Hello all,I am unable to save time or restore proper time after I remove Vdd from my MCU when connected to a external 3V li ion battery (DL2032). After every power cycle my time gets reset to its initial default value. When I supply 3V from a regulated power supply RTC time works as expected. Can anyone please suggest me what kind of external batteries are to be used for STM32F042k6 or is there a special circuit that I should follow? Thanks in advance!Amith B G

I am trying to migrate from UM0462 Flash Loader Demonstrator to the STM32CubeProgrammer (upon a recommendation from STM, as the former becomes obsolete). Yet I seem to be missing the option of loading OptionByte file. The documentation for cube refers to option byte, but not as a file:Option bytes command -ob, --optionbytes Description: This command allows the user to manipulate the device option bytes by displaying or modifying them.Syntax: -ob [displ] / -ob [OptByte=<value>][displ]: Allows the user to display the whole set of option bytes.[OptByte=<value>]: Allows the user to program the given option byte.Example./STM32_Programmer.sh –c port=swd –ob rdp=0x0 –ob displHow does one load an OptionByte.hex file, besides the .bin file?

Hi, we are using STM32H743VIT6 IC for past 3 to 4 years. but from January, none of the newly bought IC is getting programmed via DFUSE. the IC gets connected, erase cycle starts reaches upto 49% and then nothing happens. only the timer is incremented.we can program the same IC via STLINK Utility and V2 programmer.also on the same board if we solder the IC bought 2 years ago, we can program it with DEFUSE without any issue. we have tried STM32H750 and 753 also. but faced same issue.also for this new lot, ADC reading is also not very stable....can some body help???

Dear experts,I am using STM32H750 vbt6 in my project .Recently I decided to use MCO1 to produce clocks for other devices attached to this chip .Also, I am using STM32cube IDE for working .It seems that setting the right parameters for MCO1 to work properly, is an easy task (by using CubeMX).(The input of source multiplexer of MCO1 is: HSE or PLL1Q and the output frequency of this MCO1 pin will be between 28MHz to 35 MHz.)Here are my questions:1-Are there any HW or SW recommendations for me to make this MCO pin work properly? 2-Does this pin produce "square wave form clock pulses"?Your consideration is highly appreciated.Regards,HT.

New version 2.6.0 is released.New features : Some 802.15.4 RF tests are added to make certification tests easier : In the transmitter test,it is possible to send MAC frames . The frame can be defined by the user. In the receiver test, the LQI, ED, and CCA tests are available and the PER test shows the decoded frames. Fixed issues : Fixes the blank popup message displayed when the script detects an error,Includes workaround to prevent some freeze observed on a serial port with MacOS.Disables the navigation link when the 802.15.4 receiver test is in progress, Updates ST logo and colors,Disables the start button as soon as the channel list is inconsistent in 802.15.4 PER multi-channel test,Restrictions :In the OTA Updater panel, the Image base address bytes are inverted. To flash at address 0xAABBCC, user must set 0xCCBBAA. The default value 0x7000 is working because it is equivalent to 0x007000 and inversion has no effect.

I am using STM32F412CGU6 MCU.I want to configure USART1 as Half Duplex mode (Single wire mode) with TX only and below configurations:Baud-rate = 115200Start bits = 1Parity = evenData bits = 7Flow control = offStop bits = 1But in STM CUBEMX , "Start bits" can not be set/configured. Check attached snapshot for reference. Can you please suggest the way/ code changes for configuring the USART1 with above settings?

Hello! I have a project where I set up the BLE , then I decided to add FreeRTOS to this project. But the problem is that there is an error in the generated project that I cannot solve (It seems the error is from Cube).(...).axf: Error: L6200E: Symbol vPortSetupTimerInterrupt multiply defined (by port.o and freertos_port.o).when I open this files I see that there are two implementations im freertos fileand this is port file They are not declared globaly. When I comment one of them, I get two new errors, when I seattle these new errors, I get news one. How to end up with this?

In order to do bench-marking of the work of sensor fusion I wanted to create a code application to test it out. The one provided as a part of the phone app doesnt work reliably, also wanted to code it myself. I was checking intro provided on the website. In the "Pro mode" examples provided I couldnt find any code example related to Sensor fusion.I have problem finding some other code examples and extensive API documentation that I can use to create sensor fusion custom application for Sensortile.box as well as to preferably visualize the output. I found a page on MotionFX but its not clear how to implement it and link all the libraries for Sensortile.box. How can I try solving this task?Best,

I want to use dsp libraries on cubeIDE 1.4.2. I used this library on cubeIDE 1.3.1 version but I couldn't use in newer version. My board is stm32f429 discovery board and I use cubeMX 6.0.1 version.I selected my boad in cubeMX, I installed CMSIS 5.6 in "Embedded Software package manager", then I checked the boxes as it shown in picture. I generated the project and compiled with cubeIDE 1.4.2. but I got "RTE_Components.h" not found error. I found this library and added to my project but I've got another error.l tried to use dsp library like I did on cubeIDE 1.3.1 version by adding "arm_cortexM4lf_math" but it didn't work.

Hello,I am quite new to STM32G0 based development. I want to generate periodic alarm interrupt from RTC (e.g. RTC should generate an interrupt at every 5 minute, 4 second and 400msec). Is it possible to generate interrupt like this? I tried various ways but none of them worked. Any clue or support in this regard would be appreciated.

HelloI have to obtain radio wave certification for products using STM32WB50. Is it possible to output modulated and unmodulated waves with STM CubeMonRF?The protocol stack we are using is MAC_802_15_4_FFD.bin. I can't understand it even if I call it a document. If STMCubeMonRF cannot output modulated and unmodulated waves, can I create it myself?Or do you need to change the protocol stack?

when i using a 100M network cable in a gigabit network，It should be recognized as a 100M network under normal circumstances，But STM32MP1 is recognized as Gigabit，at this time the network is useless，led is light but not blink，I changing cable to a Gigabit Ethernet cable solved the problem，I am using stm32mp157c-dk2

Hello,1) Where is the reference manual of SPC574S-DISP. I could not find it. What will I take reference for programming?2) I want to create dead time on my PWM signals. I know how to create a PWM signal. How to add dead time to PWM signals.Regards,

Thank you for helping. If you create a project with STM32CubeIDE, it will be included as shown in the image below.Where is this set in the IDE?

Hello ST folks. Recently, "THE MAN" updated us to Win10. Of course this broke a few (dozen) things.Oh yes . I know VB6. Unsupported thin ice. Just like they like it around here. The story is we have a load of small TEST applications wrote with this and were quite content with them. Would LIKE to see them work as they did on Win 7. Anyway - Win 7 :Happily using VB and the STM32L476 and the VCP app. Modified very little from the CubeL4 Example offerings. Yes - HAL. I know. But it was quick to use. Win 10:Busted. As soon as I fire up a VB application that hooks to a VCP com port I get a friendly Winders banner / box. Like so- (Imagine a box around this next couple of lines. ) RUN time error '8015' Could not set comm state., there may be one or more invalid communication parameters.I know 8015. No. Not Blocked with DeviceLockNo. No other device or application hogging the com port. Doesn't matter which com port I force it too I get the same result. VCP driver tried = ST1.31, ST1.4, ST1.5, W

I am getting no output with the code below Below is my main.c UART.c and UART.h file main.c<int main(void){ /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */ uint8_t buf []= " List Avialable \n\r"               " 1. HiTutorial 3 with a clock.How to improve accuracy?best regardsAndrzej

Despite of unchecking the visibility (static) box of "MX_GPIO_Init" in MxCube 6.1.0, the function is generated as static. Strange enough, the prototype at the top of the file is not. Clicking the column box, all boxes are updated, except the "MX_GPIO_Init".Seems a bug to me....Your reaction is appreciated!Martin

I recently bought "P-L496G-CELL02" and I would like to communicate in AT command with the module:here is the message that appears:Welcome to STM32-Cellular to Cloud (STM32-C2C)AT commands terminal: connection to PC with USB-OTG FS is needed.Modem is using eSIM.The modem did not answer...Please:    - Connect The modem on STMod+ port    - Install STM32 VCP drivers    - Connect USB link to PC on USB-OTG FS    - Set JP7 on U5V if no STLINK is plugged    - Set SW1 to position "1" if no STLINK is plugged    - Set terminal to 8bits/115200b/1 stop/No parity on OTG FS    - Reset while pressing joystick up buttonPlease retrywhen i change the baud rate to 115200, the module does not respondi'm using windwows 10 and also ubuntu 19.04.

In my project I have a LSM9DS1 with the purpose of measuring angular speed on the XY plane.I'm using for calibration a reference platter spinning at a constant 33rpm, and the code handling the gyro removes a previously measured 0-state offset and denoises the reading using moving averages. However, whenever I start it, I seldom get the same average readings. They might difer (the average) by +/- 0.02 DPS. Is this the precision limit, or something better can be achieved ?

Hi!I am using Algobuilder and I tried to use a flexible number of properties (like for example in the "Graph"). Although undocumented, I saw in the library for the display that there are <DisplayDependency> and <DisplayCondition> tags. I tried to use them in a custom block, but unfortunately the user interface is not automatically updated when changing the number and the input fields for the properties do not appear. It is working if I set a value and reload the entire functin block design or the library in algobuilder. Is this a bug or is this feature simply not supported by custom made blocks?Best wishes,Dominik

Datasheet specify a minimun serail clock for writing of 100ns. For sure I'm missing something because you have examples availables. Can you help in regards ?

By using the NFC/RFID transceiver STR25R3911B on a board, would it be possible to be compatible and also communicate like a serial port (tx/rx of bytes/packets) with mobile apps for Android and iOS? My board also have BLE, but I want to do its job by using NFC instead, and be able to transfer files and packets, and when the communication be idle be able to enter a low power mode. Is all that possible?
