Posted on February 22, 2018 at 13:42Hello there,I am working on MSD Bootloader which I successfully Implemented  in STM32F207VETx. However while working I found that the default build expect 8.3 format file names, and not Long File Names (LFN).I tried using LFN by making following changes in ffconf.h&sharpdefine _CODE_PAGE 437&sharpdefine _USE_LFN 1    /* 0 to 3 */ / When enable the LFN feature, Unicode handling functions (option/unicode.c) must/ be added to the project.&sharpdefine _MAX_LFN 40    /* Maximum LFN length to handle (12 to 255) */&sharpdefine _LFN_UNICODE 0 /* 0:ANSI/OEM or 1:Unicode */&sharpdefine _STRF_ENCODE 0and getting the following error undefined reference to `ff_convert' which I think is a function in unicode.c So My question is where can I Find Unicode handling functions as i want to give a long name for my file#tilen-majerle #clive-one

Posted on February 16, 2018 at 22:35I just upgraded to CubeMx 4.24 and attempted to migrate a STM32F7 project .ioc file. The migration failed with a Java null pointer exception when it reached the CAN IP portion. To verify my .ioc file was not the culprit, I created a new project and the issue persisted. Posted on February 22, 2018 at 11:15hi everybody,i 'm setting the ADC on STM32L051x6.it works correctly but i have problem with conversion time. It is about 8us. To measure it i'm using a signal that is setted high at the start of conversion and low at the end of conversion. The start of conversion is triggered on a timer event and i useLL_GPIO_SetOutputPin(GPIOA, PA6); to set signal.I'm tryng to reduce this time. Can somebody help me?this is the setting code for ADCvoid LED_CURRENT_ADC_Init(void){LL_ADC_SetClock(ADC1, LL_ADC_CLOCK_SYNC_PCLK_DIV1); LL_ADC_SetSamplingTimeCommonChannels(ADC1, LL_ADC_SAMPLINGTIME_1CYCLE_5); LL_ADC_SetResolution(ADC1, LL_ADC_RESOLUTION_12B); LL_ADC_SetDataAlignment(ADC1, LL_ADC_DATA_ALIGN_RIGHT); LL_ADC_REG_SetSequencerChannels(ADC1, LL_ADC_CHANNEL_3); LL_ADC_REG_SetContinuousMode(ADC1, LL_ADC_REG_CONV_SINGLE);  LL_ADC_ClearFlag_ADRDY(ADC1); LL_ADC_EnableIT_EOC(ADC1); LL_ADC_Enable(ADC1);}this is the adc IRQvoid ADC1_COMP_IRQHandle

Posted on November 21, 2017 at 03:40I use stm32cubemx version 4.23. When I use SDIO 4bit and FATFS middleware, I see USE DMA Template option. If I choose 'disable', my code will run correctly. But If I I choose 'enable', I can't read and write data from uSDcard. I have some question :1. What does this option mean?2. What can I config (in stm32cube) to use this option?

Posted on February 21, 2018 at 23:29Hi.I've been struggling for couple days to implement micro SD card into my project. I click everything through CubeMX 4.24 with CubeF7 v 1.9.0. 4-bits SDIO, SDIO global interrupt and 2 DMA Channels for RX and TX. FatFS default.I moved to F746G discovery board to eliminate possible hardware problems but still couldn't manage to get the FatFS working. When i manually BSP_SD_init(); i get correct cardinfo, capacity and things... I also did testing procedure:BSP_SD_WriteBlocks_DMA(..)BSP_SD_ReadBlocks_DMA(..)BSP_SD_Erase(..)BSP_SD_ReadBlocks_DMA(..)with a success. But when i run project almost straight from the CubeMX i get empty cardinfo as probably fatfs does not init the sdcard. f_mounts doesn't return errors. It hangs/timouts on f_mkfs or f_open if i omit mkfs and format the card externally (FAT32). I've tried many various fatfs examples with the same results.Any known problems or possible configuration advices?#sdcard #stm32-f7 #sdio #fatfs

Posted on February 21, 2018 at 18:05Hello,Is there a simple way for the program to force a reboot of the STM32 device?  Can I programatically pull the line associated with the reset button low or is there some other way to do a hard reset on the board? Thanks,

Posted on November 16, 2017 at 09:01 Hi There! Hi have already post this issue but nothing changed from those time. May be i have ''unique'' version of qubeMX but this annoying bug chase me. When I change the Input frequemcy value I get this bug. Please look at the picture below. I can't return bach normal values - all of them in a float point state. It works for PC vercion and plugin of current wersion. Have somebody the same issue?

Posted on January 27, 2018 at 08:21Using an STM32L4xx MCU in CubeMX. Enable the CAN peripheral. Go to configuration and click CAN1 ->You'll notice that no dialog box ever appears.Same with migrating an STM32L4xx based project to the new 1.11 framework. PC CPU stays at about 50% usage and stays there for infinite time ( Well, I only let it run for 7 hours, so.... )

Posted on February 16, 2018 at 15:53I have a problem with an STM32F767 on a custom board with SDRAM and NAND SLC memory connected to the FMC.The NAND is 8 bit, the SDRAM is 32bit, so only the [D0:D7] signals are shared between the SDRAM and the NAND. When both the SDRAM and the NAND are configured & working any NAND data read is corrupted randomly. When just the NAND is configured the NAND data read is correct. The SDRAM always works fine with or without the NAND.The LTDC uses the SDRAM to hold its frame buffer - it uses the DMA2D to read the current frame from SDRAM at regular intervals. The SDRAM initialises and tests ok, I can see good display data on my display (no bad pixels or image corruption). However when I test the NAND (Erase a block, read Pages from the Block) I get random read errors that don't reproduce the next time the Page is read (1 Page = 2048 bytes). If I then disable the LTDC '__HAL_LTDC_DISABLE(&hltdc);' the NAND works perfectly with no read errors. So I conclu

Why I can't? I got a dialogue saying that My target device dose not support conditional breakpoints!Actually, I am using the STMF407 Discovery board as the <apnt_230.pdf> using. So, why? Turvey.Clive.002 http://userbadge #conditional-breakpoints

Posted on February 20, 2018 at 10:27I'm trying to use TIM2 on the STM32F0-Discovery board (I am new to the STM32, but have used the STM8 before).I setup TIM2 and USART1, then in a loop I send the value of TIM2_CNT via the USART1, so I can see how TIM2 counts. Since the USART1 stuff is working at the intended 9600 baud, I am confident that the basic clock setup is there and the STM32F0 is running at 8 Mhz.However, I see TIM2_CNT count at about 50 Mhz, no matter the value of TIM2_PSC.Here is my initialization code:&sharpinclude <stdint.h>&sharpdefine TIM2_BASE    0x40000000&sharpdefine TIM2_CR1    (*(volatile uint16_t *)(TIM2_BASE + 0x00))&sharpdefine TIM2_CNT    (*(volatile uint32_t *)(TIM2_BASE + 0x24))&sharpdefine TIM2_PSC    (*(volatile uint16_t *)(TIM2_BASE + 0x28))&sharpdefine RCC_BASE    0x40021000&sharpdefine RCC_APB2ENR    (*(volatile uint32_t *)(RCC_BASE

Posted on February 18, 2018 at 19:46Hi, I've been dissecting the FMC_SDRAM example that comes with the STM32CubeF4 package.  I'm using the STM32F429 Discovery board.  The SDRAM chip it has on it is an ISSI IS42S16400J-7TL.One thing I don't understand are some of the comments in the main.c file of the FMC_SDRAM example with respect to timing configurations.  The code sets up the AHB to run at 180 MHz, but a comment in the code says:/* Timing configuration for 90 MHz of SDRAM clock frequency (180MHz/2) */I don't understand why they're saying the configuration is for 90 MHz when the clock is configured to 180 MHz.  Additionally, when configuring the SDRAM timings, it will make comments like in the following code:/* TXSR: min=70ns (6x11.90ns) */ SDRAM_Timing.ExitSelfRefreshDelay = 7;  // 7 clock cyclesI have the ISSI IS42S16400J datasheet and understand the 'Exit Self-Refresh to Active Time' is 70 ns.  However, I don't understand what is meant by th

Posted on February 19, 2018 at 18:29Hello Everyone,            I've got some strange behavior on the M24SR tag that I'm using. The last byte of an I2C data transfer either to or from the chip is being NAK'ed and looks to be throwing off the HAL drivers in the STM32 that I'm useing to talk to it. Is this expected behaviour or is it behaving oddly and if it is oddly then does anyone have any ideas. An example of what I'm seeing is attached.ThanksLuke
