Hello all,Is there a reference doc about the HAL/LL for ST's 32F439 ARM MCU?  I want to know the function structure and just want to know how it works and to have control over how I set up my devices.thanks George

Dev board: Nucleo-F767ZIDear all,as I wanted to have my own Vref+ for ADC conversions I removed solder bridge SB12 (coupling Vref+ with VDD) to input my own reference voltage (~3V) at Pin 6 CN7.After removing the SB12 however the STM 32 device is not found anymore. I can still connect with the ST-Link and trying to reflash the device I get the following from CubeProgrammer: 16:42:51 : STM32CubeProgrammer API v2.7.0 16:42:57 : ST-LINK SN : 066DFF343137524157233717 16:42:57 : ST-LINK FW : V2J37M27 16:42:57 : Board : NUCLEO-F767ZI 16:42:57 : Voltage : 3.24V 16:42:57 : Error: No STM32 target found!So did I physically destroyed something while removing the SMD or did I trigger some failure state that I can somehow reset? Any help is appreciated.PS: Resoldering the bridge did not help. Surface looks clean, no unintended solder bridges visible.PS2: LD7 blinks for a fraction of a second when attaching or detaching the ST-Link USB cable.

I need help with standby mode and rtc wakeup.If I set date/time and RTC-Alarm time, I don't get an RTC - interrupt.I guess this is why the stm32f103 don't wake up from deep sleep.Do anyone have an link (or code) to an example using RTC amd wakeup from standby mode? Best regardsOla

Hi,I connected my brand new STM32F769I EVAL board to power and to PC through USB ST-Link port, I opened STM32CubeProgrammer, picked ST-LINK connection on the top right, clicked Connect, and it said that I need to perform a firmware update first. So I click Firmware upgrade, and the ST-LINK/V2 is recognized in the Upgrade tool, so I perform an upgrade successfully.But now after restarting the device and going back to CubeProgrammer, the drop down menu next to the Serial number under ST-LINK configuration says "No ST-LINK detected". I tried pressing refresh but it didn't help. If I click Firmware upgrade, the ST-LINK/V2 is detected in the STLinkUpgrade window, and I see a valid ST-Link ID, but clicking on Open in update mode now results in an error: Error connecting to device ST-LINK/V2 (error 0x21); check the USB connection and refresh the device list. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the USB, refreshing the device list, switching to another USB port, all to no avail. Again, it de

I have a project for H743 with three SPIs.CubeMX creates the following code for initializing SPI pins:void HAL_SPI_MspInit(SPI_HandleTypeDef* hspi) { GPIO_InitTypeDef GPIO_InitStruct = {0}; RCC_PeriphCLKInitTypeDef PeriphClkInitStruct = {0}; if(hspi->Instance==SPI1) { PeriphClkInitStruct.PeriphClockSelection = RCC_PERIPHCLK_SPI1; PeriphClkInitStruct.Spi123ClockSelection = RCC_SPI123CLKSOURCE_PLL; if (HAL_RCCEx_PeriphCLKConfig(&PeriphClkInitStruct) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); }   __HAL_RCC_SPI1_CLK_ENABLE();   __HAL_RCC_GPIOA_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_GPIOB_CLK_ENABLE(); /**SPI1 GPIO Configuration PA5 ------> SPI1_SCK PA6 ------> SPI1_MISO PB5 ------> SPI1_MOSI */ GPIO_InitStruct.Pin = GPIO_PIN_5|GPIO_PIN_6; GPIO_InitStruct.Mode = GPIO_MODE_AF_PP; GPIO_InitStruct.Pull = GPIO_NOPULL; GPIO_InitStruct.Speed = GPIO_SPEED_FREQ_LOW; GPIO_InitStruct.Alternate = GPIO_AF5_SPI1; HAL_GPIO_Init(GPIOA, &GPIO_InitStruct);   GPIO_InitStruct.P

Hi, thereI am developing a bootloader to upgrade the firmware through CAN. I have done it successfully with a STM32L431CCUx platform. Everything works when the SCB->VTOR is available. When it comes to this Cortext-M0 core (STM32F072), which has no VTOR, I realized that I need to the followings:Reserve the beginning 196 bytes of SRAM to store the Interrupt Vector Table. See ReserveSRAM.png. I did this in the beginning of SystemInit(). I've also tried it in the beginning of main(), failed the same.Copy the Interrupt Vector Table of the application to the beginning of SRAM. My application codes starts at 0x08014000. See CopyMemories.png. Remap 0x20000000 to 0x00000000. See SYSCFG_CFGR1.png. However, after I've done all these, the interrupt subroutines in the application code are never called. The SysTick timer interrupt, and any other interrupt if enabled, is always pending. See NVIC.png. The break point at the interrupt handler is never hit. I can trace the firmware from my bootloader

NCao Writes:"We have a cover window that is a few cms away from the sensor. What kind of calibration would make the sensor ignore it?"

I want to write to FLASH and read. Why doesn't it record?HAL_FLASH_Unlock(); FLASH_Erase_Sector(FLASH_SECTOR_7, VOLTAGE_RANGE_3); HAL_FLASH_Program(FLASH_TYPEPROGRAM_WORD, FLASH_SECTOR_7, 300); HAL_FLASH_Lock(); set_time = *(__uint32_t*) FLASH_SECTOR_7;Compiles without error.Andrzej

I am using a custom board with a STM32F4. It seems that I can receive the data through this function that is called by interrupt and adding the pointer read_buffer, that I use inside the RxUSB() function to get the data and do the necessary operations on it.USBD_StatusTypeDef USBD_LL_PrepareReceive(USBD_HandleTypeDef *pdev, uint8_t ep_addr, uint8_t *pbuf, uint32_t size){ HAL_StatusTypeDef hal_status = HAL_OK; USBD_StatusTypeDef usb_status = USBD_OK; read_buffer = pbuf; hal_status = HAL_PCD_EP_Receive(pdev->pData, ep_addr, pbuf, size); usb_status = USBD_Get_USB_Status(hal_status);if(usb_status == USBD_OK) RxUSB();  return usb_status;}Instead I transmit using in every point I need (for example in the functions that are in the Main) the function USBD_CUSTOM_HID_SendReport(&hUsbDeviceFS, ArrayTxUSB, CODA_USB);. It's not called by an interrupt.The problem that I am seeing is that the communication stops to work soon and sometimes I can't even t

Dear All,I am designing a card using STM32F730R8 whose package is LQFP64. Datasheet makes me confused. Let me explain step by step.1- Datasheet Page 50: There is a pinout figure and it shows that Pin 13 is VDDA.2- Datasheet Page 57: There is a table and it explains pin definition and pin 13 is defined as VREF+ for LQFP64 package. Just below row, there is a VDDA definition and there is no pin number for LQFP64 package. 3- Datasheet Page 144: There is a note below Figure 41 and it says "VREF+ input is available on all the packages except LQFP64" 4- I also check what STM32CubeMX shows and it shows that Pin 13 is VREF+ instead of VDDA. The score is 2 to 2. So, what is the pin 13? VDDA or VREF+??Someone should also correct the datasheet...Regards,

I configured my spi to have a datasize of 8bits. However, its sending an extra '\0' after every letter and i can't figure out where this is coming from. Am running a Nucleo-F303k8.Here below, am trying to send a Hello World! message but it gets corrupted all the way. Here is how i configured my settings. void SystemClock_Config(void);   void SPIConfig(void) { RCC->APB2ENR |= RCC_APB2ENR_SPI1EN; // Enable SPI1 Clock SPI1->CR1 |= SPI_CR1_CPHA | SPI_CR1_CPOL; // Enable CPHA=1 and CPOL=1 SPI1->CR1 |= SPI_CR1_MSTR; // Master Mode SPI1->CR1 |= (7 << 3); // Baudrate divide with 256 SPI1->CR1 &= ~(SPI_CR1_LSBFIRST); // LSBFIRST = 0, MSB_FIRST = 1 SPI1->CR1 |= SPI_CR1_SSM | SPI_CR1_SSI; // SSM = 1, SSI = 1 -> Slave Management SPI1->CR1 &= ~(SPI_CR1_RXONLY); // Full-duplex (Transmit and receive)   SPI1->CR2 |= (7 << 8); // SPI Datasize -> 0111: 8-bit   __IO uint32_t tem

Hi everyone,I have a button (flexbutton), that should triggers a different action depending on his previous state. For instance, my button should light on or light off a light, depending on his previous state. If the button was previously activated, it switchs the light off, and vice-versa.In WPF I used a proprety called "tag", which was changing depending on the user actions, but is such thing or similar available in TouchGFX ? I don't want to use toggle buttons, multiple buttons or create a variable in code. Thanks!

Hello,We ordered some VL53L1X and put them on our PCB. We ran into a problem at the moment of changing the address: we can give these sensors only two address options 0x52 (default) and 0x53 so that they work correctly, but at other addresses the sensor initialization procedure looks correct, and the sensor can be seen, but during the measurement it returns only 0 mm.We are wondering if there is a possibility of defective modules that we ordered? Or do we need to find the problem somewhere else? (we do not think this is a code, because on one module of the Pololu board, changing the address works fine) .Best regards,Aliaksandra

On the the disco board it is set up as follows:-  /**QUADSPI GPIO Configuration  PE2   ------> QUADSPI_BK1_IO2  PB6   ------> QUADSPI_BK1_NCS  PC10   ------> QUADSPI_BK1_IO1  PC9   ------> QUADSPI_BK1_IO0  PB2   ------> QUADSPI_CLK  PD13   ------> QUADSPI_BK1_IO3On the custom board I've had to change PD13 to PA1 (AF9) for the IO3 line in HAL_QSPI_MspInit() but I can still see the data being sent on PD13? There was no data on PA1.Thanks,Will.

Hello, I am trying to run a project generated by STM32cubeMX. DHCP thread code I got from ST example called "STM32H723 webserver demo" and put it to my code. Communication between PHY and STM32 works well, DHCP doesn't work. Even if I put a static IP, it doesn't connect to my router. But if I download that ST webserver example, everything is ok, and DHCP works. Where is the problem? I did Lwip configuration via CubeMX equal to Lwip configuration in that ST example, everything other is the same (linker areas, MPU config, etc). I haven't in my project an HTTP server yet, I just want to ping my device from my PC. DHCP stops at SELECTING state.

I am using KIEL with ST-LINK V2 programmer Boot0 ( Pin number 138) tied to LOW via 10K resistornRST has a 100nF to GND and a pull up resistor 10KChecked the POR and it looks fine It looks like the chip doesnt run Please advise

Hi,I want to read a tag with my own Reader Circuit Board- st25ru3993. I use Nucleo L476RG as the master. which functions do I need to include in order to read a tag? I've tried and open the demo solution but it didn't work. Can someone kindly help me out?Thanks in advance!

Hello; I try to undestand touch gfx watch application. I could not understand how the pressure arrow is rotating without any interaction algorithm. Is the rotation of texture map related with orego? What makes the 2 step forward and 1 step backward, how can achieve this in a new created texture map?

In AN2606 Application note "STM32 microcontroller system memory boot mode" on page 53, it describes thatThe STM32F070x6 bootloader is activated by applying Pattern 6 (described in Table 2: Bootloader activation patterns). Table 17 shows the hardware resources used by this bootloader.and on Page 24, Bootloader activation patterns, where can I find nBoot0_SW and how to set it?Thanks and best regards,E-John

Hello! I'm trying to run a LWIP example intended for another micro on the STM32H753 but ran into some issues setting up the H753 in STM32CubeIDE. In order to use LWIP, I'm getting this error:Ok, no problem. I went over to setup the Ethernet and it appears there are a number of things that must be setup in order to get this to work. Luckily, I found a guide that seems to address most of them here:https://community.st.com/s/article/How-to-create-project-for-STM32H7-with-Ethernet-and-LwIP-stack-working I setup the clocks (with a few minor alterations) but ran into an issue when trying to setup the Ethernet as MII. It looks like there's a conflict with the green LED already being setup as an Output on that line. No big deal (at least not at this stage), I put it in a reset state to fix this issue (essentially, unassigned) and went to setup the MII again. This time, I'm getting an "unknown conflict" . . . I have no idea what the problem is at this point or how to resolve it.Anyone run into

I am a PCB designer for a start up Medical Company. We are gearing up for our commercial launch, do to the current supply chain issues we are have trouble acquiring parts. we bought these parts from a company in Canada, they shipped from China. The text looks different than the ones we acquired 3-6 months ago. How can I verify they are good parts?

I've got custom hardware that needs a wireless stack upgrade to the latest stack, located here:https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeWB/blob/master/Projects/STM32WB_Copro_Wireless_Binaries/STM32WB5x/stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_full_fw.binBut I do not know what the correct start address is to use. I have read https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/dm00513965-st-firmware-upgrade-services-for-stm32wb-series-stmicroelectronics.pdf and I found the following: 2. Write the wireless stack image in the user Flash memory at the address equal to:– If new install (no wireless stack currently installed): 0x08000000+(SFSA x 4KB) - ImageSize – If a wireless stack is already installed: ◦ If new image size <= current image size: WirelessStackAddress - ImageSize ◦ If new image size > current image size: WirelessStackAddress - (2xImageSize – WirelessStackSize It is advised to perform a FUS_FW_DELETE operation before starting a wireless stack installation. (This is performed by STM32Cube
