I'm using a STM32WL33 on 2 separate custom PCBs.  I have one of them being a transmitter only, and I have verified that the transmitter consistently transmits when the keyfob button(s) are pressed (using one of the examples on a Nucleo CC2 board to verify) I'm having issues with the receiver ceasing to recover after receiving a low-RSSI signal.  As long as the signal strength is reasonable, the HAL_MRSubG_IRQ_Callback executes, and resumes reception without issue.  If it receives a packet that is of questionable RSSI (either too far away with the keyfob or wrapping the keyfob in aluminum foil to keep my step count down :)   ), the HAL_MRSubG_IRQ_Callback doesn't execute at all once the RSSI is back to the original level, and requires a power cycle to recover.  The main loop continues to operate, it's just that the interrupt ceases to fire!  I have observed the same thing on the Nucleo CC2 PCB as well using the Chat example.  A rebo

Goal: to use embedded STM32H673/563 bootloader commands: read, write, verify flash with simple GUI on PC side. Do you have full algorithm description/implementation/full code example?

Greetings! I am testing a touch button in a custom board using stm32u585 mcu. I try to follow the following workshops available on YouTube: Workshop 1 Workshop 2 The thing is, I tested in Debug Mode like in Workshop 1 in minute 15 and I could see the Delta value changing. Since the thing was working I try to implement the touch in my project. The thing is, now Delta is staying fixed, and I have absolutely no idea why it is happening. I can see the p_Data->StateId changing (PROX, DETECT, etc) but Delta value is the same. Any clue where I could be having the problem? I did not do the "MyTKeys[0].p_ChD->Delta /= 3;" in tsl_user.c, nor in the first test, and it worked at the first time.So basically my code in main.c was something like this:  #include "tsl.h" #include "touchsensing.h" ... int main(void) { "ALL THE INITS" tsl_user_Init(); tsl_user_status_t status; while(1) { tsl_status = tsl_user_Exec(); if(tsl_status != TSL_USER_ST

Hello,im currently working on utilizing a Keras RNN (seq2seq model) on the STM32N6570-DK to generate text from a certain input. The inference of the .h5 model on my laptop works with a .pkl file that has mapping of the input to the output. When converting the model to tflite the .pkl isnt included. So my question ist, what do i need to do, to convert the .pkl mappings to make use of it when im doing the inference of the model with the generated C-Code from stedgeai?I wasnt able to find a lot of information on this topic so far, so im thankful, if anyone would be able to help me in this case!Kind regards!

My st.com user log-in includes a feature called "My Subscriptions". That causes it to occasionally send an email with updates that are relevant to me per subscriptions managed at:https://www.st.com/content/my_st_com/en/my-space/my-preferences/my-subscriptions.htmlThis page allows me to remove existing subscriptions, but is silent on how to find new subscription categories I'd like to add (and I don't know how the existing subscriptions were added over time, but they're generally useful.)In particular, I'd appreciate announcements of new stm32 series microcontrollers and microprocessors (hence why I'm posting this inquiry here with a label "documentation").How do I do this? Thanks!

Hello!Using h563zi I am trying to update the second bank firmware using an application that has a Secure Part (sectors 0-9) and a Non Secure part with Trust Zone enabled. For easier maintenance the update is done from the Non-Secure part.Settings:SECWM1_STRT = 0x0SECWM1_END = 0x9SECWM2_STRT = 0x0SECWM2_END = 0x9What we do:1) Disable the secure watermark from the second bank (can also be done in STM32CubeProgrammer)ob_program.OptionType = OPTIONBYTE_WMSEC; ob_program.Banks = FLASH_BANK2; // Using 1 for start and 0 for end practically unlocks ob_program.WMSecStartSector = 0x1; ob_program.WMSecEndSector = 0x0; HAL_FLASHEx_OBProgram(&ob_program) HAL_FLASH_OB_Launch(); HAL_NVIC_SystemReset();2) Write the sectors from bank 2 from 0x0 to 0x9 from the Non-Secure application (since the watermark protection is off)3) Do a checksum on the written data (read back from sectors 0x0 to 0x9) and check it4) Check in STM32CubeProgrammer the data manually 5) Enable the secure watermark for th

Hello wonderfull STM community,Really enjoying the experience with MotionFX so far, really easy to implement and get working, well done ST! Even on a G0 in CM0+ mode its working well! I'm just woudring three things:What precaution(s), if any, should be taken when pausing and later resuming the RTOS task that runs MotionFX_CM0P_update()?What is the refrence point for the quatenion in 6x mode? (to be fair I have not worked much with quatenions before so that might be an uneducated question. They are quite complex after all! (pun intended)) Is it normal for data_out.rotation_6x to be near 0 (e-16) during oppration in 6 axis mode? (other values, inlcuding inputs, are changing as expected)  Note that mag is just uninitialized, the values are those of what was already in memory, I should fix that, through this is the first I've noticed it.Thanks and happy coding!

Hi,Like the post https://community.st.com/t5/mems-sensors/anyone-have-v1-3-1-mems-studio-for-download/m-p/745081 , I search the older version v.1.4.2 of MEMS-STUDIO for documenting my project. Does anyone have the installers of this version ?Thanks, lxaiia

Hi,while I'm configuring the FMC interface i come cross this memory map and i couldn't understand it. Does the FMC SDRAM Bank 1 have 4 possible regions? if yes, does SDRAM Bank 2 have the same option.what about the External Memory region, are those for SRAMs and External Device for SDRAM?those kinds of questions come to my mind, if someone could help me with.most important question, I want to use SDRAM bank 1 (SDCKE 0 will be enabled) and SRAM1 (NE1 will be enabled), is this possible?i believe i have read this somewhere that it could be done, but not sure, also, is there some sort of limitation of both can be enabled together or i should use SDRAM bank 2 and one of the SRam banks and that will be more reliable and efficient?Thank you and best regards

Dear ST team,Currently, I'm testing SPC560P50L5 MCU with AutoDevKit Studio, and it is going well by importing the sample project. I have noticed that I can enable "User ADC Regular Conversions" in "Application Configuration." Now, I'm trying to control the motor's speed with a potentiometer. So, I enable GPIO-E2, which corresponds to the ADC0_AN[5] pin. Then I generate the code. After that, I can't find how to get that ADC reading in the main.c.Please help me to suggest on it to get the ADC reading from E2 GPIO. Moreover, I declare the variables (uint16_t Bus_Voltage and uint16_t Temp) in the main.c and I would like to assign it as the Bus voltage value and Temperature value from on board NTC. But I can't find the API or functions in the files to call to get those values. For example, in SDK6.3.2, I can use Bus_Voltage = VBS_GetAvBusVoltage_V(&BusVoltageSensor_M1._Super);Temp = NTC_GetAvTemp_C(&TempSensor_M1);so, please help me on it how to get those Bus voltage and T

I am confused about which clock(s) drive the timers.  In the reference manual is says the APB clock drives the timers but there are 5 APB clocks.  Also, in STM32CubeMX there is a "Timer Group Clocks".  What clocks drive which timers or is the one drives all (Timer Group Clocks)?

I'm trying to develop an application for zigbee for the stm32wb55, but i get some problems when I try to reconnect. The configuration for the coordinator its the next parameters:      - config.startupControl = ZbStartTypeForm;      - config.extendedPanId = 0x400;      - config.panId = 0x7171;      - config.shortAddress = 0x0000;      - config.networkManagerAddress = 0x7171;The configuration for the End devices are the next parameters:   config.startupControl = ZbStartTypeRejoin;   config.panId = 0x7171;   config.networkManagerAddress = 0x7171;   config.shortAddress = 0x01;   config.extendedPanId = 0x400;The first time it performs the connection well. But, when the End Device lose the connection (reboot, or whatever it takes), it cannot recconect to the coo

Hi everyone,I am trying to debug my CubeMX (CMake/Ninja) project based on the STM32H7A3VG in VSCode. When I use the elf-File in Ozone I can step through the code as expected. With VSCode the debugger seems to start, but no debugging is possible.Other controller like STM32F446x or STM32F407xx I can debug with no problem.I adapted the launch.json for the STM32H7A3VG and its M7 core also with the help of chatgpt but something is missing, I guess. Here is my launch.json:---------{    "version": "0.2.0",    "projectName": "STM32H7A3VGTest",    "configurations":[        {            "name": "Debug STM32H7A3VG (J-Link)",            "type": "cortex-debug",            "request": "launch",            "servertype": "jlink",            "serverpath": "C:/programme/SEGGER/JLink_V854/JLinkGDBServ

I have questions on the System Memory Boot Mode of the STM32G070CB MCUSetup:Access the System Memory Bootloader Mode every power cycle. Hence, I updated the Option Bytes as below:The MCU contains the Application image only; it does not contain a custom bootloader.Using Cube Programmer, configure the nBoot0 option bytes, able to run as System Memory Boot Mode OR Main ApplicationWhat I tried to do was exit the System Memory Boot Mode and Access the Main Application, but failed:Tried using the UART sending the GO Command with the Application Address 0x0800 0000, but the MCU does not work (no UART Log) Tried using the UART method to send the GO Command with the Application Address stored in the Image like below, the MCU does not work. Tried to uncomment the “USER_VECT_TAB_ADDRESS” in system_stm32g0xx.c.The MCU outputs some unexpected UART log if sending the GO Command with the Application Address 0x0800 0000            &

Hello guys,I'm new in LoRaWAN so if my question is dumb - sorry guys. Context:Initial info:custom board with STM32WLE5CCUX family MCU on it;LoRa gateway from P-NUCLEO-LRWAN3 pack;private network gateway;activation type OTAA;What is done:gateway from P-NUCLEO-LRWAN3 has been configured on TTN;End Node is configured on TTN (no problem with traffic monitoring: uplinks/downlinks);I'm having some problems with Join requests to private network gateway. When I'm connecting through gateway from P-NUCLEO-LRWAN3 pack which is in the same room as end node everything works perfectly. But when I'm trying to connect to private network gateway something goes wrong (I have configured different DevEUI for local/private gateways and when I want to switch between them I just change DevEUI). Sometimes End Node is connected after 20 minutes, sometimes after 1h the end node is still not connected to the private network gateway.I know that network coverage is very bad, but other devices someho

I have downloaded the source code of ST25PC-NFC (STSW-ST25PC002) and tried running it as it is. I am running JDK 23.0.1 and also downloaded and extracted JavaFX 23.0.1. Every time I run the MainApp, it loads the application for a second before it gets closed. I get the following exceptions (screenshot attached).

Hi All,I started to have issue with CubeIDE. It "crash" / "close itself" after few moment after startup. Log is attached. I have tried this:Uninstalled CubeIDE 1.18.1 and I have done clean install 1.19.0, without successI have created new workspaceI have disabled checking updates in CubeIDE, but without any successI have restarted computer (Win 10 Pro 22H2), temporally disabled AV software and firewall, no Windows KB update was installed before issue started (only Edge-WebView2 update 1.0.3351.48)Thank you for any adviceRegards,Jan

Hello Developers, Hello ST-Team,unfortunately we are stuck in implementing VL53L5CX on our PIC18. We see a strange clock stretching behaviour of the sensor and problem downloading the firmware. We implemented Ultra Lite Driver 2.0.0 in an application on a Microchip PIC18F57Q43 (CURIOSITY NANO Evaluation Kit) using Example_1_ranging_basic.c from the examples folder. After the adjustments of platform.c and modification of the download routine to download the 86 KB firmware in chunks, we got the following odd behaviour:- The function  vl53l5cx_is_alive(&Dev, &isAlive); returns SUCCESS = No error!- The function vl53l5cx_init(&Dev); fails.Sending the first package of data seem to be successfull. When trying to start sending the second chunk of data the sensor refuses to communicate with the MCU by returning NACK for any further byte.Has anybody an idea why the sensor behaves like that and why the sensor stretches the clock line?Even while stretchin SCL for each byte

We are currently using the AEKS MCU-SPC5 LNKU Kit to debug our custom board. However, we are encountering a "launching error" when attempting to connect to the board via SPC5 Studio. For your reference, we have attached the error image below. We would like to understand whether any specific debug configuration is required within SPC5 Studio for successful debugging.Upon investigating the issue, we came across information suggesting that a PLS UDE software license may be required. If this is the case, we kindly request guidance on how to obtain the license and activate it.Additionally, we would appreciate detailed steps on how to set up and use the LNKU Kit for debugging our custom board.Your support in resolving this issue will be greatly helpful for the progress of our project

I'm currently testing the BLE_LLD examples provided by st. I have two Nucleo Boards one running BLE_LLD_Lowpower and one running the BLE_LLD_Pressbutton example. That example works fine and I can change whatever is transmitted. If I use the same BLE_LLD_Lowpower example on one of my own PCBs with a STM32WB5MMG6  module I can only make the example work if I provide 3.3V. If I change the supply voltage to anything else than 3.3V it only transmits one package. But as soon as it enters the LL_PWR_MODE_STOP2 low power mode and wakes up from it, it seems to be stuck at some point. If I debug said example at 1.8V it keeps on running. (I think it won't go into sleep mode). If I run both examples unchanged and run the Lowpower example at 1.8V I get the same results. Is there an explanation for said behaviour? Any help appreciated

Hello, Is it possible to add the download links for the old versions of all your software's and resources, like it's the case on the web page of STM32CubeIDE ? In my case, I search to download the versions v1.4.1 and v.1.4.2 of MEMS-Studio for documenting my project. I asked to your support for this in the case 00239175 "How do I get an old version of MEMS-Studio ?", but your employee didn't find this. I think it is important to be able to get the older version of your resources for work on old projects and documenting the bugs and errors encountered. In my case, it's MEMS-Studio, but, in my feedback, I ask this for other of your resources which hasn't the same same system of the web page of STM32CubeIDE. Thanks for your time in the reading of my post. Best regards, lxaiia

I am learning to use the PWM Input mode to measure input frequency. I am using examples from the internet to help me along. In my .ioc file SYSCLK is set to 8MHz and with a prescaler set to /8 my HCLK and APB1 are set 1MhzIn the examples I studied in the callback routine Frequency is calculated either:1:   1000000 / capture_valuewhile another uses this method2:  SystemCoreClock / capture_valueMethod 1: works but in case you eventually need to change the prescaler you also need to change the constant.Method 2: sounds more robust but when I hover over "SystemCoreClock" in main.c a window comes up stating that SystemCoreClock is set to 8000000 anyway. What variable do I need to use to ensure that the value used in the calculation is in fact HCLK or APB1?

I have compared my platforms using PDM microphones related to PDM to PCM and filtering:Platform 1:STM32H747 (Portenta H7), with SW PDM2PCM filter (and optional to add post-processing)Platform 2:STM32U5A5 with ADF filter (in MCU) or external PCMD3180 chip.My favorites:STM32U5A5 with ADF: but unfortunately just mono MICPCMD3180: still room for improvements, e.g. using "channel summing" for +6dB SNR or tweaking the filtercoefficientsIn general: all filters are pretty similar. The major differences are on:the DC offset they have left (STM32U5A ADF needs for sure a HP filter)the harmonics created (distortion): just with a post-filter (e.g. on PDM2PCM) I could improvethe noise in high frequency spectrum (above 10KHz): STM32U5A5 ADF is the winner hereHere the result comparison (should be an animated GIF to see the differences):So, my conclusion: if I need a PDM MIC - use the STM32U5A5 ADF (if just one MIC needed), otherwise use external chip (PCMD3180).
