Hello,Please i have question.for the board : NUCLEO-WB05KZ : Can I program this board with arduino IDE? If you have simple tutorial codes for BLE to get you started, please let me know.Thanks

The document UM1949 says:The original firmware demonstration to reprogram the STM32 MCU of theP-NUCLEO-IHM001, is available in binary file format from the www.st.comwebsite and it is called P-NUCLEO-IHM001.bin.Also where is the source code for that firmware?

Hi everyone,I am working on implementing the Peak Current Control Method for a boost converter. As an initial step, I am trying to interface the sawtooth waveform for my ramp signal.I have followed the ST YouTube video on this topic:"STM32G4 Series Video App Note: DAC Sawtooth waveform generation for peak current mode buck converter",but I am still unable to generate the sawtooth waveform successfully.I would be really grateful if someone could help me with this. Any guidance or suggestions would be highly appreciated!Thanks in advance! :smiling_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I'm a bit rusty on 8Bit MCU's, more used to STM32 but have to get that STM8 project done.I have a problem get TIM4 running, it might be I don't see the wood for all that trees.It gets compiled using SDCC and the header file is slightly adopted for that.here my code #include "stm8l15x.h" #define F_CPU 16000000UL #define LED0_PIN 4 #define LED1_PIN 1 static inline void delay_ms(uint16_t ms) { uint32_t i; for (i = 0; i < ((F_CPU / 16000UL) * ms); i++) __asm__("nop"); } void timer_isr(void) __interrupt(25) { GPIOC->ODR ^= (1 << LED0_PIN); TIM4->SR1 &= ~(1 << TIM4_SR1_UIF); } int main(void) { __asm__("rim"); CLK->CKDIVR = 0x0; CLK->PCKENR1 = CLK_PCKENR1_TIM4; GPIOC->DDR |= (1 << (LED0_PIN)); // configure PB1 as output GPIOC->CR1 |= (1 << (LED0_PIN)); // push-pull mode GPIOB->DDR |= (1 << (LED1_PIN)); // configure PB1 as output GPIOB->CR1 |= (1 << (LED1_PIN)); // push-pull mode TIM4->PSCR = 0

Hi, I'm using the Cube IDE 1.17 on an H5.  The HCLK is 248MHz.  When I try to configure the ADC/DAC clock to use HCLK, I get a red error.  According to the data sheet, the maximum clock to the ADC is 75MHz.  I am configuring the clock as divide by 6.Am I misunderstanding the maximum ADC clock rate in the datasheet?  The part should be able to perform 5 MSPS.Regards,Mike

Disclaimer: I don't normally use HAL, but I was trying to learn more about USB hosting so I decided to try out the demonstration application STM32Cube_FW_H7_V1.12.0 STM32H743I-EVAL USB_Host/CDC_StandaloneAs I don't have that board, I tried to hook up the LCD output to UART7, but I was surprised to find the baud rate as half what I intended.The baud rate was set with huart7.Instance = UART7; huart7.Init.BaudRate = 115200; huart7.Init.WordLength = UART_WORDLENGTH_8B; huart7.Init.StopBits = UART_STOPBITS_1; huart7.Init.Parity = UART_PARITY_NONE; huart7.Init.Mode = UART_MODE_TX_RX; huart7.Init.HwFlowCtl = UART_HWCONTROL_NONE; huart7.Init.OverSampling = UART_OVERSAMPLING_16; huart7.Init.OneBitSampling = UART_ONE_BIT_SAMPLE_DISABLE; huart7.Init.ClockPrescaler = UART_PRESCALER_DIV1; huart7.AdvancedInit.AdvFeatureInit = UART_ADVFEATURE_NO_INIT; if (HAL_UART_Init(&huart7) != HAL_OK)and my code for void HAL_UART_MspInit(UART_HandleTypeDef* huart)includes the lines P

Hello,program that is used to flash STM32H753VI processor (powered over USB) asks to disconnect and then connect again of USB connection to start with flashing. I found also a possibility to start with flashing without reconnecting USB, and that is with reseting mCU via NRST pin. I'm searching for an option to perform the same functionality programmatically. Would calling a function below do the same as reseting mCU via NRST pin?NVIC_SystemReset(); Many thanks.

Im doing a proof-of-concept on trying to run a model on the STM32N6 that does object-detection. For this, Im following this guide: https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/stm32ai-modelzoo-services/blob/main/object_detection/src/training/README.md   1. `!git clone https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/stm32ai-modelzoo-services.git` 2. `!pip install -r stm32ai-modelzoo-services/requirements.txt` 3. Im using a Pascal VOC XML dataset which Im converting using the provided scripts with the different config files as attachment in a zip-file 4. `!python converter.py --config-name dataset_config_train.yaml` 5. `!python converter.py --config-name dataset_config_validation.yaml` 6. `!python dataset_create_tfs.py --config-name dataset_config_tfs.yaml` 7. `!python stm32ai_main.py`   This gives the following error (full stacktrace as attachment): `ValueError: Can't convert Python sequence with mixed types to Tensor.`. As I believe Im following the steps correctly, Im unsure what Im missing

I have a custom PCB with the STM32G431 microcontroller and ESP32 controller. ESP32 is connected to STM via GPIO pins in order to perform firmware upgrade using STM32 bootloader protocol. Connection are as follows:ESP32 UART TX <-----> STM32 UART RX (PC11)ESP32 UART RX <-----> STM32 UART TX (PC10)ESP32 GPIO <-----> STM32 RESET pinESP32 GPIO <-----> STM32 BOOT0 pin ESP32 controller triggers the STM32 bootloader entering sequence using RESET, BOOT0 pins and sending start byte 0x7F. The problem is that with STM32G431 the ESP32 does not receive ACK (nor anything else). When I soldered STM32G474 on that PCB, everything worked fine (ESP got the ACK and was able to execute bootloader commands). I checked AN2606 and AN3155 to interface bootloader communication. For me it seemed that both microcontrollers (STM32G474 and STM32G431) are compatible to communicate with bootloader, unfortunately they are not. I triple checked both MCU Option bytes and pinouts, and it

I'm trying to make TouchGFX and the touch screen from this kithttps://www.amazon.com/OpenH743I-C-Development-STM32H743IIT6-Microcontroller-XYGStudy/dp/B07VJ32MC3/?fbclid=IwAR1bRvOE7k_TxZOqdmRFrnxOmykbauhh-5T0qpy14sX4ygGIvmJZph-JOtYwork together. They have samples in Keil for STemWin, but I want to use TouchGFX in my research. (I'm a university professor working on something to support STEM education in underserved areas.)If anyone has TouchGFX working on this board, I'd really appreciate some help getting started. I'm reading through the porting guide, but I figure why reinvent the wheel.Thanks!

Hi,I'm using an stm32mp257f-ev1 for the first time. I configured the board to boot from emmc: I flashed it using starter package image for fastboot with opteemin image. I noticed that at openSTlinux boot-time remoteproc starts M33 core with USBPD_DRP_UCSI_CM33_NonSecure_stripped.elf.I try to figured out if it's possible to avoid firmware starting at boot-time in some way without deleting it from /lib/firmware.I tried to search if there is something to change on DT or in kernel configuration, but I don't found anything usefulHere's the board boot log concerning firmware starting:[ 11.524092] remoteproc remoteproc0: powering up m33[ 11.529609] remoteproc remoteproc0: Booting fw image USBPD_DRP_UCSI_CM33_NonSecure_stripped.elf, size 144140[ 11.539164] rproc-virtio rproc-virtio.2.auto: assigned reserved memory node vdev0buffer@812fa000[ 11.550597] rproc-virtio rproc-virtio.2.auto: registered virtio0 (type 7)[ 11.551849] remoteproc remoteproc0: remote processor m33 is now up[ 11.564734] Boo

Hi ThereWhere I can find some source files for LSM303DLHCI see some ref.links there, but right now they pointed to non-existed pages on github :( Or I miss somethingAlso I found this link https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/stm32-lsm303dlhc but it contain some "Common/accelero.h" and I also can't find it on github :(Regards, Evgenij

Moved from MPUs forum.Hi, i must Use a Single Port Gigabit Ethernet PHY  that have a RGMII Gigabit Interface to connect a RMII 10/100 MbitEthernet MAC interface of the STM32H563VI MCU. Do you think it is possible to connect a Gigabit PHY chip to the 100 Mbit H5 micros??? pin out,Sure the final Ethernet Speed of the system, will be declasses to 10/100 Mbit. In particular I can't find where to connect the PA7 pin [RMII_CRS_DV] Carrier Sense... there is no CRS_DV output in the PHY gigabit device Thank you very much

I'm trying out the ST25R3911B-DISCO board to evaluate how to read data from multiple 14443A RFID tags. Under the Polling tab I can see all the UIDs for the tags near the board.  However, when I go over to the NFC Type 2 tab, if I select "Configuration" and then "WUPA->Active", the UID field will always be filled by a particular UID.  I can read data from that tag just fine.  How can I activate the other tags so I can read the data on them?  I tried typing a different UID from a nearby tag into the UID field but that just gets overwritten when I click on "WUPA->Active".  Is it possible to individually read data from any tag that shows up in the Polling scan?Thanks-R

Hi, I am looking for a ToF sensor using VL53L1X.We are currently developing a ToF sensor using VL53L1X.I have a question about the sample API VL53L1X_UltraLowPower you are using.Whenever I execute VL53L1X_ULP_CheckForDataReady within VL53L1X_ULP_SensorInit(), it always TimeOut.After examining the contents a little more, it seems that the problem is caused by the difference between the values of &temp and int_pol obtained by the VL53L1X_ULP_GPIO__TIO__HV_STATUS command. (This is the location in the picture).In other words.・What does it mean to do this setting・What does the value of temp mean?・What does &temp return?I need answers to these three questions. The microcontroller in use is EFR32MG22Also, if I use VL53L1X_ULP_GPIO_HV_MUX__CTRL, 0x11 is returned and int_pol is set to 1. Please let me know if this is even the correct behavior. I would be glad to answer your questions!Best Regards.

This is my first time developing a project to read NFC using the ST25R3916B (I bought the Discovery kit for testing). The first thing I did was open CubeMX, but unfortunately, the ST25R3916B is not listed as a supported device for code generation. Then, I downloaded the sample code for the dev kit, but according to the documentation I read, the ST25R3916B chip is on the Daughter board, while the sample code is for controlling the Mother board (without using the ST25R3916B).Does anyone have sample code for the ST25R3916B, or can you suggest any software similar to CubeMX that can generate code for the ST25R3916B?Thank you very much.

I have a application where stm32wb5mm is acting like a beacon. I got it to advertise configured data, now I am trying to advertise temperature measurement, for this, I need to dynamically update advertising data packages. So my advertising works ok, when it is just the template: /* Initialize all configured peripherals */ MX_RF_Init(); MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_RTC_Init(); MX_I2C3_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN 2 */ //UTIL_SEQ_RegTask((1 << 0), 0, task2); /* USER CODE END 2 */ /* Init code for STM32_WPAN */ MX_APPE_Init(); /* Infinite loop */ /* USER CODE BEGIN WHILE */ while (1) { //UTIL_SEQ_SetTask((1 << 0), 0); /* USER CODE END WHILE */ MX_APPE_Process(); /* USER CODE BEGIN 3 */ } /* USER CODE END 3 */ }But as soon as I enable the task that i created, the advertising stops: /* Initialize all configured peripherals */ MX_RF_Init(); MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_RTC_Init(); MX_I2C3_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN 2 */ UTIL_SEQ_RegTask((1 << 0), 0, task2);

Hi,Can someone explain me why I have to use "+1" in vector table of STM32F103C8T6: vectors: .word STACKINIT @ stack pointer .word _start + 1 @ reset vector .word _nmi_handler + 1 @ .word _hard_fault + 1 @ .word _memory_fault + 1 @ .word _bus_fault + 1 @ .word _usage_fault + 1 @ instead of:   .word STACKINIT @ stack pointer .word _start @ reset vector .word _nmi_handler @ .word _hard_fault @ .word _memory_fault @ .word _bus_fault @ .word _usage_fault @I thought that STM32F103C8T6 is 32bit processor and thus I can use: .code 32 .cpu cortex-m3 .syntax unifiedBut it is NOT true. I can use only THUMB (code 16) instructions.

Where should the RX buffer be placed?My code is running, but my device never gets an IP address assigned. I also tested this on a Nucleo H755ZI with the same issue.I'm using the latest version of CubeIDE (1.17) and the latest version of the middleware for the H7 series (Azure RTOS 3.3.0).Best regardsOskar P.

Does anyone have a memory map for the STM32H743XGH6?

I'm using the STM32H7B0, but I want to place the executable file compiled from a certain file in the project into the external flash for execution. For example, the `BSP/led/led.c` file.I've modified the linker script (ld file), added the address of the external flash, and created a new section for the external flash.MEMORY {ITCMRAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x00000000, LENGTH = 64KFLASH (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x08000000, LENGTH = 128KDTCMRAM1 (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20000000, LENGTH = 64KDTCMRAM2 (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20010000, LENGTH = 64KRAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x24000000, LENGTH = 1024KRAM_CD (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x30000000, LENGTH = 128KRAM_SRD (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x38000000, LENGTH = 32KSPI_FLASH (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x90000000, LENGTH = 8192K} .usart_in_spi_flash :{. = ALIGN(4);BSP/led/led.o(.text*) /* Place .text section of usart.o into SPI_FLASH */BSP/led/led.o(.rodata*) /* Place .rodata section of usart.o into SPI_FLASH */BSP/led/led.o(.data*) /* Place .data section of usart.o into SPI_FLASH */BSP/led/led.o(.

When I run STM32CubeIDE, the open project menu is disabled (in grey color). How can I active it?

I'm migrating source that has run for quite a while successfully on H755 to a new project so we can swap to the H733 micro for the increased memory security features.The project is not currently using the external OCTOSPI, building a reduced version that will fit in the onboard memoryI am having a run time hang with the UART8 at the very beginning of our app code after the FRTOS and main.c initialization.The situation is that the interrupt for the TX fifo watermark fires once correctly, I send the contents of the fifo, but then never fires again.  If I set a breakpoint in the ISR, then hitting that breakpoint changes the behavior and we hit the interrupt repeatedly as expected when I manually run each time.The break changing the behavior made me think of interrupt contention or tasking, no sign we ever leave our main task and I have tried setting the uart8 interrupt priority from 5 to 0 and 16, no change in behavior.Obviously there are a lot of things that could be going on, but I

Hi,For my projects I use BLE MESH.I did not find any software stack about the BLE MESH protocol for the STM32WBA54 and STM32WBA55 processors?Is it planned on your side to provide them like the STM32WB55? soon?ThanksAlain Romaszewski
