Hi,Im trying to establish an I2C communication between stm32f446nucleo board and stl32f469i disco board,I flashed the stm32f446-nucleo I2C master code example from cubeF4stm32f446 into an stm32f446 nucleo board and the slave I2C code example from cubeF4-stm32f496i disco into an stm32f469i disco board,As a result i get an indication ( LedToggle ) that there was an error during communication,Is what I did correct ?

I am using powerSTEP01 to drive a stepper motor with the specs as follows:The motor stalls at 1190 step/s due to resonance as suggested in application note:https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/dm00061093-voltage-mode-control-operation-and-parameter-optimization-stmicroelectronics.pdfI have observed the 'A+' and 'A-' output on oscilloscope and this is what I have observed: zoomed in In another test run, I have driven the motor using a pulse input type motor driver. The motor is running smoothly at all speed and the resonance problem is not encountered. The driven output from the pulse input type motor driver is as follows:zoomed in Comparing the driven output from powerSTEP01 and the pulse input type driver, a notable difference is that the 'A+' and 'A-' driven from the pulse input type driver coincide each other (as circled in red), while the 'A+' and 'A-' from powerSTEP01 are totally separated. So I am thinking that this might be the pulse input type driver's countering me

A new version 2.7.1 is released. Fixed sniffer issues :Remove extra FCS bytes in frames.Stop then start capture with no frame raised an error.Enjoy !

e are operating VL53L0X in High Accuracy mode with time budget configured to 9000msec.Please help us to understand how sensor taking multiple sample and gave final stable output in high accuracy mode.We are going to use this sensor for distance measurement of piston inside syringe. For same plan is to put sensor on cap of the syringe. During initial testing with multiple sensor board, when piston is at top of syringe, we observed variation in reading. That indicate, we might need to store application specific factor with sensor. For same we might need to make provision of eeprom with Vl53L0x sensor on sensor board. We wanted to know, is there any possibility to store such "Application specific factor" on VL53L0X sensor, so we can avoid eeprom?If answer is No, then is there any alternative part available (similar in size of VL53L0X ) where we can store "Application specific factor"?

Hello everyone!Is there any project to generate an Clock output of 20Mhz? I tried with TIM 16 but the best I can get is around 300 kHzThanks in advanceAlan Blumenstein

Hi,My test kit is STM32MP157C-DK2 and kenerl version is 5.10.10.I tried to monitor falling edge event on PD.1, with command "gpiomon --falling-edge gpiochip3 1". It is faile and and the log in the attachment.Then I disable "hdmi-transmitter@39" in "stm32mp15xx-dkx.dtsi" and comiple it again and replace file in the OS, Then executing command "gpiomon --falling-edge gpiochip3 1" will work correctly.Please advise why PIN PG.1 interrupt configuration will affect PIN PD.1 interrupt configuration. Thanks,QiZhang

Hi all,As stated above, I can't seem to wake up the controller from STOP2 mode using WFE with the ALARM A. Hi,I'm currently trying to read and write EEPROM memory of a NTAG213.Using X-NUCLEO-NFC03A1 and NUCLEO board the tag is detected as "ISO14443A/NFC-A".Looking at source code example there is no method to read/write EEPROM data for this kind of tag (only for NFCDEP and T4T). I can see that both read/write method implemented in demo code use the function demoTransceiveBlocking to exchange data.My question is: Is it possible to use this function with my kind of tag to read/write data? My guess is that I need to adapt data sent to tag according NTAG213/215/216 specification, but I'd like to be sure.ThanksSylvain SERRE

My objective is to develop a sensored BLDC control.Right now I am collecting information and I find myself in the following situation.The motor has the following characteristics: V = 48 / 52VDC i I = 15 / 20A.I have seen the following STDRIVE101i evaluation boards the EVAL-L9907.With either of the two could I do the control?Are there other alternatives?What would you recommend me?Thanks,

I am developing an application for a STM32L412CB and use the comparator COMP1. I designed my pinout with CubeMX and put the output of the comparator on PB0. I also checked table 14 in the Datasheet Rev.8 on page 58, if it is correct. Now I wanted to configure the comparator by myself, not with HAL. I was very surprised, that table 16 on page 67 says, the alternate function of the comparator output is on PB1 instead of PB0. What is the correct pin? And what is the correct number of alternate function here?I assume, that there is a mistake in the AF table and it should be PB0 with AF12. Correct? If not, we have to make a new layout :face_screaming_in_fear: The same problem is also for PB10/11in the same table.

I created an external loader, I tried it with STM32CubeProgrammer. Most of the time its not working, rarely it can read the data and erase. When it happens I am trying to program the memory and it can program ~400 KB then it fails. Then I used ST-Link Utility and it can program 9 MB of data without any problem, also it can read and erase. It is always working well but same .stldr file is not working in STM32CubeProgrammer. I will use it for TouchGFX so I need STM32CubeProgrammer to work well. How can I solve this? Thank you. By the way I asked another question about external loader, after being sure it will work with STM32CubeProgrammer I will share my driver code for MX25L12835F and STM32H7A3RITX under that question so anyone who needs those drivers can download from there.

Is there any way to force the reset to defaults when the dialogue box does not come up asking you?Using 1.6.1 of the stm32cubeide with L432 nucleo32 development board.I have seen this once in a while but thought it was fixed in the latest version but a student in my class says it never asks him. So wondered if there is a workaround?

I have tried with Noto Sans, ipaexg, NotoSerifCJKjp-Medium. But still I am getting fallback character. I am using STM32H750VB. Can you please help how to fix this issue.

Development board: L072CZ-LRWAN boardDevelopment Environment: KEIL (Free License)HelloWe are currently developing LoRaWAN's end device.Before connecting JP9 1-2 to control TCXO,I tried to check if the output is coming from PA12, but only the voltage of mV is detected.No matter how much you look at the circuit diagram, the only connection to PA12 is SB13 that is disconnected from JP12(PIN1).I gave all the settings of GPIO to HIGH, but I checked that all except PA12, PA11 PB13.I'd appreciate it if you could tell me what I did wrong!Below is the code.void MX_GPIO_Init(void){ GPIO_InitTypeDef GPIO_InitStruct = {0}; /* GPIO Ports Clock Enable */ __HAL_RCC_GPIOB_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_GPIOA_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_GPIOH_CLK_ENABLE(); /*Configure GPIO pin Output Level */ HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOB, LED_G_Pin|LED_B_Pin|LED_R2_Pin, GPIO_PIN_RESET); /*Configure GPIO pin Output Level */ HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOA, TCXO_VCC_Pin|LED_R1_Pin, GPIO_PIN_RESET);&n

Hi!I notice that in the datasheet of both VL6180 and VL6180X, there is EXACTLY the same plot of distance measurement. So that's leaving me to the question: Who is best for short distances, VL6180 or VL6180X?Have a look at page 12/87 here:Proximity and ambient light sensing (ALS) module (st.com)And have a look at page 32/73 here:VL6180-Datasheet.book (st.com)Both same plot. Why?I assume that VL6180X is better for short distances, but I can be wrong too?

Hello Group,I am reading SPI from the Nucleo STM#@F401RE with the ST accelerometer LIS2DW12. I set the chip-selected pin low during the transition, but I saw the selected pin go high.How I fix this problem?Thanks a lot for your time,Jackvoid readId() {      uint8_t bufp[1];      uint8_t reg = LIS2DW12_WHO_AM_I;      reg |= 0x80;      HAL_GPIO_WritePin(CS_up_GPIO_Port, CS_up_Pin, GPIO_PIN_RESET);      HAL_SPI_Transmit(&hspi2, &reg, 1, 1000);      HAL_SPI_Receive(&hspi2, bufp, 1, 1000);      HAL_GPIO_WritePin(CS_up_GPIO_Port, CS_up_Pin, GPIO_PIN_SET);}

what is the correct schematic to refer to for ST25R3916 ? The schematic files downloaded from the st website is different from the schematic proposed in the matching tool for 3916-aat

Hi.When i power my board and everything else i configure sensor in continous mode and succesfully getting data for each axis. Board is parallalel to the floor then it means that for getting angle i need sensor data from x axis and from y axis. I tried with https:// blog.digilentinc.com/how-to-convert-magnetometer-data-into-compass-heading/ this approuch only difference is that i multiply data from axis with 1.5 ( i had read in aplication note that this is sensor constant to get mG) and for sensor in given web site is 0.48828125.I want to ask is it needed to calibrate sensor every time when you power you entire board ( MCU and IIS2MDC) ?Is that formula from given website good or not? Because i dont get good data when i compare with compass value from my smartphone even if i add declination angle for my geographical location to the calculated angle value which i got from the sensor.

Hi all,I'am working with an LSM6DSO32, I read this AN5473 at page 13 and 14 we have 2 tables comparing different operating modes. I have a question for gyroscope for example if I chosse ODR 208Hz with G_HM_MODE = 1 I'am in a normal mode, and if I set G_HM_MODE = 0 I'll be in high perf mode. What's the difference between normal and high perf with same ODR frequency?In high perf I'll have better result, more precise ?Thanks
