HI ST Team,Concerning the GitHub issue https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeWB0/issues/6 In AN5289 – "How to build wireless applications with STM32WB MCUs", Table 1 lists multiple BLE stack options for STM32WB5x devices, including:stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_full_fw.binstm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_light_fw.binIn the current lib https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeWB0/tree/main/Middlewares/ST/STM32_BLE/stack/lib, only these static libs are present:stm32wb0x_ble_stack.astm32wb0x_ble_stack_controller_only.aThere is no separate stm32wb0x_ble_stack_light.a, which is expected as the lightweight alternative to the full BLE stack.Clarification Request:Can you please confirm if the *_controller_only.a is the intended lightweight replacement for the missing light.a?If yes, can you kindly update the GitHub folder README or documentation to reflect this equivalence (i.e., "controller only.a is functionally similar to the BLE light stack")?If not, can the missing light.a A varian

Hi, I am having the same issue as this previous forum post, but the question was never answered.  Voltage and temperature sense give expected readings. REG_VOLTAGE_LOW: 29; REG_VOLTAGE_HIGH:6 --- VOLTAGE: 3818mVREG_TEMPERATURE_LOW: 186; REG_TEMPERATURE_HIGH:0 --- TEMP: 23 deg from the datasheet ---> current (mA) = current_code* 11.77 / Rsense (mΩ)REG_CURRENT_LOW: 203; REG_CURRENT_HIGH: 54 --- CURRENT: 15429mVWhere the actual current for my application is 2.5A. I am using a 10mOhm current sense resistor. Indeed a multimeter reveals 25mV drop across it.  Could somebody please tell me if this is a hardware issue? I have followed all recommendations in the datasheet closely, but cannot find a reason that current is this high. Furthermore, when my application draws only 3.5mA, the current reads 18018mA Thank you very much.

Hello expert,We are developing a product using STWLC38 and are currently trying to obtain FCC certification.In order to perform the test, the following is required by the testing agency.・To output a continuously ASK modulated signal. (We only use BPP)・To be able to perform the test on the receiver alone without the transmitter.Is it possible to fulfill those requirements?Also, if you have obtained FCC certification for STWLC38, how did you do it?I don't understand if there are settings that continuously output ASK modulated signal.Also, I think that STWLC38 cannot operate without a power transmitterbecause it has AC input pins but no dedicated power pin.I'd like to ask for your advice.Regards,Ryoma

Hello, I have a problem with SysTick interrupt on STM32L072KZUX.I am using the latest version of STM32CubeIDE + the latest package for my MCU - FW_L0 1.12.3. An absolutely clean project, which was created in IDE and flashed into the device using ST-Link, starts up fine after flashing, but when the SysTick count reaches overflow and an interrupt should be called, for some reason the program goes to the wrong address (PC = 0x1ff00dd0), of course the interrupt handler itself is declared and there is a pointer to the function in the assembler file. Moreover, it does not matter which framework to use: LL or HAL. I checked the vector table both in the firmware image and in the microcontroller memory, all addresses are correct. Moreover, it does not matter how to use it. We checked it on 2 chips from the same batch, a similar program flashed into NUCLEO-L073RZ works correctly. int main(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */ /* USER CODE END 1 */ /* MCU Configuration-----------------------

Hello,I am currently using a F4 processor in HAL together with the Stm32cubeIDE.Thus the IDE generates F4 hal files which later are included in the main program.  To access the specific functions I need to #include "stm32f4xx_hal.h" in my own programs and libraries to make the HAL available in my programs.  When I later want to change the platform to an F7 processor I would need to change all the code to #include "stm32f7xx_hal.h". This is very inconvenient. How can I avoid this problem? Thanks in advance Alexander

Hello STM32 Community,I am working on the STM32F769I-DISCO board and would like to implement UDP communication using LwIP with FreeRTOS.I have already downloaded the STM32F7 series example projects, and I see that the LwIP_HTTP_Server_Socket_RTOS example is available. This project uses FreeRTOS and a TCP socket for HTTP communication. I would like to know how I can modify or use this example project to implement UDP-based communication (sending and receiving UDP packets). or any different way I should use.Could anyone guide me on the steps required to convert or extend this example to support UDP communication over LwIP in FreeRTOS?Any code examples or suggestions would be highly appreciated.Thank you!

Translated content. 我在cubemx中同时使能usart1和usb发现有个警告 I enabled usart1 and usb in cubemx and found a warning usart1的流控被usb的dp和dm复用，但是实际上我是没有开流控的 The flow control of usart1 is multiplexed by dp and dm of usb, but I actually didn't turn on the flow control   为什么同时使用usb虚拟串口和usart1收发数据的时候，发现只要usart1一发送数据，两个串口都没有输出了？？ 这是为什么呢 Why when using the USB virtual serial port and usart1 to send and receive data at the same time, I find that as soon as usart1 sends data, both serial ports have no output? ? Why is this?

I am trying to plot reference speed and measured speed on graph in Motor Pilot. But in graph why measured speed is coming before reference speed? I tried it at different speeds but response coming is same.

I have a question regarding internal PLLs.I would like to know the jitter of the PLL in the STM32H743XGH6.I could not find a PLL Characteristics table that would have the answer I want to know. I have seen posts about jitter in various other PLLs.However, I cannot decide how much to trust that information because of the different models.Perhaps it is very unlikely that these jitter values will adversely affect the system, but I would like to have some data to base my decision on. Does anyone know of any data on this?

Dear ST expert,   We want to upgrade from STM32G4 to STM32H7 dual core.       - Can you please suggest how to use CORDIC in STM32H745 series? If not then what is the best way to calculate sine and cosine of float values?         - Please suggest any alternate part no which has CORDIC and dual core combination     - Is there any other consideration needed to upgrade? We want to upgrade to dual core due to high throughput FDCAN link where one of the core, preferably M7, would be used entirely to handle FDCAN.         - Do you have any library or example codes for high throughput FDCAN link?   Regards, Jitendra Edited by ST Moderator to add the right labels

Hi, I'm not able to find any DMA available with CAN peripheral in STM32G4. After going deep search I found there's no such native DMA request available for CAN peripherals. So, I want to know is it true that STM32 controllers don't come with DMA with FDCAN/CAN. If available, then kindly share me the reference for making it work. Since, I want to have fast data transfer, and if I use the FDCAN with interrupt based, it will overload my CPU cycles. Thanks in advance.

Hi ST,I have generated dual FOC code using micro STM32F415zgtx and MC Workbench 6.4.0. I have to use STM32F767ZI in my application. Is It possible to port this software from STM32F415zgtx to STM32F767ZI and run two BLDC motors with FOC.Thanks,Rahul Deshpande

I started a new STM32G0B1 project based on the example project, ADC_MultiChannelSingleConversion, and added FreeRTOS. The default task makes the same HAL_ADCEx_Calibration_Start and HAL_ADC_Start_DMA ffunctino calls as the example, starts a periodic timer to fire every 10 ms and then goes into an infinite loop where all it does it repeatedly call  osDelay(1000).Every time the timer I started fires, it calls a function that increments a counter, toggles the green, LED,makes the same HAL_ADC_Start call the example does, delays, calls HAL_Delay(1), and then checks ubDmaTransferStatus, also the same way the example does I also print out the loop counter and the computed values from the example, plus a few more for seven altogether, and then clear ubDmaTransferStatus.But if ubDmaTransferStatus is not set, I print out a line of dashes.I eliminated the blue button entirely from the project because I'm using the timer for the same purpose..Here's the issue. the fl

Use CY7C1441KV33 to expand memory space on STM32H7A3, with the following connections：：The timing requirements for burst read and write of CY7C1441KV33 are as follows:   (1)Read timing: First read the data of CY7C1441KV33, and then add 1 to the internal address of CY7C1441KV33.(2)Write timing: First, add 1 to the internal address of CY7C1441KV33, and then write data to CY7C1441KV33. STM32H7A3 can meet the read timing requirements of CY7C1441KV33. But STM32H7A3 does not meet the writing timing requirements of CY7C1441KV33. May I ask if STM32H7A3 can use CY7C1441KV33? NOTE：The burst read timing diagram of STM32H7A3 and CY7C1441KV33 is shown below：STM32H7A3 read timingCY7C1441KV33 read timing The burst write timing diagram of STM32H7A3 and CY7C1441KV33 is shown below:STM32H7A3 write timingCY7C1441KV33 write timing

Would STM32G4 performance gets effected if runs at lower voltage (1.8V)? Can the core clock run at max 170MHZ or it will run lower speed?

I am trying to configure the LPUART on my board, but appear to be getting nowhere. I've already configured the PLL to run at 110 MHz, and I changed the appropriate registers (`SW`) to use PLL as the system clock. I've tried flashing the board with Zephyr OS just to make sure that it works, and it indeed works. When I use GDB to inspect the relevant registers (the ones changed by my code below) they appear to all have the values that I expect. I can't for the life of me figure out what is going on. Using a logic analyzer, I see 0 activity on the TX pin, which is in a constant state of high. Here is my code for configuring my LPUART (I am using CMSIS). I want a baud rate of 115200, and my board is configured to run at 110 MHz.```#include <stdint.h> #include "stm32l5xx.h" void enable_lpuart1(void) { volatile uint32_t dummy; RCC->CCIPR1 &= ~(3 << RCC_CCIPR1_LPUART1SEL_Pos); RCC->CCIPR1 |= (1 << RCC_CCIPR1_LPUART1SEL_Pos); // turn on the LPU

Hello,I would like to use the X-CUBE-CRYPTOLIB to calculate a SHA256 with a key, i'm using STM32CubeIDE 1.18.0 for an STM32u083 microcontroller, STM32CubeExpansion_Crypto_V4.2.0.The issue I have is the first time I call cmox_mac_compute the wrong result is returned. cmox_init_arg_t init_target = {CMOX_INIT_TARGET_AUTO, NULL}; if (cmox_initialize(&init_target) != CMOX_INIT_SUCCESS) { Error_Handler(); } uint8_t tResult[32] = {0}; uint8_t tMessage[63] = {153,234,98,104,200,115,43,208,16,24,124,106,63,66,15,0,0,0,0,0,250,191,113,33,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,53,231,216,222,211,203,112,30,58,145,125,101,150,57,215,149,108,50,229,247,80,239,35,157,119,19,121,218,120,231,50,70}; uint8_t tKey[32] = {173,182,187,187,244,184,224,88,49,224,82,119,184,125,189,202,255,179,154,153,213,5,120,138,162,120,25,250,40,96,170,122}; //Test 1 retval = cmox_mac_compute(CMOX_HMAC_SHA256_ALGO, // Use HMAC SHA256 algorithm tMessage, sizeof(tMessage), // Message to authenticate tKey,sizeof(tKey)

Hi, i have a question, is it possible to use the embedded STLINK on the nucleo-f446re for programming the sensortile.box (steval-mksbox1v1) ? If so, how do i have to connects the pin? I have a JTAG Adapter v1.0 (included in the sensortile box), so i'm thinking about connecting it to the sensortile using the STDC14 connector, but how do i connect the adapter to the nucleo board? Do i only have to connect the CN4 pins (SWD) from the nucleo to the adapter?Thanks for the help

Hey All,I hope you can help me. I'm trying to bring up my new board, which contains a STM32N657IO. Attached are the schematics. You can assume the 5V supply is working(it is after a few bodge wires). My problem is as follows. I'm trying to connect to the STM32N6 over SWD using a JLink. It seems the SWD communication with the Debug port is successful, but the communication with the core fails. I get the following output when trying to connect to the MCU:Device "STM32N657I0" selected. Hello ST Community,I found this forum and the example code to our custom hardware very helpful and are successfully reading both NFC-A/NFC-V and emulating NFC-A on ST25R3918.During testing, I've noticed that NFC-V tags with NDEF messages can also trigger background reads on both iOS and Android. Since NFC-V have longer ranges, would it be better to do CE using this format? At the moment the code is using demoT4T to respond to readers in NFC-A CE (RFAL_NFC_LISTEN_TECH_A) in the rfalNfcDiscoverParam.do { rfalNfcWorker(); switch( rfalNfcGetState() ) { case RFAL_NFC_STATE_ACTIVATED: transceiveBlocking( NULL, 0, &rxData, &rcvLen, &err, 0, false); break; case RFAL_NFC_STATE_DATAEXCHANGE: case RFAL_NFC_STATE_DATAEXCHANGE_DONE: txLen = demoCeT4T( rxData, *rcvLen, txBuf, sizeof(txBuf)); transceiveBlocking( txBuf, txLen, &rxData, &rcvLen, &err, RFAL_FWT_NONE, false ); break; case RFAL_NFC_STATE_START_DISCOVERY: return; case RFAL_NFC_ST

Hi,I am trying to use the STM32H5 CRC unit via HAL to calculate a CRC32 (ISO-HDLC) over multiple chunks.This works correctly via:hcrc.Instance = CRC; hcrc.Init.DefaultPolynomialUse = DEFAULT_POLYNOMIAL_ENABLE; hcrc.Init.DefaultInitValueUse = DEFAULT_INIT_VALUE_ENABLE; hcrc.Init.InputDataInversionMode = CRC_INPUTDATA_INVERSION_BYTE; hcrc.Init.OutputDataInversionMode = CRC_OUTPUTDATA_INVERSION_ENABLE; hcrc.InputDataFormat = CRC_INPUTDATA_FORMAT_BYTES; if (HAL_CRC_Init(&hcrc) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } // calculate CRC32 over two identical chunks, HCRC keeps state! temp = HAL_CRC_Calculate(&hcrc, (uint32_t *)data, strlen(data)); // 0x444a273c crc = ~temp; // 0xbbb5d8c3 OK temp = HAL_CRC_Accumulate(&hcrc, (uint32_t *)data, strlen(data)); // 0x405e36b1 crc = ~temp; // 0xbfa1c94e OKNow I need to do something similiar as in https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-products/hal-function-crc-accumulate-re-init-and-calculate/td-p/672395: the CRC unit is shared for diff

We are having a similar issue as this person here:https://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubemx-mcus/why-does-the-ioc-file-show-warnings-on-disabled-peripherals/m-p/144500/highlight/true#M5600One of the responses was that this is just a warning message and is okay.  But I think this is causing us to have an issue with using a CICD pipeline to handle project generation. When I use a build script with project generate I would expect the whole process to be done without interacting with the GUI but an empty warning message actually comes up for me to click 'yes' to before it will go any further.  I tried an .ioc file that I found online to test to see if it would also generate this error and it does not.   I am hoping there is a way to bypass any warnings generated when doing the build using a script. Any help is very appreciated.
