Hi, How can i adjust PWM period in SPC560b54 using spc5 studio wizard?system clock=32MHZperipheral clock=16MHZeMIOS0 Global prescaler=20eMIOS0 pwm counter Bus=counter_bus_Ain eMIOS0 CH23 counter BUS settings:prescaler=1period=?For period 400KHZ, How can i select period in eMIOS0 CH23 counter BUS settings?

This is the data I grabbed with bushound. As shown in the picture, when I send data through HID once, the USB will send empty data packets indefinitely, and subsequent data packets will cause the transmission to be stuck and repeated. I tested the USB driver I designed and the HID sample program of FW_WB_V1.11.0, both of which are the same phenomenon. Through jtag debugging, it is found that after sending data, the register USB_EPnR will repeatedly change between 0x3673 and 0x7633. This is the proof that USB is sending data cyclically, but I can’t find a way to stop or solve it.And this kind of problem has never appeared in the USB debugging of STM32F4.

Hi,I had worked with stm32f407 using HAL libraries earlier but it is different UART peripheral from F4 a bit. I  use again HAL_UART_Receive_IT() and HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback() for stm32L011 in the user file. I implemented the Callback function respect to my project and taking notice that it get message in a byte and byte. I read the section 'how to use this driver' from uart.c driver. But for IT mode it doesn't suggest a different things from I did. My MCU can't get message properly it just first character of the message I sent.Best Regards.Muhammet Enes Şimşek.

I am curious if the STM32G0x1 can manage a DRP and a UFP USB-C as a charge through application? The USBPDM1 doc mentions other IC's and possibly other breakout boards. Is there a timline on when the TCPP03-M20 and documentation will be available?CheersJonas

Hello community,I need to control RTS and CTS signals in my application. But, It looks like STM internally controls these signals. Can anyone suggest better way to control them in my application. Thanks,Hiren Bhuva

Hello Community,I want to use __no_init CHAR gPassthruMode[4] @ APP_WORKSPACE_BLOCK_START;Here APP_WORKSPACE_BLOCK_START is the flash address. Can anyone suggest, how can we use this. Thanks in advance,Hiren

Hai,I am using the printf and scan f functions in my code of stm cube IDE, when I want to print some messages on VIRTUAL COM port , but the messages are not showing in my serial monitor. I dont know why it is not working , is there we have to write an extra functions for printf and scanf functions in my code , how can i overcome this problem , actually I just want to print the user messages on COM port of serial monitor and also receiving the user entered data, Thanks and Regards, raj

From an Idea discussion with @Pavel A. https://community.st.com/s/ideazone#0873W000000blKWQAYStCubeMX should enable your programm to know its own code version.via the autogenerated linker script or any way .Related with my old question https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W00000ZVSgbSAH/git-commit-hash-flashed-along-with-my-code@Pavel A. >In CubeIDE projects you can add a custom pre & post scripts where all this can be easily done.@Javier Muñoz >Where can i find more information? All system scripting and behind the scenes of cubeIDE is obscure wizardry to me.So ...i still dont know :(

I used stm32l562zet6q in my item，i found in product page zet6q cad symbol is same as zet6 but in datasheet is not.

Howdy everyone.I need my MCU to be selfaware of what FW version is currently flashed,so far im just manually typing the git commit hash inside a const string every time i change the FW version. It looks to me like a feature that should be supported somewhere but i couldnt find a thing. Is there a way to automate this process?cheers

Hi all,I'm trying since 2 days to get my f469i-discovery running on CubeIDE 1.5.0 and touchGFX 4.14.Are there any working examples for this board ?Embedd wizard is working like a charm in combo with CubeIDE 1.5 but not touchGFX.Seems to be quite complicated....Is there anybody who can help??Regards,Chris

Hi all,I want to use TouchGFX without STM HAL. In my project that uses STM32L476, the code was just written with another library (libohiboard on GitHub). Our customer asks to add a display to this project, and I would use TouchGFX but without ST HAL. I try to generate a project with CubeMX, but I can't find the glue layer between GFX and HAL where I can change the HAL call. Can you help me? Is it possible?ThanksBest regardsMarco

Hello,I am using multiple different sensors which require different pull-up resistors. For I2C BUS, I have to use just one pull-up resistor value for all sensors. How can I calculate or decide the resistor value? MCU is STM32WB55.Sensors are VL53L3CXV0DH and LSM6DSOTR.Thank you,Batuhan

Hi,Let's say I have a workspace with multiple projects (e.g. application project, bootloader project, etc.) for a product. Let's say this workspace is located in C:\ProductA. Now I would like to duplicate this workspace to use it for another product let's say ProductB, it will be located in C:\ProductB, but of course I want to also keep ProductA. After Googling a lot about doing this in Eclipse I now have found two ways to achieve this:Option 1: Create a completely new workspace C:\ProductB from scratch and then import the projects from C:\ProductA into that workspace by ticking the "Copy projects into workspace" option. The problem with this approach is that all workspace settings will need to be imported in a separate step from the old workspace and I am not 100% sure that CubeIDE will actually copy all additional files and folders from the old folder.Option 2: Do a filesystem copy of C:\ProductA to C:\ProductB and open C:\ProductB in STM32CubeIDE. The annoying problem here is, that

I have configured the GPIO for I2C1(Alternate function 4) and enabled the Clock for I2C1. After that I am trying to enable the ACK. but not able to enable that.. Also tried for I2C2 and I2C3 facing the same issue.//enable the clock for the I2C peripheralI2C_PeriClkControl(pI2CHandle->pI2Cx, ENABLE);// ack control bituint32_t tempreg = 0;tempreg |= (pI2CHandle->I2C_Config.I2C_AckControl << 10);pI2CHandle->pI2Cx->I2C_CR1 |= tempreg;I also tried manually in debug mode. Not able to SET ACK bit of CR1 register of any I2C(I2C1/I2C2/I2C3)Any idea how to resolve this issue? Can anyone help please

Hey there, I am trying to increase the RPMSG buffer size to 1024 on the STM32MP1 for the last couple of days. The A7 side seems to be working fine but the M4 side seems to struggle with the vdev declaration on the device tree. On the A7 side: virtio_rmpsg_buss.c#define MAX_RPMSG_NUM_BUFS (1024) #define MAX_RPMSG_BUF_SIZE (1024) #define RPMSG_RESERVED_ADDRESSES (2048) #define RPMSG_NS_ADDR (53)stm32mp15xx-dkx.dtsi:vdev0buffer: vdev0buffer@10044000 {   compatible = "shared-dma-pool";   reg = <0x10044000 0x10000>;   no-map;   };On the M4 side: rpmsg_virtio.h* Configurable parameters */ #ifndef RPMSG_BUFFER_SIZE #define RPMSG_BUFFER_SIZE (1024) #endifThe user-space can see and send messages to the RPMSG channel but when debugging the M4 part I get what to seems to be a memory allocation error (gdb) 0x1000b47e in MAILBOX_Poll (vdev=0x10020f70) at ../OPENAMP/mbox_ipcc.c:105Any ideas or advice will be highly appreciated.

I've got the following structure to write to memory:```#define FLASH_CONFIG_START_ADDR ((uint32_t) 0x080E0000)#define FLASH_CONFIG_END_ADDR ((uint32_t) 0x080E0040)union NVRAM { Config_t config; uint8_t data[512];} DevNVRAM;```I've used this code for writing to memory```uint32_t l_address = FLASH_CONFIG_START_ADDR; uint8_t l_index = 0x00; l_address = FLASH_CONFIG_START_ADDR; HAL_FLASH_Unlock(); FLASH_Erase_Sector(FLASH_SECTOR_11, VOLTAGE_RANGE_1); while (l_address < FLASH_CONFIG_END_ADDR) if (HAL_FLASH_Program(FLASH_TYPEPROGRAM_BYTE, l_address, DevNVRAM.data[l_index]) == HAL_OK) { l_index += 1; l_address += 1; } HAL_FLASH_Lock();```and then I simply read from the same block of memory.```l_address = FLASH_CONFIG_START_ADDR; l_index = 0x00; while (l_address < FLASH_CONFIG_END_ADDR) { DevNVRAM.data[l_index] = *(uint8_t*) l_address; l_index += 1; l_address += 1; }```The problem is the following, after I have read the whole sector, data becomes different, in particular, it is filled wi

I was trying to write a simple UART driver using polling method to run on my Nucleo-F303RE. I tried 2 different approaches:I wrote the function intpolldriver() to write an integer value between UART4 and UART5 in the main.c, called it in main() and compiled the code. It was built and ran successfully, passing values b/w both UARTs verified by TDR value of UART4 and RDR value of UART5.I wrote another function uartintpolldriver(), which accepts the UART handlers for UART4 and UART5, as an API and called it in main(). Though it compiled without errors and was expected to run exactly as above (the function code is exactly the same), it instead branched into hard_fault_handler.It seems to me like more should be passed to the API function uartintpolldriver() rather than just the UART handlers. Or am I missing something more here? What could be wrong here? How do I fix it? It would be helpful if someone could give a pointer on how to do this. Attached below is a zip of my log and source code.

I'd like to use TIM14 to time some events but only using software capture triggering. I'd like to setup TIM14 to count continuously through its whole range and use the CC1G bit in the TIM14_EGR to capture the timer. I'd like it to ignore TI1 or disable TI1 but I don't see any option to do this. Thanks,

I've managed to get the SDRAM up and running on my STM32H745 Disco board. I've confirmed this by usinguint32_t* sdram = (uint32_t*) 0xD0000000; sdram[0] = 0xDEADBEEF;and checking the memory content. However, doing it this way, I have to control the address space myself.Instead I want the linker to assign the address space automatically. I've made sure the linker script is set up properly as explained in the document linked here. The Build Analyzer confirms the correct assignment. However, As soon as I use code like this// This part is declared globally __attribute__((section(".sdram"))) uint32_t sdram[1000];   // This is in main() sdram[0] = 0xDEADBEEF;I get the dreaded Note that I've declared the variable as global because if I try to declare it locally inside main() just before the assignment of DEADBEEF to sdram[0], the compiler barfs. How do I get the linker to recognize the definition of the variable sdram and have it memory managed?

I have CubeIde 1.61 installed on Win10/64 hard disk. About box/dialog says it is version 1.61, that is, the current version. Desktop icon or shortcut says it is version 1.40 or something. That is the original version number I installed sometime ago and then later updated.I can change the name easily, so that is not the problem. Perhaps the shortcut should only be named CubeIde?

Just discovered that ARP request messages are padded with 18 bytes of trailing zero bytes, making them 60 bytes long instead of 42 bytes. A third party device doesn't like this and fails to respond to the ARP request message. I'm using a STM32F476 device to generate the ARP request. Does anybody have a fix for this issue?

Hello , I have STM32H750x MCU. I would like to know why the ETH DMAMR->SWR (software reset bit) is still ALWAYS SET?I know even the HAL driver is trying to do the SW reset on the ETH DMA and MAC. I know I should have an enabled and stable clock for the HCLK. and i also turn on the clocks for the ETH interface, CLOCK setup for the ETH has been called, using the __HAL_RCC_ETH1MAC_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_ETH1TX_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_ETH1RX_CLK_ENABLE();commands are set, and also all the RMII GPIOs are set, and in the SYSCFG register the RMII interface has been selected, still the SWR bit is set, and the only thing I can clear it if I do a:  __HAL_RCC_ETH1MAC_FORCE_RESET();but after this I have to again release the forced reset using the  __HAL_RCC_ETH1MAC_RELEASE_RESET();command, but still the SWR bit immediately switches back to SET state, so thats why simply the ETH DMA does not start working. How can I debug or check why
