Hi I bought the board from Farnell.Had trouble installing the vcom in my Win 10 Pro PC and then in desperation installed the Sin 8 drivers and I got a valid comport.I can get a trace on STM32CubeMonitorPower app. However, the red ERROR led is always on and the little display shows "Supply stopped" with an hour glass timer. So, I thought it was faulty and got a replacement from Farnell. But I see the same behaviour in the new board too.The firmware in the board is 1.0.1

I have an application where I need to count the total number of pulses coming in from a fuel flow sensor. I then take the total number of pulses to display a readout of the total amount of fuel that has flowed through the sensor since the counter began. What would be the best way to do this? Timer? Regular EXTI? Thanks!

Hello everybody,I have some problems with Dfuse Demo recently. No changes in my device hardware. In 2 PCs using Win10, Dfuse stopped work.In other PCs using Win7 continue working correctly.Have some tips for me?Thanks in advance  Diego

Hello,My design must be very low power consuming. So, I am intended to reach 50 uA while waiting for a card by using the Tag detection mode.Is there any other approach so as to decrease those 50 uA while waiting for a transponder?Reagards, Ramon

I have been using the Starter-Package v1.2.0 with no problem. But I cannot flash the SD Card with the new v2.0.0 Starter-Package. I am using STM32CubeProg v2.2.0 and I keep getting the same errors (using either CLI or GUI):$ STM32_Programmer_CLI -c port=usb1 -w flashlayout_st-image-weston/trusted/FlashLayout_sdcard_stm32mp157c-dk2-trusted.tsv       -------------------------------------------------------------------   STM32CubeProgrammer v2.2.0   -------------------------------------------------------------------               USB speed : High Speed (480MBit/s)   Manuf. Hi ,We have done preliminary test on X-Nucleo-NFC05A1 and than made our custom board using the reference circuit provided. We have followed the sequence for Card Detection:Now the the function work as follows:rfalInitialize() gives ERROR_NONE st25r3911OscOn() which is giving the error =1(ERR_NOMEM).rfalFieldOff() gives ERROR_NONE rfalNfcvPollerInitialize() gives ERROR_NONErfalFieldOnAndStartGT() gives ERROR_NONErfalNfcvPollerCheckPresence() gives the error=4 (ERR_TIMEOUT)So before and after this function st25r3911OscOn() , everything looks good , just we are not getting what causing the error in st25r3911OscOn().We have connected the 27.12MHz Crystal. Also we have noticed that frquency of 9MHz on CRO across the crystal, so it is Okay ?Moreover need a review on Power Supply section of the schematic.I am attaching the screenshot , and in this we have kept R7 Open and +5V Not Connected. So any guess what is causing the issue ?

Hello,I have used the dev kit PLUG-CR95HF-B for the CR95HF, but it seems not to be available anymore.I want to use it for a new development and I need to confirm some points before. What is the roadmap for CR95HF?What is the ercommended devkit for CR95HF?Regards, Ramon.

We are using an STM32L151RE.We have problem entering USART1 boot on some of the boards. We set RESET low, BOOT0 high, then set RESET high. Then we send 0x7F on USART1 and get 0x79 as reply (on the working boards). The non working boards does not reply to 0x7F.BOOT1 is connected through 10kohm to ground. All boards can be programmed through SWD, no problems there. We have verified RESET and BOOT0 all the way to the MCU pins. And we can also see that the application reacts to RESET and BOOT0. The application runs only when BOOT0 is low and RESET is high (som that should be proof for functioning RESET and BOOT0).This MCU can boot into bootloader from USART1 and USB (USART2 boot can't be done as this chip does not have the pin PD5 and PD6).How can we troubleshoot this? I have pinpointed where in the bootloader it goes wrong. The bootloader reads the USB_ISTR.The value is 0x2000 on the faulty board and 0x0900 on the board that works. It is the SUSP bit that is cleared on the faulty board. And

Hi everybody!I'm using STM32H754 Nucleo-144 Eval Board in the combination with the lwIP (bare-metal) to make it work as a simple TCP echo client. Also, I'm using STMCubeMX for basic configuration and code generation.I'm stuck at the very beginning of my solution because it seems like I can't get an IP address from a router (DHCP enabled in lwIP).Details:JP6 is connected, ETH adapter LEDs (green and yellow) are turned on normally when the cable is connectedAll the functions called from the MX_LWIP_Init() are executed without errors (including dhcp_start ) - checked by debuggingnetif_is_up() returns true => network interface is upcode snippet from main.c:/* Initialize all configured peripherals */ MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_USART3_UART_Init(); MX_USB_OTG_FS_PCD_Init(); MX_LWIP_Init(); MX_USART2_UART_Init(); MX_LWIP_Process(); /* USER CODE BEGIN 2 */    error = tcp_application_start(); if(error != ERROR_OK) { error_handling(error); }   if(dhcp_supplied_address(&

HiGFX's designer tell me that all warnings would be treated as errors. But it's part of the LibJPG library, and I can't change it.Is there any way to get rid of this "error"?I want to open a JPG image in the simulator and display itThank you very much, kind stranger.

First, I have done this before successfully on the STM32F446re with all 3 ADCs and DMAs but I need some guidance or ideas... STM32F3348 Disco OR my target PCB with same processor. ADC1 (and maybe ADC2) using DMA to convert 7 channels on ADC1 and 4 channels on ADC2 and place them in the arrays. Regular sequence (not injected, etc). It's easier to sit in the easy chair and use the Disco board... I have done another project on the STM32F446Re with similar setup with 3 ADCs and DMA and it works perfectly so this one is really weird. This 3348 processor appears to use DMA in a slightly different way though. For instance, channels instead of streams etc.I DO get ADC results on both targets and the correct amount of array fills (7 and 4 locations). Using IAR EWARM 6.5 and ST-Link.One thing that appears to be going wrong is that for ADC1 anyway, every time I stop the debugging, the order of the A2D results appear to be shifted in the array. I can't tell which one is correct either. One of the

I have a development kit for the STM32L562, I'm trying to create a blinky-script that will use FreeRTOS to blink a led in the secure-world and the non-secure world simultaneously.Steps to reproduce:Install STM32CubeIDE 1.3.0New STM32 ProjectLook for the board that matches l562 in the search barCreate projectSet project nameSet targeted language to c++check "Enable TrustZone"click finishClick yes to both popupsOnce the project is loaded, the following configuration needs to be done in the "projectname.ioc" :Go to Middleware->FreeRTOSSelect "interface: CMSIS_V2"save the configurationgenerate the device configuration codeRight click "projectname_Secure" project and click on "build project"You should now be getting errors about "FreeRTOS.h" not being found by several files. If you add '/projectname/Middlewares/Third_Party/FreeRTOS/Source/include' to your include paths, you should no longer be getting the not found error, but should be getting multiple definition errors.Does anyone know w

Hi,I've been trying to get my CAN FD configuration going, but I'm running into issue when I need to reconfigure the timing parameters for different bandwidth.My original code, generated partly by CubeMX looks like this: hfdcan1.Instance = FDCAN1; hfdcan1.Init.FrameFormat = FDCAN_FRAME_FD_BRS; hfdcan1.Init.Mode = FDCAN_MODE_NORMAL; hfdcan1.Init.AutoRetransmission = DISABLE; hfdcan1.Init.TransmitPause = DISABLE; hfdcan1.Init.ProtocolException = DISABLE; hfdcan1.Init.NominalPrescaler = 1; hfdcan1.Init.NominalSyncJumpWidth = 16; hfdcan1.Init.NominalTimeSeg1 = 63; hfdcan1.Init.NominalTimeSeg2 = 16; hfdcan1.Init.DataPrescaler = 1; hfdcan1.Init.DataSyncJumpWidth = 2; hfdcan1.Init.DataTimeSeg1 = 7; hfdcan1.Init.DataTimeSeg2 = 2; hfdcan1.Init.MessageRAMOffset = 0; hfdcan1.Init.StdFiltersNbr = 1; hfdcan1.Init.ExtFiltersNbr = 0; hfdcan1.Init.RxFifo0ElmtsNbr = 2; hfdcan1.Init.RxFifo0ElmtSize = FDCAN_DATA_BYTES_8; hfdcan1.Init.RxFifo1ElmtsNbr = 0; hfdcan1.Init.RxFifo1ElmtSize =

I am still having some issues with my STM32F334x8 and ADC DMA regular sequencing....I am having ADC1 OVR flag set and am trying to use the IRQ which is successfully firing on IRQ but still need to understand how the sequencing and synchronization works with DMA a bit better.   OK, so seeing that DMA_CNDTRx is R/W, I can just write 7 to this register when disabled to reset that inside my OVR IRQ...Now, how do I read or change the SEQ Sequence in the ADC1 peripheral to a known value ?Does simply disabling the ADC and Re-enabling it reset the sequence count ? Would be nice to know where it is at but maybe that is not readable or writable ?

 Hey,I'm working with TMP175AQDGKRQ1 (temperature sensor) which communicates over I2C.I've managed to read the temperature register by doing this static void Read_Temperature(unsigned char *buffer[2]) { HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit(&hi2c1, /*0x4B<<1*/TEMP_SENSOR_ADDR, /*0x00*/TEMPERATURE_REGISTER, 1, 100); HAL_Delay(20); HAL_I2C_Master_Receive(&hi2c1, /*0x4B<<1*/TEMP_SENSOR_ADDR, buffer, 2, 100); }Now I'm trying to write a register and then check if the register was actually written by doing this bufferTx[0] = 0x00; bufferTx[1] = 0x02; HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit(&hi2c1, /*0x4B<<1*/TEMP_SENSOR_ADDR, /*0x03*/THIGH_REGISTER , 1, 100); HAL_Delay(20); HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit(&hi2c1, /*0x4B<<1*/TEMP_SENSOR_ADDR, bufferTx , 2, 100); HAL_Delay(20); HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit(&hi2c1, /*0x4B<<1*/TEMP_SENSOR_ADDR | 0x01, /*0x03*/THIGH_REGISTER , 1, 100); HAL_Delay(20); HAL_I2C_Master_Receive(&hi2c1, /*0x4B<<1*/TEMP_SEN

Himy first attempt to program a LCD1602 via I2C1 on my STM32F407 discovery board failed miserably. I do not get the start condition generated, which means I never get the Start bit (SB) set in my status register. It seems that I am missing something fundamentally in my setup. Intention: STM32F407 is master, LCD is slave. The I2C module on my LCD seems to be the PCF8574, with address 0x27 (A0, A1 and A2 are logic high).Any sharp eyes around that can spot my mistake? Thank you.EDIT:My code get stuck in line 42, where it never leaves the while loop. My code:#include "stm32f4xx.h"   // I2C1 using PB6 and PB7 as AF. // PB6: I2C1_SCL; PB7: I2C1_SDA // I2C driver used in LCD 1602: PCF8574 int main(void) { // 1. Setting up GPIO to I2C   // 1.0 Sets PB6 and PB7 to Alternate Function GPIOB->MODER |= (2<<GPIO_MODER_MODER6_Pos); // Sets PB6 to AF GPIOB->MODER |= (2<<GPIO_MODER_MODER7_Pos); // Sets PB7 to AF   // 1.1 PB6 and PB7 open drain GPIOB->OTY

Good day everyone.I'm trying to build application for dual-core MCU STM32H747XI on Disco board:Cortex-M4 core initializes System clock, QSPI and SDRAM and boots M7 coreCortex-M7 does all of dirty job like executing instructions from QSPI and etc.I tried to disable M7 core bootup after reset by uhckecking BCM7 bit on STM32CubeProgrammer.First time it just throwed me verification error and bit got back to checked. Second time it unchecked successfuly, everything has been applied but the MCU immediately died so DISCO board become bricked. Now it does not connecting with ST-LINK using SWD, JTAG, different Access Ports, when pressing Reset button and etc. It always says: "Error: No STM32 target found!"I tried to use System Boot (by shorting R192 on the board, it sets BOOT0 to 1) and connect via UART on STM32CubeProgrammer. It says "Error: Activating device: KO. Please, verify the boot mode configuration and check the serial port configuration. Reset your device then try again."Also no connec

I'm using NUCLEO-F031K6 (MCU: STM32F031K6) for PWM output generation (100Hz clock). Project is generated from STM32CubeMx v5.6.1. PA11 (TIM1_CH4) is used for PWM output. No clock pulses are seen. Version:TouchGFX 4.13.0File:touchgfx\framework\source\touchgfx\widgets\ButtonWithIcon.cpp:39The code is:#ifdef __IAR_SYSTEMS_ICC__ // Only include in IAR compilation #pragma diag_suppress=Pe997 // Suppress warning for intentional virtual function override #elif __ARMCC_VERSION #pragma diag_suppress 997 #endifBut it should be:#ifdef __IAR_SYSTEMS_ICC__ // Only include in IAR compilation #pragma diag_suppress=Pe997 // Suppress warning for intentional virtual function override #elif defined(__ARMCC_VERSION) #pragma diag_suppress 997 #endif(missing "defined")Compiling on GCC, the #elif gets evaluated, but the symbol __ARMCC_VERSION doesn't exist, so the compiler either complains about it and treats it as 0, or it exits with an error (if the "-Werror=undef" option is set).Compiler error:"__ARMCC_VERSION" is not defined [-Werror=undef]"PS: is this the proper way to file bug reports or is there a more appropriate (and more structured) place for it?

We use two types of sensors for our dev: lsm6dso and lsm6dsox. It is necessary to detect the type of sensor SW (without opening the device). And it's difficult, because adress (we use i2c) is the same, Device Identification (Who am I) is the same for LSM6DSO and LSM6DSOX... and i can't imagine how to easy to detect it

Hi ! I’m testing UART interrupt mode to transfer data with STM32L4R5 (IDE : STM32CubeIDE).I’m using HAL_UART_Transmit_IT and I have a problem with UART Handler. No data is send and the instructions in while loop in main function are not executed because the UART Handler is triggered without stopping. In debug mode I see that the isrflags and errorflags varaibles in HAL_UART_IRQHandler are equal to 0. That’s why no data are sent I think and the callback function is never called. I don’t understand my problem. Could anyone please help me ?Here is my code :// main.c file ///* Private variables ---------------------------------------------------------*/UART_HandleTypeDef hlpuart1;UART_HandleTypeDef huart1;/* USER CODE BEGIN PV */uint8_t tx_buf[] = "Hello\n\r";/* USER CODE END PV *//* Private function prototypes -----------------------------------------------*/void SystemClock_Config(void);static void MX_GPIO_Init(void);static void MX_LPUART1_UART_Init(void);void HAL_UART_TxCpltCallback(UAR

Problem is that the voltage does not rise to 3.3V, I measure it at 1.64V. The pin has nothing connected to it and I tried this on 2 MCUs.Using STM32CubeIDE 1.2.0 Build: 5034_20200108_0926, I created a simple project and configured pin PB6 as GPIO_INPUT. In the GPIO configuration I set PB6 to pull-up. Nothing else configured, everything else is at default settings. The code generated looks correct:static void MX_GPIO_Init(void) { GPIO_InitTypeDef GPIO_InitStruct = {0}; /* GPIO Ports Clock Enable */ __HAL_RCC_GPIOB_CLK_ENABLE(); /*Configure GPIO pin : PB6 */ GPIO_InitStruct.Pin = GPIO_PIN_6; GPIO_InitStruct.Mode = GPIO_MODE_INPUT; GPIO_InitStruct.Pull = GPIO_PULLUP; HAL_GPIO_Init(GPIOB, &GPIO_InitStruct);}NRST_MODE in the user option bytes is set to 1, but this shouldn't affect anything. It's almost as if this pin is bonded to something else that is trying to pull it low. What can I do to get this pin working?
