Hello.I have Init FMC, but when I try write on it, it doesn´t work.And I have a problem, data is send double, and timing is wrong. I think I have problem with init. Can anybody help me with init this pheripheral?And my test write function is here:#define BANK_ADDR ((uint32_t)0x64000000) #define FMCWRITE(uAdr,ucVal)\ *(__IO uint16_t *) (BANK_ADDR + (uAdr))=(ucVal)Init function is here:void initFMC(void) { FMC_pins();   LL_AHB3_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_AHB3_GRP1_PERIPH_FMC);   FMC_NORSRAM_InitTypeDef Init; FMC_NORSRAM_TimingTypeDef Timing;   FMC_NORSRAM_TypeDef *Instance; FMC_NORSRAM_EXTENDED_TypeDef *Extended;   Instance = FMC_NORSRAM_DEVICE; Extended = FMC_NORSRAM_EXTENDED_DEVICE;   Init.NSBank = FMC_NORSRAM_BANK2; Init.DataAddressMux = FMC_DATA_ADDRESS_MUX_ENABLE; Init.MemoryType = FMC_MEMORY_TYPE_PSRAM; Init.MemoryDataWidth = FMC_NORSRAM_MEM_BUS_WIDTH_16; Init.BurstAccessMode = FMC_BURST_ACCESS_MODE_DISABLE; Init.WaitSignalPolarity = FMC_WAIT_SIGNA

Hello, I have an issue with the energy harvesting functionality on the NFC04A1, which I believe probably has a very simple solution. If the reader is kept on the tag then EH is happening and working fine, then if i take the reader away from the tag, there is no power, as expected. However, if I then put the reader to the tag again, although I get 3.3V at the jumper, none of my code will work. E.G. NFC04A1_NFCTAG_GetVCC_Dyn() returns an error indefinitely.I can reset the program and its fine again, until it loses VCC again. This is a pain, as i find that if I put the jumper on constant VCC, the tag field can drop out randomly for a millisecond or so. If this happens with EH, it completely ruins the program.I imagine I cant be the only one who has noticed this, so I'm sure there is a simple fix. I imagine that fix already happens in my init function, but it would be handy to pinpoint exactly the point that it does, rather than run a lot of needless code. ThanksDamien

I create Custom hid and send 2 PC report usingwhile(1){USBD_CUSTOM_HID_SendReport(&hUsbDeviceFS, dataToSend, 4);}And... Device is frozen. Why? I am going inside HAL->USBD_CUSTOM_HID_SendReport... I see codehhid->state = CUSTOM_HID_BUSY;so USBD_CUSTOM_HID_SendReport function makes devise busy but no one can make device unbusy. Is it ok?

Posted on February 23, 2018 at 18:10Dear All,I use SPI as a master with 2 lines full duplex with DMA on STM32F303RE with 8-bit data size.Frames are made of variable number of Bytes. Normally SPI clocks out 3 Bytes of command on MOSI line + 4 Bytes of reception which contains the slave answer.My TX buffer is something like this:   (CMD)(ADD_H)(ADD_L)(4 Bytes don't care)My RX buffer will be:   (3 Bytes don't care, normally 0xFFFFFF)(0x21)(0x43)(0x65)(0x87)The output on the oscilloscope is perfect, but after a 30 seconds of millions of good communication I find the Rx buffer shifted:(0x43)(0x65)(0x87)(0xFFFFFF)(0x21) or(0x65)(0x87)(0xFFFFFF)(0x21)(0x43) or(0x87)(0xFFFFFF)(0x21)(0x43)(0x65) orThe shifted conditions is kept for some second, then it change. If I let it go, it keep on shifting, till goes back in phase.Here is the configuration of SPI:SPI_I2S_DeInit(SPI2);SPI2->CR1 = SPI_CPHA_1Edge | SPI_CPOL_Low | SPI_Mode_Master | SPI_BaudRatePrescaler_64 |

Hi,I'm simply want transmit on UART using code generated by CUBEMX 5.1.0 for NUCLEO F401RE in System Workbench (Version: Neon.3 Release (4.6.3)).I've only added the following code in the main:UartStatus is ALWAY HAL_OK after every transmission. I'm using Tera Term to see the serial data on COM5.Thanks for help! /* Infinite loop */ /* USER CODE BEGIN WHILE */ while (1) { /* USER CODE END WHILE */ uint8_t buffer [] = {0,1,2,3}; UartStatus = HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart2, buffer, 4, 1000); if (UartStatus != HAL_OK) { HAL_Delay(1000); }   HAL_Delay(1000); /* USER CODE BEGIN 3 */ } /* USER CODE END 3 */   static void MX_USART2_UART_Init(void) {   /* USER CODE BEGIN USART2_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE END USART2_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE BEGIN USART2_Init 1 */   /* USER CODE END USART2_Init 1 */ huart2.Instance = USART2; huart2.Init.BaudRate = 115200; huart2.Init.WordLength = UART_WORDLENGTH_8B; huart2.Init.StopBits = UART_STOPBITS_1; huart2.I

I have installed the last version of TouchGFX Designer.I choose the board STM32-F429ZI and an example.I may simulate the example in the computer and it work correctly. But, even though I have connected the board to computer, the button "Run Target" is unavailable.I also have STMCubeMX installed, but I do not believe that it can affect TouchGFX Designer.

Posted on January 18, 2018 at 15:09Hello,in a recent design I am experiencing some trouble on the L496RGT6 MCU when using UART1 in connection with an FT232RL. I am using HAL drivers.The following problem occurs: Transmitting data in blocking an non-blocking mode works fine. But receiving leads to problems as UARt stays busy receiving. For receiving I use the HAL_UART_Receive_IT(...) function. When receiving data the Callback routine is executed as desired, but when executing the next receive out of the Callback UART is staying busy. My Callback routine is shown below. My code is exported by CubeMX with the SW4 Toolchain. The code is testet on two MCU. Same code wors fine on other STM32 F-/L-Series MCUs.Are there any similar problems known yet? Has someone an idea for a workaround?void HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart){    if(huart->Instance == USART1){         // sending back received char    &nb

Hi!I'm just starting learning STM32, I got a st-link cutoff from a nucleo-board. I find programming ready boards a bit boring, so I went straight to naked MCU on breakout boards.So I got this STM32L431KBU6 chip on breakout and I can't get it to start. Here is the GPIO config, and the clock config. That is one from many I tried, I only tried with with internal clocks, MSI in different configs and HSI with different combinations of multipliers and dividers When I run a debug in Keil, I just can't get past some cycle. I think it's already some error handler, but I don't get it shown in C code.The thing is I managed already to run a "hello world" on another mcu (stm32l412K8t6), so I don't understand, what is so special with this one that I don't get correctly?Thanks in advice for any help.

Hi, I'm new here and I'm starting to develop an application on STM32H750 with TouchGFX. I've read about the STM32 LTDC's L8 (8-bit luminance or CLUT) mode. This would give a palette of 256 colors which is more than enough, and use very little memory. However it seems TouchGFX only supports framebuffers of 24bpp, is this correct? Or is it possible to let TouchGFX use an 8bpp framebuffer?Best Regards,Sjef

Hi,I start working with the new STM32MP157C-DK2 board and after testing the demo i restart from the bottom, compiling just uboot+SPL (no TF-A). I compiled with the last Linaro toolchain 'gcc-linaro-7.4.1-2019.02-x86_64_arm-linux-gnueabihf' and prepared the sd card with minimum just to boot (fsbl1 - fsbl2 -sspl partitions).All works fine: i reach the u-boot command line with no errors.Now i'm trying to debug the SPL: i'v never debugged a MPU and i wonna be sure i'm able to do this when i'll work on my own hardware. I follow the guide https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/GDB and i successfully connect the debugger, set some breakpoints (ex. on spl_init function) and contine throuth them. Despite all is very slow (it takes nearly 5s to continue until a break just in the next line) it seams to work. Grate !Problems starts when i try stepping: it doesn't work and i recieve a "timeout waiting for target halt" error.I bypassed gdb and i connect directly to the openocd Telnet server on localhost:

Hi. I am writing very time sensitive code on the STM8 mostly using assembly. However, I have noticed that sometimes adding one cycle of delay at one point in the code changing the timing of the whole code. I will explain in more detail to clarify. I have an interrupt which fires based on the a GPIO. I start reading the inputs. My code works, data read is good. I respond, but the timing is slightly off. So I add in a couple of nop cycles to fix it. The read is now broken. Keep in mind this is all a single sequential file of assembly to handle the interrupt. The processor is always in the WFI state when the interrupt fires. But somehow adding a couple of nops somewhere in the code causes everything to break (in terms of timing). I sure there is some explanation for this, but I have yet to find anything in any of the documentation. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.Thank you,Chris

Im new, hope this isnt dumb question. I have an erased STM32F303 and want to upload my code via UART1. I I have an FTDI USB to serial converter. I set BOOT0 pin=H and have the "Demonstrator" program for Windows working. Since the MCU is blank, how do I know where UART1 is? Thank you!

When generating a series of pulses in PWM mode with the series duration controlled by gated slave mode, final state of output depends on the timing the gate signal goes down.Is there anyway to force the state to low, so that the final pulse is not stretched? Short pulse is okay.

Hi! I'm trying to program the ST25R3911B-DISCO but I immediately stopped because I can't find the drivers to use it (win 10 64bit).I tried to use the GUI to update the firmware but it generates an error and you ask me to update the drivers, following the procedure but each has no effect.He wanted to know if there was any example of a project based on ST25R3911B-DISCO to read nfc tag through the "AIR Embedded workbench" program.Thanks a lot.

I have the discovery boards for the ST25DV and noticed a much higher current draw than I expected. In power down mode, (LPD = 1), the board was still drawing ~165uA.Looking at the schematics for the board, there is a 20k pullup resistor on the GPO line.This makes sense on the open drain versions of the chip, but this board has the 12 pin, CMOS output style of chip on it. After I removed the resistor, the current draw dropped within the bounds specified in the data sheet.Just a heads up, might want to consider revising the board to omit the resistor R1.

First time using a STM32F4 for I2S.I don't use your libraries as I want to understand the cpu at the register level.I set up the I2S PLL and enable the I2S clock.When I start to write to the SPI4 registers, they are not accepting the data. I have found this behavior before when the clocks were not enabled but I believe I have properly done that.I have a simple test I am using to validate my understanding - please see the code below.Please comment as to why writes to the SPI4 registers are not being taken.void Do_Audio(void) { int Num_Audio_Samples = sizeof(AA) / 2; int I = 0;   RCC->APB2ENR |= RCC_APB2ENR_SPI4EN; // turn SPI4 clock on   Config_STM_Pin(GPIOE, 2, 5, H_GPIO_Alt_Function, H_GPIO_Output_PushPull, SlewRate_Medium, No_Pull_Up_or_Down); // I2S_Bclk Config_STM_Pin(GPIOE, 4, 5, H_GPIO_Alt_Function, H_GPIO_Output_PushPull, SlewRate_Medium, No_Pull_Up_or_Down); // I2S_LRClk Config_STM_Pin(GPIOE, 6, 5, H_GPIO_Alt_Function, H_GPIO_Output_PushPull, SlewRate_Medium,

Hello,I'm trying to get DHCP working as an initial step in using LwIP. Have generated project with CubeMX and now I'm catching the problem. Using Wireshark, I can see that DHCP Discover packet is sent, but no response is received. IT seems that something is wrong with the packet. As a reference, I also captured DHCP packet from my laptop that does work and gets response.Any advice what is wrong ?Thanks in advance,regards,Rob.Packet from STM32F439 :No. Time Source Destination Protocol Length Info 3006 49.570106 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.255 DHCP 350 DHCP Discover - Transaction ID 0x5851f42d   Frame 3006: 350 bytes on wire (2800 bits), 350 bytes captured (2800 bits) on interface 0 Interface id: 0 (\Device\NPF_{A7ACDF3A-ED3E-4FAD-B7B4-533C6D411BF2}) Encapsulation type: Ethernet (1) Arrival Time: May 1, 2019 10:37:34.873435000 Srednjeevropski poletni ?as [Time shift for this packet: 0.000000000 seconds] Epoch Time: 1556699854.873435000 seconds [Time delta from previous captured fra

Dear, On https://touchgfx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/205443982 the variables textCounterBuffer and TEXTCOUNTER_SIZE are used in snprintf.  If I'm not mistaken, those variables are not available in TouchGFX 4.10.0. Is that correct?Thanks,Bart

It seems there is a mistake in STM32Cube\Repository\STM32Cube_FW_L4_V1.13.0\Projects\STM32L4R9I-EVAL\Examples\OSPI\OSPI_NOR_MemoryMapped project, the STM32L4R9I-EVAL board flash chip is connected in OCTOSPI1, but in this project, the instance is OSPIHandle.Instance = OCTOSPI2; . This project can run successfully, but actually it is accessing external RAM, not external FLASH. If we change the instance to the correct OCTOSPI1, it will run into error handler very soon. Please provide correct example code, thanks.

what's the meaning of the "SN",readed from "STM32 ST-link Utility"I read the UID from the Flash addr 0x1FFFF7E8, i found out the SNis not the UID. please tell me where is the SN 'data from? tks

I feel this would solve a couple problems. First, it would allow for more energy to be returned to the detector, increasing the signal to noise ratio and second, it would allow customers to focus on more specific areas. My questions are - can this be done? (imported question)

I'm running CubeMX 5.1 with FW_F4 V1.24.0 and Atollic TrueStudio 9.3.0. I have eleven RTOS tasks defined in CubeMX, but only one is actually invoked with its StartTask routine. As long as the priority on the task is osPriorityNormal(0) or lower, the code runs on my STM32F407 Discovery board. If I assign a higher priority (AboveNormal, High, RealTime), the code halts in the Hard Fault Handler routine. The actual fault is a Bus Fault, precise data access violation. This version of CubeMX/FW_F4 requires the use of CMSIS RTOS.Has anyone else run into this problem? As a workaround, I'm limiting the tasks to the priority levels of Idle, Low, BelowNormal and Normal.cjwilde
