Hello,STM32F103RB microcontroller.I want to use Using one timer as prescaler for another timer mode (see figures below).I want the slave timer to increment its counter every time the master timer generates update events. But the slave timer does this regardless of the update event (incrementing occurs constantly). I can't understand why. Tell me what I did wrong? I'm attaching the code.#include "stm32f1xx.h" static void init_tim3(void); static void init_tim4(void); static void init_tim3(void) { TIM3->CR1 &= ~0x00000001; TIM3->CR2 |= 0x0020; TIM3->PSC = 0x00000000; TIM3->ARR = 0xFFFF; TIM3->CNT = 0x0000; TIM3->SR &= ~0x0001; TIM3->DIER |= 0x0001; //TIM3->CR1 |= 0x00000001; } static void init_tim4(void) { TIM4->CR1 &= ~0x00000001; TIM4->SMCR |= 0x0020; TIM4->SMCR |= 0x0007; TIM4->PSC = 0x00000000; TIM4->ARR = 0x007A; TIM4->CNT = 0x0000; //TIM4->CR1 |= 0x00000001; } void init_tim3_tim4(void) { init_tim3();

Hi, I have a custom board in which VREF+ is supposed to be 3.3V. But the actual VREF+ (pin32) is 2.xV, with drifts between power ups. VDDA (pin 33) is 3.3V.What's wrong with the circuit schematic? Can I just remove the resistor (R22) between VREF+ and VDDA? Thanks very much!

Hi,I want a GPIO pin to trigger an SPI transfer. The way that I have figured this should work is:PG3 -> TIM23 -> DMA2 -> SPI1 Here is basically what I have so far:/* Includes --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- */ #include "TypesDefinition.h" #include "SpiHad.h" #include <algorithm> #include <stm32h7xx_ll_spi.h> #include <stm32h7xx_ll_dma.h> #include <stm32h7xx_ll_gpio.h> #include <stm32h7xx_ll_bus.h> #include <stm32h7xx_ll_system.h> #include <stm32h7xx_ll_exti.h> #include <stm32h7xx_ll_tim.h> namespace mopf::sys { /* Static members --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- */ static SpiHad* g_SpiHadLocal; SpiHad* const& g_SpiHad{g_SpiHadLocal}; SpiHad::SpiHad(std::function<void()> SpiCallback, std::function<void()> EotCallback) : ISpiHad{}, m_SpiCallback{SpiCallback}, m_EotCallback{Eot

I'm trying program FLASH via serial bootloader using  STM32WL55 USART1 The an2606 indicates thatUSART-RX is PA10 pin, connected to CN7-32USART-TX is PA9 pin, connected to CN10-19I connected the BOOT0 pin to 3.3VIf after reset I send 0x7f to LPUART via ST-LINK VCOMM I get ACK (0x79) backBut if after reset I send 0x7F to PA10 using external FTDI232 adapter I'm not getting anything back.  If I check level of PA9 it shows 200mV (the PA10 is 3.3V) with FTDI connected and 0V with FTDI disconnectedThe loopback test on FTDI is working fine, so I don't suspect FTDI malfunctioningI suspect my board is not properly configured, but could not see anything that would affect PA9 and PA10 configuration. Can it be an error in a board documentation, I already spotted one error in table 18, it shows both CN10-35 and CN1-37 connected to PB6, which is probably wrong, one of them must be PB7.

When I use sleep mode while debug it sleep mode Works. But when I try runing code without using debug method it dosnot go in Sleep mode. When I chack current.When using debug method stape by stape. Respected sir/madam,We are using STM32F411CEU6 blackpill board. When we try to put our code into the flash, it says it the memory is protected. Can you suggest possible solution to solve the issue?

Hello!I bought a BlackPill board, and need to upload ("flash"?) a hex-file to it.It's for a simple musical midi controller.I tried using Arduino once, and could copy the code to the Arduino IDE app, connect the RP Pico, and upload the code to the board, done!I reconnect the Pico to my MacBook and the BlackPill is now a USB Midi controller.They also have a file for the BlackPill STMF32411, in either .hex or .bin form.I downloaded them both.I'm on a MacBook running Big Sur.The BlackPill has more ins and outs for switches, pots, etc., so I bought one.Is there a simple way to upload this file to the BlackPill without allot of technical knowledge?I should say without ANY technical knowledge?I figured out the button sequence to put the BlackPill in bootloader mode, but the few things I tried didn't work, and frankly I don't have any idea what I am doing.Just need to upload one of the two files to the BlackPill.Any help would be much appreciated.Thanks!!!

Hello,I am trying to program STM32F411CEU6 based board using STM32Cube Programmer. If I try to flash the file through DFU mode it gives an errorErasing internal memory sectors [0 1]sector 0000 does not existsector 0001 does not exist Programming through UART with an FTDI adapter works without any problem.

Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to program this MPU with the Arduino IDE.I tried to make the serial port appear but without any success.Unfortunately I have lost all reference to the purchase and it seems that RobotDyn no longer exists.I tried the following configurations:BlackPill F103C8BluePill F103C8BluePill F103C6I tried to install the bootloader with STMCubeProgrammer using the following bootloaders:generic_boot20_pc13, generic_boot20_pc13_fastboot, maple_mini_boot20I installed the following USB drivers:install_drivers.batinstall_STM_COM_drivers.batwdi-simple.exeIn all possible permutations, but I was able to program this board.And STLINK isn't even displayed, at most I see a Maple_003 port which I tried to use but without success.Where am I doing wrong ?

Hi Everyone,I have some problems with DFU on Windows 10. I use WeAct BlackPill boards based on STM32F411 MCU. This board has BOOT0 button which allow to update firmware using STM32CubeProgrammer and DFU mode.Majority of the boards can be programmed in DFU mode using STM32CubeProgrammer with no issue. Recently I got couple boards that acts very weird: those boards enters DFU mode just fine, detects by STM32CubeProgrammer and able to connect, but as soon I try to erase or program those boards - STM32CubeProgrammer says "Connection lost" and that is it. After that those boards enters into DFU mode, STM32CubeProgrammer able to read serial number, but any attempt to connect failed:  16:51:36 : STM32CubeProgrammer API v2.18.0 | Windows-64Bits 16:51:45 : UR connection mode is defined with the HWrst reset mode 16:51:45 : USB speed : Full Speed (12MBit/s) 16:51:45 : Manuf. Hello everyone,  Who so ever is seeing the post please help me out  I was trying to upload code into STM32 blackpill (STM32F401CCU6) using USB cable and STMCubeIDE and STMCubeProgrammer but I think my STM board had got locked in the DFU state and even after power cutting also the blue led is not flashing nor after hitting the reset button anything is working more over the STM32CubeProgrammer is unable to recognise the board and showing No DFU found. But my device manager is showing the STM32 Bootloader  Please help me out

Hello Team,I'm using STM32F401CCU6 Black Pill Board. I've used MCP3208 ADC from Microchip for my application. while interfacing with microcontroller, I'm unable to get readings for few test cases. as Vref is 5v and ADC is of 12bit resolution. I've tested for 0v, 2.5v and 5v. getting 4095 as correct readings while applying input to channel 5v but getting garbage/random readings on 0v and 2.5v.I've tested with another microcontroller for the same and works well.Kindly check this and let me know. Hoping to hear from you soon. Thanks and Regards,Prajwal Bhusedesign@avyannatech.com

Hi , This is the first time I am using USB on STM32F401CCU6 blackpill.I am thinking of developing stereo microphone.To start with I am USING STM32CUBEIDE for development .Selected the STM32F401CCU6 in MCU and have configured the clock to 84Mhz.In Communications , USB_OTG_FS --> selected DEVICE ONLY.In Middleware , AUDIO Class is selected.The descriptors are modified correctly and the device is detected as microphone.Have not used the AUDIO UNIT FEATURE descriptor.For now to keep it simple, I have not selected any ADC for input.To debug I have configured the GPIO PC13 as output and will toggle as per my debug purpose.The endpoint EP1 0x81 is used for the microphone data transfer to PC.The DATAOUT call back is commented since , it will not be used, have made a dummy transfer in the DATAIN callback in the file usb_audio,.c found in middleware folder. Have implemented a non blocking GPIO pin toggle every 1000ms in the datain callback.Even after the device is detected correctly , I

I Recently bought a STM32F411CEU6 . It was working fine till i shorted two pins by mistake.The STM IDE says no target found when i try to upload the code .Only the power LED turns on but the USER LED doesn't.(The ST-Link still detects my Blue pill properly)Have i Killed it ?Please help me out

Hey guys!I'm trying to run the eaxmple found in this link: https://deepbluembedded.com/stm32-serial-port-uart-with-usb-ttl-converter-pc-interfacing/I'm able to read the data from MCU serially, but when I write, the GPIO is not getting toggled. I've configured the MCU as described. I'm using blackpill v3 board. What I suspect is there is an issue with type conversions. But not sure. It would be very helpful if someone can help me with this. Thanks in advance!

HiI developed a project (for Keil-MDK) using stm32cubemx v 6.13 and a h7r7l8h6 device. Everything Ok! When cubeMX was updated for the newest version (6.14) I no longer be able to generate any initialization code as the cubeMX hangs during code generation with the information "Search needed files for the project..."There is no way past this point! Apparently this behavior is related to h7r7x devices, because with others (e.g. h747x, f767x and some g series devices) everything seems to work.Has anyone had this weird problem? If so, is there any solution? Currently my only possible solution to keep working with h7r7x devices was to downgrade cubeMX to version 6.13!!!ThanksRegards

Hi,Pretty new to STM32 but reasonably comfortable with ESP32, Pico and 40 years of C++. So old enough to expect it to be me.Cannot get blink to work with blue pill 32k using cube ide on ubuntu 23.04 with   while (1) { /* USER CODE END WHILE */ HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(GPIOC, GPIO_PIN_13); HAL_Delay(500); /* USER CODE BEGIN 3 */ }  I do set the PC13 pin to output and set the sys debug thing but nothing else aside from the code.Works fine for the neucleo board but not for this board. Also works fine with arduino so guessing the Programmer working fine. Although for neucleo I am not using the stlink v2.Please remember I am new and could easily be doing something wrong.Not at PC so maybe typos Thanks

Hello, ST experts It seems that SPI_MOSI on STM32F407 does not show a certain level. So it is vulnerable by other sources. Is that a register bit like SPI_MASTER_KEEP_IO_STATE_ENABLE on STM32U595? So that MOSI can keep a certain level. Best RegardsYang

Hi, I'm using an STM32F103C8T6 blue pill board with st link programmerand I want to print a single string hello world Can we do that with st link or we do need something else to do it ?thank you for helping

Hi, I bought a module of STM32F103C8T6 with a 0.96" LCD. I managed to find the LCD library in Keil MDK. However, I am checking of anyone has successfully ported to STM32cubeIDE?Thanks.

I am using a Bluepill Board but it is not functioning as expectedHow do I verify if the chips on my Bluepill Board are genuine or a fake knock off?

Hey there I'm new to develop STM32 software ,my setup is 2 dev kits with bluepill cards ADC sensors buttons etc (they ll use same code and comunicate each other ), I have doubt on Uart COM, because I see a problem on PA2_EX_CRONO and PA2_EX_ADC which I cant receive data from 2nd kit and code stucks on that part of process , there is an example of video what happens and the code requirements list:a.1) From the MCU RESET, test to see if the displays (4x7-SEG) are working on the shield. The test should turn on all display segments and their decimal points: and remain that way; a.2) Also from the RESET, the program should trigger an increasing timer; a.3) and should also trigger an ADC converter that samples continuously, we will read an analog value on pin PA0. The ADC sampling rate will be 5 samples / second. b) Whenever you press button A1 (PA1) on the Arduino shield, the 7-SEG display alternates the timer and ADC value every 4 seconds (2v/4s: 2 values/4 secs => timer for 4s, ADC for

First and foremost, as of this point I know virtually nothing about these MC's but through this project, I'm hoping to learn. What I'd like to get some assistance on is just a few basic pointers and perhaps direction so that I'm not chasing my tail.The project is to enable an instrument cluster from a slightly newer vehicle (2003) be used in a slightly older vehicle (2002). Most of the gauges will work by simply re-pinning the connector, but there are 2 gauges that require a PCM swap and tuning to get working, the volts gauge and the oil pressure gauge. As best I can tell, both the 2002 and 2003 rely on Class 2 serial data, interpreted by the PCM, to feed these 2 gauges. So I want to bypass the PCM, have this data from sensors feed into this hypothetical module I want to build, which will then correctly display the data I want to see on these 2 gauges.I hope this clearly explains the goal and the hurdle that exists. So what I'd like some input on specifically is how best to go about se

Hello STM32 Community,I’m currently in the research phase of a project where I’m using the STM32F103 "Blue Pill" with a SIM7600E module to send sensor data to an MQTT broker over 4G. I’ll be handling the communication via UART and AT commands.My question is: should I build my own library to manage the SIM7600 and MQTT communication, or is there an existing library or resource that could help? I’ve searched but haven’t found anything solid yet, which is why I’m reaching out.If anyone has experience with this setup or knows of a library, example code, or any useful resources, I’d greatly appreciate it!Thanks in advance!

Hello!So i would like to ask for a little help. The STM32 is kinda new for me, i always did stuff on Arduinos. So i have a LoraWan E5 wich i want to program with ST-Link V2, but as soon as i want to connect to it (to the st-link) in the STM32CubeProgrammer i get the errors below. How would I be able to connect it?
