the code as T2T type, and there is no encryption, and I can see from the app read that the keys are all 0xFF，I wonder what went wrong, thanks

Hi all,Version: 1.15.1MCU : g473Before investigate deeply on my own I wonder whether if anyone have faced the same problem with Interrupt table in general ...I placed a breakpoint there :void SysTick_Handler(void){/* USER CODE BEGIN SysTick_IRQn 0 */ /* USER CODE END SysTick_IRQn 0 */HAL_IncTick();/* USER CODE BEGIN SysTick_IRQn 1 */ /* USER CODE END SysTick_IRQn 1 */}and surprisingly the code is never executed !Best regards,

I need UART to use printf, but it's showing as disabled. How can I enable it, and I also need an example code for printf.

I checked the datasheet and there is a memory map of 521Kbyte.But I use the stm32h523VCT6 chip.This chip has 256Kbyte of memory.Can't a chip with 256Kbyte of memory use bankswap?If it can, can you tell me the memory address?

 Bonjour à tous, quelqu'un pourrait m'aider à trouver la référence de cette diode ou un équivalent, car je ne trouve pas la fiche technique sur internet, je vous remercie d'avance pour vos réponses

Hi: I'm a "newbie" to STM processors. I have a board with the STM32H745BIT3 processor on it. I'd like to get the board to initially communicate via FDCAN to my laptop. My laptop has a PEAK FDCAN device on it. Is there a base CubeIDE project or .ioc file out there that I could use to initially get a prototype project running to communicate with the laptop. Once I get initial communication working, I plan on trying to use the emotas CANOpen stack. Any comments regarding FDCAN communication on a H745 processor is much appreciated.

im trying to create a project that write something in the serial monitor(raed/write) . i followed many tutorials step by step but i everytime my serial monitor doesnt print my message( i used tera term/putty/and even the serial monitor in the ide "command shell console". - i already fixed the baud rate to 115200- i already confugured the usart3 pins pd8 and pb11 or pd8 and pd9 for RX and TX-i already activated the NVIC settings in usart3 menu- this is the code that i used in while(1) part : while (1){/* Transmit "Hello, World!" over USART3 */char msg[] = "Hello, World!\r\n";HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart3, (uint8_t*)msg, sizeof(msg) - 1, HAL_MAX_DELAY); /* Add a delay to avoid flooding the serial monitor */HAL_Delay(1000);}  the code was built with 0 errors 0 warningsis there something that i misssed or i need to ckeck or did wrong im using stm32f407G disc1 board and it's only connected to the c through the cable

Hi all,I have a Nucelo-H7S3L8 board running the demo application. The project has 2 applications (boot, and application). The boot is supposed to jump to the application, which is located in the external MX25UM25645GXDI00 memory. However when debugging the boot application the BOOT_Application() function returns "BOOT_ERROR_MAPPEDMODEFAIL". My configuration for the MX25UM25645GXDI00 is attached to this post.Any hints or guidance will be greatly appreciated.

I have two STM32F407IGT6 chips, and I need help understanding the markings printed on their surfaces.Images attached:First chip: "STM32F407IGT6 AA295 VQ 6 TWN AA 342"Second chip: "STM32F407IGT6 VQ249473 AA297 TWN AA 318"I would like to know:What each line of the markings represents?How to verify the authenticity of these chips?If there are any important differences between these two chips based on the markings?Any detailed guidance or resources to decode this information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hello, I'm trying to find more information regarding ThreadX's on-the-fly properties update feature. In the ST Wiki article, there is mention of this feature, but none of the links and webpages seem to provide any details regarding what this feature is or how to use it. Introduction to THREADX - stm32mcu Is the on the fly update the same as 'over the air' updates? Are there any articles about this feature? Have there been any coding examples showing how this feature is implemented?Thanks

I am using a Nucleo-H743ZI as a SPI slave device for the following coms method: Master Pulls SS low, Delay 1ms. Master Transmit/Receive 1 Byte (Wait for high busy line) Slave RXP Interrupt-> Lower Busy Line Slave Transmit/Receive 1 Byte Slave Process Byte, Set next transmit byte Slave Raise Busy Line Master Transmit/Receive 1 Byte Repeat untilldata is done Master Raises SS The Master is acting properly and the slave receive is correct; however, the slave transmit is two bytes behind. For now I have hard coded the transmit to send 5. All the data is received correctly by the slave in this time but the slave does not transmit 5 until the third byte is received.SLAVE SETUP: hspi1.Instance = SPI1; hspi1.Init.Mode = SPI_MODE_SLAVE; hspi1.Init.Direction = SPI_DIRECTION_2LINES; hspi1.Init.DataSize = SPI_DATASIZE_8BIT; hspi1.Init.CLKPolarity = SPI_POLARITY_LOW; hspi1.Init.CLKPhase = SPI_PHASE_2EDGE; hspi1.Init.NSS = SPI_NSS_SOFT; hspi1.Init.FirstBit = SPI_FIRSTBIT

I am having issues with my slave responding to my master. I am trying to lessen complexity by only using RXP on the slave, without TXP. The slave (Nucleo-H743ZI) responds one byte late.On the CS interrupt I send 0 for the first byte and enable RXP.*((__IO uint8_t *)&hspi1.Instance->TXDR) = 0; __HAL_SPI_ENABLE_IT(&hspi1, SPI_IT_RXP); __HAL_SPI_ENABLE(&hspi1);I then receive a byte and set the next transmit byte. I use FPint so the master does not send data when it is low (used for later implementation).  void spiISRSTM(SPI_HandleTypeDef *hspi) { //Receive if ready if (hspi->Instance->SR & SPI_FLAG_RXP) { HAL_GPIO_WritePin(nFPINT_GPIO_Port, nFPINT_Pin, GPIO_PIN_RESET); rxBuffer = (*(__IO uint8_t *)&hspi->Instance->RXDR); (*(__IO uint8_t *)&hspi->Instance->TXDR) = 1; HAL_GPIO_WritePin(nFPINT_GPIO_Port, nFPINT_Pin, GPIO_PIN_SET); } __HAL_SPI_CLEAR_UDRFLAG(hspi); __HAL_SPI_CLEAR_OVRFLAG(hspi); __HAL_SPI_CLEAR_EOTFLA

I am trying to program STM32 Blue pill board using Keil, and it gives the following error: "Connection refused due to device mismatch; Device connected to debug unit is different from device selected for project target STMicroelectronics STM32F103C8." I am using ST-Link debugger for programming as it does not have on-board ST-debugger. The issue is that it reads chip ID:0x2BA01477, which, I have read on other forums, is the ID read when your board uses clone instead of real STM32F103C8T6. Still, I want to program it using Keil. When I program the same setup using Arduino IDE, it is gets programmed in a perfectly fine way. Is there any other way to resolve this error in Keil using the same board or there is no other option left but to replace the board?

So I have three switches (nothing special just momentary push button) wired into the board PC2, PC3 and PA4. All are using internal pullups. PC2 and PC3 are set for rising / falling trigger IRQs and PA4 is set for falling IRQ. They all have their own ISR function and use a single callback. I am monitoring EXT -> PR register (interrupt flag) and I notice that when I push one of the buttons it will sometimes set 1, 2 or even all 3 of the flags and I never touch the other buttons. Here is an example of me pushing PC2 and 2,3,4 all went off. Sometimes only the one I want goes off as I would expect but many times multiple flags get set. There is nothing else on top of the board. It is a Nucleo-F401RE. Any ideas as to what could be going on here as I am totally confused?

I am trying to get the Ux_Device_CDC_ACM application working on the NUCLEO-U5A5ZJ-Q development board.  I see the VCOM port activated on the PC but how do I get the UART port?  It appears that the application writes from the UART port to the VCOM port and vice-versa, but it is not clear how to connect the UART.  Do I use an FTDI cable somehow? Or is it on the USB-C connector?

I have a fully working touchgfx project in the stm32f746g-dk. So far I always edit this project by just opening the touchgfx designer. Now, I need to config this project to run on the stm32u5g9j-dk2, how can I do it? I would like to avoid coping the GUI folder from one project to the other, but I haven't found any specific documentation about it on the touchgfx tutorials.
