Hello,I have followed this link: https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/X-LINUX-AI-CV_OpenSTLinux_expansion_package and successfully flashed STM32MP157c-dk2 device with AI OpenCV image.Now, I am trying to install python package scipy on the device. But it throws error that "unable to execute arm-openstlinux_wetson-linux-gnueabi-gcc: No such file or directory" and "error: command arm-openstlinux_wetson-linux-gnueabi-gcc failed with exit status 1"Could you please guide me? How can I install a python package on a device once the device is booted with AI OpenCV package.Thanking you,Saurabh

Hi, I'm building a program which has a part that is similar to the "Flex Button Example".In my case I've got a problem with Unicode. My program works the same as the image above. When I reach to number 24, 26, 28, 29, this is what it shows:This is my code:touchgfx::TextAreaWithOneWildcard texto; touchgfx::Unicode::UnicodeChar* memoria; int tama;   IP_AdressView::IP_AdressView() {   }   void IP_AdressView::adress1_button_pressed() { adress1_button.setBoxWithBorderColors(touchgfx::Color::getColorFrom24BitRGB(169, 172, 173), touchgfx::Color::getColorFrom24BitRGB(169, 172, 173), touchgfx::Color::getColorFrom24BitRGB(0, 0, 0), touchgfx::Color::getColorFrom24BitRGB(0, 0, 0)); texto = adress1; memoria = adress1Buffer; tama = ADRESS1_SIZE; buttonUppressed(); buttonDownpressed(); }   void IP_AdressView::buttonUppressed() { int tmpVal = Unicode::atoi(texto.getWildcard()); if (tmpVal >= 0) { tmpVal++; Unicode::snprintf(memoria, tama, "%d", tmpVal); texto.invalid

Hi everyone,I was wondering if it is possible to supply my VL53L0X with a 3V3 voltage?According to the datasheet, the 3V3 respects the recommanded operating condition.But when I look for example board from ST or other vendors, there is always a converter from 3V3 to 2V8. So I am a little bit confuse.Moreover, the note number (4) on the previous screenshot indicates that there is some API mode to set if the module works with 1V8 or 2V8. Sadly I did not find any related subject in the API User manual.Thanks in advance for your help.Regards,Alain.

Hello all,I have a STM32MP157C-DK2, and I want to use the minimal st-image-core.I have been able to use/build "st-image-weston", and when its starts, I can see my board on the local network, ifconfig says me eth0 has an ip address and I can ssh it.When I build "st-image-core", and successfully boot the board, I can't see it on lan. ifconfig doesnt show eth0.Can someone tell me why?command used:DISTRO=openstlinux-weston MACHINE=stm32mp1 source layers/meta-st/scripts/envsetup.shbitbake st-image-westonDISTRO=openstlinux-weston MACHINE=stm32mp1 source layers/meta-st/scripts/envsetup.shbitbake st-image-core

..

Why after$ source ./layers/meta-st/scripts/envsetup.shaliases is empty? What for?

I was planning to design a hand held uhf rfid reader using this ic. Is it possible to design one using this ic? if yes how to design the antenna for this reader.? What are the challenges in designing an rfid reader. Please help.

I'm running a ST25RU3993-EVAL with firmware version V2.0.0.0 STUHFL. Under "Reader Settings" in tab "Settings" under "EU Profile", within the TX-Options, there is a Selection-Field "Internal/External PA", which by default is set to external PA.When I try to set this to internal PA, I do get an error message "TX setting failed".Has anyone an idea, if this feature is possibly disabled by firmware, or even not yet implemented?

Please can any one help me,,,,its important for me...my project is pending due to this problem.Thanks in advanced.

Hello,I'm a student that is currently developing a firmware for a custom board with the STM32WB55CE-MC. I want to communicate with the MC over BT. I have tested my software on the Nucleo-Board where it works fine. When i try the firmware on my custom board, the microcontroller can not be seen in the BLE-Sensor app. While debugging the software, I realized, the MC never leaves the idle-State. I am using STM32CubeIDE for software developement.Has anybody experienced similar problems? Do I need to upload firmware to the RF-Core before I can use the BT-Feature? I have not done this up to now but I also have not done this with the Nucleo board. Thanks in advance for all your answers and kind regards,Florian P

Do you plan to add support for parsing static variables declared in functions?You already need to parse DWARF, maybe add location resolution for this type of variables also.You do it in STM32CubeIDE:We do it externally using pyelftools.Yes, there is a lot of assumptions in our script (compression, dwarf format,...), but it works in our use case.Kind regards,ZigaCode:Dwarf parsing useing pyelftools (modified example of https://github.com/eliben/pyelftools/blob/master/examples/dwarf_die_tree.py) to output also all DIE properties"current_" is on location:DW_AT_location = [3, 44, 1, 0, 32] DW_OP_addr = 0x03, next bytes are in little endian0x2000012C

why does cubemx V5.5 remove STemwin and TouchGFX part, will it move back? how can I use this part conveniently?

Hi,why it's not possible to copy all neccessary library files to my generated project for CubeIDE?When I choose EWARM, then this is possible...Thanks a lot,Ben

I have a 10 mhz external clock. I want to generate a phased locked division down to 1hz exclusively with timers. In my current test setup I am generating the 10mhz using TIM1 from the internal clock (this is to simulate the external clock). I am putting that out on a pin and I see that on a scope and it looks reasonable. So far I have tried bringing that signal into timer 2 etr2 as the clock source for TIM2_ch2 as the TIM2 clock source and setting up the timer to divide 10mhz down to 1hz but it is not working. Maybe I am missing something about using an external clock for a timer.Also is there a better way to do this?The actual external clock that will be used is a very high accuracy device.This test board is an F4 discovery boardHere is the timer 2 initialization code:static void MX_TIM2_Init(void)   {       TIM_ClockConfigTypeDef sClockSourceConfig = {0};   TIM_MasterConfigTypeDef sMasterConfig = {0};   TIM_OC_InitTypeDef sConfigOC = {0};   &nbsp

I am trying to get the demostration firmware to output some logs through UART or USART but was not able to do so.Both USB cables are connected (micro and mini) and I used Putty to connect to the Mini USB interface (ST link USB port). I also put the board in the USB mode.From the firmware side, I ensured that I recompiled and reflashed withUSE_LOGGER=1 -- was =2 originally in the exampleI was not able to get anything out of the Putty connection, though all other functions are working ok.Is there something I'm missing from my setup? or any physical jumpers that I need to change.Attached are some of the logging code from the example firmware.THanks in advance.

I am trying to set a baseline for low power measurements in my own application. To do this, I imported the PWR_STANDBY_RTC example in the STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.3.0 repository and installed it on the P-NUCLEO-WB55. I then powered the board via 5V_EXT and connected a Keithley DMM6500 across JP2.In this configuration, I measure about 10 mA when LED2 is flashing and about 499 uA when it turns off (should be in standby mode). The latter value is unexpectedly high, which makes me think I'm missing something.Are there additional steps required in order to measure standby current draw correctly with this example running on the P-NUCLEO-WB55?Michael

I want to use container as Drawable*, so I can use methods like moveTo() etc. to move the container around.I have my container in View, which is selectorboxContainer, which inherits from selectorboxContainerBase, which inherits from touchgfx::Container, which inheirts from Drawable.I can get Drawable* to this object using this method:Drawable* selectorbox = getFirstChild();But I cannot do it like this:Drawable* selectorbox = (Drawable*) selectorBox1;I get error: error: invalid cast from type 'selectorboxContainer' to type 'touchgfx::Drawable*'Why getFirstChild() can cast my container to Drawable*, but I cannot do it by casting?I don't want to use getFirstChild(), because it blindly picks Drawable based on order, instead of the drawable name. If someone reorders drawables, it will break the application.

Hi, I have a design where I have multiple GPIO interrupts and some share the same interrupt input line, for example EXTI10_15. How can I differentiate in the interrupt callback routine which GPIO triggered the interrupt aside from reading these GPIOs' input states?Thanks,Doug Burrell

I have seen some stm32mp157 boards from third parties do have a backup 3VDC battery attached to their RTCs, so it won't lose the time when powered off. Is there any way to connect a backup battery to the RTC circuit on the stm32mp157c-dk2 board?-albertr
